Chapter 25

Nat's POV

 Time Skip... Another Six Months Later...

  It's my wedding today... and also Wanda's. Vision ended up proposing to Wanda a couple months ago and we both decided to get married at the same time. Rather than having to go through the ordeal of having to plan and attend two separate weddings, we get to have one joint one. I'm honored to be sharing a wedding with Wanda. She's like a little sister to me at this point and I think the world of her. I also know how much Vision loves her, which is why I gave him the nudge to get the balls to propose to her. I'm so glad he did because she deserves some happiness. Scratch that, we all do. 

   As Wanda and I help each get all dolled up, Wanda sighs softly. "Do you think Steve is watching over us? I'm not religious but I like to think he's watching over us, attending our special day in spirit." I sigh softly. "I like that to think that he is." She nods and we finish getting each other ready. When we're done, we stare at each other in awe before doing so in a massive mirror. I crack a grin. "We look pretty damn good Wanda." She blushes and giggles before nodding in agreement. "I think so too Nat." 

    Instead of having guys walk us down the aisle, we grab a hold of each other's hands and walk down the aisle ourselves. In case you were wondering, we're in Central Park. The media isn't allowed to swarm the area and only our closest friends and allies are in attendance. As we walk down the aisle, everyone stands and all eyes are on us. Both of our faces heat up and we begin sweating profusely, trying to hide that from the guys of course. I lock eyes with Bruce and Wanda locks eyes with Vision. Our hearts begin to race a mile a minute as we hand each other over to our men. 

   Thor grins at us and begins reciting the usual wedding speech word by word. I have to say I'm pretty impressed by how professional he's being right now. He's even super patient as we exchange our vows with one another. That's super impressive considering there are four of us doing so rather than just two. We decide to use the same vows but change the names. They go a little something like this for Bruce and I:

  "I choose you. To stand by your side and sleep in your arms. To be joy to your heart and food for your soul. To learn with you and grow with you, even as time and life change us both. I promise to laugh with you in good times and struggle alongside you in bad times. I promise to respect you and cherish you as an individual, a partner, and an equal, knowing that we do not complete, but complement each other. May we have many adventures and grow old together."

   Which is followed by something like this for Wanda and Vision: 

  " I love you unconditionally and without hesitation. I vow to love you, encourage you, trust you, and respect you. As a family, we will create a home filled with learning, laughter, and compassion. I promise to work with you to foster and cherish a relationship of equality knowing that together we will build a life far better than either of us could imagine alone. Today, I choose you to be my husband/wife/partner. I accept you as you are, and I offer myself in return. I will care for you, stand beside you, and share with you all of life's adversities and all of its joys from this day forward, and all the days of my life."

     I mean ours was pretty good but damn, theirs just rendered me speechless. I think they have the purest love their is. That doesn't make our love less valid, just different from theirs. Like a wise person has said a million times throughout history, no two love stories are exactly the same, nor are two people. 

    After Thor rambles a bit more, we exchange "I dos" followed by heated and passionate kisses with the loves of our lives. When I pull apart from Bruce, I grin from ear to ear, as does he. "Nat, I'm the luckiest man in the world." I laugh and bite my lip. "I guess I'm the luckiest woman in the world. I love you Bruce Banner." He presses a gentle kiss to my forehead and pulls me close to him. "And I love you Natasha Romanoff. This is just the beginning for us." I bury my forehead into his chest as we head back down the alter followed by Wanda, Vision, and Thor. Everyone else follows us and we begin celebrating our first real win in a long time. Cheers!
