I loved him and I told him. He may have been out of it but still. He was the first person I had said I'd loved over five years ago and I hoped he'd be the last person I loved like this.

I am predictable though, I should have known this was going to happen quickly. Jason is irresistible, he's charming, respectful, and sweet. Yet, here I am laying in his bed next to him, thank goodness I wasn't facing him.

I turned over so I was facing him and he stirred, still not awake, I tapped him gently on the shoulder and he groaned.

"Jason, It's 9:30. Don't you have work?" I asked and he sat up abruptly.

"What?!? It's 9:30?" He said frantically, jumped out of bed, and ran toward the bathroom, to presumably get ready for his day at work.

After about five or ten minutes I decided to get out of bed and I knocked on the bathroom door where Jason had been.

"Hey, I'm gonna make some coffee. You want some?" I offered.

"Yes, please," he said muffled and gurgly. I think he was brushing his teeth. I laughed to myself and found my way to the kitchen. Jason's kitchen was beautiful. It looked like any other modern kitchen with a large island in the middle. There were some added features like a wine fridge, double ovens, and an espresso machine.

I looked around for instructions on how to work his espresso machine and found nothing. This was way too complicated for me. So I just sat on the island and waited for Jason to teach me.

"Hey, Lee you got the coffee made?" He called coming into the kitchen. He noticed me sitting on the island empty-handed.

"I take that as a no..." He smirked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know how to work your coffee machine," I stated blankly.

"Want me to teach you?" He offered, I nodded my head yes.

He grabbed my hand and led me over to the counter where the coffee machine was placed and started teaching me.

"You put the ground coffee in this," He showed, standing behind me, guiding my hands.

He showed me all the rest and by the end of it, I just turned around. Now that we were facing each other I looked up, kissed him, and said, "Good, now I know you know how to make coffee, you can make it for me!" I laughed.

I went to leave his embrace he stopped me and kissed me once again. This kiss was tender and sweet.

"Baby, I'll make your coffee anytime if you kiss me like that," He smiled ending our kiss.

We shared our coffee and he went into his office and started to work. I noticed his door open and overheard him talking, so I went to eavesdrop of course.

"Yes, sir, I'm so grateful you've agreed to this. I will get a place in Naperville immediately." Jason said into his phone.

After a few more moments he said, "I can start next Monday. That's no problem."

"Ok thank you, sir, goodbye." He said as he hung up the phone.

I was leaning in the doorway and reconfigured my feet to a more comfortable position and the doorframe creaked, he turned to see what the noise was.

"So, any reason in particular you'd be so happy to live in Naperville?" I inquired smirking a little, but not enough that he would notice.

"Hmmm, I don't know only my girlfriend lives there." He flirted back shrugging his shoulders. "I do like to spend time with her sometimes."

"Ok for real though Jason you weren't going to tell me you were moving?" I asked a little bit unsure of why he didn't tell me.

"It wasn't set in stone and I was waiting to tell you until it was for sure. Lee Lee, I am now a partner at Deering, Harper, and now McCartney law firms." He stated. "I'm buying a place in Naperville where I, and hopefully you'll live."

"Jason oh my goodness, congratulations, babe!!! That is amazing, I'm so proud of you." I smiled and hugged him.

"Thanks, so you wanna go house hunting with me?" He said.

"I think we should talk about this. I can't just move in with you ya know. We just got back together Jason. Raina can't afford our rent on her own and I'd feel bad leaving her this sudden." I responded logically and calmly.

"I know Lee, I don't want to pressure you into that, and, I'd never want you to do something you aren't comfortable with. I know you don't want to live with me until we're married." He said sending me an understanding look. "But, I'd still like it if you went to look at some houses with me as someday you'll be my bride and you'll have to live there. What do you say?"

"Thank you for understanding babe. I would love to go house hunting with you," I smiled kissing him.

"Hey, Jason?" I said breaking our kiss.

"Yes, baby?" He inquired. We stared into each other's eyes.

"Never mind," I said, kissing him again. I was going to say I love you, but I couldn't, what if he didn't love me back or felt the same way? I'd ruined everything.

"So what should we do the rest of the day?" Jason asked once we were finished sucking on each other's faces.

"This is your city, McCartney, show me what you do around here," I said smiling.

He thought for a moment and smiled, I wonder what had just popped into his mind.

"Let's go out for burgers, I know a real good place. Then, we can go roller skating at the rink here in town. How does that sound?" He asked for my approval.

"Sounds like a date," I said with a wink and giggled.

"Well Miss Wynn, I do always enjoy a date with you," He said flirting. I rolled my eyes. The thing about Jason I really loved was he never flirted with anyone else. He was just a flirt to me, and I loved him so much because he was extremely loyal.

"Lemme go change and then we can go," I said dismissing myself. I couldn't wait for the night that was coming. Jason always had a way of making this more fun and adventurous. I wonder what other things he didn't mention that'll happen tonight.

A/N: Another Chapter is here, I can't believe we're 12 chapters in already! I'm excited to see whats in store for Jason and Annalee.
