"What is this!?" Dani burst into their bedroom screaming.

Kevin had retired to the comfort of their room, he'd decided to give Dani some space to think and maybe come back to her senses. He'd read online that some new mothers still experienced bursting rage of hormonal fits.

That explained a lot to him, it wasn't her fault, he knew she wasn't like this. His dear sweet wife would never in her right senses accuse him of doing the unspeakable, it was obviously raging hormones that couldn't find any other way out.

Kevin was lying in the bed with a blue book in hand, it was a book he'd picked up back when Dani was first pregnant that explained a lot of what happened to the female body while pregnant. He revisited it now to read up on some stuff he may have forgotten and see if he could pick up any useful information.

So when Dani burst into the room carrying the heart notes he'd left her he peeked up in concern.

"Uhm...notes?" Kevin replied unsurely.

"Are you trying to rub it in" Dani spat out.

Kevin plops down his book in frustration, "Not this bullcrap again!"

Instead of yelling back, Dani throws down the cards on the bed in front of Kevin. She'd torn every single one of them in half. The shock from seeing what she'd done had Kevin speechless. He looked up at her with something different in his eyes, so different so that Dani took an unconscious step back.

"Who are you?" Kevin asked solemnly.

Dani stuttered, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Kevin pushed the book aside and got up from the bed, he went and stood right in front of Dani's face. He'd been seeing it in her eyes recently, seen it but ignored it, ruled it out as hormones or other pregnancy related stuff. But he couldn't deny what he clearly saw in her eyes now. He couldn't keep turning a blind eye to what was very evident.

Kevin got up from the bed and stood in front of Dani. People tend to overlook the fact that Dani could at times be very petite when standing next to Kevin, and right now he completely overshadowed her.

"You are not my Danielle," he whispers, reaching out and cupping her face. "I think I see that clearly now"

He side steps her and walked out the room, he makes a straight line for Alena's room. He slowly opens the door and tiptoes in. His little precious angel was fast asleep, her tiny chest heaving up and down rapidly as she breathed. Her preciousness made Kevin want to weep with joy. He loved his daughter so much it wasn't fathomable.

And he hated himself for what he was about to do.

He brushed the little soft curls of Alena's hair away from her forehead and pulled her blanket passed her stomach. He left the room as he closed her door and went down the stairs.

"Where are you going!" Dani yelled after him from the top of the stairs.

Kevin just continued to walk, not saying a single word.

"Kevin Jonas! What are you doing!?" She yelled again, only to be met with silence.

Kevin's shoulders were squared and his stance was rigid, he had already resolved to do what he had to do. Nothing else would send a clearer message to her or make his action appear loud enough.

He hears Dani's footsteps slam down the stairs in epic speed as she races after him, she managed to squeeze herself between her husband and the front door.

"Where. Are. You. Going?" she heaves and tries to talk.

Kevin doesn't even look down at her, he keeps his head leveled and gazing straight ahead.

"LOOK AT ME!!" Dani screeched.

Nothing.

Dani looked to be fighting back the onslaught of tears, and Kevin knew full well that that was his kryptonite. He couldn't bear to even think of her crying. It drove him mad!

"Are you walking out on me?" she gasped softly.

Kevin feels his rigid composure crack, he look away from her, unable to bring himself to meet her sight.

"You do know you leaving will only further my resolve on you cheating," Dani quietly informed him.

Kevin had already anticipated that, but no other better option presented itself. He had no other course of action. And besides, Kevin could not bear to continue being in the same house with this complete stranger before him. He gently reaches out his hand to open the door.

"If you do this, you're going to be walking out on Alena too!" she cries desperately.

That made him completely pause.

"If you do this, I'll make sure I tell my daughter how her father walked out on her when she was no more than a week old" Dani says more confidently now, thinking she had Kevin by the ropes.

Instead, Kevin leans his face close to her and gives her his most murderous look.

"What you just said just sealed your fate" he whispered darkly.

He marches back up the steps and carries Alena out of her bed, packs her things in a baby bag, and marches back down.

Dani wanted to scream and protest and yank her daughter from Kevin's grip but couldn't dream of doing so because it'd wake Alena. And she'd been woken up one too many times today as it is!

Kevin threw open the door and looked back over his shoulder, "I'm going to give you three days to a week to think about everything." he walks forward abit, "Everything." He emphasizes.

And he closed the door behind him.

Standing behind it was a weeping Dani, but the sad tears slid down asmiling face. And then she whispers, "I was right..."ply-t:g:
