My heart jumped out when I saw Atharva, hugging that girl!

And mind you a very beautiful girl.

And it's no surprise, she is Naina Talwar.
She was there with them in India too.

But what is she doing here laughing with my Fiance???
Is he dating her???
Oh no! Shut it..I must be imagining things!

I was brought back to my senses by I heard Athrava clearing his throat!

Wait! When did he took her inside our apartment?

He introduced her - Nimmi! I guess You have already met Naina....she is here on a business deal....and gonna stay here for a week.
And you obviously know, she is my friend.

She spoke eyeing me - Oh come on A, just a friend... We are best friends....infact We are childhood friends.
And I am sure, nimmi knows this!

Atharva just nodded!

He just nodded!
Argh!

And I saw a foreign emotion when i saw naina's eyes....shinning with a new emotion when she was drooling over Athrava....i wanted to smack her face!

I smiled and spoke - Hi Naina! What a surprise!
Yes..i have heard about you....um....you just reached...why don't you go get freshened...we will have our breakfast together.

Naina paused and gave me a look but Atharva nudged her go and she obeyed.

Woah! What was that???

I quickly walked towards Atharva and said - A....Atharva am I forgiven??

Listen miss Joshi! Do not create a scene in front of Nains!
She is important...and our guest too..i do not want her to see us fighting.
It's better if we stay away from each other!
And about my forgiveness..... Why does it matter to you?? - he dead panned

I held his hand and spoke - It... Is important to me Athrava!
Why can't you see I am actually feeling guilty for my misbehaviour.

But I was interrupted.... Again Naina... Argh!

I swear, I am gonna kill her!
Can't see respect and give us some privacy!

Before I could say another word, Naina chipped - A, let's go out... And have our breakfast. I have heard a lot about the local food here.

I looked at Atharva hoping that he would deny her but instead he took his hand away from me... I wanted to say many things... But... He left...Of course with his childhood Friend... no no... His Childhood Best Friend!

And on top of that, he held her hand.!

Argh!
Idiot!

Who Is She to take my fiance away??
I wanna strangle her, I swear!

And why do I get a feeling, for her Athrava is more than just friend.

Her behavior towards him was way too friendly.

But I could care less. Because I know Atharva never considered her anything other than his friend.
I have full faith on him!

With no other options left, I resumed to start my day.

The day went by and I had literally no contacts with Atharva... Infact I slept without my dinner.
The only good thing was, Advika had called. I told her about Naina.
And she to me to keep my faith in Atharva which of course I have.

She had said - Naina has always been the happy go lucky friend to Bhai... And she always managed to keep his happiness. But be rest assured Bhabi, Bhai only consider her as a friend nothing more!

So do not worry! - she teased

Do one thing, why don't you take his lunch tomorrow to his place and talk things out.
Naina won't be there! - Advika added

Advi! You are a sweetheart.!
I will talk it out tomorrow! - I chirped

She laughed at the other end and we called it a night.

Next day Atharva had left early but I was in for a surprise....he left me a text :

I have a meeting today, so had to leave early.
See you later!

I was smiling like an idiot...he left me a msg... Of course I was climbing the nine clouds.
He cared.... And may be he is not that angry with me anymore!

Wait till lunch time Mr. Fiance!

I informed at my office that I would be joining them in the second half and with that I began to prepare lunch.

After packing everything, I got ready for our lunch date...!

I wore an Indian outfit for a change and I knew he would like my desi avatar. After applying a little make up, I looked ready to go on our date.

Well, if you are wondering what date....let me tell you....for me it is a lunch date!

I am not letting Naina affect me or my bond with Atharva.!
He is mine!

Reaching his office.... I took a deep breath and twisted the door knob But I regretted the moment....because the scene playing in front of my eyes was so cruel.....Naina was sitting on Atharva's lap and she was.....Naina was kissing him.!

She was kissing my Atharva!

Unknowingly, my hands dropped the lunch and that got their attention....oh scratch that.... It ruined their lovey-dovey moment....my eyes were filled with tears...and my heart crushed into million pieces....again....and then Atharva found me.!

He looked paled.
Of course, he was caught red handed.!

His hands were on her waist and I stumbled.....i don't even have the words to describe what I felt at that moment... It was like someone had slapped me out of my dreams.... And I ran away!

Atharva shouted my name... But I was not ready to face another heart break.!

Was I nothing to him....didn't he even respect our engagement??
He was freaking kissing that Naina girl!

What an idiot I have been to pursue something that was never mine!

How could I be so naive!
My heart had been played Again!

I was running aimlessly on the roads.... My emotions everywhere.....i didn't see anything around.... And suddenly I felt this excruciating horrendous pain shooting through my whole body and the only thing I could understand was that I was slipping in darkness.

But this Darkness was nothing compared to the pain I was feeling due to this heartbreak!

I wanna close my eyes and never open them again!
Angels, please take me away from this heartless world!
