Both Sumer and I walked out of the doctor's cabin and silence consumed us.

Sumer was taking longer breaths trying to control his outburst.

None of us spoke.

Both of us sighed sitting on the iron bench outside nimmi's cabin.

I broke the silence - I am so sorry Sumer!

I know you trusted me with nimmi, but I failed you.

But trust me I had no idea, Naina would act this absurd.

I had no idea, she had a thing for me....believe me I never gave her any wrong signals.. Infact she was never anything more than a family friend.

Sumer spoke - I knew she was upto something, the moment I had seen her back in my farmhouse with you guys.
I never trusted her!
But what was she thinking barging into your office and professing her love after she knew you belonged to someone else!

If she loved you, she would have spoken earlier.

I jerked my head to his side and gritted my teeth.

But I knew I need to shower and change into fresh clothes also I will get a few things for sumer and nimmi as well.

He must be tired too from his long flight. So I left to my apartment, hopefully nimmi would be awake when I return.

Two Hours Later

I reached Hospital only to face a grinning Sumer!

He smirked - Welcome Soldier!

She is Up?? - I asked happily

Hi! How are you feeling??? - I asked sitting beside her bed on a chair

I cleared my throat and began - I am not going anywhere miss!

And by God the flames I saw in her eyes we're enough to burn me alive.
But I composed myself.
As I had to make things right between us.

I held her palm and spoke - Nimmi, you know what I feel about her.

I know, it must not be pleasant for you or for a fact to anybody to watch me in such a compromising position. But trust me I had no fucking idea that she would kiss me like this.

I had no idea, she was coming there!
I was shocked as much as you were!

But I swear upon my mother, she is nothing but a family friend...and besides I didn't kiss her.
And I will talk to her... But first right now, you are my only Priority.

Your hands were on her waist and you both were kissing each other!

If you loved her, why did you get engaged in the first place, han? - she spat

And that triggered me, I stood and held her by her shoulders, trying not to harm her -

I said I did not kiss her!

She was batting her eye lashes not understanding my intentions but I had never been more sure about anything but kissing the hell out of her, right this moment and so I did.

I claimed her rosy lips in an urgent harsh kiss...i didn't know why.... But I wanted to punish her.

I trailed my tongue over her wet lips for entrance but let me tell you all, she is one heck of a stubborn girl.

She didn't open and I was beyond pissed...so I pinched her sides and entered her mouth like a hungry lion, she resisted first but soon we both were drawing our own dose of drugs from each other.

It was so urgent and it left us both bothered.
I don't even know, from where did I gather all that courage.... But i guess the thoughts of her leaving me, had awakened my inner stubborn beast of Atharva.

You are my Home nimmi! - I panted

You have been always been... It's just....I took some time to realise!

And now that I know I am never going to let you go!

Why? - she asked panting

Because I Love You, you idiot! - I shrugged my shoulders

But I was jerked towards her and she placed her lips on mine...and boy she kissed the hell out me!

Gosh! I love my girl in hospital!

Hey! What angry young man?? - I asked faking anger

Of course you are! I travelled so far....away from my family....just for you...Cooked for you... Cleaned.... Washed dishes...still you did not forgive me!

God my Fiance is so heartless! - she rolled her eyes

And we both burst laughing.

A nurse came and warned us to maintain the silence.

So?? - she asked

So??? - I repeated

What's next??? - she asked

We have a wedding to plan!

We both laughed.

Let me ask the doctor if we can take you Home! - I replied smiling

Can I open my virgin eyes? - Sumer entered the room and spoke teasing both of them

Thank goodness, everything is solved!
And I have my nimmi all for myself now!
With this thought I walked out to ask about her discharge. My face was glowing and I was finally Home!
