Just those 3 words were enough to make Genya stumble over himself. "I love you." Muichiro said to him. Genya fell when he was walking and he got back up again. "You... Do?" Genya thought he had made a mistake cause' who could ever look anyone like him? (Besides, he knew he struggled with memory loss.) Muichiro looked over at him. "Im sorry. I know we just met. Its just... I don't know... I somehow feel... Good around you... If that makes any sense." "Uhm.. Yeah... I guess it does." Gonna said, still blushing intensely. "I... Can leave if you would like.." Genya said, hoping he didn't have to go out and sleep on the ground again. "You can stay. I don't mind. I enjoy your company." Muichiro smiled. "And is it alright if I sleep in my bed with you?" Muichiro asked him. "Yeah. I don't mind." Genya replied. "Why don't you sit down and eat. I don't know when the last time you ate was and I have plenty of food for the both of us." Muichiro said to him.
Long story short, Genya stayed the night. For a while.
As a few months go by, so do more and more missions, and to set the scene: muichiro is walking home after having a hashira meeting about having to train lower ranks so they could get a slayer mark, as he did. So, with that, he relayed what he remembered to Genya. And here's that: "So... I'm going to train with hashira to get a demon slayer mark?" Genya asked, hoping he didn't forget a part. He wanted a chance to talk to his older brother. But the first day of training goes by. He starts by training with the love pillar. He almost dislocated and broke every bone in his body. Then he moved onto the serpant hashira. He went rough on everyone. Especially Tanjiro. It took him a few days but he finally completed the serpant hashira next up was.... His brother. The night after training he tried to go and talk to him. "Someone as worthless as you could never be my brother. Quit the demon slayer corps... Or I will make sure your never allowed back. " Saneni said to him. "Nemi, I... I'm sorry I'm not good enough to use a breathing technique..." "Just quit the demon slayer corps. Your useless anyways. And your not even my brother. Your so pathetic." Sanemi said. "Nemi... I get my strength... By eating demons..." Genya said. This infuriated sanemi, he ran towards genya and lundged at him knocking him outside through a wall. Tanjiro came in a bit later and broke up the fight.
He had finally completed training with his brother. And he was relieved to find out that next he was training with Muichiro. It had been days since Genya had last seen him, he knew that he would t get special treatment from Muichiro, but maybe he was a bit nicer than everyone else's.
Muichiro POV:
He sighed. How did these people even survive final selection? The next day came and Muichiro was relieved to see genya after he had heard from Tanjiro what happened. He came up to Genya and hugged him. The other slayers watched in awe as Muichiro did this. They have been here for weeks now and haven't seen him do this with anyone.
He finished his with Muichiro training. That night he went to Muichiro, who had been outside just sitting there silently. Genya went over and sat next to him. "Hey." Muichiro said. "Hi." Genya replied. They sat there for a little, looking at the beautiful moon that night. Their hands inched closer and closer until they met. Then their eyes met each other's. "I... Love you too Muichiro." Genya said. They stared at each other like nothing could stop them from loving one another. Until they finally kissed.
