"So?" Cleo broke the silence.

"It was a memorisutīrā," Jax said.

"A what?" Nick asked.

"A memorisutīrā,"

"A memory stealer," Adam joined.

"How do you both know about this?" Willia asked them.

"We're legacies," Jax answered.

"Well, that explains everything!" I said, not being able to hold it in.

He shot me an annoyed glare and continued.

"Five years ago, memorisutīrā sightings became very common."

"This was the doing of an up-to-no-good organisation, The Fallen,"

Why does that name sound familiar?

"They wanted to control the world, and no better way to do that than to get in their heads, right?"

"The spies at Gladys trained to hunt and kill them, it took them some time, but they did it,"

"My dad was under a memorisutīrā's control for a while. He has told me what it felt like to not know about what you were doing, how the opponents knew all your teammates' attacks because they have your memory. In conclusion, they are pretty messed up,"

"For years, there were no more sightings,"

"Until today,"

"Wow," Brittney said, dazed, "I mean, oh no,"

"This is bad," Willia pointed out the obvious.

"We have to tell Ms Lily and Mr Daniel," Yara said.

"We'll get into a lot of trouble," Reyna said.

"Lucky for us, trouble is my middle name," Nick said, clearly trying to impress Reyna.

Being a good friend, I could not let that happen.

"Pfft, no, it's not! It's Matthew," I announced.

Numerous snickers and giggles filled the room, and Nick glared at me.

"When was the last sighting?" I asked.

"Three years ago," Jax answered my query.

"It does have a rumour associated with it," Adam added.

"Which is?" Cleo asked.

"I've heard that Gladys couldn't kill one memorisutīrā, and it had the memory of one of the most skilled spies in Gladys. So they performed the "forbidden procedure" on her and her squad," He said, leaning in and deepening his voice to give a dramatic effect.

"And what is the "forbidden procedure"?" Argenta asked.

"No one knows," Adam continued, "Some say that that they killed her because no one saw her ever again. Others say that they disowned her and her teammates claimed that they didn't even know who she was,"

"One rumour says that she fell in love with a fallen and went rogue," Jax stated.

"But no one knows for sure,"

Adam asserted.

Our wonderful conversation was interrupted by a horribly loud knock.

"I'll get it," Brittney announced and got up.

"WHAT WERE YOU ALL THINKING?!" Mr Daniel started yelling as soon as he got in, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED OUT THERE?!"

We just stood there with our heads down because we certainly couldn't tell him it was a dare to see if I have feelings for Argenta.

"And Jackson and Adam? What the hell were you two doing? Despite knowing about the memorisutīrā! Unbelievable! I am very disappointed in all of you! You should be ashamed of yourselves, breaking rules, putting the whole school at risk by disabling the fence, going out during curfew. I never expected this from you."

"Is there anything else I should know?"

"Y-Yes, sir," Adam said, "We saw one,"

Mr Daniel's eyes widened, and his face lost colour.

"Did it touch any of you?"

"Yeah, it grabbed Argenta's wrist,"

He moved to examine Argenta's hand so fast that I wouldn't've noticed him if I blinked.

"No nail marks, that's good," He mumbled to himself.

"You are all going to face strict consequences for what you've done. You've crossed a line, this time, Armada,"

"Technically, we crossed a fence," I said, causing a few chuckles to escape my squad and earning a deathly glare from Mr Daniel. If looks could kill, I'd be dead- a hundred times. And I'm not even exaggerating.

"Go back to your respective dorms, and just so you know, tomorrow is not going to be easy for you, so get some sleep," He said before he walked out of my dorm and slammed the door behind him.

Well, shit!

The others went to their rooms too, and now the only people left were Nick and me.

"It would've been easier if you had just accepted your love for Argenta," He remarked.

"Haha. And for the billionth time! Lorcan no lovey Argenta, Argenta no lovey Lorcan," I said super slow as if explaining to a kid, which I probably was.

He stuck his tongue out at me and pounced on his bed, tired from the day.

"Goodnight, bro," He said, just before his snores filled the room.

"Goodnight," I said as I draped a duvet over him and switched off his lamp.

I went ahead and lay on my bed, but I could not sleep. So I decide to call billy and trouble him.

The successive morning, I woke up to Nick's face. Literally.

His face was inches away from mine, and he had this creepy smirk that gave me anxiety.

"Did you just kiss me or something?" I said, horrified to the core.

I scrambled away from him and wiped my lips furiously. That crazy son of a- wonderful woman who deserves respect could do anything.

"No, I didn't, but I bet someone did," He said, waggling his brows and smirking and grinning like an idiot, "Before you did something to her, judging by how you were saying her name,"

Fuck! Did I have a wet dream?!

"What did I do?" I asked, covering my face with my palms while my cheeks heated up.

"Nothing just," He jumped on his bed and started shuffling and grinding on the mattress, "Argenta... Oh, OH! Argentaa! Oh, Babyy,"

"Okay, you can stop now," I said, still keeping my hands glued to my face.

"You'll probably want to go and take a cold shower before you see her," He snickered.

Oh, gawd!

I chucked a pillow at him that thankfully hit him right in his face and shut him up. For now, at least.

Why can't I remember the dream?

Not that I want to!

Okay, maybe, just maybe, I do.

"And now you're smiling to yourself! You're in looovvvveee, boiiii," Nick howled, dancing in the room and jumping on our beds, laughing like a hyena.

He's such an idiot!

I know this one was short, but this was just a filler. The coming chapters are going to be exciting (and hopefully, longer) !!!

I'm really excited to write them and I'll try my best to post them as soon as possible.

Also, what do you think about Lory. I hope he sounds as crazy as I want him to ;P
