Kiara started breathing heavily. Xavier got panicked. He rushed and brought water for her and start making her drink.
"You don't need to force yourself to get  back to the past. If you don't want to say it...don't say anything, but don't hurt yourself." Xavier said carresing her back. He kissed her forehead. Kiara tugged his t shirt and he looked at her to see her make an adorable face. He separated from her and said "what happened?". Kiara didn't say anything to him and pulled his t shirt and got inside it. She then kissed his forehead and made herself comfortable in his lap. Xavier smiled at her antics.
"I am starting with the main part, but people take care of me afterwards." Kiara said smiling at him. Xav nodded and hugged her saying "always"

"Natasha accepted to marry veer when we requested her a lot. She said she wants to give them a chance. Veer's mom died a few years back so he only had his dad. His dad disowned him after hearing about his marriage. None of us ever liked natasha, his father also knew what kind of a person she was. Only veer couldn't understand that, not that we didn't try, he even slapped vyom once because he said natasha was a bitch and would use him. His condition was worsening and we didn't have any other option. And for veer he didn't seem to mind that his father disowned him because he was happy that he is getting married to the love of his life. The marriage happened in a low key function just a normal registered marriage. Time passed slowly veer started detaching himself from us. Lesser hangouts, less dance shows, no more cliff jumping,  no more sharing secrets. They were married for 1.5 years suddenly one week before his death, it seemed that veer wants to send the maximum of his time with all of us, he apologized to his dad and we all spent time just like we used to do before. We even did a dance concert, but who knew that was the last time that THE BRATS were together.
On the day of his death, we had planned a family dinner just on his insistence. He was pestering us from a long time that he wanted to meet everyone like previous times. Even natasha, sheetal and her present husband was invited along with veer and uncle.
Everyone had arrived from office things were getting ready, only natasha, veer, and uncle had not arrived still. I was in my room checking some files for correction. When suddenly I got....I got a phone call" kiara was sobbing hard telling all these . Xavier was trying his best to calm her down. Slowly she got control of herself and continued.

Flashback
"Hello? Kiara Malhotra speaking." Kiara said.
There was a horrible echo of laughter heard. Suddenly a male voice said, "kiara, my dear, your bestie Veer is going to die in 15 mins" the unknown voice said in a low tune.
"What do you mean?" Kiara got up with a jolt. They had many rivals and someone giving a death threat was not something totally unexpected.
"I have sent you a live video, check it yourself." The voice said laughing.
Kiara saw the video of veer driving the car towards there home.
"What type of a joke is this?" Kiara said angrily.
"Its not a joke my dear...that car has a bomb in it. You have 10 mins rush and save your friend."
Kiara ran down the stairs and rushed towards her car ignoring everyone calling her from back.

She started driving like a maniac in the same route which veer was using. After almost 9 minutes veer's car came in her view. She stopped the car at a safe distance and opened her car door and was running towards his car when the bomb exploded.

The car turned upside down catching fire. Kiara was blown out due to the intensity.

She shouted VEEEEEERRRRRRRR.
And ran towards him.
Veer was already half dead with serious burns all over his body.

"Veer, give me your hand. Veer see your champ is here. She will save you. Veer you can't leave me like this." She tried pulling him out of the car. She carefully put his head on her lap and was about to pull him out when severe gun shots were heard.

Veer got shot directly on his heart and lost his life in kiara's lap. "I am sorry, I wish ....I....I lis...tt...en... to   y....ooo..u..." and he breathed his last breath. Kiara was shocked, before she could speak anything another 2 simultaneous gun shots were heard. Kiara was shot in  her back twice. She lost her consciousness there itself.

The family didn't know anything about these, they thought it was an official problem as these happened a lot earlier. They were trying to contact kiara, veer and his father. None of the phones were reachable. After a long time they were informed the news by the hospital authorities.

They were shocked: none could accept the fact that veer was dead, and it was not a normal death but a fucking planned murder. The worst part was kiara was present in the happening and she was shot in the whole fiasco. They ran to the hospital, veers lower body was totally burnt, he had a bullet in his heart. Kiara's condition was critical no one knew where veer's father was.

Everything was a mess. Their happy family was totally devastated, THE BRATS lost their shine while another one was fighting for her life. No one knew what was seen by kiara and what her mental condition was. Doctors informed them that kiara has lost her will power to fight for her life.
Flashback ends...

Xavier was shocked he was crying: his love had suffered so much and he was not there to protect her. Kiara was crying remember that dreadful day that still has a great impact on her present life. "You are the only one to know what happened actually before the death. I couldn't gather the courage to tell it to anyone else." Kiara said wiping her tears. "There are more to this. I will tell you tomorrow."
"Okay" Xavier said nodding. They slept cuddling, the whole night Xavier thought about everyone he got to know, and couldn't get sleep.

Hey guys, the suspense regarding Veer's death has been revealed. I know it's not amazingly written but I hope you liked it. And I could justify the whole of it. Another part of the past is left before we come back to the present. Please leave behind your feedbacks in the comment section though most of you don't do so.
