Fleshes 2.
"NO." Kong screamed, refusing to shed a single tear. No matter how much his insides twisted in pain and fear. He won't cry. "NO... NO. SHUT UP. KEEP QUIET. HE MUST BE ON HIS WAY BACK."
This is NOT happening. No. Nothing can happen to his strong and healthy husband. Nothing. Arthit is a fighter. He won't give up on anything just like that... No.
So, when he saw the police cars arriving, he went livid as he yelled at anyone, everyone. And pushed past everyone to go search Arthit himself, as he stepped down the deck, forgetting to be careful or caring about anything else. He wanted his husband back.
Arthit can't just disappear on him like that. No... That's impossible. No... Arthit is not going to be another unsolved mystery.
"Where are you going?"
Kongpob stopped halfway to the maingate, hearing Becca's voice behind him. Which made him freeze and look over, to stare at the red head and penetrating blue eyes.
"I need to find my husband and no one's helping me..." Kong whispered, looking around.
"He might as well be dead..." Rebecca narrowed her gaze. "Don't you see?"
Kong gasped, going rigid. Hearing his worst nightmare being worded and given a definite shape to.
"Rebecca..." Nathan snapped. "Can you not? Let's just go..."
"What?" Rebecca ignored her husband and the whole shocked lot, crossing her arms. "He has to face that, the world doesn't revolve around him..."
Kong shivered with the words and as realisations started dawning on him. He felt bare under the sun in literal sense, without Arthit's protective wings or shadow. Without his warmth and comfort.
And his stance slowly started crumbling, as he felt alone in the whole wide world. He cradled his belly and didn't stop his pups from circling around him protectively.
"He has to know." Rebecca continued, with a smirk. "His husband isn't around right now... So no one is there to shield him. Anymore... Face that, no one's gonna shield you now... Kongpob."
Marilyn stepped up and landed a hard slap right across Becca's face. Making her stumble and gap around. And Marilyn looked at the officers.
"Question her, she is the neighbour who terrorized them for months..." Marilyn pointed. "She sounds all too confident that Arthit is dead... Question her..."
The officers looked at each other and realised the short, scary lady was right.
"Ma'am... Tell us about your whereabouts last night..." The officers circled Rebecca instantly.
Her Confident stance crumbled a little. As realisation dawned on her and he stared at Nathan. Who made no attempt to step up, much to her horror.
"Come on officers...." Becca smiled nervously, tucking back her hairs. "I was just trying to break through his trauma..."
The officer looked at her and stepped closer. "Then it won't be a problem if you answer few questions about your last night."
Rebecca clenched her jaws and stepped up. "You can't question me without any proof. I know my rights."
"It's a routine questioning... And you will be held as a suspect, if you don't co-operate...." The officer replied as calmly as he possibly could.
Rebecca gritted her teeth and glared at the officer. "I was at my house... Hosting a party."
"When was the last time you saw Mr. Rojnapat?"
"I don't know..." Rebecca, stared blankly. "He doesn't allow us in the house."
"And why is that?" The officer frowned.
He has been in the job for years. And he didn't like this woman. There was something about her eyes.
"Because he thinks, the whole world is after his precious bearer." Rebecca gave a tight smile.
Marilyn was trembling now. From head to toe, in rage and fear as she stared at the red head. Getting buzzed with the whole situation, so she stepped closer and faced the officer.
"She used to forcefully enter their house. Along with her husband. And at points harass him for his sexuality and his condition." Marilyn hissed. "And Arthit was gentle by not just punching her face."
Rebecca bared her teeth and almost launched at Marilyn, when she pointed a warning finger towards Rebecca. Looking intimidating, even being shorter.
"Careful there..." Marilyn hissed. "The cops are here. And even I might complete what Arthit couldn't..."
"Thank you so much for that, Marly..."
The whole atmosphere froze, hearing the hoarse, deep voice just behind Kongpob. As every gaze snapped at one spot, right behind Kongpob. Every gaze... Except Kong's.
He was rooted, to the core. As he stared at the house blankly, with parted lips and cold breathe. Feeling something heavy breaking off of him, making him light and feel the crushing weight of everything that he'd been carrying.
The fear, the dread, the abandonment, the loneliness. All of it that surrounded him.
And he realised, how much in pain he was. His hunger, his children's restlessness, his pups stress, while they wagged their tails and moved around Kongpob. And the trauma of it all. The bone chilling fear, that has settled in him.
The fear that he almost lost his husband. Or maybe he just denied the fact that, he was sure he has lost his husband forever.
And hearing that voice, finally made him give in and start acknowledging. About the nightmarish experience, that must have etched a mark into his soul.
He gasped, feeling the waves of turmoil hit him when he felt himself being cuddled from behind. And the familiarity of the touch made him realise, how much lonely he felt. How much scared and left alone. And now that he has started accepting that primal fear, it made him feel nauseated.
"Hey Bunny..." He heard the deep, raspy whisper against his ear, as he was hugged tighter from behind. His swell cradled. "I am home, sweetheart... Sorry I am late."
Kong threw up... He didn't care where he was or if he spoilt someone's shoes, he just threw up. He bent over and kept hurling, only bile. And the bitterness made him hurl more.
All the while, his belly was cradled protectively, with one arm and his back kept getting soothing rubs.
The feeling of calm and protection made Kong lightheaded, as he hurled even more. Like throwing out all the spiralling emotions that he has been bottling up for so long. Registering the extremity of the situation.
"Can you please get me a glass of water?"
Kong felt a surge of emotions, hearing the calm, deep voice. The sense of security, feeling that finally his protector is here.
Marilyn broke out of her sense of shock, hearing Arthit's hoarse voice. She stared properly at him... He looked to be in need of extreme of care himself. But he didn't care. Like Kong didn't care about himself. They seemed crazy.
"Marilyn..." Arthit smiled softly. "Please?"
Marilyn sniffed and nodded, biting on her trembling lips.
"Yes..." She choked, nodding. "Yes I will."
Marilyn rushed inside, rubbing back her tears. And Bright let out a chuckle, filled with relief, crossing his arms. He was right... When he said, Arthit makes everything seem so normal.
Becca went pale as a ghost, as she gaped at Arthit with wide eyes and ragged breathes. She slowly turned her eyes towards her husband. Who looked like an accused caught red handed. Looking anywhere but at her.
And she felt her body tremble in rage and feeling of betrayal. Her skin burning with the feeling of defeat. No... This is not happening. Her well executed plan cannot be failing. No.
Kong couldn't stop throwing up. It was like his whole gut planned on turning itself out. And the soothing touches, sent butterflies down his belly, making his condition worsen.
"There there..." Kong felt his long bangs getting tucked away, his back caressed and belly cradled. "It's okay... Step away, don't look."
Kong felt his whole body floating, when he straightened himself. As he gasped for breathes, feeling his head throb with the lack of sleep and the scorch of the bright sun.
Making him blink his eyes shut and swagger a little. But he had no fear of falling. Because he was held in strong arms instantly. Taking his whole weight.
If he saw the traces of dried blood on the white sleeves of the arms, that wrapped around his champagne sweater, he didn't comment. No. Not yet. If that made him selfish... He didn't mind.
He just wanted to bask in the comforting warmth, feel the sense of protection that has surrounded him. Shielding him from the whole world once again. So he let himself slump with closed eyes.
Though he was still too scared to even turn and look at the face that meant the world to him. Scared, that once he turns and faces the fears that surrounded him. He will wake up and everything will turn to a dream, he woke up from. He didn't want that. He didn't want this to be a dream.
He blinked feeling something touch his lips. He opened his eyes, finding a glass full of water touch his lips. He took an instant sip, holding the glass with trembling hands.
"Wash your mouth..." Kong heard the soft instruction, against his ear.
He took a sip and started rinsing his mouth with the warm water, gargling and spitting out.
"Another one..." Kong heard the encouraging voice, feeling the glass against his lips again. "Come on... That's it. Good boy."
Kong repeated one more time, then drank the whole glass of water. Feeling his insides quenching it's thirst. His heart burning, with the sound of the hoarse, obviously thirsty voice.
But he couldn't voice it out. Allowing himself to be pampered, selfishly. Almost vengefully. Feeling the soothing touches over his restless children. Of the relief in their pups whimpers.
Their... Yes... Their. Them. Together.
"Did he eat something?" Kong felt a kiss on his head.
Kong felt his insides breaking with the warm touch. Of the assurance that he was right, about Arthit never breaking his promise. Of him never leaving Kongpob alone. Always taking care of him.
"I made him a full course meal... He won't even take a bite..." Marilyn sniffed through her blocked nose, resting against Bright's chest.
Kong heard the audible sigh, as he was turned over. And his breathes hitched, looking at the red stains on the white shirt, as he set his gaze strictly on the chest.
Kong's jaws dropped in a silent scream and he put his trembling hands over the chest. Refusing to meet the warmth of the stare that he felt being set on him. He will break. Break really bad. And he didn't want to break that moment. No.
"You shouldn't be fussy with your health Bunny." Arthit whispered against Kong's forehead. "Don't worry, I will make you something right away."
Kong felt his gaze on the chapped lips. The hoarse voice, trembling body. The way Arthit's heart was beating so loud and breathing so uneven. And he felt his chest swell with pride. Pride that, his husband fought of addiction. Fought off death. Just to be with Kongpob. And to live.
So, he'd be damned if he shed tears now. No. He won't sympathesize his husband. He'd rather straighten his back and be there for his husband. To show him, that Kong is strong enough to stand by his side. And match his strength.
Kong wiped away his silent tears and the trace of it, pushing away and looking over. He faced the officers and tried to grip hold on his self, like he didn't just embarass himself in front of the whole world and messed their beautiful front lawn. He can fix the lawn later. He needed to fix the other messes first.
"Would you like to join us for a late breakfast?" Kong tilted his head at the officers.
The officers gaped, then shared a glance, looking at Kong again.
"Uhh sir..."
"Please..." Kong insisted. "I know you want to question..."
Kong couldn't form the word to voice his husband. His insides felt constricted. So he just stared helplessly around, then back at the officers.
"Question him..." Kong breathed out. "So please, I insist you come in and settle for sometime..."
The officers stared at his tear stained, blotched face. His fearful eyes, the desperation. And they didn't have the heart to refuse.
"Sure thing, Mr. Rojnapat."
Kong broke in a teary smile, hearing that name as he nodded. Feeling a little of his footing. Feeling his hold on reality, a bit everytime. Making him realise... Maybe he wasn't dreaming. Maybe...
No. He wasn't ready to face it, if it really turned to be a very vivid dream.
Kongpob walked past, ignoring his hurting feet. He cradled his belly and looked down at it, while walking towards the house.
"Okay guys... I need you two to be calm for sometimes okay?" Kong mumbled to his belly. "I need to..." He closed his eyes, then collected all his courage again. "I need to treat Daddy. Okay?"
He felt light, as he started acknowledging the situation and the truth of it. And smiled when the little devils listened to him for once. With Tammy and Rolly, wagging their tails, following Kong inside.
"Levi, Joey." Kong turned to both their housekeepers. Who were standing on the deck, in their usual denims and plaids. Straightening their upset back the moment Kong came closer. "Come with me."
Both the men nodded, as they shared a glance. Their master was back home and they can see the colours on their younger master's face returning.
It was almost funny to Kong sometimes. How these two much taller and buffier men with beards and military cut hairs, were always on their toes to take Kong's command.
Kong stopped and turned his gaze to the other side, to find their gardener looking around in an upset daze. He is a middle aged man, with a short and healthy build. Face covered in long white beards and wrinkles. With beady, kind blue eyes.
Both Kong and Arthit were fond of him. Like he was fond of them. And Kong can see how much upset he was with everything that went about. Kongpob felt bad and loved at the same time. But he knew, the dark of the storm was over. He knew it.
"Roger..." Kong called softly.
Smiling, when he was looked back with worried, glazy eyes. As Roger faced him.
"Can you please get me some fresh picks?" Kong tilted his head.
Roger drew in a breath a breathe and nodded, straightening while blinking rapidly and clearing his throat.
"Yes..." Roger nodded, collecting the basket that laid next to his feet. "Any particular demand?"
"Ginger. And some baby potatoes, if you can."
"I definitely can... Give me some moment."
Roger rushed away and Kong faced the other two again, as he walked in followed by them.
Arthit watched with a soft smile, as he looked at Kong waddling inside, followed by both the gentle giants and those two huge puppies on his heels. The sight and the feeling of home, slowly started to peel away the dread that almost consumed him last night.
The thought that he won't be able to see his beautiful family again. And the moment Kongpob was out of sight, Arthit crumbled. But Bright was there to hold him tight and keep him standing to the ground, taking all his weight.
Arthit struggled for breathes, as he closed his eyes and clawed Bright's back and shoulder to keep himself from falling. Gasping for breathes, his whole body felt to be on fire. Burning with pain and stiffness. His stomach twisting with hunger and dehydration.
Bright chuckled softly, patting Arthit's back. Holding him tight and thanking whoever was hearing for getting his friend back.
"You scared us there, man... Welcome back..."
Arthit nodded, with closed eyes. He assumed he will be lost in the dense woods of Shellac forever. Until with an unexplainable miracle, he walked out the edge, to find himself right in front of the place which was his heaven. Where all his Angels lived.
To find his heavily expecting love, so much mad at everything and in pain. Arthit felt safe again. Kongpob saved him once more and he wanted nothing else.
"Mr. Rojnapat. You need treatment. You are bleeding." One of the officers stepped up and held around Arthit from the other side.
Arthit took struggled breathes and looked towards the open doors of his home. And he gave the officer a little smirk.
"I will be treated soon." He spoke in his raspy voice.
"But you are bleeding." The officer started walking inside helping Arthit.
"Ahh about that..." Arthit stared ahead, not minding the help that he was getting. "It's not my blood... Most of it, that is."
The officer snapped his gaze at Bright, from over Arthit's hunched shoulder, circled by the whimpering pups. And Bright gave a shrug. Then continued walking in. Marilyn walked past them, rushing inside, to help Kongpob with whatever he was doing.
Arthit stopped when he almost walked up the stairs to their front deck, making the other two stop as well. They waited as Arthit looked over his shoulder, at the bewildered couple. And kept staring at them for a moment, until he broke in a smile.
Which... Surprised everyone.
"Wanna join us for breakfast?" Arthit offered.
Nathan's shoulders slumped instantly, his eyes brimming with guilt. While Rebecca breathed fire, as she looked over and stormed away. Only stopping when she reached the open gates, looking over to see if her husband followed her. Her jaws dropping to find that he wasn't, she clenched her jaws and marched away.
"She is upset... I am sorry about that." Nathan gave a small smile. "Thanks for the invitation though. Maybe some other time."
"Come on... I insist." Arthit encouraged.
They shared the eye contact for a moment, until Nathan gave a soft nod, staring square at Arthit's eyes. And walked towards the house.
"What are you thinking?" Bright frowned at Arthit.
"Nothing." Arthit sighed, staring at the house again. "Just realised, how short life is."
Marilyn watched, as Kongpob moved around with a zest. Like he wasn't even nurturing that huge swell on himself. He moved with focus, as he set himself to mend his husband. Though she didn't see him once getting close to Arthit. And she didn't want to question Kong's cope up mechanism.
Kongpob wanted to give in to his urge of going to his husband's arms and wail. But he didn't want to give in to his weaker side just yet. No. He didn't want to show Arthit, how badly he broke with the fear and the sense of abandonment.
Arthit just had a bad day at work. Yes. That's what happened. He didn't go through a near dead experience. He just needs a little care now, like everytime he came back from a tough day. A good bath, warm food, some healing drinks and rest.
So, he didn't even spare a glance when he saw Arthit being helped inside, by two men and getting settled over the couch, facing towards the open kitchen. Arthit is just tired. Nothing much happened.
"We cleaned the house..." Levi came around.
Kong pointed towards his portable, fuzzy bean bag platform. "Can you please shift that to our room?"
Levi stared at the platform and nodded.
"Put it next to the fireplace."
"Okay."
Kong prepared a glass of warm water and a cup of ginger tea with some other herbs. Put them on a tray, along with a bowl of warm water and a clean towel. He carried them to where the others were sitting.
He ignored his hunger, his thirst, the searing stare fixed on him. He even started to ignore the contractions that had been hitting him from a while now.
"A little while more, Little Peas." Kong whispered. "Calm down okay?"
"Mr. Rojnapat, what happened?" One of the officers started taking the statement, once they settled.
Kong halted for a moment, with struggled breathes and sighed in a cold breathe. Eyes strictly set on the dry mudded shoes. He closed his eyes and proceeded to do what he was doing again.
Arthit stared at his husband, struggling to keep himself together. Stared as his beautiful spouse sucked in his lips and set the tray down on the table in front of them. Cradling their sweet bundles. Ignoring Arthit's stare at all cost.
Arthit sighed, holding Kong's arm, his heart clenching feeling Kong's flinch. Arthit knows that Kong was in denial of the horror that might have happened.
He slowly pulled Kong and helped him to sit next to him, kissing his soft cheek next. Making as much contact as he possibly could, to assure Kongpob, that he is back. And nothing happened to him.
Kong's heart jolted, as he bit on his lip and refused to meet Arthit's gaze at any cost. He gulped on a lump, as one of his hand was threaded with a paler one and held over Arthit's thigh. While he used the other one to dip the clean towel in the warm water and slowly dabbed away the dry stains on Arthit's face.
"I was driving back from the neighbouring town. And I had to pass through route 590." Arthit kept his eyes fixed on Kongpob, as the corners of his lips were dabbed with utmost care.
"What was the time?" The officer started taking notes.
"Around ten."
"What happened next?"
Arthit drew in a breath and felt a slight shiver with all the memories. Smiling faintly, feeling Kong scoot closer to him. Though unconsciously.
"There was this person." Arthit recalled. "Lying on the middle of the road... Completely still. And I was worried that something happened to him. So I came out, to help."
"Did you see his face?"
"No..." Arthit shook his head, resting his face against Kong's shoulder. "and when I turned him over. He was wearing everything black. With this creepy mask."
Kong dropped his arms, taking in cold breathes, as he took the glass of water and helped Arthit drink. His insides slowly crumbling, with the way Arthit drank like he was thirsty for ages.
"What did he do next?"
Arthit stared blankly ahead and continued. "He pointed a gun at me..."
Kong gasped and covered his mouth, the pain of dread of what might have happened, masking the pain of the now frequent contractions.
"Did he try to kidnap you?"
"I wouldn't know officer." Arthit straightened, now feeling better with the occasional sips of tea.
"I somewhat kicked his gun to the nearby dark woods and booked it to the car. But got tackled by two more men, right before I could close the door." Arthit took another sip of his tea.
"I carry a Taser, luckily was able to get from the dashboard and used it on one, punched the other."
Bright frowned, wondering why Arthit lied. Arthit didn't only carry a taser... Arthit owned a bloody glock, all filled up.
Infact Bright accompanied Arthit when he got his license. Accompanied him, when he was super excited to get his gun too. Right after he stepped foot in Shellac. Ofcourse, Kongpob didn't know about it. The poor kid would freak out.
So, it felt legit that Arthit hid it from Kongpob. But why from the police? Well, Bright has to talk to Arthit later.
"But I still was outnumbered..." Arthit kept staring at Kong's face. "Because I was sure there were more people... I can hear them closeby."
Kong covered his mouth with both his hands tight. Shutting his eyes tighter, trying not to muffle his scream.
"So I ran off in the woods, luckily missing their shots in the dark as I jumped in a bush. They kept chasing me and lost my way while hiding in the darkness." Arthit mumbled, putting away the now empty cup.
"My phone ran out of juice and I thought I'll be out, once it's morning. But I underestimated the situation, loosing myself deeper and deeper into the woods."
Kong couldn't take it anymore as he finally broke in tears, biting his lips to hold back his screams. Trying to imagine the horrors, the fear while Arthit must be running to save his life.
Nathan on the other hand was pale as a sheet, checking the endless texts on his phone. One standing out, from the rest.
"They paid for it you fool. It will be us, if they see that bastard alive. And if we delay that bloody Kongpob's buns, then it's our asses they'll be after... What are you gonna do now that, that fucking filthy piece of abnormal abomination is protected once more... Arthit was supposed to be dead... If we want to get our hands on that bearer of his."
Nathan broke in cold sweats, as he looked at Kongpob. Who was in silent tears, mending his husband, carrying a heavy bump. A family. A normal, happy family. And Nathan was instantly hit by a feeling of abandonment. With the thought of a normal family. A normal life.
And he felt more scared with the thought that he was about to destroy this family. Then the news that, those vile creatures were soon going to be after them.
He has never felt sympathy before. Never. But Kong was different. Maybe because, he observed this couple from a long time.
But mostly because, he has imagined more than hundred times, about how his life would've been like... If he knew someone like Kongpob instead. And got the feeling of a family and love. And... He was tired.
So tired... Of it all. It's like he is getting sinked deeper and deeper with no way out. He now either wanted it all to get over with or just finish this bloody game. He didn't want to do it. Especially to this beautiful, beautiful human being.
"You lost yourself in the woods of Shellac?" The officer frowned. "Did you find something that helped you out?"
Arthit stared at a very stiff Kongpob's side face and wondered, if he'd be found insane.
"I found a trail which connects that route to our society."
"It what?" The officer perked up.
"It's well hidden and I stumbled on it by chance, but it's there. And it's enough for a car to drive in."
The officer wanted Arthit to show the route right away, it was a breakthrough to their almost cold investigation. But decided to wait. And maybe it was time, they involved the big guys.
He shared a glance with his subordinate and nodded. "Call them in. It's going to be few hours for them to arrive. Might as well be a kick start."
"Yes Chief."
The young man walked outside, with hi phone. To ring in the FBI.
Kongpob struggled to get on his feet. He needed a little distance to process everything. But he can't get up on his own, no matter how hard he tried. So he didn't mind, when Bright gave him a hand. Though he saw someone else gesturing Bright to do so, from the corner of his eyes.
Kong walked carefully towards the kitchen and when he found that there was still time, for everything to be prepared. He rushed inside the bathroom. To prepare a bath for his husband.
The officer observed Arthit. As he stared at the directions that Kongpob went to. And the officer just couldn't help himself.
"How did you get out of the woods?" The officer was curious.
Arthit blinked and stared at the officer, then gulped a lump, scratching the back of his head. While letting out a nervous chuckle.
"You are not gonna believe me, sir."
The officer leaned forward and rested his elbows over his parted knees, tilting his head.
"Try me, son."
Arthit stared at the officer for a moment, then cleared his throat. "I was exhausted and almost dead... But then, I heard this voice..."
The officer frowned.
"I know, it sounds insane. And maybe I was imagining things. But I heard it loud and clear..." Arthit drew in a shaky breathe.
"What voice?"
Arthit gulped a lump, feeling a wave of goosebumps course through his skin. He clearly remembered the voice and the words. He stared at the expecting officer, licking on his chapped dry lips.
"I..." Arthit whispered, staring blankly.
"P'Arthit... This way P'Arthit... Don't give up just yet..."
"The voice..." Arthit tried forming the words. Feeling a shudder running down him with the memories.
"Follow my voice, Oon. I love you so much. Come this way... Come back home, Bhow."
The officer can see Arthit recalling the events and he couldn't help but feel a shiver run through his skin too. His heart clenching, as he stared at the haunting hazel eyes... Now brimming with unshed tears.
"Maybe I was just imagining..." Arthit whispered, with a shaky voice, gulping down painful lumps.
"Daddy..."
"Yes... Just imagining." Arthit rubbed down his hand on his face, sniffing and choking. Rubbing away his tears. As he now stared at his open shaky palms, over his lap. "An illusion of my muddy brain."
"Come back to us, Daddy. We need you... We love you so much. Don't leave us, Daddy... Please come back."
The officer was silent for a moment, as he shared a glance with Bright and Nathan. Then sighed, patting Arthit's shoulder.
"We are happy you made it..." The officer mumbled. "Maybe that voice wanted you to be out and be back... Maybe you still have a purpose to fullfill."
"Your bath is ready..."
Arthit stared ahead, hearing the voice. Looking at Kong's beautiful face. His beautiful gifts. Kong's cute way of avoiding Arthit's gaze, as he walked away. And he realised, the officer was right.
So, he smiled at him and came to his feet with a soft nod.
"I will be back in a few. Thank you for joining us for breakfast."
"Never follow voices in the woods, young man... Woods can be tricky."
Arthit didn't falter his stare from Kong's face. "Then the forest is pretty smart, to use that one voice that I will let myself be tricked to death."
Kong tried squatting, to check the water temperature. Groaning, when couldn't even reach halfway. But atleast his contractions were gone for the moment.
He tried bending again, failing miserably. So he set on dropping essential oils to the bath instead. Eucalyptus, thyme, peppermint, smiling a little with the wafting fragrance. But still worried about the temperature.
Arthit absolutely hates simply warm water, he always wanted it enough hot to hit his soar muscles. So he let out a breathe and tried reaching again.
Kong gasped looking at a pale tattoed arm, reach inside the brimming bathtub instead. And pouring a little water on his reaching hand.
"It's perfect..."
Kong closed his eyes, when he was cradled from behind. Shuddering with the feeling of nose tip in the crook of his neck. Throwing his head back, when Arthit sniffed and dropped feathery kisses on his neck.
"I thought I won't be able to see you anymore." Arthit sniffed Kong's neck.
Kongpob struggled for breathes, when Arthit crooked his fingers in the neckline of his sweater. Dragging it to bare his shoulder, which soon got peppered with kisses and soft nibbles.
"I thought I won't be able to touch your soft skin anymore." He licked on the skin.
Leaving a wet trail, which cooled... But felt like burning Kong instead, coursing waves of tremors through his body. Clenching his nerves, as he curled his toes, slowly feeling the cloud of doubts brush away. Feeling how real it is. How warm he instantly is. This is really his husband. His Arthit.
"Let me go..." Kong whimpered. Trying hard to break free of the strong, supporting hold under his belly.
Kong still felt scared of it all to be a dream... Which will mist away, the moment Kong makes peace with it.
"I am here, sweetheart..." Arthit kissed Kong's neck deep, loving their height difference like always. "Look at me, it's really me... Please look at me. I missed you so much."
"No..." Kong shook his head rapidly, trying to push away. "Please let me go..."
Arthit turned him over and cupped his face, forcing him to look at Arthit's eyes. Kong's breathes hitched, finding the all familiar warm eyes penetrating through his very soul. Breaking all the doubts that was holding Kong heart.
"Baby... I am here." Arthit smiled.
His face pale, with little scratches here and there. The red bruise in the corner of his lips. His eyes... Kong's lips trembled. His warm eyes, melted Kong's freezing insides, giving the assurance that he wanted. The warmth and... The feeling of home. He is finally home.
"Let me look at my Little Peas..." Arthit's stare at Kong's face was so intense that Kong feared he'd fall down.
The eyes of his husband. Yes... They are Arthit's eyes and it had the same power on Kong. And he gasped when Arthit bared his heavy swell and he clutched the edge of the faucet he was leaning his hip against. In a knuckle whitening grip.
Kong bit his lip and curled his toes, when Arthit cradled his belly and dabbed his thumbs over it. The touch sending fire down Kong's spine as he blushed.
"Beautiful..." Arthit kissed Kong's chest. He leaned down. Never once looking away from Kong's face. And placed a kiss on the swell.
"Just the way I remember..." Arthit whispered against Kong's belly, then straightened cupping Kong's face again. "So beautiful and all mine..."
Kongpob slumped, feeling himself break in ugly tears as he shook his head. Holding Arthit's wrists tight, wailing with Arthit's kiss on his forehead, then nose tip. And a soft peck on his lips.
"How could you?" Kong cried. "How could you, Oon?"
"Sssshhhh... It's okay..." Arthit hugged him tight, sideways. Careful as always. "I am back..." Arthit closed his eyes resting his chin over Kong's head.
"I was so scared." Kong weeped, clawing Arthit's back, hiding his face against Arthit's chest. "I was so scared Arthit..."
"I am here..." Arthit kissed Kong's head. "I promise..."
Kong let it all out... All that he'd been bottling up in him. Muffling his screams against Arthit's chest, until he felt light and until, his contractions made him flinch a few times. But he held it in him. Arthit needed to eat and get a little rest. Kong can hold a little longer.
So he let Arthit have his comfort, willingly opening his sweater when Arthit suckled his overtly sensitive, swelling nubs. Moaning like always, while Kong reached his hand down, his shyness momentarily forgotten. Their hands soon caressing and fondling each other, until they got lost in the sea of ecstasy.
With tears and kisses, lots of promises and the little words which assured each other, how much they missed each other. And Kong got reminded over and over, how gorgeous he is... How sexy and alluring... And how he saved everything... Thankful, their room was soundproof...
"What are they doing with all the kidnapping, officer?" Marilyn asked as she set plates for everyone, helping Kongpob bring in the dishes.
"We have no clue. There are no traces of the bodies. So it makes their intentions unclear." The older officer informed. "But... If you ask me... My wild guess... I'd say, Cult initiations or dark Web."
Marilyn's jaws dropped, as she gaped at the officer. Feeling Kongpob stiffen besides her. And she didn't blame him. To think, you almost lost something so precious in a web so deep... Can shake you.
But he schooled his expression, when Arthit walked towards the dining table. Fresh and in clean black joggers and full sleeve, white Henley. Hairs damp on his head. Looking rejuvenated.
Marilyn watched, as Kong stood by the centre chair holding it, flushing red for some reason. Waiting for Arthit to take the seat.
Arthit came and left a soft kiss against Kong's lips, before taking the seat. He turned towards Kongpob and left another kiss against Kong's belly, before facing everyone again.
While Kong turned rosy. Even on his dusky skin. As he quickly set Arthit's plate and served him bread with mashed potatoes and carrots, with thick chicken soup. He has already served the others.
Marilyn knew Arthit through Bright and after that Kongpob. She wasn't so close to Arthit, but she respected the man. She sometimes couldn't believe that in this time, someone can have a relationship like Arthit and Kongpob has. She sometimes assumed, they were into PDA. Because this can't be true.
But she has visited their house before. Seen the way they move around each other. The way Arthit would look at him, like... Marilyn didn't have words.
But she would always blush. Like she had seen something intimate between them. Even though they'd be far apart. And Kong wont be even looking or be aware of it.
And Marilyn couldn't believe, that love like that... Still existed.
Marilyn watched as Kong tried taking the next seat. But Arthit already grabbed his wrist and made him sit over Arthit's lap. His eyes so passionately deep, that Marilyn felt the fire in the eyes.. even from the distance.
Kong fidgeted, snapping his gaze everywhere blushing warm. As he shook his head at Arthit, trying to pry himself away. But Arthit wasn't having it... He held a blank face and made Kong sit sideways, carefully cradling the precious swell.
"Oon..." Kong whispered, wrapping his arms around Arthit's shoulders, sucking in his lips.
"Shut up..." Arthit pecked Kong's lips shut, putting his warm hand over Kong's belly. "I love you..."
"I love you too..." Kong's lips trembled, as he cupped Arthit's face with one hand. How he missed these words. "I love you so much..."
Arthit pulled Kong's face down and kissed his forehead tight, with a smile. Then faced around the table, flashing his brightest dimpled smile.
"Please start eating... Enjoy the best flavours, you have ever tasted..." Arthit smirked proudly.
Kong gaped and blushed furiously biting his lips, trying to hold in his smile. While the others chuckled, staring at Arthit's goofy smile.
"Someone needs to remind him... He isn't a teenager anymore." Marilyn mumbled not so subtly.
Arthit chuckled and Kong ducked his head, with a soft smile. "Stop flirting, you are going to be a dad soon..."
Arthit stared at Kong's face, his heart swelling with the words... The feeling that he won't be missing out on the most precious moments of his life. He held Kong tight and kissed his lips again.
"That won't stop you from being the sexiest thing alive..." Arthit smirked. "And that will definitely not stop me from attempting to swoon you, over and over..."
Kong gasped and clawed Arthit's shoulders, feeling butterflies. Along with an excited contraction, making him hide his face against Arthit's shoulder.
"Oh god..." Marilyn choked.
The others fell in fits of laughter, while Kong kept hiding himself. Biting on his lips, to hold himself from yelping with the sudden series of contractions and the way his husband, kept openly flirting with him, like a persuer. Sending his insides in waves of feelings. And pain.
Nathan watched the interaction with a soft smile, especially the cherished bearer in Arthit's arms... And couldn't help but wonder... Where he went wrong. And whether it's too late, to correct a little of the wrong that he committed in his life.
His eyes fell on the hazel pair, staring back at him... And the blue and hazel eyes kept colliding for a moment, until Nathan drew in a breath and resigned. Never leaving the hazel stare, slowly taking the spoon for drinking the normal soup, made with normal ingredients.
And the taste, reminded him of his childhood. His old home, his family and the humble and content life that they lived. The normal soup, made him almost choke with the emotions that tightened his throat. So he simply ducked his head and let himself savour it...
They were done eating and Marilyn volunteered to clear the table. Giving her most deadly glare when Kongpob tried getting up to help. The look alone made Kong sit back over Arthit's lap again.
The police officers and Nathan were gone. And Arthit asked Bright and Marilyn to stay back for the night. And rest. It's weekend, so it won't hurt.
He wasn't feeling tired anymore, as he sat on the living room couch, with Kong over his lap. He kept staring at Kong's sideface, leaned back. One hand resting over Kong's small of back, the other caressing Kong's belly.
Kong was answering endless calls from their friends. Especially Tutah and Ryan, who were on their way to Shellac. Arthit can see Kong squirming and continuously breathing through his mouth. Arching and hunching his back, every now and then.
His lovely face, pale and in obvious panic. As he tried to mask his uneasiness, for hours now. But Arthit can see through everything, that is Kongpob.
Arthit knows, Kong is in some kind of pain or discomfort, but was refusing to rest for Arthit. And Arthit felt giddy and annoyed at the same time. So, he did that one thing he wanted to do... He snatched away Kong's phone and cut the call.
Kong gaped at his phone, now laying face down on the couch next to Arthit. Then blinked at Arthit, who raised from his leaning position and cupped Kong's face with one hand. The other wrapped around his back.
Kong bit on his lips, to hold in his whimper with the now more stronger contractions as he met Arthit's deep hazel eyes. Their faces close, lips brushing and noses nudging together.
"Concentrate on me..." Arthit mouthed against Kong's mouth. Eyes taking in every corner of the beautiful face, dabbing his thumb over the cheek. "You didn't even kiss me, welcome home."
Kong blushed, licking his lips and resting their foreheads together. He felt so warm with the presence of Arthit, that he momentarily forgot about his pain. He gulped a lump, with a teary smile. Nudging their noses together.
"Welcome home, My dear..." Kong kissed Arthit's lips, spilling more unwelcomed tears. "We missed you so much."
"Hey baby..." Arthit mouthed, smiling against Kong's lips. "I thought I won't be able to see you anym..."
Kong covered Arthit's mouth with his hand, shaking his head with big fat tears. His fearful eyes looking back at Arthit's warm ones.
"Please...." Kong whispered, shaking his head. As he choked on his sobs. "Just please... I felt dead with the thought of your absence, Bhow... So please..." Kong put Arthit's hand over his swell, holding it there.
"You are our home, P'Arthit..." Kong kissed Arthit's nose. "So, Please don't remind us the feeling of being stripped off our everything... Don't remind us, the feeling of being homeless..."
Arthit closed his eyes, gripping Kong's neck tight and kiss him tighter on the lips. Then his forehead.
"Thank you for saving me again, sweetheart..." Arthit murmured against Kong's forehead. "Baby, thank you for bringing me back home..."
Arthit leaned down and kissed Kong's belly. "Thank you for bringing Daddy back home, Little Peas..."
Kong frowned, caressing Arthit's hairs as he wanted to ask what Arthit meant. But he gasped with wide jaws and hid his face against Arthit's shoulder, curling his toes, going completely stiff, with the blinding contraction that snapped through him. It shuddered him from head to toe.
Somehow thankful that Arthit hung up the call, that he didn't have to force his voice out anymore.
"You need to rest a little, Wild Flowers..." Arthit kissed Kong's neck.
"I am okay..." Kong whispered, though clawing Arthit's shoulder and back, with struggled breathes. "I am fine... Let's get you to bed... You need to rest..."
Arthit clenched his jaws and clawed the swell tenderly, cradling Kong closer. Feeling his ragged breathes and trembling body.
"I am not the one, nurturing our little joys, Baby..." Arthit whispered against Kong's ear. "I am not the one turned extremely beautiful this moment, sweetheart... I am not the one glowing... So I am definitely not the one to be in the need of rest..."
Kong gasped with a blush and with now blinding pain, as he broke in sweat. Starting to whimper, clawing Arthit's shoulder tight. He is only thirty two weeks in... It's early.
"It's too early, Little Peas... Too early, Loves... Please calm down... Wait a little longer..." Kong kept chanting in his head.
"Kongpob..." Arthit parted and frowned at Kong's now sweaty, pale face. "Hey... What's wrong? Whats-"
They halted and slowly stared at each other. Arthit's face going brightly blank, while Kong gasped with struggled breathes and now cutting pain, looking deep into his husband's eyes...
Feeling the wetness that spread through down him and wet Arthit's joggers along. Kong drew in shaky breathes, as he gripped Arthit's wrist and shoulder, feeling Arthit's touch still on his belly.
"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered, tearing up in pain. "It's still too early... But I am sorry... I can't hold it anymore..."
Arthit stared at the belly, then at Kong's sweaty face, contoured in pain. As he tried breathing through his mouth, staring at the belly. Then let out a guttural scream, arching and clawing wherever his hands reached on Arthit.
"P'Arthit..." Kong yelled, throwing his head back. "It's so painful... Make this stop..."
Arthit was frozen, as he looked at Kong going into early labor. Now starting to let out everything that he was holding in loud yells. Arching sideways in Arthit's arms, weeping and clawing Arthit's shoulder, chest.
"P'ARTHIT...." Kong sobbed. "PLEASE JUST PLEASE MAKE THIS STOP..."
Arthit was awestruck, looking at something so beautiful and hurting at the same time. The thought that his beautiful spouse was going through so much, just to get them these joyful bundles. To get Arthit a family... Like he promised, he will one day. And Arthit couldn't look away...
He just couldn't, no matter how monstrous he felt not actually doing anything about the situation. This feeling that surged inside him... This gutteral, deep, insatiable feeling that bubbled inside him... Made him dizzy...
Made him mesmerised with the thought that, someone can actually go beyond limits, to get happiness for him. To take in pain and discomfort, for his sake. For his little family... And he couldn't help but smile, with the feelings... And with the sight... To feel that he meant so much for this beautiful, beautiful human being.
Kong watched, Arthit's dark hazel eyes on himself... He can see Arthit's deep feelings, spiralling on his face. The satisfied smile and Kong couldn't help the blush that creeped up, making him squirm and curl his toes... With the pain and waves of feelings.
He let out another Yelp, thrashing his head around. Breaking in sobs. Why can't his husband be like other husbands? Why can't he go in a state of panic, with the thought of having babies on board...
"OON... OON PLEASE... I CAN'T, I CAN'T TAKE IT..."
Arthit felt a strong kick against his hold on Kong's belly. And he drew in a deep breath, leaning down and kissing over Kong's swell...
"A little longer, buddies..." Arthit straightened and stared at Kongpob, cradling him. "Finally..."
"BRIGHT... GET DOWN HERE... I NEED YOUR CAR..." Arthit called out, for their friends upstairs, all the while staring at Kong.
Kong screamed in pain this time, sobbing and thrashing, not being able to take it anymore. He felt like hundreds of knives being stabbed through him, along with getting drilled. And Arthit's carnal instincts, on his bearer finally giving birth... Wasn't helping...
Kongpob read about these instincts of providers, only in books... Why can't Arthit just be like normal husbands?
Kong let out another scream, cradling his belly and wailing now. Clawing Arthit's shoulder and back and wherever he could concentrate his pain on.
Arthit kissed Kong's forehead tight, with closed eyes and Kong can feel Arthit's lips moving against his forehead... In a low, muffled prayer. Which Arthit sealed with another tight kiss. And a caress over Kong's now heavy, stiff belly...
Kongpob gasped next, when Arthit came to his feet with him in Arthit's arms. Kong was surprised... And overwhelmed, but too much in pain to shy away.
"What's wrong?" Marilyn rushed downstairs, with bed hairs and pyjamas, with an equally disheveled Bright just behind. They must have been taking naps.
Kongpob jabbed his fist against Arthit's chest, curling his toes and hiding his face. Letting out another scream, thrashing about.
"Baby on board..." Bright's eyes widened.
"Babies... Bright..." Marilyn screeched, running downstairs. "Get the car..."
Bright stumbled back upstairs, to get his car keys. While Marilyn rushed towards the couple, with a screaming and crying Kongpob and a delighted looking Arthit. And Marilyn wanted to smack that instincts out of Arthit... This wasn't the time to be smitten.
"Arthit take him out... Where is his hospital bag?" Marilyn barked out.
"In the nursery..." Arthit replied, holding Kong closer, never once looking away. While Marilyn rushed to the nursery, to get Kong's supplies.
"P'Arthit..." Kong sobbed, throwing his head back. "Please make this stop... It's so painful..."
"I got you, Wild Flowers... A little longer..." Arthit felt a pang, above his first delights. "I got you, My Love..."
"Let's go... Let's go..." Bright rushed down, along with Marilyn coming out from the nursery. Carrying the bag.
Arthit walked out, carrying Kongpob, strangely not feeling any weight down him. Kongpob felt light, even with all the thrashing and screaming. Maybe Arthit was pumped up with adrenaline... Or he was too whipped on Kongpob, to actually feel anything else.
Bright held the back door open for Arthit and Kong. And Marilyn hoped in the seat first, helping Arthit settle Kong in. Arthit stared at Kong, then Marilyn, gulping a lump. Not liking the idea that he won't be around Kongpob.
"It's okay..." Marilyn caressed Arthit's hairs. "It's okay I got him..."
Arthit stared at Kong's tearful charcoal eyes, one arm around Kong's shoulders and the other threaded with Kong's fingers in a death grip. He pulled out his arm and caressed Kong's hairs, leaning down to kiss his forehead and lips.
"It will be over soon... Okay?" Arthit gave an encouraging smile, meeting Kong's gaze deep.
Kong groaned with clenched jaws, as he squirmed, holding in his wails. Keeping his eyes on his husband. Not leaving Arthit's hand and cradling his belly with the other.
He gave rapid nods to Arthit's encouragement and arched a little. Sniffling with trembling lips, shaking his head the very next moment, meeting Arthit's gaze. He couldn't hold his fake bravado any longer.
"Make this stop..." Kong cried. "I really can't..."
Arthit smiled kissing Kong's nose tip. "Be my brave soldier for a little longer... It will be over soon... I promise. Okay?"
Kong cried, biting his lips as he nodded letting go of Arthit's hand and cradling his belly now. Missing Arthit instantly, even though he was right next to him. Leaning against the seat, watching as Arthit put him on seatbelt and shut the door next to him.
Kong watched as Arthit took the front companion sit and Bright started the car. Arthit fixed the rearview mirror on Kong's face and Kong had to admit, he felt warm, given everything.
And when they were driving out the open gates, Kong felt a familiar dread.
"P'Arthit... The gates... The house is open..."
"Don't worry..." Arthit was already pulling out Kong's phone, from his joggers, dialling someone.
And within five painful minutes, Kong can see the black pick up truck, belonging to Levy and Joey racing towards them from the empty roads. Soon parking in a T shape, next to Bright's car. And Joey jumped out, rushing towards the car, as Arthit lowered the window on his side.
Kong heard as Arthit gave instructions and Joey nodded and asked Arthit to not worry, they had it covered. Then Joey took a peek of Kong, giving a smile and showing him two thumbs up.
Kongpob wanted to smile back, but he grimaced instead and let out a yelp. Bright hit the gas on que and Joey stepped back, watching as the car sped ahead. While Levi drove their car inside. Joey stepped in with a smile and stood facing the gate, until it locked shut in front of his eyes.
Nathan gulped a lump, as he watched his wife pacing around the living room, being on a call. Convincing continuosly. While he stood still in the middle. He jolted when Rebecca cut the call and glared his way.
"Whose body was it?" She hissed, baring her teeth. As she stormed towards Nathan, to stand toe to toe with him.
"WHOSE FUCKING BODY WAS IT?" Rebecca snarled.
Nathan looked at her for a moment, then crossed his arms. "A beggar..."
Rebecca grimaced at him in disgust. "You got me a filthy roadside bummer?"
"Why does it matter?"
"Because, he could have been swirming with diseases..."
"And Arthit doesn't?" Nathan tilted his head.
"NO HE DOESN'T..." Rebecca snapped, then closed her eyes. "It's okay... It's done... It happens sometimes. We will fix this... They gave us a chance. And we will not waste it..."
"WHY CAN'T..." Nathan snapped out, gathering all his courage. "Why can't we just let them be... I will get them a new bearer..."
Rebecca halted on her steps, as she slowly looked over at her husband and tilted her head.
"What did you say?"
Nathan closed his eyes and let out a breath, meeting Rebecca's eyes again. "I said, just let them be... We can get another bearer, who is expecting..."
Rebecca narrowed her gaze and pasted her body with her husband, slowly raising her hand and cupping Nathan's face.
"When was the last time, you failed doing a task?"
Nathan stiffened, but held his ground. "He came too strong..."
Rebecca smiled. "Ofcourse... Happens right? And it's not like, you want to get in the pants of Arthit's husband or something... Right?"
Nathan snapped his gaze at Rebecca. His eyes getting blood shot in a breath.
"Right?" Rebecca traced her finger down Nathan's chest, leaning her lips next to Nathan's ear. "Coz that'd be awkward... You do recall the feeds, from the speakers we dropped in their house. Right?"
Nathan closed his eyes, with clenched jaws.
"Arthit." Rebecca whispered. "Fucks your precious Kongpob, every night... So I am pretty sure... He isn't the tight hole, you are searching for..."
Rebecca parted and looked Nathan square in the eyes. "But you can have him all you want... Once that road block is out and he is in our clutches... You can have that abomination to your hearts content... Just get me what I want first..."
Rebecca looked over to walk away.
"Atleast he is normal..." Nathan spat, with ragged breathes and blinding rage.
Rebecca halted, going instantly stiff. But Nathan was too mad, too nose deep, too desperate to care. He just didn't care. So he continued.
"Atleast he is making Arthit a home... To walk in every night and feel comfortable..."
Rebecca slowly looked over and took ragged breathes. While Nathan looked back just as hard.
"Atleast he is giving Arthit a family... And not planning to destroy...." Nathan's voice shook, the horrors of the past flashing through his visions. "Or eat.... His own blood..."
Rebecca slapped Nathan right across his face. And Nathan took it unfazed. The hurt in Becca's eyes, not having any effect on Nathan anymore.
"You've changed... Are you planning on betraying me?" Becca hissed.
"I am just tired..." Nathan shrugged.
"If you betray... Don't forget... You are in it just as deep..." Rebecca warned.
"Like I said... Am just tired..."
Rebecca's jaws dropped. And her hurt and tears, got veiled with the sudden unsettling anger that she felt. The betrayal, the desperation, the need to complete the task, so her ass won't be at the oven. And she breathed fire with bloodshot eyes, as she met with her husband's defiant blue ones.
"It's all his fault..." Rebecca hissed, clawing her hairs. "It's all that fucking filth's fault... He is ruining everything..."
Nathan looked away... Not caring or having the energy to soothe his wife, although he knows that, that's exactly what Rebecca wanted. His only concern being, that he just wanted to leave and let that family out of this mess. And he didn't mind executing a plan.
"It's all his..." Rebecca halted on her curses. As they both heard a muffled scream, coming from outside.
They slowly shared a glance. Becca's with a crazy glint and Nathan's masked with horror. And Rebecca sprinted towards the living room window, Nathan just behind. As they peeked out of their windows curtain.
They can clearly see, Arthit carrying out a screaming Kongpob and putting him inside the car. They kept watching as the car drove past. And their helper shut the gates of the house.
Rebecca looked over with a wide grin. And Nathan instantly shook his head at her, almost begging.
"Becca please... I will get you a new bearer... Just please let them be..."
Rebecca bared her teeth in rage, as he pushed Nathan back. "GO WEAR A FUCKING THONG AND GET YOURSELF FUCKED FOR TWO DOLLARS... YOU FUCKING, OPURTUNISTIC PUSSY..."
Nathan didn't mind. He held his wife tight in his arms, ignoring the growls and jabs. And did that thing... That he has been doing for almost two months now.
"Let's just go..." Nathan whispered his pleads for the millionth time. "Let's go and start anew... Where no one knows us... Where no one can control us."
Rebecca went stiff. Her raging insides subsiding a little with her husband's warmth. Liking the sound of the new life, from the time Nathan started begging for it.
She knew, it started because Nathan got to see the way Arthit and Kongpob lived. And she always knew, Nathan craved for a normal life. He kept masking it... Until he got to see and know Kongpob.
That bearer triggered Nathan's yearns tenfolds. And though Becca dominated and forced, she knew her anger for Kongpob was just her way of defence... She knew, that the yearning was there in Nathan from long, long back.
She liked the sound of the castles made of cloud, that Nathan drew for her... But, clouds aren't parmanent and you drop head first on the ground from thousands of feets, if you decide on living in it...
So, she can't stop...
"Please..." Nathan whispered.
She can't let go... Knowing they will be forever chased and they will be forever on the run, even if they disappeared in a place with no signal. They will forever be watched.
"I will make sure you stay happy..." Nathan murmured, with thick voice. "We will make a new life..."
Rebecca drew in shaky breathes... As she held back all her tears. She can't do it, she has to protect him... He was in this mess because of her... Because he promised to always be by her side. He didn't deserve this...
And though he thought, Rebecca has heart of stone... He will never know, that Nathan for Rebecca... Is just same as the way... Arthit... Is for Kongpob.
"I will forever be by your side..."
And it's too late... Rebecca closed her eyes and pushed away... Too damn late.
"It's too late..." Rebecca replied blankly, refusing to meet Nathan's stare.
"It's not..." Nathan tried to hold Becca back.
"It is..." Becca glared at Nathan. "Too damn late."
"Becc..."
"Stop..." Rebecca raised her hand. "Just stop... You want to step away, I won't stop you... But I am not..."
Nathan ran a hand through his hairs, struggling to hold in his frustrated tears. Even Becca felt her lips tremble, but she held it in, as she drew in a breath and caught a hold of herself.
"So... I am going. And doing what I am meant to do, for saving us..." Rebecca spoke with thick voice. "And you... Do what you are supposed to, for doing the same."
Nathan snapped his gaze at Becca and his jaws dropped as she gasped in a cold breathe.
"What are you..."
"MY husband... Doesn't fail his job, no matter how strong the other came to be..." Rebecca gave a proud smile. "So, I know..."
"Becky..." Nathan whispered.
"Like I said... You do what you want to... I'll do the same..." Rebecca kept stepping back.
"We can have their favour, if they get that bloody bearer and his pups... We can be free in a way..." Becca sniffed. "It's them over us... And you know my answer..."
"Rebecca let's talk about this..." Nathan whispered, trying to coax Becca. "Please..."
"Wish me luck Nat... If you still wish for it..." Rebecca walked away.
"REBECCA..." Nathan screamed after. "BECKY DON'T... LISTEN TO ME..."
Rebecca was already away from earshot. And Nathan was left growling his tears of frustration... As he broke and punched the table, concentrating all his anger in it.
"FUCCCKKKK!!!" He growled, pulling his hairs, kicking and punching, anything in his reach.
Kong thrashed, arching as he cradled his belly and bit his lip to hold his scream but failed again. Letting out a shrill cry, breaking in sobs. The hospital was about forty five minutes away. But with the way Bright was shooting his car ahead, he knew they'll be there before time.
Also the warm stare he felt on himself from the rearview was a relief too. Arthit hasn't looked away for a single time, from the get go. His expressive hazel eyes filled with awe and wonder. With tinch of regret.
"P'Arthit..." Kong screamed. "It hurts so much... So much..."
Arthit turned towards the back of the car, leaning back and putting his warm soothing hand over Kong's belly. Dabbing his thumb on it.
"Ssshhh..." Arthit whispered. "It will be over soon. I promise... Baby... Trust your husband..."
Marilyn dabbed away the sweat from Kong's face and his sweat slicked hairs. Continuosly caressing his hairs and whispering encouraging words. Which Kong didn't find any helping. The pain was overwhelming.
He shot up and gripped Arthit's hand all of a sudden, as he stared at Arthit's eyes letting out the loudest screech with the blinding pain that shot through him.
Arthit's reached both his hands back for Kong to hold and concentrate his pain on the grip. His beautiful face, morphed in pure agony, wet with sweat and tears as he let out screams after screams. Loud, ugly screams. And yet...
Arthit never saw something so gorgeous before... Never.
"Make this stop..." Kong's voice came out as strangled breathes, as he weeped. "Please... I can't take it... I can't..."
Kong slumped back, slowly drooping his eyes, his hold loosing on Arthit's hands. As he breathed with struggle, whimpering ever softly cradling his belly and breathing through his mouth.
"Wild Flowers..." Arthit panicked, reaching back. "Baby... Talk to me... FASTER BRIGHT... Kongpob hang in there Love... We are almost there. Please..."
"Arthit he is loosing consciousness..." Marilyn panicked. "Bright, he is..."
"Kongpob... Hang in there, buddy... I promise we are almost there..."
Arthit pulled out the phone never looking away from Kong, who was whimpering and breathing through his mouth. Trying hard to keep his eyes open and focussing on Arthit's face.
Arthit dialled their doctor's number again, glad that he got answered in the third ring.
"Arthit?"
"Kit... Kit, he is loosing consciousness..." Arthit snapped.
"What?! Damnit Arthit... How far are you?"
"Ten more minutes..."
"That's... Okay. Okay... Everything is ready here... I am sending Beam with an ambulance... He is off duty and he will meet you halfway... Assist, if needed. Okay?"
"Okay..." Arthit nodded blankly.
"Keep him conscious Arthit... Keep him aware. Stay strong... You hear me?"
"Yes..."
"Great... Help is on the way... Get here soon... NURSE..."
The line went dead and Arthit stuffed the phone back in his pocket, staring at Kong...
"Wild Flowers, what are we going to name our children?" Arthit whispered. "Remember how I wanted to name them after famous cars?"
Kong gave a faint smile, then moaned in pain. Whimpering and struggling for breathes again.
"That's expected of you..." Marilyn brittled, caressing Kong's belly. "You are awfully childish sometimes..."
"Baby..." Arthit whined. "She is being mean to me."
"Coz you fucking deserve it..."
"LANGUAGE BRIGHT!!" Marilyn and Arthit reprimanded together.
Kong let out a faint chuckle, his face slick with tears and sweat. As he groaned and let out soft cries.
"You aren't the Godfather anymore..." Arthit hissed, continuing to caress Kong's hand.
"HOLY SHIT!"
"WATCH OUT!"
Bright and Marilyn screamed together. And things went in a flash... It felt so sudden that Arthit felt time stop, as the car swerved on the dirt road...
Kong gasped in panic and dread, as he cradled his belly with one hand and gripped Arthit's hand with the other... Never once looking away from Arthit's face.
Praying... He didn't want to die... Not yet...
Arthit went wide eyes as he looked around once, then back at Kong, holding tight on his hand. While Marilyn stared at her husband, who was all but getting all the control needed on the car.
Time seemed to have slowed down for the four of them... As they watched everything a fraction slower... Hearing the loud beats of their hearts against their ears, until Bright got control of the car. Pulling it's break before they crashed. And then, everything went silent.
Kong trembled, while the others looked around to make sense of things. With Arthit staring unfazed at Kong's tearful face. Who looked back, just as fearfully. Continuing to dab his thumb over his belly.
He looked a little away and got a clear view through the windshield. The outside of the car now surrounded with gush of dust, caused by the sudden tire stunt, thankful that the windows were shut.
Kong's eyes widened as he saw what made the car almost crash. And a silent gasp left his mouth, the blinding pain momentarily forgotten. The fear of the crucial moment, settling in him like a heavy rock... As he began to tremble, gripping Arthit's hand tight.
Arthit followed Kong's gaze and finally saw what scared his husband so much. His jaws clenched and eyes narrowed as he straightened on his seat and looked out.
"Who are they?" Marilyn spoke out in a panicked voice.
Bright and Arthit shared a glance and looked ahead again. Facing three figures, standing stark on the middle of the road. Wearing all black and those creepy masks.
Carrying barbed wire wrapped baseball bats and the shorter one in the middle, was holding a gun. They stood about ten feets away from the car.
It was visible under the late afternoon sun, that peered through the thick outline of trees on both sides of the road. And everything stopped as they continued staring at each other. Not knowing where to stop this all.
Kong was cradling his belly, clenching his jaws as he felt how scared and restless their kids were. And he also felt how badly they wanted come out. It was becoming so painful, that he was close to fainting. He can't take it anymore.
He let out a scream, breaking the stupor. Letting out strangled sobs... Arching and calling for Arthit.
Marilyn cried too, holding Kongpob. She jolted next in surprise, when a figure slapped it's face against Kong's side window, followed by two more. Trying to open the car. Which was thankfully locked...
And Marilyn's eyes widened as she stared at the creepy form against the window. Her vision blurring with the hot tears gushing out of her eyes.
And Kong was so much in pain that it blocked, all his other senses to notice anything... As he thrashed his head about.
But Marilyn noticed. She saw everything. Even though they were wearing masks, Marilyn saw their eyes... The hunger and thirst in those eyes. The look of pure predator, as they caressed over the window, their eyes fixed... on Kongpob.
Like they wanted him, the way a man hungry for months wants food. Marilyn's jaws dropped, as she struggled for breathes. She never saw something so vile and raw before... Never.
She let out a scream herself, hugging Kong closer. Trembling from head to toe, feeling violated on behalf of Kong.
"Go AWAY..." Marilyn cried. Trying to hide a distressed Kongpob and his swell, as much as she could. "BOO... MAKE THEM GO AWAY."
"Arthit..." Kong sobbed, blind to whatever was going around him. "Please..."
"HE IS READY..." There was a muffled scream from outside. "I WANT THE BEARER..."
"Marly... Cover him and yourself." Arthit passed a blanket from Kong's hospital bag.
Marilyn took it from Arthit, sobbing and trembling but stopped again. Staring through the windshield, her eyes going wide... Looking at one of them pull a gun towards the car, only about five feets away now.
Kongpob saw this too... Making a little sense with his hazy mind as he looked at the gun, then at the back of Arthit's head. His lips trembling as he wondered... Why this was happening to them. He tried to reach his hand towards Arthit... But he seemed too far... And he didn't want Arthit to die... Not like this.
Arthit went through so much... Kong wanted to give these bundles of joys to him... To make him see how he brings everything to life... HE didn't want to die... He wanted to share their Little Peas and the joy of being their parents...
"Bhow..." Kong whispered.
There was a muffled bang on que, as Arthit looked back to meet Kong's gaze. Reaching his hand out and grabbing Kong's outstretched ones. Gripping tight, as the platinum band glimmered around his left ring finger. A firey anger consuming his hazel eyes.
"Are we gonna die?" Marilyn cried, closing her eyes.
And they heard a pop, against the windshield. But no sound of shattering glasses or the sound of bullet, piercing through someone's flesh.
Everything felt silent again. As they slowly peeked through the windshield again. There was no sign of the glass breaking with the impact of bullet. Even those vile creatures looked confused as they shared gazes, then stared at the car again.
"Bullet proof glasses, you fucking bitches..." Bright hissed under his breath, through clenched jaws. "No one's dying..."
Marilyn shivered, as Bright raved the engine next... Like a warning, gazing straight at those figures.
The pure malice in her otherwise fun loving husband, shivering her to the core. As she teared up, holding Kong tight.
"Not today..." Bright growled under his breath. "Not on my watch... I have had enough..."
"Kongpob..." Bright looked over once. "Close your eyes..." He looked at his wife's tearful eyes next... Then looked ahead, without another word. Kicking on the accelerator next.
The three masked figures latched on Kong's side window, seemed to have gotten the picture... As they screamed and banged on the side of Kong's window... Who looked away, hugging himself. Sobbing in extreme pain and unfiltered fear, not daring to open his eyes once. Wanting nothing more than hiding in Arthit's arms.
While Arthit kept staring blankly at the smallest of them all. The one holding the gun. The pair of bright blue eyes, that looked back. And he fisted his knuckles, clenching his jaws.
Arthit didn't want to believe, but his heart... He looked back at Kongpob and his trembling body and felt a blinding anger course through him.
He looked ahead again and raised his chin. "Kill them if need be..."
"Oh very thankfully..." Bright raced ahead.
The shorter one started blindly shooting now... But to no avail, as Bright saw red, wanting nothing but to run his tires over those leeches. While one of them pulled the shorter creep out of Bright's way. Pushing them closer to the line of trees.
Bright felt thankful that his car's glasses didn't break, when they started banging on it with those bats. But Bright knew, everything has its limits. So they needed to be out before it's too late.
But, to his greatest regret, he saw something which broke his heart. He kicked on the breaks, as he saw blue uniforms, rushing out of the thick forest. With raised guns and commands so loud... That they can hear it, even from the insides of their soundproof space.
Spoiling Bright's wish of being an outlaw.
Bright was so pumped up, that he failed to notice the shortest of them all, slowly slithering in the protection of the heavy bushes. While the others started getting pushed to the ground, with twisted arms.
But Arthit saw... He did... He kept watching as the figure slowly disappeared in the thickness of the woods.... Looking back straight into Arthit's eyes... Until it can't be seen anymore.
Arthit didn't know, why he did what he did... But he kept silent about it... Just staring... Without a single word.
Clenching his fists so hard, that he felt his nails digging in his palms... a rage bubbling so heatedly, that he felt deaf to Kong's screams. Seeing red, with a maddening ringing buzzing against his ears.
"Are you okay?" Arthit can hear muffled, distant voices on his side.
He knew, they were getting help... He can hear the distant sound of the approaching ambulance. He can hear his friends calling him... He can hear Kong screaming his name...
But a growl in his head didn't let him look away from the place, where the person who tried to end his whole family... disappeared to.
"Stretcher.... Move Move... We need to get him to the hospital..."
That seemed to have caught Arthit's attention. As he looked away, over his shoulder... Eyes resembling pits of hell. As he watched people preparing to carry Kong away.
"DON'T. TOUCH. HIM..." He snarled through his clenched jaws, in syllables.
That sound, stopped anyone from stepping in the vicinity of wailing Kongpob. As they stared at Arthit. Arthit opened the seatbelt and came out of the car, banging the door shut behind. As he walked around the car... Focussing on one sound... His eyes, fixed on the maskless faces now... Held by the authorities.
"Mr. Rojnapat..."
"Move..." Arthit didn't care who it was, as he pushed the person away. Opening the backseat. Instantly grimacing, with the sight of his love's face.
Marilyn was too shocked to move but she did cover Kong. While Bright dragged her out.
"Hey sweetheart... Heyy...." Arthit whispered, carrying Kong out. "Ssshhh... Shhh... It's all over... I promise..."
Adrenaline, rage... Arthit didn't care, he felt so pumped up. So dreaded with the thought of everything that went about that he cradled Kong tighter. Carrying him towards the waiting ambulance. Beam waiting just outside.
Everything making him see white, as he kept struggling to keep focussing on Kong's voice. Though they were painful, loud screams. Though he can feel Kong slowly limping in his arms. His voice getting hoarse and breathy. Didn't matter, because that was the only voice he needed that moment.
Kongpob can feel Arthit's warm hand gripping onto his own, as he thrashed his head around not able to stop his ugly screams. As the bright hospital corridor pierced through his eyes, as they wheeled him towards the operation theatre. As he kept hearing Arthit's soft voice, encouraging him and promising him the world.
The pain being so unbearable that Kong saw white and his head banged his skull. But he tried to hold on, not giving in the urge to just faint. He kept holding on to himself and to Arthit's hand. Tight... Not ready to let go.
So, he knew when Arthit left his hand and he screamed louder, trying to get that touch back. While he felt other hands, lifting him and putting things on him. He hated it. He was scared, terrified and so much in pain. And when he didn't feel Arthit's presence it didn't help much.
But that feeling soon washed away, as he soon felt the warm hand gripping onto one of his own. And a kiss on his forehead.
"I am here, Wild Flowers... It's okay... You are doing really great..."
Kongpob tried to make sense and look at the pale face, smiling down on him. With the prominent dimples. Though hazy and blurry, he recognised his husband over all the other horrible things that was going around.
"Arthit..." He let out a breathy whisper.
"Yes..." He felt another kiss. "Let's get our Little Peas to the world. Okay?"
"IT'S SO PAINFUL... I HATE YOU SO MUCH... IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT..." Kong sobbed, gripping Arthit's hand tight.
"I know..." Arthit kissed Kong's nose tip. "I am sorry... Just a little longer okay?"
Kong choked on his sobs but gave a nod. Arthit shared a glance with Kit and he nodded, going with the procedures. While, Arthit tried to control all his emotions that spiralled inside him, from the time Kit informed him that there will be complications. And it might lead to Arthit signing consent.
Arthit clenched his jaws, with closed eyes. Feeling Kong's death grip on his own hand. And he did something... Which he last did, years back for just a glimpse of Kongpob... He prayed...
He prayed for taking away all of Kong's pain. He prayed for Kong's and his Little Peas safety... He prayed... Just prayed.
Bright frowned, hearing whatever the police was informing him about their sudden arrival. Apparently they got an anonymous tip... And they didn't take chance of it being a prank call.
Bright stayed to give all the statements that they needed and kept an eye on his extremely shaken wife. All the while waiting outside the operation theatre. Watching as the nurses rushed in and out of the theatre.
"Okay... We will give you a call, when things are stable here..." Bright shook his hand with the chief and watched as they left the hospital.
Marilyn straightened and dropped her gaze, when Bright sat next to her. She closed her eyes, with trembling lips when Bright held around her waist and pulled her closer for comfort.
"It's okay now..." Bright whispered, kissing her head.
Marly sobbed, turning her face against Bright's chest. And Bright held her tight... Whispering soft assurances and kissing her head continuously.
Kong gasped, hearing a loud cry, which wasn't his. And he felt a pang against his chest with the sound, as he looked towards Arthit... Who he was sure to be mirroring his own expression. A look of pure love and bliss... Content bliss.
But Kong didn't have much time to enjoy that feeling for long, as he arched in pain again... Giving the last of what was left in him... and snapped his eyes at the bright lights overhead, when he heard another cry. The enclosed room now filled with babies cries.
Kongpob fell back, now given up and exhausted with soft sobs and struggled breathes, hearing Kit giving time of births. Continuing to feel Arthit's grip on his hand. He looked sideways, meeting Arthit's gaze. His hazel eyes glassy with tears and a triumphant smile, adorning his face.
"Want to hold them?"
Kong heard Kit's soft voice and he slowly looked besides Arthit, as Kit held a mass of flesh covered in mucus and blood... Wailing continuosly. Followed by another doctor, carrying another familiar wailing mass. They looked so fragile and tiny...
Kong felt dizzy and wanted to pass out... Every cell of his body hurting like a roadkill. But the look of awe in Arthit's face, as he looked at the baby in Kit's then at Kit... Was a pleasure to gratifying to miss...
Seemingly nervous, as he rubbed his palm on the blue surgical gown he was wearing. Apparently, no matter how many parental classes you take... The real deal can still wreck you.
Also the fact that he was in awe himself... Looking at the form of life he nurtured... Everything seeming so surreal, that he felt he can wait a little longer before fainting.
"Here..." Kit gently placed the baby in Arthit's arms. Their baby... "Congratulations... They are boys..."
Arthit was long lost, staring at the fragile little thing in his arms. Now calmer and blinking his eyes, squirming and cooing in Arthit's arms.
And he teared up, hugging it close to his chest. Staring at the spent and exhausted, beautiful face of his spouse... Looking back at him with tired eyes, struggling to stay conscious.
Kong gave a faint smile, raising his arms towards the other doctor. Who gave him their other baby more than willingly. Kong held it with shaky arms, as he stared at the beady eyes looking around. Laying over his chest. So small yet holding all the power there is... Over the both of them.
"Hey..." Kong whispered. "Hey Little Pea, welcome to the world..." Kongpob felt he can fight against anything for them. "I love you so much."
Kong felt another kiss on his head and he closed his tearful eyes, holding the small mass of happiness firmly. Slowly opening his eyes and looking back at the warm and equally tearful hazel eyes.
"Adam and Danny?" Arthit asked softly. As he kept cradling their other baby in his arms, leaning down and resting their foreheads together.
"Adam and Danny..." Kong nodded, with closed eyes and a faint smile. Holding the soft, cuddly thing over his chest.
"I need to get them to the prenatal care, guys... They need to be cleaned and observed..."
Arthit and Kongpob shared a glance. Then Arthit stared at Kit with wide, unsure eyes. Straightening and holding the baby in one arm, putting another hand over the other child with Kongpob.
While Kong kept looking at Arthit, he never saw so much fear in Arthit's eyes... Unless it's him... Or now... Their Little Peas.
Kong felt a giddy lump, with the warmth that spread through his chest. As he realised, how much they were loved.
"They are fine, you big Teddy..." Kit smiled, opening his arms towards Arthit. "You can see them soon... They just need some extra care now..."
Arthit stared at their children, then at Kit... Honestly, he didn't want them out of sight. After having the experience of almost losing their children, Kongpob and his own life. He felt really scared, of letting any of them out of his reach.
So he gently shook his head at Kit, with tearful eyes. Holding his children.
"It's okay, Arthit." Kit stepped up with a soft sigh. "They will be with me... Trust me..."
"But..."
"It's okay, P'Arthit..." Kong spoke with a hoarse voice, allowing the other doctor to take away Danny.
"No..." Arthit almost whined, sniffing and choking on his breathe. "No..."
Arthit caressed the tiny face, his eyes blurring and chest contracting so painfully. He waited so long... He almost lost them... How can he let go? No...
"It's okay Arthit..." Kong tried to reach out... ALL the exhaustion finally giving in.
Arthit looked at Kong, then back at Kit. Who waited patiently, with spread arms. "Your children are preemie, Arthit. They need care..."
Arthit closed his eyes and kissed Adam's head, staring at Danny as he passed Adam to Kit. He kept watching, as they carried their kids away, he felt like being skinned mildly. Watching without batting a single lash.
Until he felt a tug on his clothe. He looked over to find Kong's struggling form. And he immediately leaned down with concerned eyes. Kissing Kong's nose tip and forehead.
"Thank you, Wild Flowers... For these wonderful gifts..." Arthit caressed Kong's hairs
"You do know, I can never hate you... Right?" Kong whispered, slowly feeling his eyes shutting.
"I know... I love you..."
"Arthit I..." Kong's grip slowly loosened as he started limping.
"I know..." Arthit sniffed and rubbed away his tears. "I will be here... I got you... All of you..."
Kong gave a soft smile, knowing Arthit was right there... No matter what. And they are safe.
Kongpob completed his third round around the neighborhood. Planning on taking another run, determined to loose all his extra calories.
The sun was already high up in the sky and he waved at few of the familiar faces that passed by. Finally deciding on heading back home.
It's been extremely quiet... No feeling of dread, no anxiety, no more news of missing persons... Everything was still and calm again. For the last eight months.
Their house was secured like a central prison, with Levi and Joey, being their constantly. Using the staff quarters, Arthit got built for them. They were like guards. And Kongpob didn't mind, not even when he knew one of them was still with him... Running with him.
Kongpob didn't mind all the extra care. He didn't. He is just enjoying the endless warmth of his family now. His husband and their two, very handsome boys. He didn't care about anything else.
He didn't care to recall those horrible moments that they went through... Though he still gets nightmares of that day, he didn't give strength to those awful memories to manifest themselves to be Kong's trauma. He didn't give those memories, that power.
Kongpob just wanted to leave back everything and keep going. And he did just that, holding firmly onto Arthit's hand. Who helped him and their Little men with his all. Like always. So he didn't want anything to do with those time.
He even recalls, what he said to those officers, when they came to visit him after he gained consciousness in the hospital.
"I don't want to know anything about them... I don't want anything to associate us with THOSE... You can update my husband, if he allows you to.. otherwise I have no interest to know..."
And that's exactly how it remained. He knows that his husband must have known something, that made him raise more of his guard.... But he never asked and Arthit never said. They kept their silent agreement intact.
Kong stared at the house opposite to theirs, as their houses came into view. Everything seemed calm and quiet now... Even the Garners. Who seemed much less nosy or bothering... Becoming just simple neighbours. And to Kong's utter horror, he found himself sometimes waving at Nathan. Though he completely ignores Rebecca's very existence now.
"See you..." Kong waved at Joey, as he jogged inside the house. Frowning instantly.
The house was quiet... Awfully quiet. So Kong rushed inside the nursery, to check on Danny and Adam. His heart skipping on it's beats. He gasped and covered his mouth, when he found the nursery fully empty. Kong pushed back and started rushing around, with frantic breathes.
Where were they?
There's no way, they went somewhere. Then... Kong stops, at the door of their bedroom... Instantly gasping and smiling in relief with the sight.
Arthit was asleep over the fuzzy bean bag, the early, summer morning sun sipping through the light curtains that pulled over their glass wall. It was illuminating the room and his family.
Arthit was in his black pyajama, without any tee. The dark tattoos spiralling around every corner of his pale torso and arms.
But the sight which made this hottest sight, the sweetest thing, were the two white onesie wearing bundles, lying face down on their father's chest... Completely asleep.
With both their dogs curled around the little space around the bean bag, over the platform. And Kong didn't know, he was yearning for this sight... For this feelings.... He felt so complete... That he didn't want this moment to ever run.
He quickly pulled out his phone and clicked a photograph of the sight. Rubbing away the warm gushing tears that wet his face.
Kong kicked open his runners and rushed towards the platform. He is a part of Arthit's warmth too. And he is taking it. As he lied over Arthit's chest, gently settling between Arthit's slightly parted legs. And closed his eyes, sighing in content, sniffing in the mask of woods...
"Kongpob?" Arthit croaked in his morning voice, stiring a little.
"Ssshhh..." Kong kissed Arthit's chest. "It's Saturday, go back to sleep.
"Hmmm..." Arthit wrapped his arms around everyone, cradling his whole family. As he kissed Kong's head and soon started softly snoring again.
Kong smiled, kissing the tiny faces. Lying back again. Knowing very well, that once all his boys wakes up... The whole house will be a chaos.
And he is not going to trade it for anything in the whole wide world... This warmth and this beautiful home and family is all that Kongpob cared about. He didn't care about anything else.
