Chapter Two

Paul gazed upon his watch on his left wrist and then he looked back up, "Well everyone. I'll see you lads later, I better go find my grandfather." He said as he got up from his seat. "Do you need help?" I offered. Paul smiled down at me and nodded, "Sure! I know he's on this train somewhere." He said as he opened the cabin door and I got up from my seat as well, walking over to him. "I'll help ye two out!" John smiles cheekily as he quickly stood up and walked up close behind me. "Don't forget about us!" Ringo said as him and George got up. George randomly left half of his sandwich on his seat and stood in line with us.

Paul rolled his eyes and smiled to himself as he led the way for us. As we walked in a single line, John always walked so close to me that I could feel his warm breath against my hair. I tried to ignore it as we walked into a dining area of the train and there was Paul's grandfather sitting at a table with a cup of hot coffee in his hand, and a stack of posters with the boys on them. "What are you doing with those posters, grandfather?" Paul asked curiously as he stood behind his grandfather and looked over his shoulder. "Would ye sign this Paul?" His grandfather asked with a huge grin on his face.

"Sure sure." Paul simply said and nodded as I watched him lean over his grandfather, took a sharpie from the table, and then he signed it. "Are you coming back with us?" I asked Paul's grandfather. "Meh, ye guys go. I'll be fine." He smiled. George went over to Paul's grandfather and took his cup, and then he lightly sipped on it. "Ey, ey ey! I want some!" John teased as he shook George's shoulder. Ringo laughed and shook his head as he walked off. I went off to follow Ringo and I heard the others follow along with us. As we walked, Ringo found our cabin and when we went inside, another older gentleman with a bushy mustache was reading a newspaper. Paul and John sat on both sides of him, while I sat in between George and Ringo. Ringo pulled down what appears to be a radio in his hand from up above, and started messing around with it while Paul and John stared at the peculiar man. The man set his newspaper down on his lap and gave me a harsh glare at me, then he did the same thing with  Paul and John. Paul winked at John and smiled as he covered his playful smile with his hand. John winked back at Paul and chuckled until the man finally spoke, "Why are you guys in my cabin? I want to specifically be alone. This is first class." he said sternly. John leaned over to the man and said, "Give us a kiss." Paul laughed and so did the others, even I wanted to giggle along with them. Ringo smiled as he turned on his radio and began jamming to his music. I bobbed my head to the beat of the music and grinned as Ringo smiled wider at me like he was having a good time. Suddenly the man leaned his hand over and turned Ringo's radio off, "And we will have that off as well!" he ordered. "But?" Ringo asked blankly. " We were listening to tha'!" George snarled at the man. "Oh yeah? Is that so? I fought in the war for your sorts. You lads should thank me." the man said in a posh manner while Paul's face was inches away from the man's face as he looked at us as well.

"Yeah sureeee." I said sarcastically. "We fought in the war too and we all wanted to hear the radio, and we have a community and jolly off the workers, and all of tha' good stuff." Paul added on, and sometimes I had no clue what the boys were saying when they talked, so I guess I went along with whatever they said.

"No you haven't! And I suggest you take that damn thing to the corridor or some other part of the train where it obviously belongs." the man shouted and in an instant a bowler hat fell down onto the ground. Paul bent down to pick it up, but the man snatched it and slammed it back on top of the rack. Paul used his index finger and pointed at the man, "Look mister, we paid for our seats too you know. This was our cabin before you got here." he said. Then the man went over to the window and shut the window tight. I jumped a bit from my seat by the way he shut the window in such a harsh manner, "Ey! We would like the window open!" John said as he fluttered his eyelashes. "So what." the man said. "There are five of us here and we would like it open not if it's all the same to you that is." John glared at him. "It isn't. I travel on this train regulary. Twice a week so I have some rights." the man stared back at John. "So have we!" Ringo said across from him. "Let's go ye guys. And knock it off Paul, we can't win with his sort. After all it is his train, isn't it mister?" John said to Paul and then gazed at the man as the man read his newspaper. "Don't take that tone with me young man. Remember, I fought the war for your sort." the man said to John.

"Bet ya sorry you won." Ringo said sarcastically. I giggled and nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I bet you had fun in the war didn't you. That's why you're still here 'cause you haven't done anything except read that newspaper." I said as I pointed at the man's newspaper. "I shall call the guard!" the man shouted and then Paul pointed his index finger at the man once more. "Ah! But what! They don't take kindly to insults you know." Paul smirked. "C'mon everyone! Let's gets some coffee and leave the kettle to lassie!" he chuckled with his cute baby face smile on his face as he got up and Paul suddenly took my hand, pulling me up and led me out the door; alongside with the others. Before we left and went down the hall, the boys had a funny prank to pull on the man.

"Ey, let's show 'im that this cabin sure is his. Shall we?" John smiled cheekily and wiggled his eyebrows. "Good plan I think." George smiled while he showed his vampire like teeth and nodded devilishly. Ringo laughed and nodded excitedly while Paul smiled as well. "What are you guys going to do?" I asked curiously. "Wanna join in the fun, love?" John smirked. "Sure?" I asked. "Ooh! Let's give him funny faces!" Ringo smiled widely. Everyone looked at him and nodded, "Not a bad idea." Paul said. "You can be in the middle, Lilly." George grinned. "Alrigh', Paul on the top, Ringo on the bottom, and I'll squeeze in hehe." John chuckled. "Ready?" Paul asked all of us. We all nodded our heads and out of the blue John yelled, "Hey mister!! Can we have our ball back?!" he said and it was our cue to huddle by the window and made a silly face at the man. The man looked at all of us awkwardly as I stuck my tongue out at him and I felt John's hand around my shoulder, and I was balancing my weight against George's back when I placed my hands on him.

We quickly ran in seperate directions and John randomly had another idea as he ran off, pulling Paul with him. "Where are you two going??" Ringo asked. "Trust me! It'll be good! Get Lilly a bicycle, we will meet ye three outside!" John shouted as him and Paul kept running down the hall. "Outside??? The train is moving though?" I asked curiously to Ringo and George. "His plans are always crazy..." Ringo sighed and shook his head. "C'mon, let's go catch up with the others. I know where the bikes are at." George laughed as he placed his hand on my back and led me to where the train stashed the bikes, and also the luggages.

After we head into the luggage part of the train, there were several bicycles inside a big cage with other luggages. Ringo carefully went inside the cage and pulled out two bicycles. "Who's going to ride?" I asked. "Want to try?" Ringo smiled. "Me???" I asked with sudden fear in my eyes. I was already afraid to think about what coul happen to me if I get out of the train with a bicycle. "Don't worry, it'll be ok." Ringo reassured me as I followed him and George over to a big sliding door. George slid the door open and I watched the tracks move at a slow moving pace. I peeped out the door and noticed John and Paul were already about to jump out of the train. "I'll go." George said bravely as he took one of the bicycles and he tossed the bike out of the train. I couldn't help but to laugh when George would just throw a bicycle out of the train. George tossed the other bike out and then he took my hand, "We're goin' to jump, and don't worry, the train isn't goin' very fast." George smiled. Ringo took my other hand and I heard the train whistle it's horn as the train kept moving. "On three! One. Two...Three!" Ringo said as we all jumped at the same time. I groaned a little to myself in fear as I closed my eyes and jumped. As we jumped, we let go of our hands and we rolled down a small ditch. When I rolled I tried to cover my face with my arms as I unexpectedly hit someone. I braced myself as I placed my hand on their chest and I felt a hand being placed on the top of mine, I suddenly realized that my hand was on Ringo. Ringo's hair was a complete mess with pieces of grass in his hair and his suit was unbuttoned.

Ringo smiled at me and for a breif moment when I gazed into his eyes, I didn't realise how handsome he looked with his new hairstyle, his buttoned up shirt and tie, and casual black suit. He looked perfect and was completely different than he was in the past when we were teenagers. Ringo had a white streak in his hair mainly because of how sick he was all the time, his hair was greased as well, and wore teddy boy clothes everyday. It's no wonder all the girls love him so much and run after him. He has such a sweet personality, very funny, and he's always caring. Ringo's personality will never change since the day I first met him. "Sorry about that Richard, I mean, Rich, no! No! No! I mean, Ringo." I stuttered. Ringo just laughed as he still held my hand in his and rubbed it with his thumb. "You can still call me Richard. I guess when you're around the others, then it's Ringo." he beamed as he helped me get up and brushed some grass off of my arm. I giggled as I helped him take pieces of grass from his hair, and then I heard clickings of some bicycles behind us.

"You guys ready?" George asked curiously. "Yeah!" I smiled excitedly. "Alrigh'! Let's catch up with Paul and John!" George smiled as he got on his bike. I got on my bike as well, and then I looked at Ringo curiously. "Ringo? Are you able to catch up?" I asked Ringo. Ringo just grinned at me and nodded as he put his hands in his pants pockets. "There's John and Paul up there." George pointed at them. I nodded as we head over to them. Once we caught up to John and Paul running, John and Paul started shouting through a window which was probably where the man was. "Mister! 'Ey mister!! Can we please have our ball back??? Come on mister!" John and Paul shouted as Paul pounded on the window while John and Ringo were running along, and George and I rode our bikes.

The prank was really ridiculous, but being with the boys sure made my day more fun than always thinking about finding a way to get a job. The boys were not only funny, but fun to be around and it's very nice to be with Ringo again.
