With Him

No One's POV

As (name) slept, Yuliy opened his clear blue eyes. Seeing the younger one's sleeping face made him smile; she looked at such peace compared to her messy state earlier. Feeling his heart beat pick up, Yuliy placed a hand over his chest where his heart remained; it fluttered with a warm feeling that made him feel nice. But something about this feeling confused him.

Hearing the clicking of heels proceed their way towards his bed, the Sirius looked up seeing a bothered Willard.

Knowing what the professor had appeared worried about, Yuliy directed his gaze to (name) letting Willard follow. A soft sigh left his lips upon seeing the peacefully sleeping sixteen-year-old; "I was worried. I'm glad she's feeling better" Willard whispered with a smile.

Cautious to not wake her up, the Sirius sat up "I am too but for some reason, she's making me feel confused" he said causing one of the professor's brows to arch, "what do you mean?" He asked.

Taking a breath and gazing down at (name), Yuliy spoke softly enough for Willard to hear; "I'm not quite sure but when I with (name) I feel my chest bubble up with this soft feeling. I feel as if I'm closer with her then everyone else." Yuliy led on.

"Don't take my words the wrong way, I still think you're like a father to me and I still care for my brother. But what I feel is something more complicated than that. It isn't a companionship like with Philip, Fallon, and Dorthea; it's something so much more. It's a strange feeling that puzzles me."

Never before had Willard seen Yuliy like this: confused to the point where it amused him. Desiring to help out his son-figure, the older man grinned "you know Yuliy, they do say love is complicated" he mentioned almost amusingly.

Aware that Willard once asked him about the subject of love, Yuliy observed (name)'s features, soaking them in like the many times he had before. He had never fallen in love before so he didn't know if that was the answer he's been looking for. He's grown to learn nothing of women, feelings, and stuff he found unnecessary. The professor knew of the teen male's issue and decided to drop the subject. The seventeen-year-old was about to go find out everything about Siriuses, he didn't need something so trivial to stick in his mind.

"You and (name) have plans tomorrow so the best thing you can do right now is rest," Willard said as he began to bid Yuliy goodnight before the said teen's remark caused him to almost choke on his saliva. "Actually, I'm thinking of leaving (name) here" "what?" Hearing his voice grow loud, the older man snapped his mouth shut.

When he saw that (name) was still sleeping he inhaled deeply before turning back to Yuliy "what are you talking about? Did you even speak to (name) about this?" The professor asked.

A nod left the Sirius' head as he said; "I didn't tell her- nor do I plan to, but with everything escalating I don't want to get her caught up in everything. She's done so much already." When those words left his lips, the professor couldn't help but to visibly frown in discontent, "Yuliy. You know how she'll react-" before he could get too far, the sapphire-eyed teen interrupted with "I know... still though" and trailed off. His gaze never leaving (name).

Oh, how conflicted Willard was. But what could he do? It's not like he could convince a determined Yuliy. A hesitant sigh escaped his lips "alright but don't get upset if she slaps you," this got a soft chuckle from the Sirius. When Willard left the room, Yuliy felt a wave of guilt splash over him. Yes, (name) debated whether or not to go with him or his brother but he's thought about it. A lot.

If she got severely injured then Yuliy would take the blame onto himself. He's let her get hurt too many times. Memories of what happened to (name) with her right against the monster from the train causing his arms to grip themselves around the sleeping teen's waist tighter, for he was too afraid to let her go in fear that she would potentially slip away.

Yuliy's body moved on its own as it leaned down to kiss the top of (name)'s head muttering an "I'm sorry". He wanted the (h/c) head to be as far away from whatever was going to happen as she could. Maybe it was for the sake of his conscious but he wanted to make sure (name) would stay safe. Even if he had to be removed from the picture.

Minutes became hours and hours felt like a lifetime. Yuliy's eyes were closed but he couldn't bring himself to sleep; he didn't feel like he needed to. He wanted to spend his last few hours with (name) whether she was awake or not. Just her presence was enough to comfort him.

Until the time came when he decided the leave.

The sun had barely laid its touch on the earth and Yuliy watched it from the window he stared out of. Turning his attention downwards to (name) once again, he saw the softest smile he would ever see her wear.

Her expression made Yuliy experience a sense of homesickness. He was really going to leave her- but it's for the best. It's for her sake. He had to.

Ascending himself up, his sapphire orbs that glistened in the sun landed on the pair of arms that belonged to (name). Sometime throughout the night, she had wrapped her arms around him to gain warmth for her upper body. Something the blanket didn't do.

Wiggling out of (name)'s grip, Yuliy shivered as he got out bed; the cool morning air greeting him with open arms. Grabbing his hairbrush on the table, he brushed his hair- usually, it would be (name) doing this but right now she was asleep and the Sirius obviously didn't feel the need to wake her up.

Brushing his hair on his own was different compared to the (h/c)me doing it. When she did it, her touch was so soft and satisfying that he would feel the hold of sleep try to grab back at him.

After doing his morning routine, Yuliy had decided it was time to go. With his jacket clung to his body, and his instrument case in hand he was ready to go. Peering back to (name) one last time, Yuliy's chest squeezed in pure guilt; 'maybe telling her about me going will help me- no. Yuliy, you've told yourself that you wouldn't wake her up' now his feeling clashed.

The clashing in him made it harder to leave. Thinking back to his mission to get the Ark before Yevgraf aided Yuliy's thoughts but a linger of guilt left itself in his heart. Inhaling deeply, Yuliy gave himself a mental slap and rushed out the door with only one thing in mind 'Ark! Ark! Ark!... (name)- Ark!'

A battle within. Still, he was able to leave the mansion. Breath after breath, Yuliy persevered his way beyond the gate in hopes of not letting his heart take over his head.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, the lack of body heat woke (name) up. Reaching her hand out to where she recalled Yuliy being- only to find him not there. A sudden jolt in her body woke (name) up as she shot up in the bed. Where had Yuliy gone?

Did he leave her behind?

Jumping out of the bed letting the cool air of the morning caress her, (name) grabbed her jacket, threw on her shoes, and ran out the room. Her breath was heavy and uneasy while trying to find Willard- or anyone who would know where her Yuliy was now.

Passed room doors, maids, butlers, stairways, (name)'s inhuman agility assisted her in running to search for Yuliy who had walked beyond the gate of the mansion. With heavy pants and light steps, (name) dashed out the door. Her pace continued even passed said door.

Getting smacked in the face with cold morning air didn's stop the (h/c)nette in her tracks though. They only made her push harder resulting in her head to be lightheaded; 'I don't have time for this!' (Name) shouted to herself. Pushing away the agonizing feeling, she ran and ran until she saw the Sirius within her vision.

With her throat dry and aching from her heaving, (name) attempted to call out to the walking teenager. Sadly, her voice gave out- the sudden rush of her body had started to take its toll on her.

Slowing her pace to a halt, (name) threw her hands down to her knees as her heart raced, a bead of sweat trickled down her face, and her breaths were shallow and forced. Even the girl's knees gave in making her fall down on the sidewalk.

Finally collecting the energy to, at least, shout out the boy's name, (name) took a sore breath in. "Y... Yuliy!" She forced out in a strained voice which seemed to catch his attention.

Turning in response, Yuliy was shocked to see the, supposedly sleeping, teen on the concrete while panting for air. He ran towards (name) in a panic "(name)! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in bed?" He asked bending down to help her.

Without any warning at all, (name) punched Yuliy in the chest. It wasn't playful. Not at all. Instead, it was harsh but wasn't enough to hurt the Sirius.

(Name) looked up with eyes drowned in confusion, hurt, and disbelief "how could you leave me?" Her tone shook Yuliy to the bone. All the guilt he was trying to avoid came back with a burst of emotion. And holy damn did it hurt.

"I'm worried. I don't want to drag you down in my personal affairs more than I already have."

SMACK!

Yuliy's eyes widened feeling a hand thunder up to his face. Realizing that he now face to the side, he turned his head back to (name). As if a sudden surge of power filled (name), she began to stand up grabbing Yuliy's collar pulling him up to where their gazes now met.

Her voice shook with anger "why... why are you acting like these past four years mean so little?! Don't you think that I want to be involved with you? i want to know more about you! I want to experience more things with you because I care!" Yuliy's eyes remained in their wide state.

She cared.

She cared about him.

She wanted to be involved.

She wanted to be involved with him.

I have updated my children! After five LLOOOONNNGGG YEARS!

Future me: so uh, hey! It's actually been five days. I swear it was longer than that.

Sorry if this chapter wasn't as good. I've been really burnt out on writing because I've had to write my research paper. The new semester has also been filled with nothing but work so I apologize in advance for future slow updates.

Besides that! The new Wattpad update surprised me. Okay so when I read I have the dark background on. I DONT WANNA GET BLIND WHEN I LOOK AT THE TABLE OF CONTENTS!

Other than that, I have noticed the color has changed and other stuff has changed (logo design). I'm not saying it bad, I'm just addressing my thoughts.

If anyone would like to read over my research paper to helo my soul then tell me. I'm pretty burnt out.
