I am Garroth
Garroth
-Occurs at the same time as last chapter-
"Come ON dude! It's not THAT bad!" The girl I've been trying to help laughed coldly at me.
"(y/n), I'm serious... You could get hurt..." I said gently, biting my lip lightly.
She's a year younger than me and she's even worse than Zane...
"I'm taking a look. Gosh. You act like I don't know what the hell I am doing." She said, rolling her eyes and jumping to the ground beside me.
"There are security cameras in there. And you already ripped your jeans." I countered, motioning to the inside of the fenceline.
"And you are looking at me like that." She pointed out.
My jaw dropped as a red tint crossed my face. (y/n) chuckled before elbowing my arm, "You blush too much, Garroth."
I sighed softly. "Can we just go? We're supposed to be getting back... Curfew is in ten minutes..."
"Since when do any teens even listen to that. Be back at 1:30am if you aren't with an adult older than 22." The last sentence she said was in a mocking voice. "Ugh. That is the most ridiculous rule in the history of rules."
I sighed. "Come on..." I started to usher her away from the fenceline
I love her and all... but why do I? She doesn't respect me at all or anything...
"Garroth... I don't want to! I said I wanted to find out about it and I'm going to!" She shouted, making me slightly wince.
I frowned before letting it all loose, "You are seriously going to get hurt! That place is run down and dead! You'll either get sick or die from something in there."
"Why do you care? All you are is just a guardian..." (y/n) said softly with a frown.
Then... I just couldn't hold back anymore.
I had to kiss her.
There weeks Prior
"Come on, Laurance." I said gently, wanting one of my roommates to actually get into gear.
Laurance chuckled. "Alright. Alright!" He said as he walked out of the kitchen. "I was just checking to see if Travis left the burner on again!"
I rolled my eyes. "He hasn't woken up yet."
Laurance laughed. "All the more reason."
I chuckled softly as we both went outside. "So, how was the date with Jacklynn?"
Laurance shrugged slightly. "It was fun."
"And?" I smiled.
"And what?" Laurance laughed at my facial expression.
"What else?" I chuckled.
"We were just on a walk! One, it wasn't a date and two, we're just friends!" Laurance said.
I raised a brow. "Sure~. And the snap on Snapchat last night of you two was 'being friends'." I pulled my phone out to the saved picture.
It was literally her and Laurance. And he. was kissing her!
"That was a dare..." Laurance stuttered with a smile, his cheeks tinted.
"So I could call her right now and she would say the same?" I smirked.
His eyes widened. "Don't you dare call her."
"She's my cousin. I can do what I want." I grinned.
He frowned. "Okay Okay... We weren't gonna tell anyone... Mostly because John would kill me..." He said softly.
I laughed. "He honestly would. Seeing it's his baby sister and you together... he always told me to keep you away from her in high school." I said.
Laurance chuckled. "Like we listened." He said softly before looking like he was day dreaming.
"And that play with you two as the male lead and female lead." I smirked.
"Now don't you dare bring that up..." He said as he pointed his index finger at me accusingly. "I thought we swore we would never talk of that again..."
I laughed. "Nope. We are so talking about it. Her face when you kissed her at the wrong time was so priceless."
Laurance chuckled. "Oh yeah. When she turned into a strawberry with her crazy green wig on."
"You couldn't tell what was the face paint and the actual blush by that time!" We both started laughing as we continued talking.
I knew Laurance loved to talk of her. So anytime we talk, I always bring it up just to keep the conversation going.
Laurance looked at me every once in a while, trying not to laugh since whenever he did, I would puff my cheeks out like he did the first time he met Jackie...
She thought he was a chipmunk at first because of his Halloween costume. And he thought she was... well, a bad thing.
But when they got to know each other better... He learned she was really sweet.
We walked through the park and saw a group of kids from our college.
The 'cool' kids.
Laurance chuckled lightly. "I see one girl over there.." He smirked lightly, making me direct my attention that way.
I was confused before seeing a lonely person without some form of smoking device. She was beside one of the guys, talking.
Her (e/c) eyes shined as she did. She looked really pretty... Oh jeez.
Now I sound like Travis and Laurance.
Laurance laughed. "Lovestruck much? I was just pointing her out. She's (y/n)."
"That's her!?" I stuttered as I looked at him.
Everyone knew of her being... a lot of things...
Rebel, Careless, and... Any other word you could use to describe a bad person.
Except the only title she hasn't one is being a slut... She doesn't look like that bad of a girl though...
But then again... Sirens were beautiful yet they would kill sailors...
She was that.
A siren...
"Well. You gonna go to Buck's party tonight?" Laurance asked me.
I shrugged softly. "Sure. I don't have anything else to do."
He smiled. "Good. Cause I'm going and I am not going alone or with Jackie."
"Why not?" I asked.
Laurance chuckled. "She isn't into parties and... yeah."
I smiled. "Alright."
We continued to walk before disappearing further into the park.
(y/n) the Siren... very interesting...
