"Sasuke-kun" Hinata called and emerged from the shadow to in front of Sasuke. Her voice was frightened, she was scared; scared of everything, for sasuke leaving the village and being a rogue ninja and for him to severe all his bonds. This all was just not right.

She eyed Sakura who just tried to stop him from leaving the village but ended up getting hurt. Hinata felt pitied for her, all she wanted was to stop him cause she cared for him. Cause she loved him. But at last he just knock her out and put her on the bench.

For the first time after a long period, she felt the emotion called anger rushed through her veins. How could he do it? she was his friend, his comrade and most importantly a member of team 7 which he was also part of.

Her attention came back to him as she heard him sigh, a annoyed one but she didn't care. All she want to do was to stop him, stop him from severing all his bonds not because she was close to him but because he was a comrade.

He can't just leave, leaving all of them especially Naruto. He would be so hurt if he came to know that Sasuke leave the village. Didn't he even think of it, didn't naruto and everyone didn't matter to him?

"So you saw and heard everything huh?" Sasuke asked but more than a question it was a statement. A fact. "Were you eavesdropping"

If Hinata wasn't angry than at his previous comments, she would be either blushing hard or may have fainted already but she was different at the moment and for his previous question she wasn't eavesdropping; i mean she does but she didn't intend to.

After coming back from her mission with her team she goes to the Hyuga compound directly and to her bed but she wasn't able to sleep so she decided to go on a late night walk. How could she know that this was coming? how could she know that she was was going to watch a drama of Sasuke leaving the village and Sakura trying to stop it.

How much she wish she just stayed at home but...she have saw every single thing; she can't just ignore it and went on her way. That would be selfish and Hinata Hyuga isn't one of the selfish type who just think of themselves.

"Why don't you just let me leave, Hyuga. Go back and sleep" He spoke annoyed that he have to walk through one more girl, not his fangirl this time but a former classmate with whom he have barely interacted with. He understand why Sakura wants to stop him from leaving but why was the girl in front of him wants to stop him.

Just who was she to him? Yes, he admit that she have help him some months ago in the forest and he was grateful to it, he even have said thank you. The word he haven't said to anyone after his clan massacre. He said that word to him but that doesn't mean she was something to him.

Just why was she trying to stop him?

After a long time of Hinata not replying, Sasuke asked the question which was on his mind with a sigh, "Why are you even trying to stop me Hyuga. Who are you to me; I can understand of the reason why Sakura tried to stop me but you. Why don't you just go and mind your own business"

Hinata raised an eyebrow at this, what did he meant? why wouldn't she stop him, they were former classmates and also they are comrades "Why would i try to stop you?, Sasuke-kun. Aren't we comrades, why don't you tell me why wouldn't i try to stop you Sasuke-kun"

Sasuke smirked, if it was not the fact that she was trying to stop him than he would be a bit impressed that she didn't stutter this time, what a miracle? isn't it.

"Did the reason even matter, Hyuga. Maybe comrades matter to you but to me it's just a simple meaningless word. It has nothing to do with me, so stay away from my way......" he take a look at sakura unconscious body in the bench than at Hinata with a smirk,

"If you don't want to end up like Sakura"

"Sasuke-kun why are you leaving the village. Can't you just stay and train hard instead of training under a missing-nin" Hinata asked biting her lower lip hoping to get a positive reply but just what was she wishing, it was impossible. She have heard everything.

"So you sure have heard everything" he sighed before continuing "Listen, Hyuga, sakura do the same mistake as you, she tried to stop me but ended up getting hurt by me. Do you want me to do the same with you"

Hinata took her fighting stance as she stare at sasuke with her eyes filled with determination and her byakugan activated. There's so way she would let him do the same with her as he did with sakura. Not without a fight, she's not giving up.

Sasuke's reaction remain calm as he; without a warning or anything appeared behind Hinata and before she can do anything he knock her out. But before losing her full unconsciousness, she heard Sasuke mumbled,

"Hyuga Hinata, if ever i come back to the village i wish to see you with the same confidence and determination as you saw today. Take my advice, Hyuga have confidence in yourself and you will be a strong shinobi; and maybe after that we can spar"

Than everything went black.

And in the next morning, when she woke up, she wasn't in any bench. In fact she was in her room, in her bed, sleeping peacefully; that was when she realized that sasuke bring her back and she can't help the smile that came to her lips. She wandered if it was only her or if he also bring sakura back.

Hinata quickly shook her head as that thought came in her mind; of course he must have take sakura home. It's not like she was that special to him that he will only bring her home. right?

But Just how wrong she was.

Her smiled quickly disappeared as, Neji came rushing to her room giving her the news that Sasuke left the village.

Hinata quickly sat up from her sleeping bag and breathe heavily. Her whole body was covered in sweat as she turn to look at Kiba who was sitting near the fire side and asking if she was okay with raised eyebrows.

Her lips parted and in a mumbled she spoke "Yeah Kiba-kun i am fine"

"Do you have a nightmare" he asked now kneeling down beside her and tilting his head on one side.

"N-not really bad..." She spoke, her voice just a whisper only enough for Kiba to hear, than she gazed around the jungle where they were in right now and to Shino who was sleeping peacefully.

Her head shot back towards Kiba as she remembered that after Shino took the watch she have to be the one to take second watch, "Kiba-kun i was supposed to take the second watch right, why didn't you wake me up"

"Oh...about that you were really tired from the mission and sleeping so me and Shino didn't want to wake you up so i watch instead of you"

"H-huh, sorry Kiba-kun now why don't you rest i will watch"

Kiba shook his head quickly as if denying her offer. But his eyes were not supporting him as it by every seconds become heavy and it didn't go unnoticed by Hinata as she giggled, "Go Kiba-kun and rest, your eyes aren't supporting you and don't worry about me. I can't sleep anymore...not after that dream" she reassured with a smile mumbling the last part.

After some more small arguments Kiba finally agreed and went to sleep beside Akamaru and in some moments he started snoring. As for Hinata, she seat beside the fire and watch the starts in the sky wandering many things about her life specially that dream.

Now after this long time why would she dream about that night when sasuke leave the village and although she tried to stop him as Sakura did, she failed. It's doesn't matter anymore right?

She mean, Sasuke came back to the village after the war with Naruto so why would that night even matter now. And even tough he did numerous bad things, he and Naruto both protected the world so it's just like atoning for his sins right.

She can't even expressed how happy she was; three days ago when she heard that the village elders decided to forgive him for his sins and let him live in the village as Konoha normal shinobi. But only after keeping him in surveillance for a month.

Means he will be watch by the anbu for one more month than he will be free.

But who would have thought that in this happy times, there would be one thing troubling her, putting her in guilt.

Neji's death. Her cousin died protecting her in the war. The whole world is safe and sound just because of the sacrifices of many shinobis who died protecting their village, their world. And in them Hyuga Neji was also one and she was proud of him.

Although... she wish she was the one who died not him.

Thinking of every thing she have also thought of visiting Uchiha Sasuke in the place where he has been keep in surveillance before she went on this first mission after the war but she forgot. Maybe after arriving back to the village tomorrow she should go and check on him. After all he was a comrade right.

She wander if he remember her, if he does than it might be a miracle and if he doesn't, she wouldn't be surprised tough. He have many other things to remember and anyway she wasn't important to him that he need to remember her.

And even if he remember her or not, at least visiting him wouldn't hurt right. Yes she should visit him. Of course sje should.
