Ch-7 Villain- weak or stupid?

"I'm not letting you win, Ta-"

Bash!

The other one in the mask punched Argenta across the face.

"Don't," Argenta groaned.

Bash!

Another punch came flying at her cheek. The ridiculous thing was that Argenta wasn't even trying to fight her. She had shut her eyes, and her hands seemed to have been glued to her temples. She kept murmuring things to herself, and every once in few seconds, her lips turned into a devilish smirk, but it morphed into an expression of pure pain as soon as it happened. Meanwhile, the woman in black continued taking brutal hits on her.

"ARGENTA, FIGHT HER! WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING?!"

"I can't fight her, Lory. I'll lose if I try to; again,"

What?!

I need to get out of this dam chair!

Just watching Argenta getting beaten to a pulp made me want to puke my guts out, and being tied to a chair did not help my helplessness. So I decided to do what she did to get out of the chair; bad decision. I bent forward to stand up on my feet before falling back but ended up falling on my face. My forehead hit the rough cemented floor, and I felt everything going blurry.

I twisted to lie on my side. I could only barely see what was happening. Blood and bruises covered Argenta from head to toe, and the woman did not show any intention to stop. Then the woman stepped back and kicked Argenta in the stomach, hard. She stumbled back due to the impact, and the ghastliest thing happened.

Her face lost any signs of pain; all there was left was anger and rage. She looked up at the woman with a glare that was enough to scare a whole army of hungry werewolves while her lips curved into a devilish smirk. Argenta kept standing where she was, eerily still as she waited for the woman to charge at her. When the woman leapt forward, she stepped aside, nelson locked the woman's neck, twisted her, pushed her to the ground and sat on her back, and it was so swift that I could barely catch it.

The woman must have hit the ground pretty bad because her nose looked broken, and there was a massive bruise on her forehead. But Argenta did not stop there. She picked her up and threw her across the garage. Despite my blurry vision, I could see that the woman looked at least twice Argenta's weight, and the distance that her body flew before dropping was about 20 feet! What she did just now was inhuman! And she didn't look the slightest bit tired.

She was smiling, but not in her usual friendly way; it was a sinister smile, the kind that sent chills down my spine. Even though I knew it was Argenta standing there, nothing seemed familiar about her, absolutely nothing. It was as if she was a completely different person.

"It feels good to be free," She said with the same detached, cold and hate-filled voice from before, "You're quite strong for such a small girl. I have to give it to you."

Small? Girl?

I get that my vision is blurry, but that woman is neither small nor can she be called a girl.

"But you're still not strong enough, just like last time. You lost in the end. You always do,"

Does she know this woman?

The woman lay on the floor, but she slightly shuffled and winced almost the same time as Argenta shuddered and fell to one knee.

"You still have some fight left in you, huh? Impressive, but not good enough."

With that, she stood up, smiled sinisterly and growled with her eyes cold and rage-filled. She started walking towards the woman and picked up a wrench on the way.

She's going to kill her!

"Argenta," I started saying, but my voice was too weak to reach her.

"Please stop. You don't want to do this," I groaned, but she didn't pay attention to my pleas.

I saw her raise her arm over the woman; the wrench clutched tightly in her palm. And then she struck.

"ARGENTAAA," I screamed on top of my lungs, and this time, she stopped, the wrench was hovering just above the woman's head, but Argenta had stopped herself from striking her.

"Level 2 completion status:" the robotic voice of the sphere echoed, "threat eliminated,"

Then everything went black, and the pain surging through my body vanished. I heard Argenta wincing from somewhere beside me.

"Statu-Level 2 completed. Simulation manually terminated." the voice continued, "Ending session 1.0,"

Then the fog started withdrawing, and we started floating back down to the ground.

What in the frickety wacko frack tronk bonkers happened back there?!

I. Am. So. Friggin'. Confused.

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"

HOLY FRIGGIN' FATHER OF A BERRY IN A PLATE WITH A SIDE OF MEATBALLS!

"ARE YOU INSANE?" I yelled at Nicholas- who was the person that hollered in my ear to snap me out of my trance- while I rubbed my ears vigorously.

This idiot needs some therapy!

When the pain resided from my ear, I looked around to see that everyone was dispersing. My eyes darted everywhere in search of a certain someone.

"Mr Daniel took her with him," Nicholas sang, "said he wanted to talk to her about something very concerning,"

"Oh," I said and regretted the word as soon I saw Nick smile like a fanboy whose ship had sailed.

"I mean, pfft, I wasn't looking for Argenta,"

"I never said Argenta," He shrugged, grinning like a dumbass and started walking out; while I stood in my place and face-palmed.

Dumb Lory!

"Start walking sometime today, loverboy," he shouted, walking out the door.

"Don't call me that," I deadpanned.

"Whatever you say, Lory,"
