Adrien's POV

I was on patrol with Ladybug as Chat Noir of course. I decided I should confess my love to her. We were on top of a random roof top. I was staring at her as the moonlight lit  up her face and eyes. She turned to me and I saw love but something else confusion.

Chat: M'lady

Ladybug: yea

Chat: I have something to tell you

Ladybug: what

Chat: I love you and whoever you are under the mask I love you for you

Ladybug: oh Chat I love you too but

Chat: but what

Ladybug: I love someone else as well and I need to make up my mind

Chat; I understand you love me as a friend and used that excuse just to make me feel better I'm fine

Ladybug: no Chat I swear it's the truth

Chat: then who is he

Ladybug: can't say I don't want you doing something

Chat: another excuse don't worry I'm fine bye Ladybug

I saw the pain in her eyes and she looked like her heart broke. But she shouldn't be feeling like that.  She tried to pity me. I then went home and detranformed I knew I  shouldn't have gotten my hopes up she'll never love a stupid ally cat like me.

( morning)

I woke up still pretty upset with her. But I feel like I did something wrong that look on her face. Probably just my kindness part of my conscious. I got ready and went to school. Then I saw Nino and Alya and went up to them with a fake smile. They seem to be convinced I was my usual happy self.  Then Marinette came to us we all looked shocked she was like 25 minutes early.  But I noticed something her hair was down and mid back and she had different clothes.

Alya: gurl why are you here I mean I'm proud but i didn't think this day would  happen so soon

Marinette: I didn't really have much sleep and woke up at 7 and didn't bother to go back to sleep put my hair in pigtails or gather my usual outfit just grabbed random pieces of clothing i don't even have matching socks I'm just out it have a lot on my mind

I noticed Marinette hair was nice and wavy.

Marinette: oh I almost forgot hey guys

Nino: sup dudette

Adrien: hi Marinette

Marinette then looked at me funny and she stared for a little.

Marinette: Adrien what's wrong

Adrien: what do you mean

Marinette: your smile is fake and I  hear it in your voice and see it in your eyes what's wrong

Man she's good Alya and Nino looked at her shocked.

Alya: you didn't stutter

Marinette: so Adrien

Adrien: it's nothing trust me what about you , you seem upset

Marinette: don't worry about me I'm fine but what about you are you fine because if you're not I'm not I know you're not fine ( starts crying) excuse me I have to go ( runs into school)

Alya: oh it might be that time of the month for her

Adrien: I hope she's ok

We then decided to go to class. Marinette walked into the classroom two minutes early. Her eyes, nose, cheeks,were red and puffy. Her eyes glistening still. Chloe then started to laugh.

Chloe: look at Maritrash looking like zombie tomato awww has the cry baby been crying

Marinette: leave me alone Chloe

Chloe: what are you going to do about it cry and what is that going to do cry baby

Adrien: Chloe leave her alone

Chloe: but Adrikins

Adrien: but nothing LEAVE MARINETTE  ALONE

Chloe: fine but only for you Adrikins

Marinette then took her seat and said a soft thank you. Adrien then smiled a real smile to try and cheer her up. Marinette then smiled a small smile. The rest of the day was pretty emotional mostly for Marinette though. Adrien on the other hand has found the cure to his rejected heart .
