Chapter Three
After jumping off a train with our bicycles, the boys and I unbelievably managed to get back on the train and into the luggage car. John just tossed the bikes up into the car and he helped us get inside, giving everyone a boost up. It was a bit awkward for me when John lifted me up into the car because his hands were positioned on my hips. The worst part was I think he enjoyed it too. John had a cheeky smile on his face as he jumped into the car last and Paul offered him a hand to get up from the wooden floor. I went to sit down on a upside down bucket and everyone else found a crate or luggage to sit on. George pulled out a deck of cards out of his suit pocket and pushed out a crate in the middle of all five of us. "Cards anyone?" George smiled widely with his vampire like teeth as he set the deck of cards down on the crate. John immediately took some of the cards and the rest joined in. I just sat and watched them play, and occasionally I noticed John cheating as he pulled out a card from his shirt sleeve.
"Why aren't we back at our cabin anyways?" Ringo asked curiously as he set one card down in the middle and Paul swapped cards with him. "Cause do ya want to give that mister a sloppy kiss?" John mocked. Ringo rolled his eyes at him, "No?" He said. "What John's saying, Ringo, is that we'll be thrown out of this train if we go back there. After what we pulled off." Paul chuckled as he tried to hid a big smile on his face. "Snooze ya lose ya guys. I've won." George announced in his thick scouse accent as he lay a deck of aces at them. "How the fuck did ya do that??" John asked as he raised his hands in the air. "And how did ya cheat so badly." George said. I laughed at George's remark and the others couldn't help but to laugh too. "Oh why don't ya buggar off, George" John snickered as he tossed his cards on the crate. John got up and pulled out a silver harmonica out of his pants pocket, then he sat back down. "Ey, why don't we give this beautiful bird a song?" John smiled widely with excitement in his eyes.
Everyone nodded as they searched around for their instruments until they came back, and sat down. "How did you guys find your instruments so fast?" I puzzled. "We're just that good, love. They always put our instruments back here." Paul laughed. I smiled and shook my head as I listened to John play the harmonica.
"I should've known better with a girl like you, this could only happen to me, can't you see? Can't you see? That when I tell you that I love you, oh, you're gonna say you love too. And when I ask you to be mine, you're gonna say you love me too. So, I should've known better with a girl like you if this is love you got to give me more, give me more, give me more."
I smiled as I tapped my foot to the beat of the music and bobbed my head happily. This was my very first time to listen to Ringo play for the first time with his drums. He was pretty good at not only setting up his drums quickly, but he really knew how to play and knew the beats well. Ringo made eye contact with me and grinned as I gave him a sign telling him that I was enjoying myself and he's doing great. Once the song ended, I clapped my hands wildly. No wonder the fans loved these boys so much, not only for their good looks but for their impressive music. "That was fantastic!" I said happily. The boys smiled at me and Ringo blushed as he set his drumsticks down on his drum kit. As soon as they were done playing their song, the train suddenly slowed down to a halt and I heard endless of screaming girls outside. They were so loud that I wanted to wear earplugs, but I don't think that even earplugs could tone the noises down.
Unexpectedly, I heard a familiar voice behind us and I turned around. Brian stood there behind the cage we were in and he held a suitcase in his hand. "Great idea boys. All the fans won't know that you lads are in the luggage car. The limo has just arrived. Let's get going." He said as he entered the cage with us and slid the car open. Brian took a peak outside with his head popping out and he gave us the signal that the close was clear as he waved his hand at us to get going. The Beatles got up and Ringo took my hand as we jumped out of the car and made a run for the limo nearby. The fans immediately caught onto us as they ran this way towards us. Luckily we made it just in time as we went into the car, and slammed the door shut. All the girls crowded the windows all around us with tears rolling down their cheeks and their mascara smeared. I gave them a disgusted look as I turned my head away and tried not to look at them. Some were pretty obnoxious and annoying as we drove off.
