General Obi-Wan Kenobi is dispatched on a rescue mission to recover a captured Jedi Master. It goes flawlessly.

oc name: undecided, but it should be a futuristic name, I don't wanna see no jennifer as a jedi master

time frame: during and after the third movie

other points of interest: 

i watched a signal episode of clone wars with my brothers and i forgot how attractive obi-wan is and that's how this plot happened. also whump. also angst. 

the basic plot of this story follows as such: obi-wan is assigned to rescue a captured jedi master with important intell that could win them the war (I haven't decided what this intell is, hell, you don't have to specify  what it is, the information doesn't even make it back to the jedi counsel.) 

cody is to take his men to the front of the cidadel (tower, base, whatever the hell you want to call it) and give the seperatists some fire, all the while remaining just out of range, enough so they send droids out to deal with them. 

obi-wan is then to get inside, rescue the jedi master, and get out. they randevous somewhere out of range and wait for their shuttle to pick them up, but it's destroyed, leaving them stranded. hence follows most of the story line. 

the rest of the story was mostly just whump and recovery and running from the seperatists. clones die, obi-wan gets injured, the other jedit master gets injured, it's a fun time. 

order 66 is then ordered, and obi-wan is forced to kill the remaining clone and the two of them just deal with that for a while. yoda and organ find them, pick them up, and give them the situation: anakin has joined the dark side, Palpatine is the sith lord, and padme has two kids, wtf do we do with them????

obi-wan and the jedi master take luke to tatooine, and that's where i had the story end. someone please please please write this, because injured obi-wan and comforting obi-wan are my favorites.
