'STEALING A VALENTINE'...

Ever wondered, why Kongpob was limping when he got the owlet from the forest???

Well, here are the answers...

______________________________________

"Are you the heartbroken one or him?" Marilyn yanked the shot glass out of Oak's hand, glaring at him. Chugging it herself.

"Are you?" Oak glared back, yanking the glass and pouring some more himself, mumbling.

"You are," Wad yelled, downing another glass. "You are. He is. We all are." Wad danced around Marilyn.

"You are drunk." Marilyn slurred, glaring at Wad. Wobbling herself.

Looking at their ever blank faced friend being a completely drunk fool. They were in a club, away from the city. It was small, loud, boozy and with great music. Their semesters were over and they were soon in need of refreshments. And this new location was suddenly discovered and ready to be explored.

"Guys! Make Kong come dance." May yelled over the loud music and blinding lights.

She got no response ofcourse. As she looked at the group enjoying in the corner, huddled around the C shaped couch. She rolled her eyes and walked over. Sitting down and yelling louder for them to hear.

"He won't even talk, like he'd dance." Marilyn took the glass from Oak again, drinking. Ignoring the way Oak whined.

The trio looked to their right at the sulking form, swirling his glass and staring at it. Like the whole world was ending. No, might be even worse. They sighed loudly, being ignored by Kong.

Kong sighed louder, hearing the conversations between his friends. He was thankful for the love and support, so very grateful. Still, he couldn't find that zest in himself.

It's almost been two weeks, from his reconciliation with Arthit. But he didn't return back with Arthit and still stayed back with Dean.

Apparently, Arthit was securing the property from every corner and putting high end security systems. And going to the extent of renovating the whole house.

The reason Kong was still with Dean, even though Arthit wanted to haul Kong up and drag him back home. Arthit's words.

And after the grand take over and return of the heir of Rojnapat Enterprises, Arthit was busier these days. He called and texted, visited whenever he could manage from constant juggling with everything, pampered Kong to no coming back. But still something was too off.

It wasn't the same as staying together. Kong was famous for his infamous overthinking. And he almost felt like they were drifting away.

Before, no matter how busy they'd be... they knew, at the end of the day they'd be together. They had a bond that connected them... Their home.

But it wasn't there anymore. And the fact that Arthit's popularity increased tenfold along with his social media followers, after his take over. Wasn't helping Kong's insecurities.

Arthit never was a big fan of posting anything everything, he still wasn't. But the constant thirst texts, messages, invitations wasn't gone amiss by Kongpob.

Arthit neither checked, nor responded to any of those. Infact their passwords for anything wasn't a secret, they practically used each other's cards. So Kong knew, Arthit was oblivious to those texts and comments and constant pestering for number.

Because he'd be busy with Kongpob those moments, texting or calling. Ignoring everything else. Which made Kong's heart flutter with so much warmth.

But that didn't stop those thoughts. What if Arthit realised one day, that Kong wasn't good enough for him. And he had the whole world chasing after, with thousands of choices to choose from and be with someone much better.

Being away from Arthit and those never-ending thoughts, were eating Kongpob alive. Making him drown more and more in the depths of darkness.

And his friends were being the much needed retreats. Almost dragging him everywhere, from library to rides. They wanted to keep him busy from those episodes.

Kong knew Arthit was giving them constant instructions to keep Kong busy, as cherry on top. Like his friends weren't being enough extra. And all those escapades helped Kongpob to some extent, from his destructive thoughts. Just a little.

But a bar, With so much light and noise. Didn't help.

Kong remembered the fateful night, that changed everything. Arthit's bloodshot, puffy eyes vividly, the hurt and disappointment that flashed through the hazel pairs still fresh in his memories.

He remembered begging Arthit on his knees, yet he left. He could still feel Arthit's lips lingering on his forehead after the soft kiss. And the way all the warmth seeped away as Arthit distanced himself. Even Dean's warm caress couldn't ease his throbbing heart.

Kong took a sip, closing his eyes as the burning liquor slid down. Choking as it didn't overpower or numb the ache in his heart.

He was missing Arthit very badly that day. Arthit was supposed to be with them and it's been so long that Kong went to a club with Arthit. Or any other place, that isn't Dean's house.

If he closed his eyes then, he can clearly see the memories of their dances on the floor, amidst the crowd. The goofy smiles, sneaky touches and Arthit turning blind eye to everything. What went wrong?

Now, Arthit was with his associates from work. Being a CEO and not just Kong's boyfriend, who was a student. And Kong was accompanied with his newly appointed guard Forth, his friends. And Ryan.

Because Arthit didn't trust a bunch of drunk second years with Forth alone. The rest of his friends were busy, so Toota requested Ryan to assist Forth in managing Kong and his friends.

What went wrong?

Arthit barely met Kongpob outside Dean's home these days. Kong missed being in Arthit's arms, when they'd be outside and Arthit would be fawning over him. Kong missed Arthit, so much that it has started stabbing him in the heart. Where was he? Why wasn't he close to Kong?

Kong felt his lips tremble as he put away his glass, not in the mood of doing anything. Let alone be drinking. Arthit was out in a conference and haven't texted or called Kong for the whole day.

He was supposed to be back late and Kong knew Arthit was meeting his friends that night. It was weekend afterall and Arthit needed his friends more than Kong.

Why would he miss Kong, like Kong did anyways? Kong was just a kid, who messed up big time and hurt Arthit.

Why would he miss Kong, when he had the whole world after him. What happened to them?

Kong let out a painful and loud sob, feeling his heart clenching and numbing his left till the tip of his fingers, as he trembled. Now in more sobs. As he dabbed away the corner of his eyes vigorously to keep away his constant tears. Thankful of the darkness and loud music.

The smell of the tee shirt, only making him more miserable. Making him want to curl up in the warmth that emitted this smell. To run in the arms of the owner of this black glove sleeved Henley.

Kongpob was at his limits... And he couldn't pretend to be fine anymore. He cannot do this or take this distance anymore. He was at his limits... and the dam has broken.

Forth kept watching as Kong sniffled and rubbed back his tears. Completely drowning himself in misery, not aware of his surroundings whatsoever. And the way Kong was so nonchalant at the blaring music, smell of sweat and liquor, made Forth think if Kong was even conscious.

The first time he saw Kongpob... all that caught his attention, was Kong's unabashed beauty. Kongpob Sutthiluk is beautiful and there is no denying it. A man too be so gorgeous should be a crime. But apparently Kongpob is a breaker of all rules.

But the more he spent time with Kong, more he knew the kid... he realised how special Kongpob was. And the reason Arthit was so whipped.

He loved being Kong's guard and assistance, even without Arthit's insistance. Not that Arthit had to tell him twice... Forth was ready on one feet anyways.

He downed his glass of beer, putting it away once done. Knowing he'd have to drive them back. One was okay, he had a tolerance. But he needed at least one to be able to round them all up. Soon.

All of this just because of some psycho bitch. Forth wanted another drink but he knew that would be a bad idea. A bad, BAD one. So he replied to the hundreds of texts from someone instead. Being asked every detail about Kongpob and his every move.

"He is crying. And he has finally lost his marbles, congratulations." Forth clicked the send button.

He got no response. And he knew what Arthit would be doing now. Crying himself... Forth has seen his old friend cry enough, when no one would be watching.

Forth sighed, taking a huge gulp of his beer, fixing his gaze upon Kong's face. Who sat on the couch opposite to the bar they were sitting at.

He felt someone sit beside him and turned around, folding his arms on the table, to find Ryan sitting next to him. Forth gave a nod and went back to staring at Kong.

"Not drinking?" Forth asked, still staring at Kong's side face.

"No. We need more than one person to stay sober." Ryan watched over the whole group. Watching the girls along with Oak, and Aim dancing. Or more like falling and then getting back up. Only to fall on someone else.

"Maybe we should head on out."

Forth said, coming to his feet as he watched May fall over some random dude. Spilling his drink all over him. Only to laugh while Aim apologized and shoved her away.

"Mhm." Ryan more than enthusiastically stood up himself.

Forth blinked and watched as Ryan walked briskly towards Kong. He took away the glass Kong was holding. And pulled Kong to his feet, grabbing Kong's hand.

"Let's go back?" Ryan smiled at Kong. "It's late..."

Kong gulped a lump, sniffing and dabbing away his tears and nodded. Ryan sighed, but smiled gently. As Kongpob followed him out, letting himself be dragged out by Ryan.

Forth was already in front of Ryan and Kong. He wasn't letting Kong be away from himself or his eyes.

"I'll take Kong." Forth grabbed Kong's arm.

Ryan looked Forth in the eyes and took Kong to his other side. Giving a small smile. While Kong remained blank, constantly dabbing away his eyes.

"No. You round the rest up." Ryan spoke over the loud noise.

Forth clenched his jaws and straightened in front of Ryan. "He is my responsibility..."

"Mine too..." Ryan almost hid Kong back. "Come on Kongpob."

Kong followed Ryan out, like the robot he had become. Barely caring. Hoping maybe tomorrow they'd leave him alone.

Forth gritted his teeth, watching Kong walking away with Ryan. He slumped his shoulder and sighed next. He looked over at the rest of the gang. Still drinking and falling over everyone. Having the best times of their life. Forth squared his shoulders... Ready to get all of this over with.

"All right fellows... times up... time to head back home..." Forth started ushering them.

"He is right.... Let's go back guys." Aim couldn't agree more. Being still sober.

"Nooo..." Came the unified reply.

Aim and Forth shared a glance. And Forth sighed, staring at the heaven then dropping his gaze. Hating everything for a moment, then he squared his shoulders and marched towards the group.

"Okay that's it." Forth hauled Oak over his shoulder. "Let's go."

Forth grabbed Wad with his other arm and started walking outside. Aim followed as he grabbed around Marilyn, May and Maprang. feeling glad that Praepelin was visiting her family.

Aim and Forth dragged everyone away from the table, ignoring their whine and hits. Spiralling through the sea of dancing, drunk crowd.

Forth let out a loud sigh, hearing Marilyn cussing at him but paid no heed to it. Knowing raised voices would only earn him giggles.

It took him a while to get them all in the car, since they'd run away. And let Forth chase them around. Forth had to throw Oak, Maprang and May in the car with Aim who wasn't drunk. And they were going to the same route.

He went back to Arthit's car, to find Ryan taking the companion seat. While Wad, Marilyn and Kongpob took the backseat. With Kong in the middle. Looking blankly out of the open window...

Forth sighed, making sure the car's locks were set, realising no air conditioning for the ride back. Not that it was needed anyways.

Forth came around the car and slammed the driver side door shut, then gripped the steering wheel tight. Tired from trying to get everyone together.

Giving a tight smile to Ryan who was sitting down at the companion seat and smiling at his phone. Like Forth didn't almost just break every bone in his body dealing with the rest.

He glanced back at Kong who was stuck in the middle between Wad and Marilyn who were all over Kong. Marilyn was laying over Kong's lap, trying to show Wad something on her phone. While Wad was leaning over Kong, breathing down his neck and putting all his weight on him.

Kong continued sitting, restricted from making any movements anyways. Staring out the window, his head fallen back. He tried moving because he couldn't find his arms under Marilyn.

Kong let out a sigh, yanking his hand from under Marilyn and caressed her hair, continuing to stare outside. As Marilyn laughed about something on her phone and started singing along with Wad.

Strangely the sound having no effect on Kong, he just kept remaining blank and narrow. Nothing making sense to him anymore, as he kept looking at the dark, racing scenery. Not even sure where he was. All he felt was a void... Eating and consuming him as a whole.

Ryan kept an eye out for every sign and street. This was a new place, somewhere May and Marilyn had searched up and found.

It was around a rather quiet, quaint area so they all agreed. But now they were regretting it. It was still bright when they arrived at the club, but now that it was dark. They realised they were winding through dark backroads.

"Wait... Did we cross any forest on our way here?" Ryan frowned, staring at the dense woods that ran along the road they were driving through.

"I don't... Think so..." Forth frowned as well, eyeing around. Noticing the woods that they entered.

"The GPS navigation is working up... What the fuck..." Ryan narrowed his gaze at the system and the broken instructions. Taking a glance of Aim's car driving upfront, guiding them

"What do you mean by that?" Forth frowned, leaning closer and found Ryan was right. "You are right... What the fuck."

"What's wrong P'Forth?"

That voice broke Forth's trance, as he looked over, slowing down a little. And stared at Kongpob, who was blinking at him in a cute, confused daze.

"Nothing Kongpob... Rest back... I'll get you back home." Forth smiled assuringly, focusing on the road again.

"Are we lost?" Marilyn jumped to sit. "Oh my god... Are we going to stay stranded? Am I never going to meet my Boo again? Oh God whyyy..."

Ryan was trying to make sense of the dark winding paths, when he jolted hearing Marilyn's wail. And he looked over to find the chaos that was unfolding in the background.

The dark streets were already distracting. So the fact that Forth's attention was divided to Kong and the road, was making Ryan restless.

Ryan felt he should've just drove and sighed, looking back at his phone. Tapping it a few times, tilting his head and shaking his phone slightly. Seeing the thing being turned off. Ryan frowned, he was sure that it was charged.

He looked around again. This was totally a new place for him and their cars being the only vehicles through the long stretch of forest laden winding dark roads from miles. Considering the fact he is here for babysitting mostly. He had to be the responsible one.

"I think we should stop and make sure we are going the right way..." Ryan suggested.

He frowned getting no response and glanced at Forth whose eyes were set on Kong on the rearview.

Ryan looked back at Kong, to find him sitting blankly again. Caressing Marilyn's hairs, as Marilyn was poking Kong's cheek, wailing. While, Wad kept lying his head on Kong's shoulder.

Ryan turned his phone off and then back on, waiting to get back to Toota. They were mid conversation talking about all the things they were gonna do once they got back. Like cuddles...and stuff. But his phone just stopped working, just like that.

Ryan sighed, looking at Forth once then at the road. He was sure, they were lost and he frowned seeing his phone at two percent, when he turned it on again. And he was sure it was fully charged. There was no way.

He put his phone down, now in a little bit panick about their journey back, with keeping up his masculinity. He grabbed Forth's phone next that was laying in the cupholder. He shrugged his shoulders when Forth gave him a look.

"We are clearly lost..." Ryan mumbled and tried to find maps.

Only for Forth's phone to power off. Ryan groaned and looked at Forth who was for once concentrating on the road.

"Did you not charge your phone?"

"What?" Forth frowned, giving a quick glance at Ryan, then looking ahead again. "I did. Wasn't even on it."

"Right. You were staring at something else." Ryan murmured nonchalantly.

"You said something?" Forth frowned.

"Look it's muddy." Marilyn's voice distracted them.

And Ryan looked over to find her sticking her whole head out the window. That was open on her side. She closed her eyes and laughed as the wind blew through her sweaty hair. Feeling fresh with the cool breeze.

"Where? Where?" Wad hurriedly poked his head out of the window on his side. And almost fell out of the window since his whole torso was out.

Luckily, Kongpob was coming out of his daze and starting to make sense of the surrounding. He wasn't much drunk and even if he was, he has easily started to sober up. Straightening, as he pulled Wad in just in time.

"Next time, just let him fall." Ryan groaned, watching Kong rolling up the window on Wad's side.

"Are you okay?" Kong asked, now concerned.

Wad looked at him and nodded blankly. His sober part of the brain was starting to make a little sense, as he started looking around too.

"Where are we?" Wad tried to register the absolutely dark paths.

"That my dear... Is a million dollar question..." Ryan let out a frustrated groan, looking out in the absolute darkness.

The only light being the full moon that peeked through the thick canopy of trees. Their and Aim's car's front and tail lights. Denver is full of tracking trails, but it wasn't any trail that Ryan ever came across.

This place was eerie and gloomy. And Ryan was sure, even if they visited this place in the broad daylight, he'd get the same feeling. So he was no longer ashamed to admit, that he was scared.

"Are we lost P'Forth?" Kong held Marilyn in his arms, away from the open window.

"At this point..." Forth gripped the steering wheel tight. "I'd be lying, if I say that we aren't."

Forth stole glances at the back of Kong's now completely sobered up panicked eyes. Which was looking straight back at him. Though Kong wasn't drunk to begin with. Forth tore his eyes from Kong and looked at Aim's car, which was still rolling ahead, in front of them

"I think we should.... Holy..."

Forth hit the brake abruptly, earning Marilyn's giggles from the back and curses from Ryan who was glaring at him.

"What?!"

"I don't know..." Forth tilted his head, to gesture ahead.

Ryan followed his gaze and found Aim's car stopped in front of theirs.

"What now?" Ryan uttered in confusion.

"I don't know... Lemme go check." Forth mumbled, undoing his seatbelt. "No one moves..."

Forth gave a stern look to the backseat, grateful that he was given nods. Even from the half dazed Marilyn.

He nodded at Ryan and got out. His feet squelched in the muddy ground, as he carefully walked ahead towards Aim's car. To find him already standing by the driver side door.

"What happened?" Forth came to Aim and frowned at him.

"A tree branch..." Aim pointed ahead.

Forth followed Aim's gesture and let out a sigh. There was indeed a huge tree trunk, blocking the way ahead. Visible under the strong headlights of Aim's volvo.

"Maybe we should turn back..." Aim suggested.

Forth looked around and the loud sounds of the night. The eerieness of the dark, still woods, looking like a black veil, even under the moonlight twisted Forth's tummy with an unknown anticipation. Raising the hairs on his body.

The back of his mind was agreeing with Aim and wanting them miles away from the damned place. But the logical one reminded him of the tricky backroad and their chances of getting inside a ditch.

Nope, he wasn't backing away. He can take chance with this cheap version of highway to hell, then the hospital.

"Well... You are right we should." Forth opened his jacket and put it over the bonnet of Aim's car. "But we can't."

Forth started rolling his shirts sleeves and bent down clearly in attempt of moving the trunk. Aim sighed, bunching his full tee shirts sleeves and leaning down next to Forth. Gripping the trunk as well.

"You know people get mugged and killed, with traps..."

"Yeah?" Forth smirked pointing at the gun in his holster. "I'd like to see them try."

"We are screwed aren't we?" Aim mumbled, giving a lift to the trunk. Thankful for the hours he spends in gym.

"Not yet..." Forth gave a wink and went back to tugging the dead trunk.

"Well that makes it so much better..." Aim groaned.

"Need any help?" Ryan asked, appearing on the other side of Forth.

"The more the merrier..." Forth gave another tug, pushing the trunk single handed.

"Man... That's some strength..." Ryan was impressed with Forth's strength. As he and Aim started tugging along.

"Yeah..." Forth breathed out, in between his tugs. "Try working for a psychopath..."

Ryan chuckled and Aim mumbled something about complaining to Arthit. As they pushed and tugged and finally got the trunk out of their way. They huffed and struggled for all the breathes they loosed and rubbed away their sweats.

"That'd do..." Ryan smirked, sharing a high five with Aim.

"Let's get going." Forth smirked, walking back towards the car.

"I am sorry, it's my fault..." Aim looked ashamed, as he looked through the windshield at his scared but smiling encouragingly at him girlfriend. "I should've checked the route better..."

"Hey..." Forth patted Aim's shoulder. "We all are new to these roads... Mistakes happen..."

"Yeah..." Ryan sighed. "Let's focus on getting back now. Okay?"

Kong was restless inside the car, as he hugged Marilyn tight to himself. Thankful that Wad was much sober and back to being his own self. After the much needed splashes of cold water from the bottles in the car.

"I don't like this place..." Wad commented. "It's giving me the creeps."

"Me neither..."

Kong was scared out of wits with the place, with constant goosebumps. And he made sure all the doors and windows were locked, pulling a half asleep Marly closer.

Scared that something will pop out of the darkness and jump at them any moment. The thought and the eerie outlook of the place made him edgy.

"No signal..." Wad groaned under his breathe. "Do you have signal?"

Kong checked his phone in his hand and met Wad's gaze, with wide eyes. Wad gulped a lump, getting the answer and looked around again.

"Shit..." He cried. "I want to be out of here."

Kong couldn't agree more. And the fact that he couldn't see Forth around wasn't helping. He has become very close to Forth, this past few days. And looking at the way Arthit trusted Forth so much, made him trust Forth too. And now that he couldn't see Forth anywhere, he was edgy and restless.

"Where's P'Forth?" Marilyn asked in a small panicked voice. As stiff in Kong's arms, as Kong himself.

Yeah... no matter how much hard time Marly gave Forth. She was kind of fond of him too. So, when the siblings saw Forth coming inside the car and putting the gear in drive. They slumped in relief, giving a short smile at Forth in the rear view mirror.

They continued driving, knowing Aim had taken a wrong turn somewhere. Still following Aim's car. And they were thankfully now driving through a much drier but dusty backroad. Ruining the car to no coming back. Good thing Arthit was a mechanic.

"This is creepy. Why are there no road signs or directions..." Ryan looked around, trying to find any source of light. Not even another car to be seen for the last four miles.

"We are in the middle of the woods..." Forth ducked his head a few times for looking out of the windshield.

"Marly?" Ryan called out.

"Yesssss?" Marilyn asked, looking Ryan's way. Looking more sober and less hazy.

"Is your phone working?" Ryan had already checked Wad's and Kong's.

This was weird. No way all of their phones could be dead. They were busy drinking and dancing in the club, not on their phones much. Then how? And what's wrong with the signal in all their phones.

Marilyn gave her phone to Ryan and went back to hiding against Kong's chest. Tucked in his arms.

"This is weird. Do you know where we are going?" Ryan asked, rubbing his temple.

He wanted to be home. In bed and sleeping. He could've been if they had just gone to a club nearby.

"Not really but we have no choice except to keep driving," Forth leaned back, driving at a steady pace. Thankfully nothing else was in the way, except for Aim's car.

"Are you okay there, Kongpob?" Forth took a glance on the rear view.

"Please take me to P'Arthit..." Kong mumbled, looking out of the window again. "I want to see him. Please..."

Forth clenched his jaws, closing his eyes and gripped on the steering wheel tight.

"I promise..."

Though he had no clue where he was going and which turn to take next. And not even being able to see anything within ten feet made it even better. So much better. But, taking Kongpob back to Arthit is his job and he never failed his job ever.

Kong was silent, not a single word was muttered after that. As he looked around, so were the others. They were driving in a much wider space now. The moonlight now washing over the surroundings. Clearly showing the creepiness of the area.

"Is that a private property?" Ryan ducked his head, looking out of the window on his side.

Forth slowed down and followed Ryan's gaze. And Ryan was right... They can see an old wooden fence, with weeds and overgrown grasses visible under the moonlight.

"Who the fuck stays here?" Ryan frowned.

"I doubt anyone does anymore..." Forth slowly rolled alongside the boundary.

Shivering involuntarily looking at the dark form of what seemed like an old fashioned two storey house. Looking darker than the night itself, even under the silvery moonlight and the strong car lights. Looking like a spot right out of a horror movie.

"You think we can spend the night here... And wait for the morning? I don't want to spend my life stranded..." Ryan suggested.

"Have you lost it?" Forth and Wad snapped together.

"Do you hear something?" Kong whispered, snapping his gaze out of the window.

The whole car fell silent, as if trying to listen. They all turned their heads at Kong unanimously. Giving him a questioning look. Kong looked back out the window, not like he could see anything except for maybe some tree branches.

"Hear what Kongpob?" Forth frowned.

Kong was looking around, gulping down lumps feeling his eyes tearing up. It was impossible, but he was sure he heard that one voice calling to him. It was a breathy whisper... But he can recognise Arthit's voice, even in the crowd.

Forth slowed down when he saw Aim's car parked in front of them and Aim stepping out of the driver side. Ryan and Forth shared a glance, then Forth gazed towards the dark form on Ryan's side. Ryan followed Forth's gaze, letting out a deep sigh. Only for his eyes to go wide.

"Holy shit..." Ryan jolted, grabbing in his chest.

"What?" Marilyn cried, clawing Kong's chest.

"I think I saw a light from the second floor..." Ryan gasped out.

Everyone grew quiet, as they looked at the surrounding. Especially at the house. None of them seemed as drunk anymore.

And indeed there was, what seemed light a flickering yellow light on the second floor. The sight sending simultaneous shudders down each of their spine... The fog that veiled the place, making it seem like a straight out halloween project... A very high end one at that...

The place was broken and looked centuries old. Knowing they could get tetanus from just touching the falling apart thing. They looked at each other warily, knowing there wasn't much human touch to the place in ages.

But they were at an end. Plus they were taught to never judge a book by its cover. Maybe they had new owners and were in the middle of fixing everything. Forth unlocked the door on his side.

"Stay, let me go check." Ryan got out of the car.

Aim followed with Oak attached to his arm. Cheek plastered against Aim's shoulder. And May staggered behind. Being the one least affected.

"My everything hurts. I'm following," Marilyn got out of the car followed by Wad.

Forth went into the back seat, sitting next to Kong. And with the way he was sitting, people would think there was no space.

Ryan tried stopping the rest, but they didn't listen to a single word he said this whole time. So where was the hope they would now?

"You stay here and stretch, I am being serious," Ryan gave them a look and pointed at them, including Aim. "You please watch the rest."

Aim nodded and kept a close eye on the rest. They were all around the car, not wandering much. Just leaning against the car with their eyes closed.

Trying to ignore the nag in the back of their heads. Ryan wanders a little closer to the ajar gate. He turns the flashlight of his phone and shines it towards the house.

To find a house, more well maintained than the gate. If fallen off wooden chunks. And holes in the wall, can be called well maintained. The place was covered in moulds and mosses. The vines of overgrown plants, wrapping the place like someone they hated. And wanted to choke to death.

He saw a little lamp hanging from the ceiling. Must have been the flicker they saw. Ryan frowned... Wondering what kind of person would live here... A part of him wanted to go inside and investigate...

But the saner and much smarter part... Warned him... Not to cross the threshold of the property. So he walked around instead, to investigate. Shining his light around... The weird, untimely fog soon covering him...

It was so cold for the month of June, that Ryan could see his breathes... He did not believe in the supernatural... But the whole aspect of the situation had him gulp lumps. Making him want to turn back and never look behind... But he kept walking around instead...

He didn't know what happened to him, but he kept feeling fascinated... Like a peek at something he never knew could exist... Almost in a trance...

The group saw Ryan walking closer to the property and followed, getting too restless. The nagging only increasing. Kong was getting restless too. He was sure he had heard something.

Heard the voice he so yearned for. But it was impossible. He watched as Ryan kept disappearing in front of his eyes. The fog making things ten times harder. He couldn't see anything, especially sitting in the car.

Kong began to panic as he lost sight of Ryan. He loves Tutah and he knows how hurt he will be if Ryan disappeared... He knows the pain. And in the back of his head, he knows... That something awful would happen, if they didn't stick together with each other.

He grabbed the door handle, ready to jump out. Only to be yanked back in tight arms, up against a hard chest. Not letting him move.

"Let me go... Ryan is disappearing..." Kong cried.

Kong tried to wiggle his way out, losing his strength soon. Screaming at Forth that Ryan disappeared. And that Tutah is waiting and probably worried. Something triggering him very badly.

Forth pushed him down, using all his force to still Kong. "I will go. I'll get them all back."

Kong shook his head, begging he wants to go. And the nag won't stop as the bile rises quickly.

"No... No... Please... I want to come too..." Kong panicked, staring blankly out of the windshield.

"Kongpob..." Forth snapped, cupping Kong's face and making him look his way.

Kong jolted, with ragged breathes as he peered at Forth. Eyes brimming with unshed tears.

"I will get him... Nothing will happen." Forth whispered, looking deep into Kong's eyes. "I promise..."

Kong teared up, nodding. As he choked on his breathes. He held Forth's wrists and choked on his sobs.

"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered, with tears.

Forth sighed closing his eyes. As he kissed Kong's forehead tight and held him close to his chest.

"You will meet him tonight... I promise." He held Kong tight to himself for a moment. Savouring the little piece of heaven he found... Even if for a moment.

He slowly parted, when Kong seemed calm. Only for Forth's breathes to stuck in his throat. Their faces were only an inch away. Eyes fixed on each other. Forth stared at Kong's face, his lips. Then back at his eyes. While Kong kept still, with tears. Gulping down lumps and holding Forth's wrists.

Forth closed his eyes and pushed away. He can't be a douche to the kid right now... Though heavens knew, that he wanted to. Wanted to break every rule there is.

Forth gets out of the car and gently shuts the door, keeping an eye at the nearby surroundings. He walked around and took something out of the dashboard. Coming back to Kongpob again.

"Shoot. If it's not one of us," Forth gave Arthit's gun to Kong. Wrapping Kong's hand around it. Giving an encouraging smile, "don't hesitate."

Kong looked at the gun, then back at Forth. Gulping down lumps.

"Promise me..." Forth glared.

"I promise." Kong nodded, clutching the ammunition tight.

Forth smiled, giving another kiss on Kong's forehead. Shutting the door again. As he walked ahead, pulling out his own gun.

Kong sat still, taking one look at his overall surroundings. He stared at the darkness that Forth walked towards and started praying.

He can see the others ahead. As he kept caressing the thing in his hand. He looked down, staring at the gun. Arthit's gun. His Arthit's gun. The phrase making his heart clench painfully.

Reminding him of all the time they spent together in shooting practice range. And the deep woods behind their house. The time Arthit spent teaching him... Where did those time go?

Kongpob takes in a shaky breath, staring out blankly again. Squirming in his seat as the minutes passed with silence. The atmosphere changing rapidly. So serene and dark all around. The forest eerily and uncharacteristically quite. Making Kong hug the gun and gulp down lumps. As he waited.

He was watching the others around the gate. A little less anxious seeing everyone together. Believing in safety in numbers...

He dabbed his thumb across the gun, turning it around and looking at it. It was all black and shiny. A little old but expensive, with the symbol of Ittikorn ammunition engraved on. It gave him jitters as he thought of the owner of the gun.

The crew was surrounding the gate. Too hesitant to move forward and not wanting to go back as they got this far. They couldn't lie about the jitters they were getting. They never knew they can be so much scared. Considering they weren't alone. Yet feeling cornered, staring blankly at the dark form of the house in front of them.

With a single lantern lit on the second floor.

"What do we do?" Maprang whispered, clutching Forth's arm.

"Nothing... Just head back." Forth gave an assuring squeeze to her clutch on his arm. "Let's move..."

Kong snapped his gaze away from the gun to the opposite side of the car, hearing the warm voice. Kong couldn't help but feel the urge to cry as his eyes teared up almost immediately. This was impossible... Did he hear it right? Was he dreaming?

"Kongpob...." He hears it again.

He looks around frantically, gripping the gun. His already red face, even more flushed now. And whispers back, "P'Arthit?"

Kong waits with bated breaths, his chest squeezing painfully hard. Feeling it so hard to breathe, hearing the soft whisper again. Closing his eyes tight.

"Kongpob...come to me, baby."

Kong looks around through the darkness. He leans back... Though breathless and a little scared. In the back of his mind, he knows... It's impossible for Arthit to be here. Then how...

"Liebchan.... I am right here... Come to me..."

And with that, Kong's resolution and rationality breaks. Making him blind. He grabs the door handle and rush out, stumbling away from the car. Blind to anything else, running to the source of the voice.

The others were further away, looking around for any signs or anything, unaware at the unfolding of events.

"This way... In here Liebchan..."

Kong runs towards the entrance of the house. Clearly hearing the sweet call coming from the property.

"Yes... Just a little more... I am here..."

Kong stops a little away from the gate, looking into the house. Hearing a soft whisper again. It was coming from the house. His P'Arthit was in the house. He holds the gun tight, taking small steps closer.

Stopping at the gate and looking in. The alarms in his head going off, blaring. Telling him to run and never look back. His gut twisting and turning, ready to wretch any moment.

"Come in... I missed you so much..."

Kong nods, with tears in his eyes. As he pushed the gates wide open and runs inside. Only to stop midway through the overgrown driveway.

Kong blinked and frowned, seeing a bigger flicker. As the sight in front of his eyes started peeling off. Making him gasp, as he saw the dark, foggy area turn into a bright and windy place. He knows so well... He missed so much...

Home... Their Home...

Smiling, when he saw Arthit standing on the porch with Buggy. Kissing his head while Buggy yipped and kissed Arthit's nose.

Kong let out a breathy chuckle, looking back at Arthit. Who gave a soft, dimpled smile towards Kong.

"P'Arthit." Kong whispered with a smile. Covering his mouth with glee. As he takes a step towards the house.

He blinked in surprise, feeling something run past him. He looked ahead, feeling his jaws dropping. Looking at a little boy running towards Arthit. A beautiful child.

"Daddy...." The boy squealed, spreading his arms towards Arthit.

Kong gasped as Arthit picked up the little boy that ran to him, giggling and hugging around his neck. While Arthit kept looking right at Kong's very soul.

Kong's breathes shallowed as he watched the dream. He had from the beginning, playing out in front of him. But instead of the warmth... He felt a dread spreading around him. Slowly but steadily consuming him...

Kong watched as Arthit kept standing there, as if waiting for someone. Looking straight into his eyes. But he knew as well that it wasn't him that Arthit waited for. Or wanting. And something told Kongpob. That this wasn't right. This wasn't normal.

Arthit would never just stand there. He'd run to Kong and scoop him up. Carrying him in with a million kisses all over his face. Ensuring Kong was a giggling mess before entering.

He feels himself look back at Arthit with teary eyes, longing for him and his touch. His voice to wash over him like a hot shower on a cold day. But Arthit did nothing of that sort... He just stood... With his eyes so cold. That Kong froze even from the distance.

"P'Arthit..." He heard his own soft cries, as he called out to Arthit in pain.

Taking an unconscious step towards the house, being on the property. And as soon as he takes another step, he freezes. Looking at another person. A woman, coming out of their house. THEIR home.

Freezes more, when the woman turns towards Arthit. Hugging and kissing HIS Arthit. Wrapping her arms around Arthit's shoulders. Arthit wraps one arm around the woman's body. Holding the little boy on the other. Arthit looks away from Kongpob. And kissed back harder.

Kong gasped in for breathes and tried to look, to see who the person was. But nothing. Just a form. Just a form... With striking red hairs.

Kong's lips quivered as he saw Arthit smiling into the kiss. Glancing at him quickly, with a smirk. Almost as if mocking Kongpob. Before giving all his attention back to the figure.

Kong struggled for breathes and looked around, it was a bright day. No matter how much his mind reminded him that it was night. This isn't real. But he couldn't help.

He watches with teary eyes and clenched jaws. As the person adored Arthit and the small boy, even kissing Buggy and holding him tight. As Arthit fawned at her... Looking at her like she is the most beautiful thing in the world.

The sunrays shining down on the handsome face and making Kong's heart race. Making him feel the flutters again after so long.

Kong unconsciously grips the gun tighter with cascading tears. His world stopping at the smirk being thrown his way by Arthit. Who holds around his new family.

"Don't you think I'll look better and do better without you?" Arthit placed a kiss on the other's cheek, smiling at them and caressing their hair. "Look how happy I am without your presence."

Kong chokes on his sobs, finding it hard to breathe or think straight. Stumbling a little as he lost balance, staring at the smirking face. Feeling small even with the distance.

"I didn't even notice you were gone..." Arthit puts the kid down, as the woman holds the kid and Buggy. While Arthit steps down the porch. Slowly walking towards Kong.

"That's How Easily Replaceable You Are."

Kong let the tears glide down, wetting his shirt. Looking at Arthit stepping close towards him. With that bone melting smirk. Only that time, if chilled Kong to the core.

"I love you..." Kongpob whispered in a broken voice. Ready to fall on his knees and beg. Beg to spare his bleeding heart. "Don't do this to me... I love you..."

Arthit clicked his tongue and stuffing his hands in his black jogger pockets. Smiling sweetly at Kongpob, popping his dimples. Looking straight back into Kong's pooling, black eyes.

"Remember... She was ready to die... Or kill for me..." Arthit whispered. "While you can't even keep a small instruction of not opening the door."

"I am sorry..." Kong sobbed. "Please, I am so sorry..."

"Are you?" Arthit tilted his head.

"I am..." Kong rubbed away his tears, uttering with determination. "I really am... I love you... Please..."

"Hmm." Arthit checked him from head to toe. "Do you?"

"I do..." Kong muttered. "Baby you are my life... I love you so much..."

"Then die..." Arthit's smile faltered. As he looked at Kong with dark eyes.

"Wha..." Kong gaped, blinking.

"If you love me...then die." Arthit repeated.

Kong felt his head spin, feeling everything was unreal. His Arthit wouldn't say that. He would kiss him and hug him. And carry him in the palm of his hand. But Kong was too far gone. Too, too far gone.

He took another step, pleading, reaching his arm out. Letting out his sobs. Hearing all the opposite words from the person who was and is Kong's whole world.

"Do you like embarrassing me? Because you are an embarrassment to be with." Arthit pouted, walking around Kongpob.

"Please... Why?" Kong stared at Arthit, as he came and stood in front of him again. Looking at him like he hurt Arthit's eyes.

"Die...die...die." Kong registered the continuous, unified whispers coming from all around him.

The whispers were relentless. And he recalled, the way Arthit kissed the little boy's head and the woman. Recalled how easily he was replaced. And how happy Arthit looked with someone else.

Recalled Arthit whispering, I love yous. Putting salt in Kong's bleeding wound.

Flashes of Arthit kissing and hugging the other running through his head. Making the pain unbearable. He can't imagine his life without Arthit. He can't.

"Can you do it for me?"

Kong opened his eyes, looking at Arthit smiling and cupping Kong's face. Resting their foreheads together.

Kong smiled, nodding his head. Not bothered about a single tear that dropped down his eyes. Arthit asked something from him for the first time. Ofcourse he can.

The disembodied, whispers continued ringing around his head. As he nudged his nose with Arthit's. Not even acknowledging the fact that, Arthit's warm essence of grease and spices... Was now wafting with the gut wrenching stench of rotten meat and spoiled eggs.

"Kill yourself for me, Liebchan..." Arthit whispered, with closed eyes. Continuing to rest their foreheads together. "Kill yourself for me, Love... Join me... I will leave her... Kill yourself and join me... Can you do that?"

"Yes..." Kong whispered with a resigned smile.

Kong raised the gun he was holding. Leveling it to his temple and resting it against himself. Closing his eyes tight. More tears cascading down.

"I can do anything for you... I can kill myself for you..."

"I know, Baboshka..." Arthit gave his  and smile. "I know... Now prove your love to me..."

And that was more than enough for it all to be over for Kongpob. Arthit was his world and without Arthit. There was no existence for Kongpob. He was a no one without Arthit. Nothing.

He put his finger on the trigger, the whispering not dying down. Hearing Arthit's encouraging whispers. And soft chuckles.

"For you..." Kong drew in a breathe and slowly pressed the trigger.

Only for his wrist to be grabbed and his body yanked back. Making him face Forth. Followed by the loud gunshot, that broke the eerie silence that surrounded them. Echoing all over.

Kong snaps out of it, the whispers long gone. Looking at the terrified face of Forth, shaking and tensed.

"What were you doing? Why did you get out of the car?" Forth snapped with wide eyes. Yanking the gun away from Kong.

Kong gasps for all the breaths he misses, looking around. Where was Arthit? Where was their home? What was happening?

He kept looking back, wondering about his whole existence. He looks back at Forth who was still shaking, so afraid of what would've happened if he were a minute later.

"Kongpob Sutthiluk." Forth growled, grabbing Kong's shoulders. As he shook Kong vigorously. Trembling from head to toe himself. "WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU DOING?"

Kongpob flinches, coming to his whole sense. As he pointed towards the house, looking over himself. Only to find the old rickety form. With the small lamp hanging overhead. Rocking back and forth from the slight breeze. Covered in darkness...

Kong gasped, tearing up. Now in sheer terror. Realising he almost killed himself... Realising something was awfully wrong with this place... That he shouldn't be here for another minute.

The others watched the scene from outside, shell shocked to move or make a comment. Completely sobbered up. They had just found Kong missing and looked everywhere. Until Forth saw the whole thing happen. Kong sobbing and ready to pull the trigger.

Forth puts the gun away, sticking it on the pant on his back. Looking at Kong struggling to form words. Completely disoriented and messed.

He gulps a lump and drags Kong out, while Kong keeps looking at the house. Wondering and terrified. What just happened?

"Don't look..." Forth hissed, tugging Kong along.

Kong looked Forth's way, picking up the pace. As they almost reached the gate. He knows better then looking back. Something is definitely wrong with the whole place. He knows it now. He knows they should be far, far away from the place...

Both Kongpob and Forth halt briefly, when they hear a shrill scream echoing from the inside. They share a glance. Hearing Arthit's pained scream calling out for him. Asking for Kong's help.

"P'Forth..." Kongpob met Forth's gaze.

The look telling him everything. Forth had heard it too. Kong trembled and with that Forth scooped him up and rushed towards the gate. Which seemed further and further away than before. Like it was never-ending.

While their friends were screaming for them all to come out of the place. Even the screams kept coming closer and closer. Making Kong hug around Forth's shoulders and hide his face.

But he knows better. He didn't dare look back. As the voice kept calling out to him. To help. Saying he loves Kong. And the screams sent a chill down Kong's back. As Forth ran.

And if it weren't for the adrenaline, Forth was sure they'd both be on the ground. The others were by the gate. All sober and screaming for them to hurry.

Marilyn went ballistic as the seconds passed. While the others couldn't form a voice anymore. Too scared and rigid.

And as Forth almost reached the gate, panting with Kong hugging around his neck, trembling and crying against his chest. Marilyn lets out an ear-shattering scream that had the ability to freeze and break everything.

Forth kept running, knowing he couldn't stop. He was almost at the gate. So close. So close. His heart pounded against his chest, his legs and abdomen cramping up. Determined to make it.

And in pure adrenaline and fear, Forth picks Kong up and throws him. Ready to take the fall if he had too. Letting out a relieved sigh as Ryan came to the rescue and caught Kong in his arms. Falling down in the process.

While Marilyn kept screaming at Forth to run faster. And her morbid screams encouraged Forth to stumble on his feet and keep running, not looking back. Even though he felt breathing down his neck, felt his doom chasing him.

Like he won't make it. He stared at the kids outside... Glad they are okay. And he wanted to be too.

Because Kong seemed scared and to Forth's delight...

"P'FORTH NOOO...." Kong screamed, breaking out of his stupor. "COME BACK..."

Forth ran faster. Knowing he wouldn't make it, if he took a single glance. Knowing some things were better not known or seen.

Ryan held Kong close, scared at how badly he was shaking. Slowly beginning to tremble himself, looking at the thing. That was following Forth.

Never did a single one of them believe in anything beyond human existence. Silly them. There is always more than what the eye can see. Than the head can comprehend.

Oak run to Forth as he almost reached the gate. He stepped a little in and yanked Forth back. Completely in a daze. Not caring of the thing. As he glared, feeling a strange rage.

"IN THE NAME OF GOD... STAY AWAY FROM HIM... LEAVE HIM ALONE..." Oak screamed, pulling the bigger man out. Feeling the strange pull the place held Forth with. "LET HIM GO... HE DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU..."

Oak was replied with a splitting, growling scream. And Oak pulled Forth harder. Not caring if they dislocated anything. They'll take the punch later. There's no way he is letting someone die... No...

Encouraged by Oak's willpower to stand up. They did the one thing everyone tells them to do, when in trouble. Pray.

"LET HIM GO..." They screamed.

Oak yanked Forth out. Surprising everyone with the strength and shut the gate. As Ryan rushed in to hold Forth.

Forth panted, his head resting against Ryan's shoulder, feeling the dread that gripped him... All of them subsiding the moment, as they stepped out of the gate and away from the house.

They all took Forth into their arms, all trembling and crying in fear and relief. Seeing past the gate. Kong pushed away everyone as he throws his arms around Forth's shoulders.

Forth is weak but he holds Kong tight. Closing his eyes, hearing Kong's loud sobs... The rest come back and huddle together again. Looking back towards the house. Feeling everything calm down, the moment they stepped away from it.

"P'Forth..." Kong sobbed, hugging tight around Forth's shoulders, trembling from head to toe. "I was so scared... So scared..."

"I am okay Kongpob... I really am." Forth kissed Kong's head. Holding around the others next. "Thank you..."

"It's still here..." Marilyn let's out a fearful whisper through her clenched jaws. "It's still here... Oh my gosh it's looking at us..."

Forth frowned and looked over, still being huddled by everyone, feeling braver. Finally having the strength to face it...

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Forth screamed. unconsciously hugging everyone he had in his clutches. Very protectively.

The THING was pacing around the gate. Aggravated with being bound by a force. Crying out in pain. Hunched on all its fours. Screeching like a wounded animal.

The silvery moonlight showing its bony skin covered in a grey rag. With wiry hair covering its wrinkled, morphed face. A human face, which seemed to have never seen any form of light... But so rickety and hunched down like a spider. The rag it wore... An old night gown.

It suddenly stopped in front of the gate. Looking straight at them.

With the eyes. The eyes sending their alarms blaring once again. Telling them to not relax yet. Telling them they could be attacked with just the eyes.

It's bright yellow eyes.

Which were the only thing that was visible which shook their very existence to the core. Sobering them all up completely. As they hear the low rumbling hisses coming from the thing.

Giving them flashbacks and goosebumps all over their skins. The hair standing straight. And shivering in the slight breeze which was calming to them. Just moments back.

They stood still, none moving or even breathing. As the thing, they didn't know what to name looked them down.

Kong clawed Forth's lapels and dared to look towards the thing. Gasping when he felt it looking straight into his eyes. Everything fell quite, as they looked at the thing with ragged breathes and thumping hearts. Like sizing each other.

Questioning their perspectives on the real world. Questioning their sanity. Wondering, if this was even true.

Until, It slowly stood on its two hind legs. And they can hear the cracking of bones as it did so, coming to it's full height. Breaking all their stupor. As it's petrifying form, stood against the silvery glow of the moon. They huddled together.

The warmth of their bodies. The chill of the gaze that thing had on them... Assuring them... It was VERY real... And they were experiencing their own kind of nightmare.

It tilted it's head to a side and it's face... Soon breaking in a smile... Making everyone break in silent tears. Not ashamed or surprised, if they found their pants soiled.

But Kongpob was the only one, who remained frozen with cold gasps of breathes. Trembling from head to toe, as he clawed Forth's chest... Feeling it. Feeling the thing's stare, fixed on himself. Just himself. As it looked through Kong's very existence.

While the others felt their chest tightening as they gasped and struggled for breathes.

"Kongpob..." The thing crooned, in a sick imitation of the voice that melted Kongpob. Only having the very opposite effect on him that moment. "My beautiful Kongpob...."

Kong's breathes hitched as he teared up, shaking his head. Wanting for it to stop. To wake up and feel this is just a bad dream. But deep down, he knew this was very real. Very mortifying. But real.

"Come to me, Liebchan..." The thing spoke... In Arthit's deep soothing voice, smiling. The face, to their badluck, visible with the full moon light.

"Come and let me make love to you..." The thing let's out a throaty chuckle. "Come here and let's make babies... Don't you want that my Love? Come to me... Little Butterfly..."

Forth and the others clenched their jaws, only able to hear the hisses the thing let out. Forth almost choking Kongpob in his dead hold, seeing the thing eye Kongpob. Who went so stiff in his arms.

"Oh..." The thing tilted it's head, making a cracking sound, as it stared right into Kong's eyes. "I forgot..."

Kong's breathes hitched and eyes widened, feeling restless all of a sudden.

"You can't make a child..." It whined, in Arthit's voice. Then it leaned forward, opening it's mouth in a snarl. "I forgot... You are pathetic and an embarrassment... Who can't give me anything..."

Then it glared at Kong, it's eyes turning bright... Hazel... Shining through the night. Making Kong gasp and push away, facing towards it.

"Who can't even give me his life..." It sneered, In Arthit's deep voice. But sinister and dark. Then... It laughed at Kong's face... "You are better dead.... My dearest.... Little Liebchan..."

The sound mocking him... As the throaty, rumbling laughter echoed through the woods. The familiar sound piercing through Kong's heart. Instead of warming it. As the sound grew louder and louder...

Kongpob drew in shaky breathes, feeling chagrin rise up his neck. In fear and desperation. As he faced it square in the face, weeping in rage. Being mocked up, with his deepest, darkest desires... His fear... Of not being enough...

And Kongpob lets out a scream. A pained, hurt and frustrated scream. Right at its face.

The thing stops making out any voice for a moment. It's eyes turning back to sinister yellow, as it stares back at Kong again. The place falls quite. The only thing audible now, being their sobs and deep breathes.

But then it screams back.... Right at their faces. Reaching its arms up. Growling at them, ready to pounce.

And the shrill scream breaks their trance. Watching how it came closer and closer to them, towards the shut gate.

They let out profanities and rush back to their cars. Ignoring the deafening screams and cries.

"GO GO GO GO GO GO..."

Not caring who went where, just making sure everyone was inside. As they started the car and reversed their way out. Thankful for getting enough area to turn the car out of the crowded, dark place.

Not a single soul talking, just holding each other and shaking. Still hearing the unearthly voices from behind. The cries of their loved ones. Echoing all through out, as they sped the cars ahead.

The cries of their family and friends. Making them hold each other tighter and close their eyes. Praying louder, praying for it all to stop.

Somehow feeling safer away from the premises of the house. And booking it straight from where they came from. The sounds soon a muffled, distant cry.

Wad finds network on his phone. And he dials Aim's number, who was right behind and put his phone on speaker.

"AIM IS EVERYONE OKAY?" Wad screamed.

"IT'S ME, MAY... WE ARE FINE... P'FORTH... CAN YOU SEE ANY WAY OUT?"

Forth has never been so focused before... He shared a glance with Ryan, who was driving this time. And nods.

"WE WILL FIND IT MAY... EVERYONE IS IN RIGHT?" Ryan looked around. All the while hearing Oak in the background chanting continuous verses.

Wad hears him and soon joins in... He isn't a religious person... But he keeps praying to whoever is listening. Keeping the phone on speaker.

"Keep praying guys..." Forth encourages, soon finding his phone fully charged and with bars.

He turns the GPS navigation of his phone and gives them a way out. A turn just ahead. Looking around to find the streets a little bit more wider and well maintained. And bright with street lights. Then...

They see cars passing by. Ryan shares another glance with Forth and turns the car. Finally getting on a road.

"We made it..." Aim's cry can be heard from the speaker. "Maprang, Oak and May is with me... Are you all in?"

"Yes... P'Forth, P'Ryan, Marilyn and Kongpob is with me... We made it Aim." Wad starts sobbing. "We made it..."

They can soon see the signs for the highway, pressing down on the gas pedal harder and zooming out. Not caring about anything else but to get as far away as they could.

Kong was clinging to Marilyn, both realizing what had happened. And how lucky they were to be alive. And start sobbing louder. Wad hugging around them both. Crying himself.

Kong whispered under his breath. Chanting one name as the others prayed. "Arthit...Arthit...Arthit..."

"What was that?" Ryan cried, banging the steering wheel, shaken to the core too. "What the fuck was that?"

No one replied, not fully understanding what had happened. Yet having no answer.

They sobbed together, panting and sweating. Holding onto each other for dear life. Shivering and drenched in their own tears and sweat.

The rest was a blur. No one comprehended anything as they pulled up into Arthit's driveway. Going to the nearest house they felt safe in.

Stumbling out of the car and rushing to the door, all of them. Just wanting to be in someone's arms. To be told they were safe and it wasn't real. Not caring about facades anymore...

They bang on the door, not minding it's close to midnight. Not even caring to ring the doorbell. Letting out a sob as Arthit yanked open the door. Revealing himself with messy hair, eyebags, in joggers and a loose shirt. Staring at them, and rubbing his eyes.

Kong stared at Arthit blankly, more tears pouring out. The situation almost seeming bizzare to him. He didn't know, if it really happened. Because Arthit was right in front of him... His Arthit... Warm and welcoming. Smelling like grease and spices.

He was so stupid to believe that thing... It didn't even smell like Arthit...

"Kongpob?" Arthit frowned, tilting his head in surprise. Then looked around at the messy, blotched faces. "What's going on?"

Kong whispered something inaudible and fainted. Finally being able to give in.

Arthit's eyes widened as he wrapped his arms around Kong, holding him from falling down. As he dangled in Arthit's arms. Arthit tightened his grip on Kong, pulling him closer. Scared as to why everyone was sobbing and looking so broken.

"Kongpob?" Arthit gently tapped on Kong's face. "Baby?"

He glared at everyone, panting in unknown anticipation and frustration. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?"

Arthit's friends came to the door, hearing the commotion. To find all the surprised and scared faces, looking back aimlessly.

"What happened?" Bright enquired.

That broke everyone's trance. And they ran towards the living room. Each running into someone's arms, sobbing and shaking. They shared a glance and wrapped their arms around the sobbing lot.

Except for Forth, Aim, Oak and Ryan... Who plopped on the sofa... Exhausted beyond repair. Disoriented and still in apprehension about what just happened.

Arthit looked around. Seeing the worried faces of all his friends, holding one of them. Patting their backs and caressing their hair.

Then he looked back at the slumped form in his arms. Arthit scooped Kong up, carrying him inside. He looked at the huddled lot. Thinking he can talk to them later. Then walked into their bedroom that had not been touched since Kong was gone. Still in question as to what actually happened.

It was too cold and too painful for Arthit, to sleep in their bedroom without Kongpob. So he slept over someone else's or went straight to the couch. Only to wake up on the cold floor in the morning.

He laid Kong carefully on the bed, pulling the blanket up. Brushing some of the stray hair aside and leaning his head down. Kissing Kong's forehead gently. He pulled open Kong's shoes and socks, staring at Kong's beautiful face.

No matter covered in sweat and dirt... Hairs all messed up. Just like the others in the living room. Still the most beautiful thing.

Feeling how warm this house seemed instantly... With Kong's presence... Making him smile to himself and kiss Kong's forehead again.

He walked back outside, shutting the door behind gently. He needed some answers. He frowned, watching Marilyn and the others. Even Ryan. Drinking the vodka, straight from the bottle. Sharing them with shaky hands.

Now knowing they weren't drunk. They weren't hallucinating. They saw what they saw. And it was real. All of it was real.

Phana, Tharn, and Bright looked at Arthit. Sharing equally worried stares. Tharn grabbed Marilyn's wrist, taking away the bottle.

"Give it back," Marilyn tried yanking it back, but Phana had already taken it.

Walking back down to the basement and placing everything back where it was. Before they came in delirious and raided Arthit's cabinets.

Wad smiled softly, leaning against the wall as Tutah patted his back. Giving him and Oak water, smiling encouragingly at them.

No one said anything, just comforting their friends. Their family. Knowing something very bad happened, especially seeing Forth so shaken.

Arthit was at a loss... He was now worried sick... Wondering whatever went down... He gulped down a lump, done being a spectator. Standing in the middle of the staircase. And he came down...

Arthit sat Oak and Wad down on the couch, patting their shoulders. He walked over to Forth who was leaning by a nearby wall. Near the staircase. And caressed Forth's shoulder.

"What happened?" Arthit asked gently.

Marilyn and May, who were calmer, started crying. Tightening their grip on Tharn and Bright. While Maprang remained shell shocked. Shaking their heads. Forth takes a swig out of the vodka, he refused to give away to Phana. Staring at nothing in particular.

They all waited patiently. Bright stared at Marilyn who was sobbing, clutching onto Tharn. His eyes teary at the sight. Seeing his sweetheart so frightened. Determined to find out what happened.

He continued caressing May's hair, whispering she was okay. Looking up as a soft voice spoke up.

"The thing. It growled," Oak whispered blankly. "I saw. The thing came at us. It wask. A person? Kong was crying. The house was broken. The gate too. The thing..."

Phana walked closer, fearing Oak would pass out with the way he was trembling and struggling to speak.

Forth takes another swig and meets Ryan's eyes. Both giving a small nod at each other. Telling the rest of them everything. Only scaring the already trembling people more.

Now that they can't lie to themselves. Telling them they were drunk and seeing things. Ryan and Forth were sober. And they saw too, they heard...

Bright tightened his hold on May just like Tharn did with Marilyn. While Arthit held Wad and Oak, too shocked with the story to react with anything.

"It was horrible..." Aim brittled, gruffly rubbing his face, forgetting all his reservations. "So horrible..."

None replying, just comforting and sticking close. Feeling themselves turn cold, all falling quiet. Everyone trying to decipher what happened.... Almost being peaceful, in each other's arms. Needing that quite around, to calm down. Or to even get a grip of everything.

Until a muffled scream echoed, from upstairs.

Arthit bolted upstairs, not giving anyone a second thought. To find Kong throwing his limbs around crying and screaming for whatever to stop.

The rest jumped up, only for Phana to stop them at the stairs. Telling them he'd go. And Arthit's there.

He gives a small smile to everyone and makes his way up. While everyone slumps back into their seats.

"Kong. KONGPOB!" Arthit tried stilling Kong who was sobbing with his eyes shut tight.

"No, no, no, no..." Kong kept whispering, crying. Trying to scramble away from the touch.

"Kong please," Arthit got on the bed, grabbing Kong's wrists and pulling him towards himself. Hugging Kong tight to his chest, caressing the back of Kong's head. Kissing his head.

"Kong..." Sobbing himself. Feeling so helpless seeing the pain etched on Kong's face.

Phana watched, his chest squeezing seeing both of them struggling so much. Both being a sobbing mess. He frowned, his eyes falling on the red swell on Kong's right ankle.

Kong snapped his eyes open, hearing the sobs coming from Arthit. As he gasped for breathes. Feeling the hot tears against his skin. Not the shrill screams. Not the shiver down his spine.

"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered.

Arthit parted and looked down at Kong. Smiling... The beautiful smile... Which always warmed Kong. The warm presence that made Kong feel so blessed... Not the cold, sinister form... Who asked for Kong's life so casually.

"Kong... Hi Baby..." Arthit whispered, with a smile. "Hey sweetheart... Are you hungry?"

Kong sobbed harder as he remembered the exact opposite of those words. It echoing in his head. Arthit blinks in confusion and holds him tight, feeling Kong get lighter. With all the sobs.

"Kongpob." Arthit whispered. "Come back to me... I love you..."

Kong cried out in pain. Scrambling away from Arthit. Hurting his already swelling ankle more. Arthit falls off the bed with the impact, gaping at Kong with wide eyes. Even Phana gaped in surprise.

"No..." Kong held the covers tight against his chest. Staring at Arthit with scared, confronted eyes. "No..."

Arthit shares a glance with Phana. Who keeps gaping at Kongpob. He looks back at Kong's, completely horrified eyes. And quickly comes to his feet again.

"Liebchan..." Arthit tries to cup Kong's face, trying to make Kong look at him.

Only for his hand to be swatted away. As Kong pushed further away on the bed.

"You kissed them." Kong cried in dismay. "You let them kiss you..."

Kongpob moved more away. And puts pressure on his hurt ankle, which he ignored all this while with sheer adrenaline. But now that his high was cooling... He felt the pain, ten folds harsher. As he lets out a painful scream, holding his foot.

While Arthit stared at him terrified. Trembling from the loud painful cries.

"Kong..." Arthit cried with wide eyes. Rushing back towards Kong again.

Kong looks at Arthit, coming close to him and his eyes widened. The memories spiralling in his head again.

"Don't touch me..." Kong hisses in pain and rage. Glaring at Arthit's confronted face.

Arthit clenched his jaws, ofcourse not listening to Kong's warning. As he pushes closer... no matter how much the bloodshot charcoal eyes staring at him, looking so scared and betrayed hurt him, he pushed closer.

Only for Kong to roll down the bed, bolting to the closed bedroom door. Away from Arthit.

Whimpering and crying in pain as he limped. Arthit watched with wide eyes, as Kong struggled towards the door. He gasped with all the thousands of unanswered questions that banged against his head. Especially when his eyes finally fell on the hurt ankle of his lover.

"Get the door Phana..." Arthit ordered.

Phana broke out of his stupor, rushing to hold the door shut. Arthit ran and quickly grabbed Kong. Lifting him on his shoulder. Taking all the jabs and protests to let Kong off.

"A little privacy Pha..." Arthit groaned through his clenched jaws. Walking back towards the bed. Placing Kong back on it.

Phana walked out of the room and closed it behind. Knowing well, it's gonna be a while... Until the door opens again. So he walks downstairs instead.

The others hide their faces, looking away. Hearing the painful screams coming from upstairs,  shivering even with the warmth inside.

"What's wrong?" May mumbled, while Tharn hid her face and rocked her. Shushing her and caressing her hair.

"Kong... Stop it." Arthit hissed through his clenched jaws. "Stop struggling, you will hurt yourself."

"Let go off me..." Kong screamed.

"NO..."

Arthit grabbed Kong's hips when he tries to run off again. And pulls him down, closer to Arthit. Arthit gets Kong under himself and pinned his arms down forcefully over his head.

He looked down at the beautiful face, morphed with so much fear. Sobbing so messily, fighting Arthit. Kong never fought Arthit. And Arthit couldn't take it anymore.

He leaned down and kissed Kong shut. Raging with helplessness. He deepened the kiss, when Kong tried to break free. Continuing to deepen it, until Kong slowly started limping in his ministrations.

He came between Kong's parted knees, keeping Kong hostage. Pouring his all to the kiss, until he was sure to have broken through Kong's fear. Even if a little.

He kissed Kong, kissing away the tears, and cupped his face. Not letting go until Kong calmed down. Shaking in sobs and not protesting.

Arthit parts, feeling Kong mellow. Sighing in relief, to find Kong much calmer... Weeping, as his haunting charcoal eyes... Looked back at Arthit's.

The frustration of the unknown fear and unanswered questions, made Arthit clench his jaws. Looking down at the flushed tear stained face..

"What is... Happening?" Arthit uttered in frustration, gazing deep into Kong's eyes. "What the hell is happening?"

Kongpob didn't reply, as he kept looking at Arthit with constant tears. His face, his warm eyes. Letting the reality soak in on him. That he is back in Arthit's arms. His Arthit.

"Kongpob..." Arthit whispered. "Baby what happened?"

Kong couldn't hold it anymore... He needed to let it all out... Or he will be consumed.

"I saw you...." Kong weeped, slumping on the bed, clawing his knuckles in Arthit's grip. "There... You were kissing... Her... Kissing someone else... Why?"

Arthit gritted his teeth, tilting his head at Kong. Taking ragged breathes in frustration.

"You said you didn't want me... You said I am not worth... You said..."

"There is NO ONE I'd kiss if it's not you..." Arthit growled, coming to his feet, straightening up.

Kong flinched, hugging himself feeling small. As he curls in a ball. Right in the middle of the bed.

"I don't know what fucking thing happened..." Arthit glared, pointing a warning finger at Kongpob. Then bared his teeth in a snarl. "BUT YOU ARE IT FOR ME. YOU HEAR ME?"

"I am sorry..." Kong whispered, hiding his face away. "I am so sorry... Please don't leave me... Please don't let go... Please..."

Arthit ran a frustrated hand through his hairs, closing his eyes. Which welled with angry tears. He gulped down lumps and looked back at the weeping form... In the middle of the bed. Looking broken... So beautifully broken...

And here he was... Trying to save the same person... Pushing him away.... Thinking Kong is safer...

Arthit scoffed sarcastically at himself. He waits for sometimes and draws in breathes, trying to get a grip on his raging self.

He goes over the bed, slowly turning Kong back on his back. Caging Kong under him, on all his four. He leans down and rests their foreheads together.

Kong blinked his eyes open, with soft breathes. Choking on his sobs, as his eyes meet with Arthit's... So close. The hazel depths, so warm and deep... Almost consuming Kong in its wholesome comfort... His Arthit's eyes.

Kong cupped Arthit's face, with trembling hands. Softly weeping and sniffling. Feeling the touch of Arthit's warmth... Rush down his skin. Making all his restlessness break away as well.

"Oon..." Kong mouthed.

"Yes..." Arthit smiled, nudging their noses together.

"My Arthit..." Kong brittled. "Only mine..."

"All yours, Liebchan..." Arthit smiled wider, popping his dimple to its glory. "Now... And forever..."

"All mine..." Kong whimpered, dropping his gaze. "Just mine..."

Arthit sighed, kissing Kong's eyes in reply. Peppering kisses on Kong's whole face next. Letting Kong calm in his touches.

Kong gasps out of the blue, feeling a sharp pain snap through his ankle. He whimpered with the pain as he looked down. Then met Arthit's gaze again, with a teary pout.

"It hurts, P..." Kong cried softly, still cupping Arthit's face. Their foreheads together. Eyes locked with each other. "It hurts so much... Make this stop..."

Arthit looks down at Kong's outstretched body under him. Then back at Kong's beautiful face, morphed in agony...

"I will take all your pains away..." Arthit whispered against Kong's forehead, kissing on it tight.

Kong blushed, looking away, as he clawed Arthit's shoulders. "Promise?"

Arthit turned Kong's face back towards him. And just kissed him deep in reply. Until Kong was a quite, mellowed bundle on their bed.

Arthit hated the fact that they didn't have a bathroom in their room. So he goes downstairs, leaving back Kong to rest. He smiles at the lot, telling them to get comfortable and he will join them soon.

He gets a fresh bathrobe and a bowl full of hot water. And a towel. Going back upstairs. Sharing a glance with Phana and his other friends. Who gives him an assuring nod.

"Please get them something to eat. And there are extra mattresses in the attic." Arthit instructed Tharn.

"On it..." Tharn gave a thumbs up, following Arthit upstairs. Going to Arthit's study room. While Arthit went inside the bedroom, locking the door behind.

Kong was waiting patiently, his eyes glued to the door. Albeit with ragged breathes and constant reminders of the events that happened. Being edgy. Only to slump, once Arthit comes in and locks the door behind.

The next moments, Kong was a blushing mess. As Arthit stripped him naked and cleaned him. His eyes running through each inch of Kong's body. Taking his time in cleaning off the dirt and grime. Changing water twice.

The third time when Arthit came back in, Kong was breathless with the intensity. Which came at him tenfolds stronger. Brushing off the cold stare he was constantly reminded of.

Only this time, he watched, clawing the comforter against his chest. As he took narrow breathes, being naked under the covers. His skin burning with the fire Arthit set on him. With simple touches and stare.

He rippled in anticipation, without even Arthit's touch. As Arthit stood by the bed, looking down at him. Their gazes almost colliding. Kong moaned with a wave of excitement, biting on his lips, never looking away from Arthit's eyes. Letting the dark hazel stare wash down on him.

Making him feel alive with the dark pupils, which took in every inch of his body with passion and lust. The warmth of Arthit's want... Breaking the ice that formed in Kong's body... Moments back.

He put his arms over his head and clawed the pillow, when Arthit put down the bowl over the nightstand. Knowing he can't take it anymore. While Arthit just kept looking at him with unfazed stare.

His misery forgotten. As reality sank on him. Making him want to forget the terrifying things that happened. Make Arthit help him forget.

So he removed the duvet and raised on his elbows. "Please..."

Arthit tilted his head, running a hand through his hairs. Looking down at Kong's beautiful face and dilated pupils. Flushing from head to toe as he gently parted his legs. Welcoming Arthit with his body. His eyes. And the constant ragged breathes that he took.

"Please what?" Arthit smirked.

"Make me yours again..." Kong breathed out with struggle. Throwing his head back, moaning. Feeling his body burst with fireworks, with the charge in the air.

Arthit hissed under his breath, as he pulled open the bedside table's drawer. And pulled out a lube... With something more interesting.

Kong rippled and moaned, throwing his head back. Continuing to claw the pillow. Careful with his swelled feet. Keeping it outstretched on one side.

"Arthit... Please..."

Kong looked down, staring at Arthit coming between his parted legs. Eyes locked with the charcoal pair. He sat on his folded knees, carefully crooking Kong's bruised leg over one of his leg. He took his pillows and put it under Kong's swelled leg. Making sure Kong's feet isn't dangling.

"What scared you so much?" Arthit whispered, pulling open his shirt.

Kong went stiff with the question, as he gulped down lumps. He was acting like none of the things that evening happened...

"Not now..." Kong whispered, with a tired smile, opening his arms. "Please... Just make me yours now... Just bring me back to reality..."

"Your leg needs attention Kongpob..." Arthit kissed Kong's nose tip. "Lemme just..."

"I can take it...." Kongpob uttered breathlessly, cupping Arthit's face. Looking deep into Arthit's eyes. "Baby please..."

Arthit stared at Kong's face for a moment then gave a nod in reply... He leaned down in Kong's arms, very carefully.

And he kept remaining soft, gentle, careful. Making sure, he kept kissing Kong's lips. To take in all of Kong's cries and moans. Cradling Kong's body, assuring him over and over... Until Kong went limp, sweaty and breathless in his arms.

Face morphed in pure bliss. Eyes closed and lips parted for breathes. While Arthit kept staring at the beautiful sight. Feeling the jolting aftershocks under him. And his hairs kept being gripped in Kong's fingers.

He leaned down, kissing Kong's sweat slicked chest. Sniffing on Kong's rosy essence, tracing his nose tip up. Kissing Kong's lips, getting responded with equally gentle touches. Their bodies still connected and burning.

"Are you back to me?" Arthit mouthed against Kong's lips.

Kong blinked his eyes open and met Arthit's stare. He cupped Arthit's face, dabbing his thumbs over his cheeks. His eyes glazing and lips spread in a soft smile.

"Don't you see?" Kongpob brittled, with a broken smile. "Each time you left me alone... Is when... Everything went down..."

Arthit's eyes softened, as he gulped down lumps. Resting their foreheads together. Letting Kong caress his cheeks.

"Don't you see?" Kong choked on his sobs, albeit with a smile. Kissing Arthit's nose tip. "This is my home... Look what happened... When I got pushed out of it..."

Arthit teared up, kissing Kong's forehead. Closing his eyes. Not knowing whether an apology is going to work. So he simply cradled Kong in his arms gently.

"You are my home... Why would you push me away from it?"

Arthit gulped down lumps, kissing Kong's forehead again. "Let me get Phana... You feet is swollen..."

"Why Oon?"

Arthit gently pulled out. Carefully putting Kong's arms over his head. He came down the bed gingerly. Cleaning Kong again.

"Why?" Kong whispered to himself. Letting Arthit handle his limp body. "Your slap didn't hurt me... The way you closing the door on my face did..."

Arthit went stiff, as he helped Kong in a bathrobe. Making him lean back against the headrest of the bed. Arthit sat down on the edge of the bed, next to Kong's legs. Resting his elbows over his parted knees. Facing the door.

"No one was ever able to break my dignity... No matter how hard they tried..." Kong looked over the other direction. "But you stripped me off my everything... And I can't even protest against it..."

Arthit covered his face, hearing closely without response. Each word cutting through his heart.

"I want to P'Arthit... I really want to..." Kong whispered, rubbing away his silent tears. "Stay mad at you... Give you hell... Blame you... Be just another boyfriend. That you see around... But I can't... I am too deeply in love with you for that..."

Arthit choked on his sobs, dropping his head and gripping his hairs tight.

"I know... You were scared that day... But I was too..." Kong continued. "I needed your comfort... Not your rejection Arthit..." Kong's voice shook. "You broke a part in me that day..."

Arthit only sobbed, never raising his head.

"Just the way I broke yours..." Kong drew in a shaky breathe. "I am sorry I did..."

"Baby..." Arthit looked over, staring at Kongpob with his glazy eyes.

"Don't..." Kong requested, meeting Arthit's gaze. "please don't... There's been so much inside me... Just let me vent it out..."

Arthit gulped down another lump and nodded, turning towards Kongpob. Crooking one knee. Letting Kong continue.

"I have been so lost these past few days, P'Arthit..." Kong muttered, never looking away from Arthit's eyes. "So much confused and hurt... Nothing made sense to me anymore... You stole my very grip from my life..."

Arthit kept listening, feeling that piercing pain, course through him.

"You know what happened?" Kong tilted his head.

"Yes..." Arthit nodded eagerly. "Yes... Please tell me..."

"Even I am not sure of what I saw..." Kong hugged himself, feeling the fear creep in... Remembering everything. "It was like a flash of lightning, so fast, so surreal... I didn't even think it was real. But it was... And it shook my core."

Arthit gulped a lump and crawled up. He didn't care if Kong hated him that moment. He just wanted Kong in his arms. So he got behind Kongpob and got him between his parted knees. Kong's back against his chest. As he held around Kong's torso. Kongpob thankfully didn't protest.

"It damaged my way of seeing the world..." Kong whispered, closing his eyes. "I would have never believed something like that was real... No matter how afraid I am of the dark..."

Arthit let out a frustrated sigh... Feeling helpless. He slowly turned Kong's face towards himself and let the charcoal eyes pierce through him...

"What... Happened?" Arthit murmured.

Kong teared up, recalling the events. Still shaken up. "It knew my darkest fear..."

"What did?" Arthit uttered in desperation. "What did Kongpob?"

"It knew... That I am scared... Of you living me one day..." Kong whispered, looking right at Arthit's eyes. "That I am scared of my inability...."

Arthit's jaws dropped as he failed to form words. His hand flinching away from Kong's face.

"You did leave me," Kong brittled, looking into Arthit's eyes.

Arthit clenched his jaws, shaking his head. As he cupped Kong's face again.

"I wanted to protect you," Arthit murmured, kissing Kong's temple. His lips lingering.

"By pushing me away?" Kong smiled bitterly through his tears. "No... You wanted to punish me... To show me, how easily you can walk away... And live by. While I died everyday..."

Arthit closed his eyes, dabbing his thumbs across Kong's face. Taking the piercing stare and the blames.

"You wanted to make me feel... What you supposedly felt... All those years..."

Kong didn't want to say it. He didn't want to hurt Arthit... But he felt so skinned and pained... That he couldn't help it. He knows it wasn't Arthit's fault. He knows Arthit already blames himself everyday... But he couldn't help it.

"I just wanted to keep you safe..."

"Look what happened. Look what happens each time you leave me...thinking it's for the better." Kong scoffed.

His insides screaming at him to shut up... But he couldn't help it. Even when his heart broke, looking at the hurt hazel eyes staring back...

"I am sorry Liebchan. Never again..." Arthit showered Kong with kisses.

"You and I both know, that's not true..." Kong mumbled against Arthit's lips, with the peck. "It's only a matter of time... Before you push away again..."

"I am sorry..." Arthit sobbed. Hugging around Kong's shoulders, hiding his face against Kong's nap. "Please Liebchan... I am so sorry... I was just scared..."

"I was too..." Kong muttered blankly, looking ahead and rubbing back his silent tears.

Hating himself. For feeling pleasure with Arthit's tears. Hating himself for taking Arthit's tears as his relief from all the pain he went through.

"Still want to know what happened?" Kong smirked darkly through his tears.

"No..." Arthit whispered, shaking his head. Hugging tight around Kong's shoulders. "Please no..."

Kong felt the grips on himself coming back... With each cry of Arthit. The more Kongpob knew about the power he held over this man. The more he floated back to reality. Like a sick assurance.

"I will tell you..."

Arthit sobbed shaking his head and hiding his face against Kong's nap. As he held Kong tighter against his chest. Feeling his heart break by the Kong finished, what he had to say.

He hugged Kong tight, kissing his head multiple times when Kong's voice shook as he told Arthit. That HE told Kong to kill himself.

He didn't believe in the afterlife... But he believed that the whole group wouldn't have been affected... If atleast some of the parts wasn't true.

Arthit wasn't a believer but he'll always believe his family. And he knew that something out of this whole story was true. Looking at the way Ryan and Forth stood there, shaken and terrified. Though he still wondered whatever actually happened.

He blamed himself... For everything that happened. He will keep blaming himself, for Kongpob's tears and his pain... Forever.

He slipped out from behind Kong gingerly and helped Kong rest against the headrest. While Kong kept looking away. Instantly missing Arthit's warmth.

Kong scoffed, rubbing away his tears. As he slowly turned his gaze towards Arthit. To find him already looking back, sitting on his folded legs. Next to Kong's outstretched one. Looking at Kong with those expressive, bone melting hazel eyes. His Arthit's eyes. Feeling dreadful again.

"Want to call me crazy and drunk?" Kong muttered, challenging Arthit with chin high. "Enough for you to push me away again?"

Arthit didn't reply, as he kept looking back. And the silence slowly crept a fear in Kong's heart. As he clawed the bedsheet and the fabric on his belly with both his hands. His stance slowly crumbling, as his breathes narrowed.

"If... If you don't believe me..." Kongpob stammered with ragged breathes. Wanting to sound defiant and tough. But the waver in his voice didn't go amiss. "Go... Go ask your precious friends... Because... App... Apparently... You believe them more than me. Ne.. need them more than me..."

Arthit kept remaining blank, staring at Kongpob unfazed. Breaking the last of Kong's rampage. Filling Kong's heart with dread. As he slowly hugged himself, shaking his head.

"I am not crazy, Arthit..." Kong shook his head, whispering. "I know what I saw... I am not crazy. I wasn't even drunk..."

Arthit did not reply and Kong felt himself crumbling, every passing second.

"Are you going to leave me?" Kong straightened, continuing to hug himself. His eyes gushing with hot tears. "Are you pushing me away?"

Arthit remained silent. As Kong felt lightheaded, reaching an arm towards Arthit. Shaking his head.

"I am not leaving..." Kong brittled, continuously shaking his head. Training his teary eyes on Arthit's. "I am not leaving... You can't do this to me... I love you... I love you Arthit... You can't do this to me... I am not..."

"I am sorry..."

Kong choked up on breathes and sobs. His hand dropping on his lap. As he stared the flushing pale face. The warm hazel eyes.

"I am sorry, that I made you feel so lonely and left behind..."

Kong slumped back, struggling for breathes. As he gulped down lumps, trying to catch a hold on his self again.

"I am sorry... That I made you feel unloved..."

Kong listened, slowly going limp. He remained listening to Arthit blankly.

"I am nothing, without you." Arthit smiled. "I would rather burn the whole of humanity, just to be with you... than asking you to kill yourself... You are my everything Kongpob... I love you..."

Kong felt his lips trembling, as he choked on his breathes. Never looking away from Arthit.

"I believe you..." Arthit whispered. "I will believe you to the ends of time... Keep believing you... Even if you ask me to jump off a cliff... I will..."

"Stop it..." Kong shook his head, letting out a painful sob.

Kongpob gasped, with a shudder and skip of Heartbeats. When Arthit took Kong's uninjured foot. Kong stared at the foot Arthit held, then at Arthit's eyes. His breathes narrowing looking at the deep ends of Arthit's eyes. That stared back at him. Making him claw his belly. Shivering with the way his nerves clenched all over.

"I know I can't take back what happened..." Arthit slowly placed Kong's uninjured feet against Arthit's chest. Staring deep into Kong's eyes. "But I can give myself to you... You are my master... I am your slave..."

Kong whimpered, dropping his gaze, as he hugged himself. Feeling his toes curl. His whole body in a maddening frenzy, under Arthit's dark, passionate eyes. The base of his feet feeling the warmth emitting from Arthit's chest. The thumping of Arthit's heart.

"I am yours. Walk all over me, if I hurt you..." Arthit pressed Kong's feet harder into his chest, slowly kissing the tip of Kong's toe. Never once looking away from Kong's eyes. "Kill Me if need be."

"Baby you are so perfect... That I sometimes feel cornered..." Arthit continued. "You are something I don't deserve... Yet so blessed to have found. You are a dream Kongpob... That came true... My own miracle and blessing... You have no idea what you mean to me..."

Kong cried covering his face. Remaining how he was. Feeling awful and loved. Feeling like being pushed in a whirlpool. Not believing whatever happened.

He cried harder, feeling overwhelmed, with the thought that he is back... He is finally back home... Back where his Arthit lives. All the while feeling Arthit's gaze on his self. Burning his skin inside out.

"Never again will you be out of my sight..." Arthit's deep voice. His warm deep voice... Scrubbing away the last traces of the pain that nightmarish voice left on Kong. "I promise you..."

"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered, shaking his head. Never pulling away the hands covering his face. "P..."

"I promise to personally diminish any pain that comes your way..." Arthit uttered with determination. The dark, deep voice making Kong shiver and blush. "I promise Kongpob... Never again, will anyone even think about hurting my precious..."

Kong felt Arthit moving as he sobbed shaking his head, with covered face. Arthit gently placed his feet back. And Kong soon felt him besides. He gasped and jolted, feeling Arthit's warm hands grip on his wrists.

The touch sending tremors down his spine. And he didn't protest when Arthit pried his hands away. Keeping his eyes strictly on his lap.

"Look at me..." Arthit cupped Kong's face.

Kong shook his head in reply. Arthit smiled, gently tilting Kong's head back. Dabbing his thumbs across Kong's tear stained, flushing face. Kong's arms dropped on his lap.

Arthit gently kissed Kong's forehead, muttering. "I am sorry, Liebchan."

Kong bit on his lips and blushed with the warmth that spread through his body. Not having it in him to meet Arthit's gaze.

"I love you..." Arthit whispered against Kong's forehead. "And I promise on your name... Never Again will anyone try separating you from me... Never again will I let anyone harm you..."

Kong's breathes hitched as he gasped and slowly stared at Arthit's face. His penetrating hazel eyes, making Kong gulp down lumps and hug himself.

"I promise..." Arthit repeated with a blank face. "Will you trust me? Please? Forgive your stupid, stupid P'Arthit?"

Kong nodded, sobbing profusely staring back into Arthit's eyes. As he straightened and put his arms around Arthit's neck. Hiding his face in the crook of Arthit's neck. Weeping and sniffling in the warm essence of grease and spices. Slowly drifting back to reality and feeling his nerves calm.

"I love you..." Kong brittled. Hugging tight and crying terribly. "I love you so much... I am sorry about everything... Forgive me..."

"I love you too..." Arthit hugged him tight, closing his eyes. "I love you more than you can imagine sweetheart... Never let anyone tell you otherwise... Tell them proudly... That Arthit is no one, without his Kongpob..."

Phana had already gotten an ice bag, placing it softly against the red swell on Kong's injured feet, checking on it. Arthit paced around, a little further away from the bed, gripping his hairs with one hand. Putting the other fisted on his hip, seething in pure rage.

"How bad is it?" Arthit hissed through his clenched jaws.

"I will recommend an x-ray... Looks like a ligament injury..." Phana sighed,  staring at Kong's face. His eyes all but cast down. "He shouldn't move too much... Or put much stress on it... Or it can get worse..."

"DAMNIT!" Arthit grabbed the bedside lamp and threw it against the wall with a growl.

Phana sighed, seeing the thing shatter in a million little pieces. Then looked at his brother.

"Every single fucking time." Arthit ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

No matter how many times he tried to protect Kong. No matter what he did...they were always back at square one. Back to failing all his promises.

"EVERY FUCKING TIME. DAMNIT. DAMNIT. DAMNIT." he snarled, frustrated at everything. Gripping his hairs tight on his head with closed eyes.

Kong jolted, feeling Arthit's presence. His terrifying presence, which Kongpob didn't feel in a while. Feeling Arthit's anger. And he felt safe... So safe... Infact he slumped hugging himself, feeling warm. Not the dreadful chill that surrounded him... By the most horrid imitator of his sweet, warm lover.

Kongpob jolted again, hearing something else crashing against the opposite wall. Followed by Arthit's frustrated grunt. But he didn't dare look up from his lap, keeping his head hung. Gulping continuous nervous lumps.

"Arthit, calm down," Phana asked, placing a soothing hand over Kong's uninjured feet. "Get me a compression bandage... Stop scaring him."

Arthit looked back at Kong who was looking strictly on his lap. Without once raising his eyes. Arthit closed his eyes and turned away, walking out of the room.

"Don't mind him Kongpob..." Phana smiled at Kong's downtrodden face. "He has been a mess himself..."

Kong didn't reply. Or look up. Simply nodding in response.

"Take care of him... And this relationship you two have... Okay?"

Kong looked up, meeting Phana's gaze. Smiling gently through his tear stained face.

"Don't let anyone. Anything. Get between you two..." Phana smiled back. "He has been through a lot... Changed a lot... This is not the brother I know... Because I don't know this Arthit..."

"What do you mean?" Kong whispered, tilting his head.

"My brother... Or the Arthit I knew once... Is a sweet cuddly boy. Naive and trusting. So looking at him like this..." Phana stared at the closed door of the room. "This broody conqueror with missions... Fills me with pride and sadness at the same time..."

Kong followed Phana's gaze, then looked back at Phana's sideface. Feeling a dive of butterflies, hearing a small part of Arthit.

"You would have loved that Arthit too... He was the sweetest thing there is..." Phana smiled longingly, then looked back at Kong. "But he seems happy again. A little... If not all... Like himself. "

Kong didn't know what to answer to that. So he kept staring back, waiting for Arthit's older brother to finish whatever he was saying.

"Promise me... You won't let anything change him this time..." Phana whispered, pleadingly. Holding Kong's hand tight over Kong's lap. "Promise me, that you will protect my brother..."

Kong gulped a painful lump and nodded instantly. Failing to form any word, holding Phana's hand tight in reply.

"Thank you..." Phana smiled gratefully. Then cleared his throat, rubbing a hand down his face to brush away the trace of unshed tears. "Thank you Kongpob..."

Arthit walked in, before Kong could reply. Holding a first aid box. Stopping abruptly, looking at the solemn faces of his family. Frowning questionably.

"What happened?" Arthit asked, breaking the silence.

"I was just teaching him tricks for keeping you in toes..." Phana replied with a smile. Reaching his hand out for the box.

Arthit rolled his eyes and walked over to Kong, passing the box to Phana. He sat on the bed slowly and helped Kong lie down. Moving diligently.

All the while Kongpob stared unfazed at his face. Feeling a small smile creep on his face. After so long. As Arthit tucked him gently in the covers. While Phana treated Kong's wounds.

"Go to sleep, baby..." Arthit whispered against Kong's forehead, kissing there gently. "I am right here... You dont need to be scared anymore..."

Kong didn't reply, slowly closing his eyes. Feeling himself drift off, as the exhaustion finally caught up. Safe and home. As he held the comforter over his chest, slowly falling into deep slumber. Feeling Arthit's continuous gaze on his face...

"Long night?" Dean walked in with Buggy in his basket. Letting the small one sprint upstairs, whining for Kong.

Dean was worried sick about Kong's disappearance. More worried after whatever, Arthit informed him about Kongpob's misadventure. He was confused beyond repair.

But now, looking at Arthit's disheveled bed hair and wrinkled pyajama and tee. Eyes baggy and tired. He understood, something out of the whole ordeal must be true. Thankfully, he was able to keep his pregnant wife home.

"Something like that," Arthit massaged his temples, blinking the sleepiness away from his eyes.

It was a long night. One person would keep waking up, disturbed from nightmares. Except Kong, who thankfully didn't move once. Too exhausted from everything. Or maybe because Arthit was his mattress for the whole night.

"Where is he?" Dean walked in, closing the door behind.

Arthit took Dean upstairs, opening the door. Dean walked in, followed by Arthit. Who leaned against the doorframe, giving Dean all the time. Buggy was already up the bed with Dean's help... Cooing lightly in the crook of Kong's neck. Arthit rubbed his own stiff shoulder and continued watching.

Dean smiled, staring at Kong's sleeping, serene face. He sat besides Kong, crooking one leg and caressed his head. He leaned down and placed a small kiss on Kong's forehead.

"Let's not tell Kerkklai..." Arthit rubbed his temple.

Arthit told Dean everything one more time. Now detailed, after Kongpob told him and Dean's gobsmacked face wasn't helping their situation.

"Something really freaked them out. And it's real," Arthit muttered.

"A ghost?" Dean raised his brow blankly. "Arthit..."

"I don't care if it sounds bizzare Dean..." Arthit glared. "But I believe what Kongpob has to say... Every word... I have never seen him so freaked out before..."

Dean clenched his jaws and nodded after sometime. "Fine... I am just glad he is safe and with you... Let's focus on healing him now... Him and Marly and everyone else... I know a good..."

"Healing?" Arthit stared at Kong's hurt ankle that was out of the blanket, exposed.

Dean followed Arthit's gaze and softly touched over the bandaged foot. "Yes... healing..."

"You know, when I was young... I would be so scared of the monster in my closet..." Arthit kept his gaze trained on Kong's injured feet. Slowly turning his gaze at Dean. "And you know, what my father did? For healing me from the fear?"

Dean kept staring back, waiting for Arthit's answer.

"He promised me... That he will never let any monster ever touch me..." Arthit muttered. "And one night, he took a baseball bat. Beating the hell out of the space in the closet. Destroying every piece of items in the process... Screaming that he will kill it, if it ever tried scaring me again..."

Dean clenched his jaws, knowing a bit of wherever this was going. And he didn't like it.

"Arthit..." Dean muttered.

"From that day..." Arthit cut him in between, looking square into Dean's eyes. "I was never scared of anything anymore... That's healing for me Dean..."

"And I promised Kongpob too... of personally removing all his fears to heal him."

Dean sighed, knowing Arthit will pull another reckless stunt soon. So he tried, putting some sense into Arthit's rock head.

"Whatever you are planning to do..."

Both fell silent as Kong shifted, slowly turning and hugging around Dean's waist. Feeling the warmth next to him. He blinked his eyes open, instantly recognising Dean's face peering down at him. Kong gave a sleepy smile.

"Good morning..." Kong croaked.

"Hello, button," Dean smiled, hugging him and placing a kiss on Kong's head.

Kong blinked again, slowly recalling everything. And he snapped out of his sleepy haze in a flash. He jolted upright instantly and moved away from Dean.

He held the blanket tight over himself, leaning against the headboard. Giving a betrayed look to the both of them. Glaring and wrapping the warm blanket tighter around. Finally setting his gaze on the hazel ones.

"You promised..." Kong looked at Arthit with glistening eyes. "Why are you pushing me away?"

He turned toward Dean, his face determined. "I am not coming."

He shook his head, sighing in pain as his ankle throbbed from moving it around so much. But he didn't care. All the while Arthit kept observing him quietly, leaning against the doorframe.

"I am not leaving my home..."

Dean smiled and slowly got off the bed, walking away. He smiled reassuringly at Kong. "I don't think he'll give you to me, even if I fight now Button."

Kong stared at Arthit. And instantly dropped his gaze, looking at the dark hazel stare trained on him. Observing him so keenly that Kongpob felt his insides melting. He clawed the blanket, gulping down lumps.

"I won't go..." Kong whispered, gazing up again. Collecting his all to hold Arthit's stare. "You cant make me..."

Kongpob stopped mid sentence, when Arthit straightened and started coming closer, walking past Dean. He gulped down lumps and struggled to hold Arthit's gaze. Albeit with ragged breathes.

Gasping when Arthit cupped his face, crooking one leg over the bed. As he leaned over, resting their foreheads together. Looking deep into Kong's eyes.

"Remember my promise?" Arthit smiled, dabbing his thumbs over Kong's cheeks. "So trust me..."

Kong looked at him, he remembered every word Arthit told him last night. The memories rattling him and making him blush. But he didn't want to give in so easily. Not after all the drama.

"But you did push me..." Kong glared and threw the blankets off to the side. Not making eye contact as he stepped down the bed.

Arthit closed his eyes, shaking his head.. looking at Kongpob being back to his usual self. The sight making him smile. He straightened and looked over.

"Let me-" Arthit tried helping.

But got his hand swatted, with a glare as Kongpob limped away. Taking quite some time as he finally reached the door. Even ignoring Dean. Buggy all the while walking besides Kongpob, encouraging him.

Dean gave a worried glance at Arthit. Who smiled back gently in assurance, following Kong out. To find him at the top of the staircase, clearly contemplating on how to descend it. Arthit smiled again, walking close to Kong.

Kong yelled softly, as he was scooped up all of a sudden. He clutched tight onto Arthit's shoulder, blinking at him. Ignoring the pain throbbing on his wrist. While Arthit carried him down. Carefully.

Arthit looked at him when they reached the bathroom door. As he gently put Kong down. Holding around his waist. Kong wrapped his arms around Arthit's shoulders. Lost in the hazel eyes. Their faces inches away and noses brushing. Feeling the tingling warmth spread through him. Making him blush.

"If you lock the door from inside..." Arthit whispered against Kong's nose tip. "I will break it... okay Love?"

Kong whimpered, dropping his gaze. Struggling to hold his defiance. Albeit nodding.

Dean followed behind the two love birds, snickering. Actually enjoying their banter.

"Good..." Arthit smiled, helping Kong inside the bathroom. "Or..."

Kong looked up holding the door. His heart fluttering looking at the mischievous glint in Arthit's eyes. Making him gap and gulp down lumps.

"Or what?" Kong tilted his head.

"Lemme just come in with you..." Arthit smirked, batting his lashes with tilted head. Stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Can I come in Liebchan?"

Kong drew in a breath, blushing red with the knowledge that his brother can very much hear this shameless man. So he glared, slamming the door right at Arthit's face, almost. Very close to breaking Arthit's nose.

Arthit leaned back, snorting and shaking his head. And Dean couldn't control it anymore, as he let out a chuckle at Arthit's face.

"I am just outside, Babe..." Arthit called out. "Call me INSIDE... if you need anything..."

"Screw you, Arthit Rojnapat..." Came the muffled reply.

Arthit and Dean chuckled, sharing amused glances. They walked towards the kitchen. Arthit's other friends were gone. Right at the break of dawn. Refusing to have breakfast. Thankfully, Arthit came downstairs. Or they would've left without informing.

Arthit set to make breakfast and prepared the coffee. While Dean sat around the breakfast counter. Going through his phone. Soon receiving a cup of coffee from Arthit. Which he was thankful for. He just brushed his teeth and freshened up before rushing here. He didn't even change his night dress. So a coffee is much appreciated.

He smiled at Arthit. And they fell in comfortable silence again. Going back to their works. Until Forth walked in the through the front door. All freshened up and ready for a new day.

Dean smiled at him, as he came and sat besides Dean on the counter. Getting a cup of coffee from Arthit too. He had his breakfast. But he won't deny the coffee.

"What did you see Forth?" Dean asked, bringing the hot cup of coffee to his lips, blowing on it a little before sipping.

"A figure...on fours..." Forth shivered, remembering. "Honestly I am still in denial."

"You weren't drunk right?"

Forth gave an unamused glance at Dean. His gaze telling everything to Dean. As they kept gazing at each other.

They heard the bathroom door open and Forth looked over, breaking his gaze from Dean. Followed by Dean and Arthit's stare.

Kong leaned out from the corner, taking support of the wall. Wearing a bathrobe, his damp hairs falling over his forehead. Forth rushed out, before anyone could.

"Good morning..."

Kong blinked, hearing the voice. His face instantly breaking in a smile, looking at Forth walking towards him.

All these days, Forth has been a constant presence in Kong's life. They have developed a bond. And after last night. It only felt stronger. As Kong's heart bloomed with thankfulness.

"Hi P'Forth..." Kong stretched an arm towards Forth, with a soft smile. "Good morning..."

"Hi..." Forth held Kong's hand. Wrapping his other arm around Kong's back, helping him to the table. "How is your foot?"

"Hurts," Kong smiled at Forth graciously. As all his weight was taken by Forth. While he limped towards the table. "What about you? You should have taken a leave today... Why did you come?"

"I am fine..." Forth chuckled, helping Kong take a seat around the breakfast counter. "Thank you for your concern though..."

Kong nodded, taking a seat and ignoring the dark stare on his face. Making Forth sit down next to him. He didn't care about the fact that Arthit is possessive. Arthit was the one to send Forth in his place. So he better accept their friendship too.

While Dean watched his brother. Then at Arthit. And the way Arthit was clenching his jaws looking at Kongpob and Forth... Dean knew, things can go bad.

Kong served a plate for Forth and Dean. Serving the pancakes next, with strawberry syrup. Pretending, Arthit didn't exist... He knows he is playing with fire. He knows Arthit is raging... But he didn't care... Arthit was the one who pushed him away...

"Have your breakfast..." Kong smiled sweetly at Dean and Forth.

"Let me serve for you..." Forth proceeded.

"Forth," Arthit's cold voice broke everyone out of their trance.

While Forth immediately stopped, whatever he was doing. Staring at Arthit.

"Come outside... I need to have some words..."

Forth gulped a lump, ready to follow Arthit out of the room. Nodding in reply.

"It can wait..." Kong intervened, putting a hand on Forth's forearm. Continuing to smile sweetly at Forth. "Finish your breakfast... You have been the one to have breakfast with me these past days anyways... Stay..."

Forth gaped at Kong. Who gave him an encouraging smile. Refusing to acknowledge Arthit's presence or anger. Even Arthit's stare on his face. As he smiled encouragingly at Forth.

Kongpob jolted, but held his smile. When Arthit tossed the apron on the ground, with a low growl. Storming off the kitchen next.

Dean cleared his throat with the awkward silence next. While Forth looked between the main door and Kongpob. Finally sighing and coming to his feet. Making a decision. As he followed Arthit out.

Kong slumped instantly with a sigh. As he cupped his face, propping his elbows over the kitchen counter.

Dean observed his brother for a moment. Slowly shaking his head and taking the seat next to Kong.

"That wasn't smart Kongpob..." Dean muttered. "Insulting him in front of his employee wasn't smart..."

Kong felt like drowning himself, feeling the embarassing chagrin that curled his toes. He put his hands down and stared at the table. Shamefully.

He knows, he was in the wrong. But he couldn't help it. He felt so jittery and agitated, that he couldn't help it. He shouldn't have insulted Arthit like that... It wasn't Arthit's fault... Why did he...

Kong closed his eyes, letting the angry tears drop off. On the counter. Without making any effort to rub them. Continuosly clenching and unclenching his jaws, staring blankly.

"Here, eat." Dean served Kong a huge plate of eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Pouring a big cup of coffee and slid his medicine towards him. "Arthit prepared them for you... Before you came... Here's your chocolate syrup. Just the way you like..."

Kong blinked and rubbed his tears gruffly, taking the plate. And beginning to eat it... While Dean kept looking at his sideface. Sighing again, caressing his head.

"Don't be too harsh on him..." Dean smiled. "Remember what I told you? Always be kind to people... You don't know what they are going through..."

Kong nodded again, taking a big bite of his pancake. Trying hard to hold his trembling lips and angry tears. Finally giving up and just stuffing his mouth with weeps.

"Sorry about yesterday..." Kong uttered with a hoarse voice.

"It's okay... You and Marilyn are okay... That's all that matters..."

"Do you trust me?" Kong stared at Dean. "I wasn't drunk Dean... I know what I saw..."

"I trust you..." Dean smiled, caressing Kong's head. "I always trust you Button."

"I want every information about that property you can find. And make it fast," Arthit instructed, taking a huge whip of his cigarette. Staring blankly at the forest on their backyard. "Including its ownership and history..."

Forth sighed, staring at Arthit's back. Giving a nod and pulling his phone out. Walking away. Not daring to go inside or even think about the pancake.

Arthit kept smoking for a good while, staring at nothing in particular. Sitting on the backyard stairs. Collecting himself as much as he could, before he walked inside.

Kongpob was sitting on the couch with restless breathes, looking at every entrance. Caressing Buggy on his lap. Arthit didn't come inside for an hour and Kongpob hated himself for it.

Dean was gone, after helping him settle down on the couch. It was Saturday. And Kongpob couldn't help the fluttering butterflies, with the thought that he and Arthit are finally together. And they can spend all the day with each other.

Though Kongpob was in one of his revolting moods. And was dead set on giving Arthit hell. He will still enjoy it.

He perked up, snapping his gaze over his shoulder. When he heard the backdoor open and shut. Soon enough, Arthit came back. Stopping for a moment, as their gazes met.

Both spiralling with warmth of their content. Of finally being in each other's company. Knowing well... Now that they are together... They will what matter to them both. The whole world didn't matter anymore.

Kong was the first one to look away. Trying to hold his thudding heart and deep blush. His belly rippling with butterflies as he gulped down lumps and let Buggy down.

He closed his eyes, when he felt Arthit walking closer to him. Drawing in a breath and opening them again. Watching as Arthit came and sat on the floor in front of him. Crossing his legs.

Their eyes locked into each other. And they just kept staring without any notice of anything. Getting lost in the depths... Slowly forgetting everything apart from their warm feelings... That melted their insides. Sending their minds into a soothing calm.

Until Arthit broke in a smile and Kong raised both his hands at the same time. Arthit remained smiling, his eyes fixed on Kong's face... While Kong caressed through Arthit's hairs. Fixing them, then dabbing his thumbs over Arthit's temples gently. Deciding on fixing Arthit's eyes bags and dark circles soon.

"I got us an appointment with the doctor..." Arthit closed his eyes, feeling himself lulling with Kong's ministrations.

Kong didn't reply.

"Are you mad at me?"

Kong didn't reply. Feeling himself melt. Looking at Arthit's sullen face. Biting his inner cheek hard to stop himself from smiling. As he continued his ministrations.

"I love you..." Arthit whispered.

Kong's breathes hitched and he cleared his throat. Pulling his hands back, ignoring Arthit's puppy stare on his face. He leaned over and took a white ceramic bowl from the coffee table instead. After removing the plate covering it.

Arthit stared at the bowl on Kong's lap, as Kong sauteed the contents. It was a bowl full of spinach, kale, avocado, cubed hard boiled eggs, granola and everything healthy... His diet plan for the day. Kong made it.

Arthit looked up at Kong's face again, just like a lost puppy. As Kong concentrated on mixing all the ingredients again.

"You made them?" Arthit whispered, staring at Kong. Feeling full already.

Kong didn't reply, instead held a spoonful of salad in front of Arthit's lips.

"You shouldn't have strained your ankle..." Arthit rambled. "You need to rest... You..."

Arthit stopped. Looking at the blank, unamused stare Kong gave his way. Continuing to hold the spoon.

He gulped down a lump and dropped his gaze. Slowly opening his mouth and taking the food. Without once raising his gaze, as he chewed on.

Kong smiled, thankful that Arthit can't see his face. He wanted to squish Arthit, he looked so adorable. Kong wanted to giggle and squeal and squeeze Arthit some more. Chomp on Arthit's cheeks.

But he cleared his throat instead. And continued feeding his stupid lover. Till the last morsel. While Arthit remained sitting on the floor.

Kong held the glass of orange juice against Arthit's lips. Biting his lips to hold a smile, when Arthit made a face taking one sip. Ofcourse Arthit hated the juice.

Kongpob is back, so Arthit can't escape the aloevera in his morning juice anymore. Arthit hated aloevera in his juice. Always complained, refusing to have it. Kongpob had to kiss him after every sip.

But he finished it till the last drop, without any complaint or raising his eyes that day. Making Kong's heart flutter. As he struggled hard to hold back his smile.

Kong put away the glass and took the napkin. Dabbing it again Arthit's mouth, cupping Arthit's face with his other hand. Only then did Arthit look up, just in time for Kongpob to mask his smile. Putting it back to a scowl.

"Will you talk to me now?" Arthit whispered, looking at Kong's face with lost eyes. Holding Kong's wrists. "Please..."

Kong stared at him blankly, putting the napkin away. He wanted to look away from Arthit, but he didn't have the heart... Looking at those eyes. So he leaned closer and nipped Arthit's pointed nose tip in reply instead. Parting and looking straight into Arthit's eyes.

Arthit closed his eyes, continuing to grip Kong's wrists. As he nodded. "Okay... I will make you..."

Arthit was busy running around. Being new to his work. AND presenting the world to Kong.

Who true to his words, kept giving hell to Arthit. Making everything hard for Arthit. Everyday. Ignoring Arthit's puppy stare. Though he accepted everything, albeit with a petulant pout. Drawing blood from his lips with how hard he was biting down to prevent himself from smiling. The moment he would give his back to Arthit.

It's been three days... And Kongpob promised himself, just another day. He was enjoying himself too much...

As Arthit continued buying roses, chocolates, and the finest of foods. Cooking and presenting it before Kong in bed and under a beautiful tent he built in their backyard. Carrying Kong around everywhere to not hurt his ankle.

Singing songs for him. Even writing sappy poems, which he promised to write once. Kongpob couldn't help his laugh, those moments. Not able to hold back. Arthit is a terrible poet.

Except for the poems... Kong enjoyed when Arthit will sing for him with the guitar Kong gifted. Sitting on the floor, while Kongpob would sit on the couch. Resting his feet. Gazing deep into each others eyes. Getting lost somewhere, while listening to Arthit's beautiful voice. Tearing up at some point.

Getting scooped up soon and swayed to the tune Arthit would humm with a smile. While Kong would hug around Arthit's nape, their eyes lost into each other. Feeling so full.

Kongpob got rose baths. Massages, which obviously turned to be more relaxing. With kisses and making out, making sure Kong was a writhing mess. Kong's moans being the only sound Arthit would get. Because Kong won't talk.

But Arthit accepted, whispering the sweetest promises for tomorrow and their forever. And Kong believed him... Kongpob believed Arthit, over everything around the world. Kongpob loved Arthit, over everything around the world...

Because at the beginning of the day, Kongpob made sure that Arthit was eating properly and resting. And the end of the day, Kongpob always waited for Arthit to come back home and have dinner together. No matter how late Arthit got.

His heart fluttering, each time Arthit would give Kong his delighted, gracious dimpled smile. When he would find Kongpob sitting on the couch waiting. Though Kongpob would throw another tantrum, making Arthit work up, the very next second... But it is all worth it...

At the end of the day, Kongpob could only sleep... Spooned in Arthit's arms. Hidden in his warmth, safe and home. No matter how much he made Arthit beg him... At the end of the day... Arthit will always be his sanctuary... Arthit is worth it...

Maybe that's why Kongpob never got scared of nightmares anymore. Because Arthit would be there to kiss him back to sleep, every night. Kissing away his tears, sushing him with the sweetest of words.

Making sure Kong was not so effected with the event. Which was pushed somewhere in the back of his head... But not forgotten.

Arthit never believed in ghosts... But hearing the story. Looking at his friend's and lover's pain. It was enough for him to question his beliefs again.

He was getting restless along with the rest of his friends. The nightmares never ceased, making everyone stay on edge. Scared and confused about what to do. And how to ease everyone's pain.

All the while, making his moves on demolishing the broken house. Finally having found out the truth. Finally having everything in his grip. After a whole week of trauma and fear, that troubled his lover. His friends.

So Arthit finally told everything to Tiny and Jake. They were from Navajo descent. Their believes and practices were stronger and different. They knew people, knew things... Which Arthit didn't... And Arthit was now desperate...

That's how he met, Alona Hatahle... Tiny's grandmother. And the moment she stepped in their home, Arthit could actually feel the air getting lighter. For the first time, watching Kong sleep peacefully that night. A help, Arthit didn't know he needed.

"It's creepy even in bright daylight..." Bright shivered, staring at the broken form of the nightmarish house. Which looked shrouded in darkness... Even under the sun.

"What happened here again?" Bright asked. Never looking away from the house.

"Schizophrenic teen killed her whole family. Decades ago and no one was able to set foot here afterward. Without their life being absolutely destroyed anyways..." Dean replied nonchalantly, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"That's it?" Bright kept looking.

"Her parents kept her locked in the basement... Ashamed of her condition... Tortured and lonely." Forth added, coming besides Dean. "Until one day she broke free... Causing the massacre..."

"Poor girl..." Bright sighed, feeling bad. "She needed treatment... Care... It's so not fair... I feel bad right now..."

"Yeah..." Forth sighed himself. "It was morning... And she was locked in that dark space... For so many years.... That she actually just combusted... Melting to her death... The moment she stepped in the sun..."

Bright snapped his gaze at Forth... Then back at the house. "That's harsh Forth... She didn't deserve it..."

"The families to ever own this property... Reported a suicide or a member killing another member... Until it stayed unclaimed in the market for last ten years now..."

Arthit kept staring, being stiff as he stood at the threshold of the house. His eyes fixed on the broken, rotting form that looked back. Feeling a pull, which he couldn't define. Making him gulp down lumps, with the dread that spread through him. He didn't like it... He didn't like being scared.

"Let's go..." Dean walked ahead, holding the gasoline container. "Hope this works..."

"It will be in the news... They will atleast feel safe... Knowing this house isn't there anymore..." Bright followed, instantly starting to sprinkle rock salt all around the property, enclosing it. As instructed.

Forth followed Dean, pulling out his gun. This time more prepared. Giving one last glance at Arthit. Who continued being frozen outside the gate.

"Stay away from the shadows... Stay in the sun..."

Dean and Forth looked over at the petite, chubby woman. Who stood besides Arthit. Looking at them with a hard face. Dean nodded, walking ahead again...

"Scared?"

Arthit nodded blankly in reply.

"Are you ready?"

"How did it know Kong's fear?" Arthit couldn't take the curiosity anymore. As he looked at Alona.

"Honestly? I assume because... He is the most vulnerable... He felt left alone... His fear and doubts must have been sensed.... She must have felt connection with his pain... Because no one was there to believe her too..."

"Is this my fault... That he suffered so much?" Arthit whispered.

"No..." Alona shook her head in reply. "But once you step in... It will try everything... To make you feel the same... Show you your worst fears..."

"Why?"

"Because it knows... You are about to demolish the source of its power... This house..." Alona replied.

Arthit looked back at the house again... Dean and Forth were pouring gasoline all over... Very diligently. Joined by Bright. Who continued spreading salt everywhere...

"They don't seem to sense anything..." Arthit looked at the men ahead of him.

"They aren't vulnerable like you two, boy..." Alona explained. "Even I can sense it..."

Arthit nodded, drawing in a breathe. As he stepped up, closer to the gate. Alona gently slipped a tiny pouch in Arthit's pocket. Without telling him. Or him noticing.

"Eyes can be deceptive son..." Alona gently whispered to Arthit's back. "Believe in your heart boy... Believe in your love... Go ahead... Win over your fears..."

Arthit froze, the moment he stepped in the property. Feeling the shift in the air... Like something woke up. He looked all around. He can see his friends... And yet... He felt completely alone.

The silence deafening him. The woods around was quite... Even though it was only ten in the morning. Not even a cricket or a swish of wind. It felt like the air around the place froze up in time.

But Arthit strangely didn't feel surprised. Maybe because he had a headstart on the matter. And the little bit of doubt left in his heart about the whole situation... Brushed off... He believed everything now... Everything...

Even when he watched the surrounding change in front of his eyes. Change to a place he is too familiar with... Their backyard...

The huge back porch with the breakfast table in one corner. With beautiful lights hung all around And... The swing bed.

And he now understood, why Kong was so hurt, confronted and confused. As he himself started to feel his breathes shallow. Eyes turn bloodshot with angry, unshed tears... Looking at the scene that unfolded in front of him.

Knowing now, why his fearless Kongpob was so scared... Forced to believe in the existence of things beyond human explanation. His body buzzing and veins throbbing with the maddening blood rush that coursed through...

Seeing his Kongpob... His beautiful Kongpob... with someone else. On THEIR swing bed. Naked. Under someone, whose face Arthit can't see. But with a built, which Arthit clearly recognised. Smiling and being touched by another. Having sex...

"Kongpob..." Arthit whispered, feeling his breathes catching in his throat.

Kong faced Arthit, smirking and moaning as someone else kissed his naked skin. Hiding their face in Kong's chest, as he threw his head back and moaned louder. Eyes fixed on Arthit's.

"Yes... Just like that... You feel so good... Yes... Faster... Oh..." Kong smirked with parted jaws, as his body jolted with thrusts. Eyes fixed on Arthit. "You are doing it so good... Better... In every senses."

Each sound cutting deeper into Arthit's chest. Making him weak and his whole form tremble with pain... And fury.

"Kongpob." He whispered, trying to stay stern and strong. "Stop it..."

Kongpob moaned throwing his head back in reply. Making those sounds, which made Arthit's skin prickle with delight. But the same thing was stabbing through Arthit's heart that moment.

The beautiful sweat slicked body and beautiful face, which fluttered Arthit's heart every time. Shredded his heart, in a little piece with every passing second. As he watched, someone else kiss that beautiful kid... In place of him.

Arthit fisted his knuckles. His eyes turning to deep pits of hell. As he clenched his jaws, taking a step towards the figures. He knows in the back of his head, nothing is real. But he still couldn't help the rage, that started to consume him... And his rationality.

"Kongpob..." Arthit snarled, baring his teeth.

Kong looked at him, letting the other figure kiss his neck. "Don't you think I deserves better?"

Arthit froze, staring into the illusion. He knew it in his heart, that it was an illusion. But the things it showed... Were real... Arthit's true, deep fears.

Kong raked his hand through the person's hair, pulling them closer. Parting his mouth in a moan. "With someone better. Someone good."

Arthit clenched his jaws, taking another step closer to the back porch. Inches away from the shadow that casted on the ground. He wanted to burn everything... Scream... And murder... He wanted to murder.

"Someone who isn't manipulative. Or mentally unstable..."

Arthit gasped out a breathe and choked on it. Feeling those words pierce through his heart. Making him see red in rage and hurt.

"Someone who is ready to die for me... Instead of pushing me away... Someone who is ready to fight his employer..." Kong moaned, clawing the man's back. "Someone stronger... Like him... Oh yes... Keep going... You are doing so ummmm..."

"Kongpob..." Arthit growled.

And the next moment, Kong was face to face with Arthit. Like a flash. His naked body just an inch away from Arthit's... The thin line of shadow... Being the only thing separating them.

Arthit stared at Kong's charcoal eyes. The beautiful face, the soft long bangs. Kongpob... but not his...

This is the worst version of Arthit's nightmare. The eyes, which made Arthit loose his heartbeat... Made Arthit cower that moment.

Looking him up and down with disgust. Making Arthit feel dizzy and stripped off from his identity.

"One day he will know...What you did. How low you stooped." He hissed at Arthit. Then smirked. "You know about the things you did. Don't you?"

Arthit stood still afraid to breathe as he felt something tight grip him. He slowly looked up, staring at the ice cold eyes. Feeling his head getting light. Registering the stench that came off Kongpob... Not the rosy essence... But the bile rising smell of rotting meat.

Arthit knew this wasn't Kongpob... But how did the thing know... This isn't real... No... This is just a nightmare... This is...

"I am very much real... So are the things you did..." Kong whispered, tilting his head. "You do recall right?"

"Shut up..."

"Remember how you used to sneak in that cafe... To feed Buggy..." Kong smiled sweetly. "The reason Buggy is so fond of you..."

Arthit felt heat crawling up his neck. Rising a chagrin, prickling his skin. As he recalled the things he didn't want to.

"Shut. Up."

"How you stalked me... Never approached... Working up the perfect plan..." Kong continued, never leaving Arthit's gaze. "Followed my whole days routine... Waiting outside my dorm..."

Arthit felt tears drop off his eyes. As he looked back at the dreadful eyes... He didn't recognise anymore. Telling him the things... Which slowly crumbled him... Feeling his heart with self doubts and self loathing. Because he knew, where this was going.

"How it wasn't Nathan... But you... Who terrorised every person who ever approached me romantically..." Kong tilted his head, batting his lashes.

"You do remember the black sweatshirt you like me wearing so much right? Like a trophy... After mentally and physically harming so many... Wearing that thing..."

"This isn't true..." Arthit denied, looking Kong square in the eyes. "You know nothing..."

"Remember... How you provoked Nathan that night... You knew he was in the club... You knew he could hear you... Didn't you?" Kong paced by the boundary of the wall, eyeing Arthit. "Yet you bragged so loud... About my search for you... About our flirting... You knew Nathan has already started drugs... And he will loose it..."

"I never meant for him to hit you Kongpob..." Arthit defended, with tears in his eyes. "I wanted him to confront me... So I can deal with him... I didn't know... He will hit you..."

"But you did..." Kongpob hissed, looking Arthit square in the eyes. "You wanted him to do something... Which will make me hate him... To break my last restraints... So you can finally have me... In your clutches..."

Arthit went stiff, as his eyes gushed out with tears.

"You Sent those men... To befriend Nathan..." Kong leaned over, leveling his face with Arthit. "To influence Nathan to become a druggie... So you can ultimately ruin his whole life... And kick him out... Of mine..."

"He would've hurt you anyways baby..." Arthit whispered, shaking his head with tears. "I just showed his true colours... Baby... For you..."

"But you aren't satisfied yet are you?" Kong tilted his head. "You are soon pulling your cards... To get both Nathan and Rebecca bails. So you can destroy their very existence..."

Arthit closed his eyes, letting the tears fall freely... Trembling in rage and hurt. He felt so hurt with the memories. Which he thought he burried well.

"One day I will know how you orchestrated it all...How you trapped me." Kong grinned, his face glowing. But the eyes... were distant and cold. The polar opposite of his Liebchan.

"How you slithered yourself in my life..." Kongpob laughed. "Because otherwise... He wouldn't have even knew... That someone named Arthit existed... Aren't you pathetic?"

Arthit clenched his jaws, looking at Kong. Hating how bare he felt. Having everything thrown in his face.

"Nathan doesn't deserve you..." Arthit whispered, trying so hard to hold Kong's gaze.

"How are you any better?" Kong leaned impossibly close to Arthit's face, the stench unreal and making Arthit's stomach flip. "Maybe you are even worse than Rebecca...because she didn't hide. Unlike the wimp you are."

"I did it for you..." Arthit raised his hand to touch Kongpob. "I did everything for you."

"I will know one day... I will know everything... And I will hate you... Want you out of my life... Because you are a monster..." Kongpob dropped his voice. "A controlling and manipulative bastard... Vile and sick..."

"I love you..." Arthit pleaded, something stopping him from touching Kong's face. Though he was dying to. "I love you so much, Liebchan..."

"But he won't... He will never understand that.... He will hate you..." Kongpob sneered, glaring at Arthit. "He won't want anything to do with you... You know him right... He will be devastated..."

Arthit felt his chest tightening and breathes shallowing, with the words. With the deepest of his fears stuck on his face.

"But I will... I understand everything that you did... I understand you..." Kong smiled, glancing back at the huge home and back at Arthit. Whose lips were trembling, so close to sobbing.

Kong raised his hand, hovering it in front of Arthit's face. Without getting it in the light.

"Come with me... I will never hurt you... I will always understand you..." Kong whispered, with his beautiful smile. "I will love you for who you are... Accept you with my all...."

Arthit chuckled softly through his tears, staring at Kong's beautiful face. Smiling at him. Like he was accepted.

"They will never understand us Arthit... So come with me..." Kong opened his palm towards Arthit. "Come with me, Moye Solntse... I will be with you... For eternity..."

Arthit blinked, staring at Kong's hand. Then back at Kong's eyes. Their beautiful home right behind.

"Come with me... It will be us... Forever..."

Arthit gave a resigned sigh... With a faint smile. His rational mind long shut down. As he looked ahead... Into his happiness... At Kong... Waiting for him... With open arms and acceptance. And he didn't want anything else.

"Will you come?" Kong smiled softly. "We will be together forever... You will be the only person I will ever touch or see... Just you... And me..."

"Yes..." Arthit didn't even need to think twice about his reply. "Yes I will..."

Kongpob smiled wide and warm. Stepping back to give Arthit enough space to walk in. Cross the border of that formed, casted by the shadow of their back porch. Watching as Arthit took each step closer. Until there was Only a single step left to take.

Arthit watched at the other person disappeared. And true to his words... Kongpob was the only one waiting for him. A world... Just the way Arthit wanted...

Alona stopped Dean from running to Arthit. As they watched the scene unfolding in front of them. The hideous shadow that lurked in the shadow in front of Arthit. The one that Arthit kept talking to.

"He is in danger..." Dean cried. "Let me go..."

"No..." Alona snapped, eyes fixed on Arthit. "Call that boy..."

Dean frowned at Alona, then his face went blank in realisations. As he snatches out his phone. Bright and Forth restless as they paced about... Dead set on running to Arthit.

Dean closed his eyes, as he heard the rings on the other side. Waiting with ragged breathes... For response... For...

"Hello..."

Dean slumped, hearing the disembodied voice of his brother from the other side. He looked up at the back of Arthit and stepped closer to him. Followed closely by Alona and the other two.

"Hello?! Dean? What's up?"

"Kongpob..." Dean watched as Arthit went tensed hearing the name. "Hi... What are you doing?"

"Hating everything in existence..." Kong's disembodied grumble caught more of Arthit's attention.

"Yeah? Why?" Dean stood close to Arthit. Whose back was turned to him. As Arthit kept staring blankly ahead.

"I have rotations and volunteering... Because apparently I wanted to be a doctor... But my fucking leg has to stop functioning..." Kong groaned in frustration.

Dean chuckled, as the four of them circled around Arthit. Alona told them  what the house can do. And they weren't ready to loose Arthit... No.

"My exams are commencing Dean... It's just been last week they finished one topic..."

"Three months..." Dean corrected.

"Don't spoil my monologue..." Came the disembodied monotone. "I have practicals... Practice... Mock classes... Then medical volunteering at orphanages... I am just a soon to be nineteen years old..."

Dean laughed, hearing Kong's whine. While the others had a smile. Eyes fixed on the shadow that kept pacing restlessly.

Arthit remained blank and restless. Staring at Kongpob standing in front of him... Silently crying. His cold eyes... Sad and longing...

"Please come with me..." Kong raised his hand, pleading.

"Well I told you... You don't have to worry about anything... I have enough money... Your big brother is rich..."

"And let P'Arthit kill me? Then you? You sure you want that?"

Arthit snapped his gaze at the phone, slowly coming out of his trance. As he felt lightheaded struggling for breathes.

"What makes you think he'll do that?" Dean stared at Arthit's face.

"I was behind by one point in my GPA last test Dean... ONE..." Kong uttered in frustration. "AND THAT BLOODY OAF MADE ME RETAKE THAT TEST... WHO DOES THAT? I AM A GROWN MAN FOR DUCK'S SAKE..."

"Jeez my ears are bleeding..." Dean winced. "But you listened to him..."

"HAVE YOU MET HIM?" Kong almost snarled in frustration, Buggy yipping in background. Then Kong cleared his throat.

"I want you to be the best of them all..." Kong imitated Arthit's voice. Then groaned again.

"WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS?" Kong snapped. "ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER?"

"Hey.... You love Arnold..."

"NOT WHEN A LIVING TERMINATOR IS PRACTICALLY MY BOYFRIEND..."

"Wow..." Dean caressed Arthit's head, whose eyes were fixed on the phone in Dean's hand. "You seem extra energised... Anddd upset... Did Arthit do something?"

"YESS... YOU KNOW WHAT... I AM UPSET... THAT FUCKING PIECE OF MANIPULATIVE BASTARD ACTED ALL WEIRD FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS... WHEN I THOUGHT IT WAS MY TURN TO THROW THE BIGGEST TANTRUM..." Kong bellowed, clearly slowly loosing his wits.

"THEN HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO DISAPPEAR ON ME THIS MORNING... I MEAN... WHAT THE FUCK... HOW DARE HE?"

Dean didn't speak... Letting Kong rant.

"NOW HE WILL COME BACK... MAKE THAT FACE AT ME... AND MAKE ME FUSS OVER HIM... HE ALWAYS DOES THAT... THAT.... THAT... AARRGGHHH..."

"I thought you were worried about your studies..." Dean smiled.

"I do... I still am... I... Wait... Holy shit..." Kong chuckled.

"You okay?" Dean frowned, softly pulling Arthit away from the shadow.

"No..." Kong's disembodied sassy chide made Dean gap.

"No?"

"No..." Kong repeated smugly. "Because my brother AND father might be rich.... But my dear borfriend is RICHER... and I am already getting the lessons mailed... Can you hear it?"

Dean did hear the pings of incoming messages.

"I don't believe this..." Kong let out a breathy chuckle. "I didn't even tell him... And he already solved my problem... Dean... Can you believe this? How does he always does that? Holy cow..."

"You sound impressed..."

"I am... I am impressed Dean... He is an Angel... He is..." Kong went silent.

"He is what?" Dean held around Arthit's shoulders.

"He is..." Kong's voice got hoarse on the other side. Clearly overwhelmed. "He is doing so much for me... He always does so much for me... Even when I hurt him... Why does he always does that?"

"He loves you..." Dean watched as Arthit's attention fully turned to the phone in Dean's hand.

"I know that... I know... I know he loves me... I feel narcissistic... But I know..." Kong sniffed and chuckled. "I will personally remove all your hurdles... Who does he think he is? Always messing with my head..."

"Kong..."

"I love him so much Dean..." Kong's disembodied whisper silenced everything around. "I love him so much... That I will take his side... Even if he murders someone in front of my eyes someday... I don't know how to live without him Dean... I just love him so much..."

"You already said that..." Dean smiled, staring at Arthit's flushing face. As he dropped his gaze with struggled breathes.

"But..." Kong sniffed and cleared his throat. "If he thinks I will forgive him with these stunts... I will make sure that I prove him wrong... What does he think of himself? I hate him..."

"Umm hmm" Dean looked around, sharing a glance with the amused lot. "Ofcourse you do..."

"I really do..." Kong mocked offence.

"You sure... Because I don't even recall  the last time you sweared in front of Arthit..." Dean teased.

"It's not that I can't..." Kong chided. "It's just that he... Makes me tongue tied... With his presence... Another reason, I am giving him hell for soon..."

"Want me to check on him?" Dean had successfully got Arthit far away from the house.

"Please do... Please..." The relief in Kong's voice was evident.

"I surely will..." Dean promised.

"Okay... Thank you... I have to go now..." Kong murmured. "I will make something for him... He will be back soon I suppose..."

"Aww... I thought you were mad..." Dean crooned.

"I am..." Kong snapped. "I... Just... Ummm want him to have juices for the fights..."

"Awww such an adorable husband material... I am so..."

The line went dead on the other side. Right at Dean's face. And the weight of the situation fell on them soon. As Dean stared at Arthit's sideface.

"Someone's waiting for you Arthit?" Dean smiled at Arthit's blank sideface. "Don't you want to go back?"

Arthit didn't reply, as Forth and Bright came closer to Arthit.

"Let's finish what we started..." Bright murmured. "We have to go home Arthit... Kongpob is waiting for you... Don't you want to go back to your Liebchan?"

"Do it boss..." Forth encouraged. "It's time to complete your promise..."

Arthit stared at the house blankly, pulling out the lighter from his pocket. Ignoring the voice that whispered. The eyes that looked at him with longing.

"Mirrors don't lie, Arthit." Kong whispered, with a soft smile as he started backing up... The real form of the house. Soon coming into vision. Broken and rotting.

"You know it... Anything you do.. is never going to change what you already did... Even you know you belong here..." Kongpob stood on the back porch, now completely blended with the darkness.

"Do it Arthit... It's time... To go home... Your home our home..." Alona caressed Arthit's back.

Arthit stared at the thing square in the eyes, lighting the lighter.

"See you in hell..."

Arthit tossed the lighter onto the porch. Watching the entire place slowly getting engulfed in flames. Tears cascading down his blank face. While the others sighed in relief and watched from the distance. Slumping their shoulders.

Feeling the dread ease out of their chests, feeling lighter in a snap. Even though they heard the sharp screams coming from the place.

Arthit watched closely, getting a sick pleasure hearing the sickly cries of agony from the house. Not bothering to clean his face. While the others watched, extremely concerned.

"Arthit..." Dean came closer to Arthit.

Who looked over and started going out of the place. Without waiting for anyone, or even looking over once. Almost staggering... Looking exhausted beyond repair.

"Let him be..." Alona stopped Bright who was going to follow. They all looked at the building on fire, again.

"Will he be okay?" Dean asked, staring at the flames.

"He has love on his side... He will heal..." Alona replied, gazing at the flames herself.

Kong was sitting on the couch, restless and biting his nails. Arthit wasn't home yet. He had no clue where Arthit went but he would always tell Kong if he was being late. But he didn't receive a single text or call that day.

And the way Arthit was so distracted, these past days... Wasn't helping Kong's cause.

He looked at the time. It was late, very late. So late that Kong was scared... And hungry... He couldn't eat... He stared once at Buggy's bed once, to find him lying on the bed. Eyes set on the door.

Kong gulped down lumps and leaned back... feeling butterflies swarm in him. Surrounded by the silence of the house. And it's cold. Too distracted to read.

He perked up all of a sudden. And stared at the main door. Hearing the car engine. He let out a breathy sigh closing his eyes. Thanking God... That Arthit was home. He rubbed away his tears. Toughening his face.

Ready to lecture Arthit... It's been long enough that he haven't talked to Arthit... He can't hold back anymore. He scowled. Though Very excited for more roses and kisses. Ignoring Buggy's cuteness as he scratched at the door. All ready to scream the moment Arthit walks in...

Only for all his profanities to die down in his throat, the moment the main door unlocked... To find Arthit staggering in piss drunk. Almost tumbling down, gripping the set of drawers besides the door for support. Groaning under his breath, cursing.

"Arthit let me..."

"Get out..." Arthit slurred, shutting the front door at Forth face's who was trying to help. "Get the fuck out..." He rested his forehead against the door.

Breaking Kong's stupor. As he blinked coming to senses. Slowly coming to his feet. Thankful that he can limp without wanting to scream a little now.

"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered, coming around the table. Watching Arthit scratch Buggy's head leaning over, giggling. Almost tumbling down again.

Arthit blinked and looked over. Frowning a bit, then smiled brightly at Kong. Straightening up, wobbling and holding things to hold still. Knocking few things around.

His hairs disheveled and his white shirt crinkled and untucked. Three buttons open, giving a peek of the beautiful patterns. His pale face flushed and sweaty... Looking messed up... In a sexy way...

"There's my beautiful Kongpob..." Arthit grinned drawly. "Hi baby... I missed you..."

Kong blushed furiously, feeling his insides melt and jolt with the sudden throb of nerves. But he didn't feel the same flutter like always. Arthit looked to be in extreme pain... Emotionally. And Kong didn't like the lost hazel eyes staring at him.

"Welcome home, Oon..." Kong started limping towards Arthit.

"No, no baby. You are hurt," Arthit slurred. Raising his hand to stop Kong from moving. "I will be there... Just a sec... You look so beautiful right now... Why are you glowing sweetheart?... Oops!"

Arthit stumbled forward, knocking into things here and there. As he kicked open his shoes. Then almost broke his nose, trying to open his socks. And Kong wanted to cry... Looking at the weak form of Arthit.

"Uh oh. That was close," Arthit giggled, catching a vase that was about to clatter.

"P'Arthit... Let me help you..." Kong brittled. "

"Nah... I will be there.... I will always find my way to you..." Arthit staggered inside, gazing deep into Kong's eyes with a smile. "I am home Liebchan...."

Kong's breathes hitched with each step Arthit took towards him. Staggering. And he opened his arms... Arthit almost tipped over, if not for Kong holding him.

"Careful..." Kong whispered, hugging Arthit tight closing his eyes.

"Kongpob..." Arthit sniffled Kong's neck, the familiar rosy essence. "It's you right?"

"Yes..." Kong whispered, hiding his face against Arthit's shoulder. "Yes baby... It's me... Your Kongpob..."

"Oh thank god..." Arthit sighed in relief. Hugging Kong tight  "Thank god... Baby it's you... I missed you so much..."

Kong's lips trembled, as he nodded. Feeling his left side tingle with pain. That has nothing to do physically. The way his heart squeezed, made his left side numb till the tips of his fingers.

"Come on..." Kong sniffled, slowly backing. Ignoring his throbbing ankle. "Sit down..."

Arthit nuzzled his face against Kong's neck. Humming and smelling like whiskey. The scent actually intoxicating... Infact... Anything about Arthit is intoxicating.

"You smell so good, Liebchan..." Arthit slurred. As Kong settled on the couch... Trying to get Arthit besides him. "Can I eat you? Please... I want to eat you..."

"No..." Kong chuckled through his tears. "You can't..."

"Meanie..." Arthit grumbled under his breath.

Kongpob chuckled some more, albeit spilling tears. Arthit fell on his knees in front of Kong, instead of sitting besides Kong holding onto Kong's legs.

Kong bent over, holding Arthit steady. Slowly straightening and letting Arthit sit there... He will convince Arthit to change and get a cold shower soon.

He gaped at Arthit, who was giving him a drawly smile. Looking up with wide eyes and pouty lips. His hazel eyes looked deeper with the focus it set on Kong. Like he can't see anything else. The gaze making Kong's insides melt and clench.

His handsome face flushed and hairs messed... Drunk people aren't supposed to look so hot... But apparently Kong's boyfriend surpasses that belief.

"Come here P'Arthit..." Kong looked away with a blush. Rubbing away his tears.

"Don't look away from me..." Arthit raised on his knees in front of Kong. "Don't look away Baby Love..."

Kong looked up to find Arthit so close to his face. Arthit's hands in either side of Kong's hips on the couch. And Kong instantly felt small. All the retorts he practiced and prepared, stuck in his throat. As he gulped down lumps, trying hard to hold Arthit's gaze. Blushing from head to toe.

"P... Let me help you up..." Kong tried to help Arthit up who was staring unfazed at Kong's face, gripping the sides of the couch. "Come on..."

"Don't move." Arthit whispered, tilting his head. His eyes never breaking from Kong. "Keep resting my King. Let me do the works... you just rest back, eat properly, grow and keep looking so beautiful... I will do the rest..."

Kong dropped his gaze again, his hands resting on his lap. As he contemplated on whether Arthit was really drunk. Because Arthit got him tongue tied and cornered again...

"God!!" Arthit whispered in a trance. "you are so beautiful..."

Kong kept quite... Feeling tears trickling down his face. Dropping on his hands over his lap. Something was bothering Arthit. And Kong knew... Arthit was messed... But like always putting all his focus on Kongpob... That's how he always coped up. Kongpob is humbled and terrified with the thought.

He gasped, when Arthit held up both his hands over his lap. Never raising his eyes. Arthit turned Kong's hands over. And kissed the small mole, on the bridge of Kong's right palm. That Arthit adored so much.

"Were you waiting for me, Baby?" Arthit mouthed, ever so subtly. Almost in a grateful, pleading voice. "It's late My Love... You shouldn't..."

Kong looked up, meeting Arthit's gaze. His beautiful charcoal eyes, glistening. As he gulped down lumps. Their faces inches apart.

"I always wait for you, P'Arthit," Kong murmured softly. Feeling tremors course through his spine. With the way Arthit looked at him and dabbed his thumbs across Kong's wrists. "You know that."

"I do. I know my Liebchan." Arthit rested his head on Kong's palm briefly before lifting his head up. "Smile for me, Baby Love... Smile that gorgeous smile..."

Kong smiled, his heartfelt smile. Through his tears and clenching heart. Smiling more, when Arthit's face broke in a smile as well. Kong held back his sobs painfully at the smiling face. Never breaking his smile. As he wiped away the cascading tears down Arthit's face.

"There..." Arthit whispered, looking at Kong's smiling face. "There is my lifeline..."

Kong sobbed, closing his eyes. As he cupped Arthit's face and rested their foreheads together. Feeling overwhelmed with everything. Making him want to hide. He felt so much loved and cherished. The traces of dread he felt long gone.

"Last week was miserable, sweetheart..." Arthit whispered, while Kong continually wiped away Arthit's tears, panicking.  "No one waiting for me. No one to give me back hugs. No one to give me...kisses."

"Then why? Why did you push me away?" Kong brittled, nudging their noses with closed eyes. "Why did you push me away Oon? I was so lost without you..."

"I am sorry..." Arthit whispered, drawing in shaky breathes. "I will forever be sorry... I just wanted to protect you... I felt unaccomplished in doing the same..."

"Now do you see?" Kong murmured, choking on his sobs. "You are the best in protecting me... When you are around... No one can protect me the way you do... You are my safe haven Arthit... Why can't you see?"

"Say that you love me..." Arthit demanded.

"I love you, Moye Solntse... I love you with my all..."

"Can I have one kiss, please?" Arthit parted and looked into Kong's eyes, puckering up his lips.

Kong teared up nodding, desperate to know what made his Arthit so vulnerable. He hated it... He hated looking at Arthit vulnerable... He felt desperate to make Arthit feel safe again.

He cupped Arthit's face and leaned down. Pecking his lips.

"More..." Arthit smiled, looking deep into Kong's eyes. Pointing to his lips.

Kong gave Arthit a kiss and Arthit giggled; he put up one finger and puckered his lips again. And Kong obliged, kissing him again, smiling as he teared up.

Arthit kept asking for kisses. Just one more. One more. One more. Until Kong kept kissing his lips, feeling the tears drop on his face.

"What's wrong P'Arthit?" Kong parted and looked into Arthit's eyes. "What's wrong baby? What hurt you? Did something happen?"

Arthit shook his head, lying over Kong's lap, and hugging around his back. Arthit snuggled in Kong's lap as he felt his hair being caressed and small kisses being placed on his temple.

"Nothing..." Arthit muffled against Kong's lap. "I just love you..."

"Let's go." Kong straightened up, taking Arthit along. "Let's get to bed."

"No.No. Stay, please? You don't talk to me these days..." Arthit whined. "Talk to me..."

Kong mellowed, his eyes turning softer than ever hearing the pouty voice. Looking into the pleading eyes. Sitting back down as Arthit pushed him down, going on his knees again. But he knew... He needed to get Arthit rest.

"I will talk to you all night long..." Kong whispered, caressing Arthit's hairs.

"Promise?" Arthit tilted his head.

"Cross my heart." Kong smiled. "Let go to our room... Our bed..."

"And have sex?" Arthit grinned drawly.

"Yes..." Kong chuckled through his tears. "Yes you insatiable oaf... And have sex..."

"But I love you even without sex..." Arthit whispered, cupping Kong's face. "You know that right?"

Kong gaped and blushed. But nodded his head. He knew Arthit did... But they didn't lie when they said... Drunk confessions are the best and the most beautiful and real...

"I love you when you scream at me. Scold me. Give me a hard time." Arthit counted on his fingers. His other hand cupping Kong's face. "When you look messy in the morning. When you walk around in baggy clothes. When you sneeze. When you glare. When you get mad. When you complain about my innuendos. When you make me drink aloevera juice.... When you lecture me... When..."

Arthit stopped and stared at Kong's gobsmacked flushing face. And pouted.

"Kong...." Arthit whined. "I want more fingers to count... I want to tell you everything that I love about you..."

Kong kissed Arthit's lips and deepened it without a pause. Getting Arthit moan and respond back.

"Let's go to our room..." Kong whispered against Arthit's lips. "You can tell me the rest there. All night long..."

"Okay..." Arthit grinned enthusiastically.

Kong got on his feet as he started limping towards upstairs. Walking backwards. Eyes fixed on Arthit, who staggered to his feet. Kong pulled open his tee and tossed it right at Arthit's face. Who took it and looked at Kong. His eyes dilating instantly.

"Come're baby..." Kong whispered, reaching upstairs. Arthit following taking the stairwell support. "Come on..."

Kong kicked out of his pyajamas, getting completely naked... Standing by their open room's door. Blushing with Arthit's stare... Which looked intoxicating.

Kongpob smiled when Arthit sniffed the tee in his hand. Blinking his eyes shut, humming in delight. To open his eyes and fixed them on Kong's again. Making Kong get flustered. As Arthit almost reached their room.

The dimly lit corridor, propping Arthit's sharp features. The shirt baring his chest and barefoot. There was something about the sight... That made Kong feel cornered, blushing and breathless with the excitement at the same time.

He grabbed Arthit's collars the moment Arthit reached him and smacked their lips together. Not caring about the pain that snapped up his ankle. As Arthit's weight needed his support.

He moaned in ecstasy, when Arthit wrapped his warm arms around his back. Arching and pulling his naked body closer.

Kongpob tried imagining himself completely naked. And Arthit's still dressed up sexy form. Him in Arthit's arms. The visuals being so vivid and hot to his system... That he kissed deeper, pulling Arthit closer.

Arthit's confessions doing the rest.

Kong gasped and chuckled breathes against Arthit's lips... When Arthit held on the back of his knees and hauled him up. He continued kissing, wrapping his arms around Arthit's shoulders. Locking his ankles on the small of Arthit's back.

Drunk or not... Here's his superhero... Kong shivered with the thought. As Arthit carried him towards the bed... Albeit staggering a little.

Arthit dropped Kong on the bed... And Kong pushed back, raising on his elbows. As he parted his legs wide and waited for Arthit, breathlessly. His body flushing.

Kong growled in his chest in frustration. When Arthit struggled with his clothes. He didn't have patience for the clumsy cuteness that moment.

Kong got on his knees, coming to the edge of the bed. As he slapped away Arthit's hands and ripped open Arthit's shirt. The buttons plopping all over. He didn't care... If this was an expensive stitched shirt.

"Oh fuck..." Arthit moaned. As Kong suckled his nubs and started tucking at Arthit's pants.

Kong successfully got Arthit out of his pants. And didn't wait to take Arthit throat deep in a snap. Earning the loudest moan from Arthit.

"Oh Baby... You are doing so good..." Arthit gripped Kong's hairs, looking down. And pushed in deeper. "Oh fuck... Yes just like that..."

Kong felt proud of himself. As he put his all. Knowing a drunk Arthit... Is the claw everything around you in bed and air, while making you scream your lungs out Arthit.

He gets enamoured and more passionate... If he is wild in bed... When not drunk... He becomes more dedicated when drunk...

Though Kongpob can't choose his favourite one... Because both the versions sends him in a storm of emotions successfully, anyways...

And he was right... As he was a moaning mess cupping Arthit's face for the start. Eyes deep into each other's. Kissing and rocking with Arthit's deep, passionate thrusts.

Only for his eyes to go wide soon. As he arched and threw his arms around, clawing the bedsheet for the end soon. Screaming his lungs out. As Arthit caught up pace. Setting a perfect rhythm. Suckling on Kong's nubs like treats, served to him... As Kong thrashed around, arched like a bow... Finally feeling connected and at home.

Kong smiled, cupping Arthit's face. As they laid connected to each other. Under the covers. Arthit between Kong's parted legs. Sweating and panting, trying to catch their breathes. Arthit's hazel eyes glinting in the dimly lit space. Almost seeming sober.

"My Tiger..." Kong smiled, kissing Arthit's nose tip.

"My Little Fawn..." Arthit smiled back.

Kong chuckled, shaking his head. "I am really not so little..."

"You are..." Arthit whispered. "And you will always be..."

Arthit snuggled up over Kong's body. Putting all his weight and hugging Kong. Never looking away...

"Arthiiittt..." Kong whined, trying to pry free. "You are heavy..."

"Will you leave me if you realize how much of a manipulative bastard I am?" Arthit whispered as he hugged around Kong tighter. Staring at Kong's face.

Kong went stiff, as he slowly looked up to meet Arthit's gaze. His arms around Arthit's shoulders. Blinking and feeling his heart skipping on beats, looking at the deep stare Arthit trained on him.

"Arthit..." Kong whispered, gulping down lumps. "Where did that come from?"

"Will you?"

Arthit's deep voice, made Kong gulp down lumps and from his eyes. As he shook his head lightly... In reply. Slowly taking his arms down and dropping them over his head.

"I can't leave." Kong whispered, not raising his eyes. "It's too late for that..."

Arthit hummed and pushed his head into Kong's neck. Taking in a big breath, smiling at the rosey essence.

Making Kong gasp in shivers. As he looked away clawing the pillow. Feeling Arthit's kisses.

"What if you find someone better?" Arthit whispered against Kong's cheek. Staring at his sideface. "Someone good?"

Kong looked at Arthit's face, with a frown. As their noses brushed.

"There is no one else. But you, for me. Ever." Kong uttered with soft breathes.

Arthit raised his hand and caressed Kong's hairs, smiling softly at Kong's face. But there was something about the smile, which caught Kong's breathes. Making him gap at Arthit's face. With ragged breathes.

"Good..." Arthit smiled, kissing Kong's nose tip. Only for Kong to whimper... As he clearly felt the shift in the space. As he licked his dry lips.

Arthit raised his head, all the drunk goofiness gone. As he raised on his knees. Giving a smile at Kong, which freezes Kong's insides.

"Good..." Arthit cupped Kong's face and whispered, " Coz, I'd like to see you try..."

Kong went stiff, scared to even move a muscle as he remained the way he was. His arms over his head... Submitting. But paralysed by Arthit's stare... Which prohibited him from looking away.

"I'd like to see you go on the path ahead without me and find someone." Arthit remained smiling. Making Kong's toes curl up and muscles go stiff.

Kong is legitimately scared now... knowing Arthit isn't joking.

And he trembled looking back at the glinting, terrifying hazel eyes. As Arthit gripped Kong's hair breathing ragged, his eyes having a menacing glow. Yanking Kong's head back in a painful position. Baring his neck.

"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered in panic. As he tried to look at Arthit's face. "Please... Please..."

He tried to calm Arthit down. Arthit snarled, pinning Kong's wrists down on the bad. Kong's painful whimpers falling on deaf ears as he came over. Hovering his face over Kong's. Who looked back with shocked, feared eyes. Breathing narrow through his mouth.

"You want to find someone better?" Arthit leaned down and chuckled maniacally, sniffling Kong's neck and face.

Kong's toes curl and knuckles fist as he shakes in pure shock. He tears up blankly, as he shuts his eyes and goes stiff. Trembling from head to toe. But refusing to make a noise or move.

As Arthit peppers pecks along his neck, each touch freezing him and sending shivers down his spine at the same time. Kongpob has never felt so scared before...

"I will burn the world that you think is better without me." Arthit uttered suddenly. Dark and deep into Kong's ear. "I will burn your someone better. I will burn everything down, that is without me and you."

Kong stiffened and shakes not opening his eyes. As he remained still and petrified. Arthit stared at his face. Kongpob not daring to open his eyes.

"Then I'll burn you." Arthit whispered, in Kong's ear next in a blank emotionless voice.

Kong snapped his eyes open and stared blankly at the ceiling. Feeling his vision blurring, with the burning unshed tears. That threatened the rims of his eyes.

"I will watch till you are a pile of ash... that no one can hold together." Arthit whispered against Kong's face. As Kong refused to look at his eyes.

"Then... I will burn myself next... To be with you forever."

Kong finally breaks. Everything in him breaks. And he sobs, slumping, not able to take it anymore. As he shakes his head and breaks into loud, ugly weeps. Feeling overwhelmed with everything. Shutting his eyes... Not having it in him to take Arthit's stare that moment.

Arthit stared at Kong's weeping face blankly for a moment. Then he leaned down. Licking Kong's face like a loyal puppy. Licking away all the tears and distress that Kong let out. Only for Kong to sob more. Until Arthit kisses him taking in his sobs and cries.

Parting and looking at Kong's eyes. The craze in his eyes was scaring Kong. As he softly weeped clawing his knuckles. Arthit's hazel stare, breaking him...

"You want me to be your home? You want to be here forever?" Arthit whispered, tilting his head. "But don't you know? I was never letting you go anyways... I am just building a cage... Which will lock my Precious Kongpob... Without a way out..."

"You are scaring me..." Kong tried to pry away. Not daring to face Arthit.

"You are mine, Little Bird." Arthit hissed against Kong's lips, slowly letting go of Kong's hands. "And you are never leaving the cage. Ever. You hear me?"

Kong kept looking away. Never facing or responding... To shocked to react.

"ANSWER ME..." Arthit yelled at Kong's face.

Kong jolted, hugging around Arthit's shoulders. Raising his head and hiding his face against Arthit's shoulder. Nodding in submission, with tears in his eyes. Trembling with the way Arthit was raging with anger. Scared of even breathing.

Earning a soft giggle as Arthit kissed his head and sideface. Slowly slumping over Kong's body. Giving all his weight on Kongpob. Slowly pulling out and snuggling against Kong's neck. Getting comfortable. Cradling Kong tight.

"I love you so much Little Bird..." Arthit whispered against Kong's neck. "Welcome home..."

Arthit kept repeating that as he lied down over Kong's chest, snuggling Kong in his arms. Falling asleep over Kong, exhausted. Soon breathing steadily with soft snores.

Kong held him tight, ignoring his protesting ankle. Smiling with tears and pain. Terrified with the idea... That he didn't mind being Arthit's Little Bird... In this enormous golden cage... That Arthit has started building for him.

Kong weeped harder, holding Arthit tight over himself. Caressing his hairs. Shaken up...

Why is love so terrifying? Why did he feel safer here? Knowing Arthit is scarier than all of Kong's worst living nightmare... Then why?

Kongpob heard the approaching footsteps, ascending the stairs. He peeked out of the kitchen to see Arthit rushing towards the bathroom. Walking inside...

Kong woke up early, with sore muscles. Arthit was fast asleep, thankfully not over him fully. But spooning him tight. Kongpob had kissed him on the lips, going down the bed.

Deciding he will make himself useful.... before Mr. Rojnapat wakes up... And makes Kongpob an useless mess with his enigma. Refusing to think about last night.

He making Arthit a good breakfast along with a almond and banana smoothie, deciding he will add kale AND Arthit's favourite.

Kongpob came to his senses, hearing as Arthit hurled in the bathroom. Groaning and hurling some more...

"HOW IS IT IN THERE? FRESH I SUPPOSE..." Kong peeked at the corridor from the kitchen.

He was replied with a loud, disembodied groan and more hurls. Making him laugh out loud. As he served Arthit's breakfast.

"HAPPENS WHEN YOU DRINK GROWN UP JUICE, BABY BOY... INSTEAD OF ALOEVERA JUICE..."

Kong laughed more. Looking at the unamused face, as Arthit walked out, all messed up in a pyajama hanging low. Flushed and messy haired.

Kongpob pointed a warning finger at Arthit. Biting his lip to hold his smile when Arthit stopped, staring at him with a scowl. Though he felt jittery from the events of last night. And hyper-aware of the said person's presence. Surprised that he actually held Arthit's stare.... Wishing Arthit had forgotten everything.

"Well... Don't come out without a nice scaling hot scrub and an hour brushing your mouth..." Kong crossed his arms. Raising his brows. "Well my room fresheners will come handy now finally... The whole house stinks..."

Arthit narrowed his gaze and clenched his jaws, as he looked over. Groaning instantly holding his head with the movement. Kong laughed throwing his head back. Staring at Arthit's miserable hangover.

"I hate you..." Came the deep grumble. Followed by heavy footsteps going back to the bathroom. Followed by a string of very inappropriate words.

Making Kong fall in fits of laughter. As he kept hearing the loud 'I hate yous'.

Kong was feeling extremely fresh for some reason. Like something heavy was off him. The feeling was relaxing and alarming at the same time.

He went back to making Arthit's heavy first meal. And instructing their virtual voice assistant to play the local news... like every morning. It was Friday and already nine... Maybe he will convince Arthit to take a break today. He deserves it.

"Now... The news that took the whole locality by surprise... considered to be the most haunted place of the city... The Wilson House, which remained abandoned for more than a decade... Was burned down in a mysterious fire last day... Traces of gasoline..."

Kong didn't hear the rest. He froze, the moment he heard about the news of the abandoned house burned to ashes. His hands shook and the knife in his hand dropped. A sense of dread slowly gripping him. This can't be right?

Kong limped over to his phone on top of the refrigerator. Searching up the Wilson House. He drops his phone, stepping away from it immediately... As he recognised the house.

The house he can never forget... As he shook his head and covered his mouth. This can't be happening... No... This isn't real... This...

He stops feeling himself sticking against a hard surface. He snaps his gaze over his shoulder to find Arthit. Looking at him. With damp hairs falling on his forehead. Bare torso, with just a pyajama. Looking fresh, feeling fresh... But his eyes...

"The house... They say..." Kong whispered, looking desperately into Arthit's eyes. "It's burned down... Someone burned the house..."

Kongpob didn't want to believe that Arthit is the one behind this. No matter how penetrating Arthit's gaze was. He couldn't believe that someone can cross such extents... Just to make him safe. No...

Kongpob can't accept this... Because if it was true... Arthit will not just touch his soul... But own it... And there will be nothing more left for Kongpob to give Arthit... No...

"You didn't do it..." Kong breathed out. More to himself. Shaking his head. "No... You didn't right?"

"Stop playing..." Arthit instructed. Never leaving Kong's gaze. With his blank stare.

The speakers stopped playing and the house grew extremely quite. Except for Buggy's occasional, disembodied yips... As he played outside...

"No..." Kong started backing away, with tears. Feeling his insides twist with the surge of emotions. Holding Arthit's gaze. As he raised a finger at Arthit. "No..."

Arthit sighed and took a step towards Kong. Matching each step that Kong took backwards... As Kong clawed his belly... Continuously shaking his head.

"You didn't do it..." Kong repeated. "No Arthit... You didn't..."

Kong stopped feeling his hips hit the kitchen counter. Leaving no space for him to run. His eyes glazing but holding Arthit's gaze. With ragged breathes.

Kong tried to walk past, feeling lightheaded... Close to fainting. Only for Arthit to put a hand on the counter next to Kong's hip.

Kong stared at Arthit, trying to go out the other way. Only for Arthit to put his other hand there, caging him there.

Kong bit on his lip, dropping his gaze. He grabbed the edges of the counter to hold himself from falling. Struggling for breathes as his toes curled in his slippers.

Arthit leaned down, leveling his eyes with Kong's down-facing ones. Arthit stared at Kong's face for a long time. Watching as Kong teared up with choked breathes. Gulping painful lumps, shaken up by Arthit's stare and unpredictability.

"Don't cry sweetheart..." Arthit smiled, kissing Kong's head.

"I can't feel my legs..." Kong murmured shakily. Never raising his eyes.

"It's okay..." Arthit crooned, pulling Kong's limping body in his arms. "Ssshhh... Come're baby... I am here."

Kong gasped for breathes, hiding his face against Arthit's chest. His arms folded between their chests. Sniffing in strong whips of Arthit's essence, wafting along with his soap... His head feeling more lighter.

"Do you feel okay now?" Arthit kissed Kong's sideface. Hugging Kong's limping body closer.

"Why do you keep doing this?" Kong whimpered, trembling in Arthit's arms. Slowly his eyes going blank. "Why?"

"I wasn't drunk talking last night, Kongpob." Arthit nudged his cheek against Kong's head, dabbing his thumbs across Kong's back. "I will burn anything that gets between us. You are mine...Little bird."

Arthit smiled and hugged Kongpob close to his chest, shushing and staring blankly. Feeling Kong passing out with a soft sigh of breathe. He parted and watched as Kong limped, dangling backward... Vulnerable and trustful... Making Arthit smile more...

"Mine."
