This is my entry to The Styles of Expression Awards moderated by @Rox1968 . It's inspired by the lyrics of How to Save a Life by The Fray. Please watch the YouTube video above prior to reading the story, it will help everything make much more sense. This book is quite different than most of my others. There is no smut, but it's intense, and emotional.

The only warning I will give is that it may be triggering for people who struggle with depression or who suffer from other mental health issues. It has been difficult to write, and at times I procrastinated working on it because it was painful. However, it has been cathartic and I'm hoping it can be for others as well. 

Depending on how well it's received and my continued level of inspiration; I am considering making this a full length story. I'm very connected to the characters considering I've lived through similar circumstances on both sides of the fence.
