Well, the recipe for hell began about an hour ago. We left our school, more like Ally dragged me from our school to the nearby mall for the so called 'shopping'. Which for me is my 'invitation to embarrassment'.

Well Irene, here we go.

We entered the mall and Ally dragged us to countless shops. Pantaloons, Gucci, Tokyo Talkies etc.

"Finally it is finished!" Zach exclaimed while he sat comfortably on one of the benches with ten shopping bags. Yes, you guessed right, Ally loves shopping,

"It wasn't that bad" Kou stated as he sat with two shopping bags. And yes, shopping is not my cup of tea. I rather save money or order extra pizzas.

"You say so 'cause your girl does not try to shop the entire store" Zach said grumpily.

Wait, hold on a sec. 'Your girl'??

Before i could say anything, Ally barged in with a punch on Zach's arms.

"OW! woman, that hurts you know" Zach said while rubbing his sore arm. I must say, Ally is one hell of a puncher.

"It was meant to" Ally replied smugly.

"Geez, you two fight like an Old married couple" I muttered. Kou stifled a laugh.

"WE DO NOT!!" they both exclaimed together. I sighed. Sometimes I wonder whether they are a couple or twins bickering.

"Yes yes, whatever floats your boat" I sighed. "Come on guys, lets eat something. They all said a bunch of 'Yes'' and Yeah lets eat'. Zach and Ally started to argue on which ice cream flavor is better, Coco-milk 'OR' Coffee-walnut. They two sure fight a lot.

We all ate burger at Burger King. Now the the moment I dreaded from the time I entered the mall came. Time to spend some alone moments with the Asian sweetheart,.

Wait, did i call him a sweetheart? Puberty sure is playing its role.

"So you two, meet you tomorrow!!" Ally said. She came to hug me and whispered:

"I want all the details tomorrow, and don't you dare hide anything from me."

With that she left. Now what?

I kept my Shopping bags in the back seat and and sat next to Kou. He owned a red Ford Mustang 2016 model. I must say, that car looked amazing.

"So....." Kou dragged. I mimicked him. He just chuckled. Whats with him always chuckling?

"Lets talk about each other" He said. "I mean, we have time till we reach your home, so let's spend time to know each other. I muttered a small yes.

"Lets start with you" He said. The shock must have been evident on my face.

"Me?" I asked, all he did was nod his head and started his car.

"Ohkay" I said. All he wants is to know me right? That's not a big deal. But it was a big deal for my heart. It kept on beating fast. If it goes on like this, it will break the record of Usain Bolt.

"Well, My name is Irene Woods. I am 16. I was born on 24th of October. My blood type is O+ve. I am a Scorpio. I like, scratch that, LOVE pizza. My favorite movie is Spirited Away. I love Kpop as well. Favorite band is BTS. I like purple color the most. Second will be black. And.... Thats it!"

"You like BTS?" Kou questioned. I nodded my head.

"Specially the song-"

"BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS" we both said together.I stared at him. No way, he likes BTS.

"And my favourite line from it is-"

"WONHE MAHNI MAHNI" we both exclaimed together. We stared at each other for a moment and started laughing.

"I never could have guessed you as a member of BTS army" I said while smiling. God, this boy here knows how to make me smile. I almost forgot all my problems. Key word: Almost.

"And I never took you as an otaku" He smirked.

"Hey, I am not a major otaku, I just like anime. That's it" LIES. Even he understood that i lied, 'cause he gave me knowing look and dropped the topic.

"So, how did you started your journey as a 'minor' otaku?" he asked, stressing on the word 'minor'.

"Nothing much, just stumbled over some movies and then series and then the journey went on and on" i said while smiling. At least I said half truth to him.

"Oh" was all he said.

Before I could ask him something, the car came to a halt. I saw ahead why he stopped and noticed we reached my home.

"wait, how did you know my address?" I asked while starring at him suspiciously.

He raised his hands in mock surrender. "Calm down little panther. Ally had messaged your address to me earlier."

Oh, so that's how it was. What was I even thinking to assume that he is a stalker.

"Thank you so much to drop me off, Kou" I said while smiling.

"Your welcome. So, see you tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yeah sure, see you tomorrow" I was standing near the door waving at him. Damn, he makes my stomach go all in salsa mode.

"I'M HOME!" I said while smiling. That Asian Boy made my day.

"Oh, welcome home dear. Aren't you in a good mood" My mom said while smiling. I guess she is happy that finally I quit being slugish.

"Oh nothing much. just hung out with Ally and Zach. Also made a new friend." I said while smiling.

"Oh, and who might that be?" My mom asked.

"Kou. Kou Nakamura. He is a transfer student all the way from Japan" I said. Somehow, my mom's smile brightened.Strange. Am i dreaming? Might be.

"Anyway, go and freshen up. I have made some delicious cookies." Mom said while walking into the kitchen. Her smile was evident in her voice. It felt good to see mom loosen up a bit.She has been worrying about me for the past couple of months.

It stung. No Irene, you need to move on. Your life is changing for your own good, it's a blessing from the Almighty.

Also, wouldn't Stacy want me to move on as well?

She would, wouldn't she?
