Unpredictability.
That basically sums up my entire life.

DAY 3 in OURAN
"Seville-san?"
I perked up instantly, hearing someone calling my last name. My eyes wandered around, until I spotted the teacher staring at me expectantly.
"Uh, yes?" I asked her tentatively.
A couple students snickered, making my face redden. Why did she want? The teacher — Ms. Hiashi, I think it was — sighed and pointed to the board. "Today you're on cleaning duty with Suoh, Tamaki." I turned around I my seat and locked eyes with said blondie. As soon as we looked at each other, a smile broke out onto his face.
Just as I was going to say something, the bell rang and we were dismissed.
"Don't forget to turn your club forms by tomorrow!" Ms. Hiashi said. "Due date is tomorrow!"
Everyone filed out of the class, and I made my way toward Tamaki, who was opening a closet. When he turned around, he looked surprised to actually see me there. "Connor!" He cheered. Despite only knowing him for two days, I was quickly wrapped in a warm and cuddly hug, the breath leaving my lungs.
"Awe you're so cute Connor! You look almost as pretty as a girl! Only you have that very distinct American look. Wait! Don't tell me you're actually a girl!"
Tamaki gasped and fell backward, his face bone white. I guess he's met his fair share of cross dressers.
I laughed nervously; if he was so afraid of cross dressers, I better not tell him I had dressed up as a girl; not that I could in the first place. Of course, I'd never do it again. It was a one time life or death situation. "I'm not a girl," I said gently. I do have long hair for boys my age though. Like my mother, I had boring, mousey hair.
It was both a curse, and blessing, due the constant teasing from fuckboys like Derrick.
"Good," Tamaki sighed, relieved.
He pull out a square thing from the storage closet, muttering so I couldn't hear, but it sounded like '...don't need another one...'
Well then.
Soon enough we sat on the desks in our classroom, watching the automatic sweeper go around. It made noises, and I laughed every time it hit the edge of something. Tamaki joined in with me, as we waited for it to get the rest of the room. "Does this even count as cleaning?" I asked him, chuckling at it smacked right into Tamaki's foot. He hissed out a cry of pain, and pulled his legs to his chest. Lucky me — my legs were too short to touch the ground. Instead, they swung gracefully through the air.
How fancy.
Tamaki shook his blonde curls. It reminded me of my brother, despite the fact that Tamaki's was basically my mother's.
Thinking of the blonde, I gazed at him theough my peripheal vision. He was rubbing his now shoeless foot, showing off his neon green socks. We had almost all of our classes together, and he even invited me to sit with him at lunch. He sat with Kyoya, and a bunch of other second years. Jade sat with us as well. Our highschool life in another country seemed to going so smoothly.
It made me happy inside.
Tamaki blinked and suddenly asked me what question I wasked him again.
Laughing, I asked him if letting out an automatic sweeper counted as cleaning.
"But of course, my good man. But we must do it, as it is our duty as students!" he claimed, jumping into a weird pose. "My father imposed this rule to help us more fortunate elitists learn about hard work! I feel rather refreshed, do you not, Connor?"
I exhaled and hopped off the desk.
"Let's just go. I'm ready to go home." Tamaki stood up, and I had to look up at him slightly. I wasn't short, but man he made me feel so small.
"I'll walk you out Connor!" Tamaki gathered up the sweeper and put it back as I placed our chairs on top of the desk, just like all the other ones, and then he came back. Peaking his head around the entryway corner, Tamaki made a funny face at me. I slung my book bag over my shoulder and then beckoned Tamaki over.
As we traveled through the halls, it was silent. "So, Tama-kun, do you have a middle name?"
Tamaki stopped and put a finger on his chin. "Well, my full name is René Tamaki Richard de Grantaine Suoh."
I grimaced. "So Tamaki is like your middle name? And Richard?"
Tamaki grinned unexpectedly.
"Yes, you could say that. Although, no one calls me René, not anyone. Not my mother, nor father, or grandmother."
I raised my eyebrows. Much like the custom of using last names, not using his first name René seemed strange to me, but I shrugged it off. Maybe he did it to blend in. "So would you want someone to call you René? Or do you prefer Tamaki?"
He tapped his chin, his lips pursing thoughtfully. "I have no idea. No one calls me by my given name, so perhaps I prefer Tamaki?"
Conversation ceased as we made it outside the building. I stepped in front of Tamaki and held my hand out. "What are you doing?" he queried, confusion etched on his features. I noticed that when he talked his eyebrows moved exuberantly, and his eyes looked so deep and wide. They were enchanting.
"I'm gonna make you a deal," I replied. "Since I call you by your middle name, you can call me by mine. It's Ronen. Connor Ronen Seville."
Tamaki pulled me in for a hug. "I love it! But wait! Ronen doesn't fit you; can I call you Ronnie? I always wanted to have a friend named Ronnie!"
I nodded. "Alright. Call me Ronnie."
"Okay. BYE RONNIE!" he yelled as a black limo pulled up, and he stepped in with a grace most men didn't even dream of. He waved to me the entire time his car pulled out. I could only wonder. Was he rich or something? I mean the school was private so I guess he could be a rich kid. He was so different to me. I had never met someone so friendly, or kind, or strange.
Who knew what was in store for our friendship.

When I got home, Jade was siting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee with none other than Candi and Kai.
"What the hell are you two doing here?" I asked, dropping my school bag on the sofa. My voice was venemous. They shouldn't have been here. I what they asked. My time with them was over. Unless...
"We're just taking you to see Chou-san, remember? I talked about it with you on the phone?" Kai said kindly, standing up and waving at Jade.
"We were just chatting with your roommate until you came back. But now that you're here, we're taking you out. Cya, cutie." Candi winked at Jade, who chuckled and took another sip of her cup. She wasn't worried at all about the two devil twins, but I was terrified to go anywhere with them. They were probably planning to kill me now!
"Wait! What're you doing?!" I screamed as the twins approached me.
It wasnt a split second later they wete dragging me out by my arms and legs. I seemed to be sending some serious freaking dejá vu. Next thing I knew I was tied up and thrown into a luxurious limo, pink duck tape over my mouth hole.
I tried to scream the entire ride, but it was no use. No one would hear me, or see me through the tinted windows.
As soon as I resigned to death, a voice called out. My eyes opened slowly as I felt the car stop. Candi stepped out from the drivers seat and ripped open the door, showcasing her leather body suit. Kai giggled and jumped over my I mobile body, her tutu bumping up and down. "We're here," Candi murmured, leaning over me intimately. Her breast pressed up against my chest, and I gasped as she held a long dagger to my throat.
She died the duck tape off my lips and I cried out, tears pricking my eyes. "You bitch," I growled, rubbing my wrists after she untied me. Candi just winked and linked arms with her sister.
"Be a good boy, Connor, or I'll have to cut the pretty right out of your face."
I shivered, and slowly sat up. When I finally got out of the car, I froze midway. The house — no the mansion was huge! There were many white marble pillars leading to the entrance, and a large wooden double door, pointed at the top. The steps leading to said front door were pure marble, and made my beat up loafers look pathetic. As I quickly jogged up the steps, (trying not to fall on my face), I noticed the large silver knockers adorning the entry way. A long pool was to the left of the home, and sakura trees were everywhere, making it rain pink pedals.
Atop the pillars were domes, reminding me much of the Taj Mahal.
Candi and Kai pulled the knocker and banged on the door thrice, the walked in as if they owned the place.
Maybe they did, what did I know?
I was just a little American boy wondering around in a world he doesn't know. I pursed my lips, but then tentatively stepped inside, gawking once again. The inside was like the outside, filled with decorated pillars and granite/marble flooring.
The theme of the house seemed to be white.
"Connor! You're here!"
I turned around as fast as I could, giving myself whiplash, only to stare into forest green irises.
The woman before me was gorgeous. Her eyes were an emerald jade color, with brown, curly hair that framed her cheeks and haloed her forehead. Big studded earring ornamented her ears, and she wore a simple white, sleeveless shirt, showing her stomach. The only other thing she had on was a pair of white flats, and white dress pants.
The woman quickly pulled me in for a kiss, and kissed both of my cheeks, then hugged me, squeezing the air out of my lungs.
I gasped as soon as she let me go, and was met with a carefree smile. "Uh, do I know you?" I asked her. I rubbed my arm, eyes flickering from side to side in fear. What the fuck was going on.
The woman pinched my cheeks. "You're such a cutie. Of course you know me! I'm Chou Tanaki! I called you here today for a special reason so please, follow me."
Chou-san grabbed my hand in a vice grip dragging me into what I assumed would be a torture chamber. She plopped me down on a white leather couch. The woman sat down elegantly next to me, a fire burning in her fire place. Candi and Kai were sprawled on another large white couch across us, a polar bear rug right underneath their feet.
Chou cleared her throat, catching my attention. I nearly jumped as her hands grabbed mine softly. "You're lucky," she finally said. "To be offered a job of my stature, especially being a boy and all."
I cocked my head. "What're you talking about?" I asked.
Chou-san frowned. "Didn't Kai explain? I want you to be my next replacement." I froze in fear. When Kai said that, she wasn't joking.
"Look, Connor, I'm retiring. I'm gonna get my degree in Anthropology, and then I'm planning on going to India with my boyfriend for some serious alone time. I'm done with the modelling life. I need a replacement to be on the next cover of H-Magazine, but I need to make sure I have complete and total control over them."
I stood up. I was getting out of here. I'm not becoming a model, even if I get to be o the cover of magazines, girls galore, and money. I'm just not. Chou seemed crazy, wanting to keep an eye on the next model for God knows what reason.
Chou-san narrowed her eyes and pushed my back into the sofa, pointing one sharp, manicured finger at my chest. "One, you're a fresh never before seen face. You're cute, deal with it. Two, you have very girlish feminine features that are very attractive. Three, you were able to act as me for the night, and that within itself is a feat no ordinary person could pull off — under normal circumstances," she added with a cackle. "Four, you have a nice butt."
I felt my face burn and flush red.
What was with these women and my ass?
"B-but it was a one time thing. Being a model was only so I could I live another day without thing one and two murdering me!" I said, jerking my thumb at the twins.
Chou-san chuckled. "Number five: you have a beautiful face. I really want you to do it because of all these younger, newer models. They're too catty and selfish." Chou brushed her fingers up my chest. I flinched. "You have a nice, easily manipulateable personality. It won't be hard to turn you into the model I need."
I sighed. "First of all, guys can't be pretty."
Chou-san snorted. "Sure. Then explain Andy Biersack."
How does she even know who he is?
"Second, I don't have any modelling background, or anything. It'll be a little fish in the ocean! I am the little fish!" I shouted. "And I don't want to be some puppet in your play for power! Why don't you just do it yourself? Why do you need someone else to take your place!"
Chou-san wrapped an arm around my shoulder as she sat next to me. She looked me straight in the eyes and I was mesmerized by her deep green spheres. Her lips straightened out into a thin line, and I saw her pupils get smaller. I gulped. "Someone who is easily malleable is perfect," Chou whispered, her lips brushing my ear. "I want to keep a hold inside of the model community, without being in it. I need to have people able to do me favors, and other things. I have an agenda, and unfortunately, I can't do it myself or I'll be caught."
My eyes widened. What the hell was she planning? I bit my lip.
"What if I don't accept?" I said. Chou's grin widened, and her eyes got big. Her fingers snapped, and as if magic, Candi and Kai had me against a wall, a blade to my throat and a gun to my temple.
"Connor, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity," Chou purred.
My lips trembled as I heard Kai cock the gun. Tears dribbled down my cheeks as I began to cry. "Let me go!" I cried. "Please I'll do anything! I'll be your model! Just don't kill me!"
I was suddenly tackled by Chou-san, who wrapped her arms around my neck, her chest against my own. My arms wrapped around her somehow, and she rubbedy back as I choked out sobs from my swollen throat. "I didn't want to do that to you, Connor, but you gave me no choice," she whimpered. Pulling back, Chou smiled at me and wiped away my tears.
"Oh this'll be so fun. It'll be like having a little sister!"
I froze.
"What do you mean 'little sister'?" I questioned.
"Well, you'll have to practice putting on girl-"
"What?!" I screamed, jumping away like touching her was fire. "You never said I have to be a girl model. You...you lied to me!"
Chou-san laughed and bopped my nose with her finger. "You're playing my game now, Connor. I never told you what kind of model you were going to be. Now you already agreed, so why don't you follow me into my office to sign the papers?" Her smile, though seemingly sweet, seeped evil. I got shivers down my spine as her thin fingers wrapped around my bicept tightly.
"No way!" I yelled. I scowled and tried to jerk my arm out of her grasp, but Candi was quick to use my other arm to incapacitate me. She twisted it behind my back, making me scream out and fall to my knees.
"Uh, uh, uh, we had an agreement Connor. Besides, I have you on recording."
Chou-san pulled out an old recording device, and pressed the red button, which had my voice repeating: "Please I'll do anything! I'll be your model! Just don't kill me!"
Chou-san smiled mockingly at me.
"You now, by law, have to become my replacement whether or not you want to. I have the world's best lawyers, and I'm not afraid to use...more inhumane methods to get you to do what I want. Now, do we have a deal?" I stared I horror as her personality went full 180, and she smiled at me, but more cruelly. I didn't doubt that she'd do anything to keep me to my word, even if she had to drag me by my bloody skin.
I hesitantly gave her my hand and she shook it.
"Deal," I stuttered, Candi dropping me. My chin hit the wooden flooring, and Chou squated down.
"Great! Now we can finally begin the plan." she giggled and clapped her hands.
I think I just made a deal with a devil.
