A promise is a promise.

That phrase has been circulating around Yeonjun's mind ever since the day started. The male uneasily stood there in the studio as he waited for Jaemin to return back from his task. The secretary had to go and pick up the materials needed for the event later as well as to contact their people to make sure everything is going according to plan which then left Yeonjun alone to drown in unnecessary worry.

Today, well, tonight—Yeonjun will have to present to almost every known person in their business field his very own creation of clothing as well as hit the runway himself for the first time as their label's very own model.

It was a new discovered passion and Yeonjun loved every single second of it. The time he spent getting involved in their family business was the time Yeonjun found himself being fascinated with designs that he slowly began to create his own too and undoubtedly fell in love with the process of it.

And so when he was asked by his father if he wanted to give it a shot, he didn't hesitate to agree in a heartbeat. What he just wasn't expecting, however, was his father to go all out and schedule an event for him.

And Mr. Choi made it clear that he wanted it to be big and grand—he wanted it to be perfect and wanted the best for his son that he hired only the best event handlers and organizers to work for the upcoming show.

Yeonjun argued at first, not really seeing the point for all these fuss when he could just simply release the designs like they usually did with the others. But it seems like Choi Soohyun couldn't be stopped, especially now that he got Choi Haera on his side.

The first person Yeonjun told the news to was, of course, his husband and he was just as ecstatic as he was. Soobin helped him with some of the works and was constantly reminding the brunette how proud he is of him.

Yeonjun is really, really happy with it and is thankful for Soobin's encouragement and appreciates every comforting words and assurance the other said.

But what he really just wants is for Soobin to be there the moment it happens and he promised he will.

And that should leave Yeonjun with nothing to worry about since Soobin is always, always there, supporting him and all. So the other would definitely be there tonight with him too, right?

Well, Yeonjun fucking hopes so.

But the thing is, Soobin left two days ago for an out-of-town business schedule and he said it would be done by this morning but it's already 5pm now and there still isn't any news from him.

It caused Yeonjun to be so damn worried and to add the fact that he had sent tons of messages to the other but received nothing in response only fuel his nerves more and he's so close into losing his mind. No kidding.

He took a deep breath to calm his racing mind and ease the unsettling feeling at the bottom of his stomach before typing down another message on his phone to send again.

...

"Yeonjun-ssi, you're out next for your last shoot!"

"I'm coming!"

Where are you, Soobin?

___

By 7, Yeonjun, along with the personnel, were busy checking the apparel collections but the brunette seems to be out of it. He was working, sure, but he did it half-consciously. It was as if his mind was elsewhere that's why he couldn't focus on what he's supposed to be doing.

Like right now, a staff is asking him about the arrangement of the designs but he's just staring into a distance and blocking out everything else on sight and hearing parameters.

"Yeonjun!" Jaemin snaps his fingers in front of the dazed male's face to get his attention.

The brunette only blinks, "I'm sorry, what is it?"

"She's been asking you if the order is fine, are they?" Jaemin rolled his eyes, saving the girl who's been just standing there awkwardly for the past five minutes.

"Oh, uhm, yeah—they're alright. Thank you." Yeonjun replied with a smile which the awkward girl took as her cue to leave.

However, Yeonjun wasn't even looking at the designs when he answered. He just mindlessly blurted out whatever because his brain screams a more important thing that the order of those clothing doesn't really matter anymore.

Yeonjun couldn't care less about the collection being misplaced; he just cares about one thing.

"Look, I'm trying to ignore it but—" Jaemin trailed off as he put his arm around Yeonjun's shoulder and take him away to this one corner where it's only the two of them, "what is going on? Why are you so out of focus? We only have so little time left and you're suddenly being like this. Junnie, what's wrong?"

Upon hearing the words fall consecutively out of Jaemin's mouth, Yeonjun started to feel the guilt slowly climbing up his system but not enough to pull him out of his uneasy state.

He glanced to his friend's puzzled yet concerned face and sighed. And since he's still reluctant to share what's been eating him up ever since the day began, Yeonjun settled with a simple lie, "I'm just nervous."

He's nowhere near nervous right now. Or maybe he is, but it's because of a different reason. He can't even think about the show. All his thoughts are occupied by only one person.

He's still not here.

Whether Jaemin bought his lie or not, Yeonjun has no idea but he's thankful that the other male didn't drag it on and just nodded in understanding.

"Everything will be fine. Don't fret on it too much."

"I'll try. Thanks, Nana."

"Yeah, just call me if you need anything, hmm?"

Yeonjun nodded as he watched Jaemin's retreating figure.

For the nth time, he brought his phone out to check if there's any reply or calls but again, there's nothing. He calmed himself down, not wanting to get annoyed and create unwanted mishap but this tiny voice at the back of his head isn't helping.

It whispers questions to him he wants to ignore but he can't. Maybe because he knows deep down that those questions are the ones he wants to ask too but is avoiding.

However, right now, he's starting to wander why Soobin isn't responding when he always does. He wonders why Soobin won't answer his calls or call him back.

He wonders where the fuck Soobin is.

He said he'll come. He said the meeting will be over this morning so where is he?

Could it be that, Soobin forgot?

Yeonjun felt nauseous thinking about it he feels like he's about to throw up so he excused himself and walked out of the room.

He bit his lower lip and began wandering in the hallways to rid of his thoughts, hoping that the paintings he passed by would help get his mind off his worries.

___

It didn't help. Walking outside didn't help.

To those people who can actually divert their consuming thoughts so fast, what the hell is your secret? Yeonjun would like to know.

He's now sat inside a limousine, on their way to "Carat's Resort" where this event would take place and Yeonjun's just staring at the digital clock on the dashboard. Each minute passing by decreasing his hope and adding up his concern.

8:06 and still no signs from Soobin.

The limo came into a stop at the same time Yeonjun turned off his phone after checking his inbox. The driver opened the door for him and he went out with a small thank you.

He was supposed to arrive with Jaemin but his secretary came first because some minor troubles had to be taken care of which results to a gloomy, distracted Yeonjun making his way alone to their designated area.

Fortunately, he managed to get there without being lost.

The moment Yeonjun opened the door to his dressing room, he was immediately pulled in so fast, he almost shrieked, and then he was suddenly seated in front of a vanity mirror with a stylist working on his hair.

"What took you so long? You're late for like, half an hour!" A blonde male told him who stands by his left which made Yeonjun throw him an unfazed gaze before looking back at his own reflection in the mirror.

Oh God, he looks like the world just crashed itself onto him.

"Traffic, Jimin hyung. Sorry."

There was no traffic. Yeonjun got there on time but took all the time he could get as he walked to this room.

You can't blame him. It just felt so heavy to lift up his feet and take a step. Like there was something dragging him down and he lost all the energy to fight back.

Jimin only ran his fingers through his hair and took a deep breath before putting a hand on Yeonjun's left shoulder with a smile. "It's fine, just focus on the show. I'm sure you'll do amazing."

The younger hummed, "Thank you."

About an hour later and Yeonjun's all done. He's dressed in a black checkered suit with a white shirt tucked underneath a black pair of trousers. It is one of his own designs to be presented tonight and he also wears a silver spectacle to finish the look.

He looks dashingly great and he would usually flaunt and gush about it to fish compliments but right now, he doesn't. He just sat there on the velvet couch and stared up ahead on the clock located at the opposite wall.

9:31

Yeonjun's dressed all pretty but for whom?

The one he wants to impress isn't even there.

And that person can't even answer his calls as well.

He was looking forward to this event. He was imagining for days how this night would go and felt so excited about it but now that it's happening, he just feels like going home.

It's like there's no point into doing it when the one who imagined everything with him isn't present to witness what they pictured.

Yeonjun can't enjoy this night without him.

Without Soobin.

Binnie, you promised.

Soobin hasn't broken any of his promises so far which tells that there's nothing to worry about, right?

But then, Yeonjun can't help but think that there's a first time for everything. So what if it'll be the first time that Soobin breaks his promise?

Oh no, Yeonjun doesn't want his brain to go like this but if the 1st time happens then the next would come and there would be more.

And he doesn't want that.

Yeonjun doesn't want the time to come when he would have to count the broken promises along with his broken parts.

No. That is certainly not going to happen.

He's just overthinking things like the usual.

Yeonjun trusts Soobin enough to not let that happen. Soobin would never do that.

He won't break a single promise,

Right?

___

The people were now gathered there together, waiting as the program can start any minute now. The cameras are already flashing, taking everything to frame in a single picture. Men and women share and exchange their expectations for this show, forestalling what the Chois have up their sleeves this time around. Talking about how the heir kept his talent for so long and how gorgeous he looks.

They admire the place and how everything is set, from the lights to the stage and to that silhouette of a man behind that blank opaque giant screen, who they all anticipate to see.

However, the owner of the said silhouette isn't anticipating seeing any of their reaction but is only focused on seeing this one specific person.

Yeonjun is done waiting. He had enough.

He's just going to get everything over with so he could finally go home and sulk to himself.

He's beginning to get upset but his part of rational mind tells him to hold on a little more. Yet, at the same time, this other part of him tells him to accept things and give up because Soobin is probably too busy that he forgot about this night that was supposed to be special.

It'll only be special if Soobin's there to cheer for him but he's not so it's nowhere near special anymore.

It's just an ordinary show with Yeonjun being the center of, well, everything.

It's just an ordinary show, except it's for Yeonjun.

Yep, nothing special at all.

*

The brunette should have been out by now but some technical minor issues unexpectedly occurred so the show had to be pushed back for a few minutes and that left Yeonjun to just stand there for more.

He was just lazily playing with this small balloon using his feet on the floor when Taehyung walked by and spotted him.

Taehyung's also modeling for Yeonjun's designs that's why he's there but he's also gonna be there anyway even if he isn't. Oh, and their family's sitting at the front row on the left side of the stage with their friends already and the same goes with his husband's family on the other side.

So basically, everyone's present and ready except his husband is still missing. This made Yeonjun wants to run out and pretend he doesn't exist.

But he can't.

He can't afford to disappoint everyone although he's already disappointed himself.

Just then, Taehyung called out for him which made Yeonjun look up. Taehyung would have walked towards him but he couldn't risk being seen on the screen and ruin the plan.

"Are you alright?" the older male asked from a good distance.

Yeonjun only nodded and smiled meekly.

And then a rushing Jaemin came into the scene while holding a phone with half a yinyang case. His expression indicates that he's about to nag and he most certainly will.

"Choi Yeonjun! Your phone  keeps on ringing, oh my god—"

Before Jaemin could even finish his words, Yeonjun had already left his spot and snatched the phone away from his secretary's grip. The thought of everyone outside witnessing his silhouette's sudden disappearance left his mind and he just bolted outta there to his dressing room to answer the call.

"Baby?"

Yeonjun is instantly washed over with relief upon hearing that voice as he brought the phone up to his ear.

"I'm here," he weakly responded.

Oh god, he feels like tearing up already although it hasn't even been a day since they last talked.

He missed him so much.

They're supposed to see each other again today after three days but here they are, only speaking through the phone and he should be mad about it because Soobin promised he'll be there but he's not and he's only calling right now after Yeonjun's hundreds of missed calls and messages. However, Yeonjun couldn't find it in him to be mad, he just felt relieved hearing Soobin's voice.

"Have you started? I'm sorry I got really busy that I didn't respond—"

"It's okay." Yeonjun said, his voice just barely above a whisper. He said it's okay when he, himself, isn't.

"I'm really, really, sorry—"

"It's fine, just—where are you?"

Yeonjun hold his breath, anxiety creeping up because of the response he's about to get though he's already aware that he'll most likely just upset himself more.

But it's okay to still have a little bit of hope, right?

He heard a sigh. His heart dropped. "That's why I'm sorry, I—"

The stinging at the back of his eyes commences but he tried his best to ignore them and hold the threatening tears from spilling down. After all, he's half-expecting this. But it still feels like a bullet to the heart, you know?

"Oh no—it's alright, really. I'm just glad you called. I thought you forgot about tonight but you were just busy and I understand that. Just—take care of yourself, okay? Don't stress over work too much, hmm? I'll just wait for you at home, it's fine. It's not like tonight's something special anyway. Things happen beyond our control and it's alright—I'm alright. I'll see you when you come back, it's oka—"

But then Yeonjun's rambling was cut off when he felt a pair of arms wrapping around his figure from behind and there suddenly was a bouquet of red roses in front of him, held by those familiar hands that were tightly secured on his abdomen.

The brunette's breathing got stuck on his throat and his body began to slightly tremble as a light weight was placed on his left shoulder.

"You didn't let me finish." That voice said. And it isn't over the phone. He felt it. The breath on his neck. The arms around him. He felt everything.

Yeonjun swore he's a heartbeat away from crumbling.

"I'm sorry I'm late, but I'm here."

And that's when Yeonjun snapped.

He turned around and started crying, his face pressed against his husband's chest as he fisted his shirt so hard. Yeonjun also began to lightly punch his chest repeatedly and Soobin just stayed there with his arms still wrapped around Yeonjun, taking everything without objections.

"I hate you! I—I thought you're not—you're not coming!" Yeonjun sobs, finally letting out all his bottled up frustrations. "Oh I hate you so much!"

He said that but he felt relieved and complete.

This is how he imagined this night.

With Soobin. And he's there. Oh god, he's there.

"I was so w-worried! I thought y-you forgot!" Yeonjun continued bawling his eyes out and Soobin finally pulled away to gently caress his face. The bouquet fell silently on the ground as he did so.

"I promised, didn't I? I won't ever break that. I might be late, but I'll always come." Soobin fondly smiles, "Always."

The light coming from the center of the room illuminated his features. His dark raven hair. His warm brown eyes. His cute little nose. And his perfect smile.

Fuck, Yeonjun missed him so much he hugs him again. "You're so annoying."

Soobin returned the embrace just as tight as if they do not want to let go.

He then smiled and kissed the top of the smaller male's head. "Stop crying now. You're ruining your make-up."

"They're waterproof."

Soobin raised a brow. "Everything?"

He felt Yeonjun nodded against his chest.

With that response, Soobin pulled Yeonjun's face up by his chin, his other hand placed securely around Yeonjun's lower back as he captured the male's lips in a sudden kiss which startled the latter.

Yeonjun soon melts into it anyway, closing his eyes and kissing back with the same amount of fervor. Both males found themselves smiling into it.

"Was testing it out." Soobin mumbled the moment they pulled away.

"Your excuse is so lame." Yeonjun teased, his hands still clutching on Soobin's shirt.

"Still worked." Soobin shrugged before he went again for another kiss, and then another and another and then another until Yeonjun is a giggling mess from how needy Soobin is being right now.

"Stop eating my face!" Yeonjun scolded but the smile on his face shows that he's enjoying it.

"You can eat mine too."

With his eyes turning wide as saucers, Yeonjun slapped Soobin's chest who's just grinning mischievously down at him, his eyes glinting with friskiness.

"Choi Soobin!"

___

It was after Soobin had settled himself on the front row seat that he received such a baffled reaction from the man sitting on his left, which belongs to his very own brother.

Soobin decided to ignore his scrutinizing stare and forced himself to focus on the show at hand, especially now that Yeonjun can walk out in any given second. But how could he stay unfazed when Seokjin pointed out his presence like he wasn't supposed to be there? Which then resulted to their parents to throw them confused gazes?

"What are you doing here?" Jin made his question sound like he couldn't believe what he's seeing. Soobin wants to roll his eyes from his brother's dramatic exclamation which then earned quite another bewildered reaction from their parents.

"Is something wrong, boys?" Their mother asked, turning intrigued and concerned each passing second.

"Nothing, mom. Hyung is just being dramatic again."

Fortunately, all their attention was shifted away because after Soobin said his excuse, the lights went out and the spotlight was then focused in front, highlighting a figure that is now making his way out in the runway, looking oh-so-amazingly as he did so.

A smile formed its way on Soobin's lips, his eyes following each movement of the guy on stage with so much fondness. And it was only intensified when his gaze was met by the male in front, causing both of them to secretly send smiles into each other that was apparently caught also by another person.

"Oh, I see." Seokjin suddenly whispered close to Soobin's ear which snaps the male out of his mesmerized trance.

He sighed internally, "What do you want, hyung?"

"The reason why you're not in the place where you should be." Jin raised his eyebrow, "Your meeting with Mr. Kwon was cancelled this morning and was moved tomorrow at 10am so what are you doing here? You're supposed to stay there for a day more, aren't you?"

"I know." Soobin simply replied, not taking his eyes off of Yeonjun for even a second.

"You know and yet, you're here. And mind you, it's almost 11pm already."

"I'll only stay here for two hours and will return back immediately, okay? The others don't know I'm here either. I snuck out, hyung—is that what you want to hear?"

Seokjin let a satisfied smile paint his lips upon Soobin's answer but the playful spirit isn't quite pleased yet so he decided to push a few more buttons before he let the younger go. "So that means you drove yourself here?"

"Yes."

"For five hours and you'll only stay for two?"

And that's when it dawned on Soobin. He didn't really think about it that much, he wasn't even considering the time and distance he had to go through, he couldn't even care less about the energy and effort he had to exert because his mind only screamed at him to be there. To see Yeonjun and be with him tonight even for just a short amount of time.

"Yeah," Soobin finally answered after pausing for a few seconds.

"Why?"

"Because I promised." Soobin's eyes followed Yeonjun's figure until he's already out of sight into the backstage and that's when he let his gaze fall to his brother. "And yes—to answer your next question, it's worth it. And I would still drive for hours even if I could only stay for five minutes. Whether I promised or not. Just to see him. There, satisfied?"

"Very." Jin sent his final grin before patting Soobin's shoulder and letting him be.

___

It was half-way through the show that Soobin decided to meet Yeonjun backstage because these people are starting to get under his skin.

Sure, he's well aware that his husband looks breathtakingly ravishing but can they tone it down a bit and not make it obvious that they're eating Yeonjun up through their fucking eyes?

Given, not everyone stares at Yeonjun like a sick fuck but these bitches really annoyed him so much and it didn't help that they were sharing comments about Yeonjun each time he appears and they were really inappropriate.

And the fact that those idiots sat behind him? Soobin had to endure the agony of not being able to punch them in the face.

Soobin wore an extremely pissed expression when he reached Yeonjun's dressing room. And on instant, the second the brunette saw him, he rushed to his side with a worried look on.

"What happened?" Yeonjun asked softly which made Soobin look at him.

And that's when Soobin's breath hitched.

Oh hell no.

There's no fucking way he'll let his husband go out dressed in that.

Because there stood Yeonjun in a white, thin as fuck, satin shirt that is hanging so damn loose. A huge amount of his collar bone is exposed along with a portion of both his shoulders. His make-up was also changed a bit to highlight his features and give him an innocent look.

But fuck this; he'll cause nowhere near innocence wearing that—looking like that.

"Fuck," Soobin absentmindedly mumbled.

"Binnie," Yeonjun's brows furrowed at the sight of his husband's quick change of behavior, "are you alright?"

Suddenly, it got too damn hard to swallow and Soobin found himself gulping the lump on his throat difficulty; his breathing ragged and thick.

"Baby,"

Yeonjun tilted his head slightly to the side.

He looks so inviting that Soobin's heart dropped.

"I—I need you to change."

"But why? It's the last fit, anyway. Do I look bad?" the brunette examined his outfit, even twirling around to show off his look, unconsciously making things hard for a certain someone.

"That's exactly why you need to change. You—you look so fucking pretty right now and I—just change, Yeonjun." Soobin can't even think straight anymore so he just averted his gaze elsewhere and oddly enough, that curtain looks so damn interesting what shade of maroon is that?

"But—"

"Yeon."

"No—Listen—it's the last one for me, I have nothing left so I can't change."

With that, Soobin returned his attention back on this tempting creature in front of him and immediately felt like passing out again.

Is it just him or it's starting to get really hot and suffocating inside that room?

"But you can't walk out like that."

"Why?"

"You just can't. Don't ask."

Pouting and stomping his foot like a toddler, Yeonjun turned his back to Soobin and began walking away to sit back on the couch as he waits to be called but then, midway to his walking and he was pulled back hastily, causing him to gasp in surprise.

"What the heck!? Soobin!"

"If you're going out in that, you'll have to wear this."

Yeonjun was just about to ask what he meant when Soobin brought out his necklace so he remained silent, assuming that Soobin will put it on him.

He instinctively leaned close to the taller when he moved his arms around his neck to hook the necklace. Yeonjun, feeling Soobin's breathing on his neck calmly along the process, until Soobin whispered something that caused Yeonjun to frown in confusion.

"Gracious, forgive me."

Before Yeonjun could even question what the heck is going on, he felt something other than the chain pressing on his neck which caused his eyes to widen for a moment in realization before they shut close.

He then bit his lower lip so hard to suppress the whimper that wants to escape his throat so bad. Without him noticing, he's got a tight grip on Soobin's shoulders to keep himself steady as the taller appears to be busy grazing his lips (and teeth and oh, is that his tongue?) over the soft skin on the his neck.

The moment Soobin pulled away with his hands on the smaller's sides, Yeonjun immediately pushed him back and hurriedly went to the full length mirror to inspect the result.

And there he saw it.

A purplish red blotch decorating his once pure skin before a wild Soobin entered the scene.

Yeonjun turned to his husband, a panic yet irritated expression on his face before slapping Soobin's shoulder.

"You bastard! Our family's out there! How am I gonna cover this now!?"

Soobin isn't even sorry.

___

When the clock is just five minutes away from striking 1 am, Soobin made his way out of the hall and trusts Seokjin to explain to their parents (and perhaps to Yeonjun's) the reason why he had to go now and not finish the show.

He walks leisurely around the parking lot in search of his car while being occupied on his phone (he's currently typing down a message for Yeonjun explaining why he has to leave), his eyes drooping down from tiredness and cursing them internally because he still has to drive back for another five hours. He doesn't regret a single minute though. Yeonjun's relieved smile when he arrived still totally worth all the restless hours of driving, maybe even more.

And Soobin was serious when he told Jin that he would've still done it even when he only got five minutes to see Yeonjun. He'll drive five hours or more, back and forth, just to see Yeonjun smile for even a damn minute.

Fuck it, he'll travel the whole world without resting if it means seeing Yeonjun's breathtaking perfect grin for a moment.

Oh god, he sounds so fucking whipped.

Soobin then finally spotted his red car, rolling his eyes at the valet's choice of parking it among all these white cars.

But anyway, he was about to send his message as he opened the door when he realized it wasn't lock so he shifted his vision away from his device and almost drop it when he saw there's already someone inside.

And that someone is Choi fucking Yeonjun. In the driver's seat, gesturing him to get inside already like it's the most casual thing in the world.

What the fuck is he doing there?

"Why are you here?" Soobin couldn't help but voice out his puzzlement a he gets inside, closing the car door right after.

"I could really feel your excitement upon seeing me." Yeonjun replied, his tone laced with overflowing sarcasm that Soobin did not fail to catch, making him roll his eyes at his husband.

"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me Choi Soobin! I'm still mad at you for this—" the brunette pointed at his neck, "I had to wear a scarf because of you and it did not even match my fit and I had to wear that as I walk out because I didn't have time to cover it up with make-up!" Yeonjun sent a harsh glare at Soobin when he pursed his lip to prevent his snickers.

"You have the audacity to laugh, huh!? I have to reason out to everyone backstage why I can't remove that fucking scarf as part of the outfit although I know they didn't match at all! Ah! I was so embarrassed—especially when mom came to talk to me. I thought I was gonna pass out." He then finished with a pout and Soobin can no longer hold his laughter because of his adorable whining husband.

He knows it was his fault, you can blame him but he doesn't really regret it you know? At least the scarf helps in covering Yeonjun's skin up so the others didn't have to see it.

"Stop laughing! It was humiliating."

The pout on Yeonjun's lips only deepened and he punched Soobin's arm to shut him up, which didn't work and work at the same time because Soobin was still dying from trying to stop himself from laughing.

However, his laughter did die down when he remembered Yeonjun still has to be back inside and not there with him so he turned to face Yeonjun with a frown, the signs of amusement suddenly vanishing into oblivion. His hand unconsciously reaches into the other's hand that lies there on the gearshift, his thumb grazing over Yeonjun's knuckles in a soothing manner like it always does.

"Don't you still have a show to finish?"

And just like that, Yeonjun's false irritation left him as Soobin stares at him fondly with his warm brown eyes he loves so much. They always calm him down, makes him grounded and rooted and Yeonjun just really loves staring back at them to see his reflection in those irises.

He found himself nodding, "Yeah—but I asked Jaemin if I could leave and he said it's fine since I'm done with my part anyway and the rest of the show will just be the models so it's okay."

"It's okay to what?"

"To leave with you."

Soobin blinks at him. The movement of his thumb stops and Yeonjun sent him a look as if asking why.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I'm driving you back this time." Yeonjun smiles up at Soobin. It wasn't a big one, just a small, lip-shut smile but Soobin still found himself falling again like he does every single time.

"No you're not. It's a long drive. You'll be tired."

"That wasn't the case for you when you drove here for five hours to see me for two although you still have a meeting first thing in the morning," Soobin opened his mouth to say something but Yeonjun cuts him off. "I heard from Jin hyung." Soobin closed his mouth again.

To be honest, the moment Yeonjun found out about Soobin's actions, his heart felt so full it could explode right then and there. He couldn't even stop his lips from curling upwards so wide because holy shit Soobin did that for him? And then he felt bad because he doubted Soobin and even thought that he forgot about the event and then felt bad again because then that means that Soobin was already drained from work but he still went on his way to go see him.

By then, Yeonjun told himself that he won't let Soobin push himself too hard and decided he'd ditch this show if they won't let him leave, which luckily they did.

He's also determined to go back with Soobin to wherever the fuck that meeting would take place—he doesn't care if he doesn't have any stuff with him, he'll just buy. As long as he would get to be with his tall ass giant baby bunny.

He's also doing this for himself. Because come on, people! It's been two nights since he got a proper sleep because Soobin wasn't with him and he's getting that rest tonight which means he'll have to have his human teddy bear in the form of his husband.

It was so cold without him, fuck. The blankets weren't enough. He needs Soobin's arms around him and he's getting that tonight under any circumstances.

Yeonjun then started the car before Soobin could even protest. "Now just rest there and sleep for a while. I know you're tired."

"But what about you?" Soobin complained, still reluctant about Yeonjun's plan because he doesn't want to tire him out.

"I'll be fine as long as you promise to cuddle me to death once we get to wherever you're staying. I need a good sleep tonight."

"Did you just confess that you can't sleep properly without me?" Soobin smirked.

"Oh baby shut up. The bags under your eyes say you're just the same."

"I'm offended."

"As you should be." Yeonjun sassed before he turned the car to finally exit the basement. "Now give me a kiss before you go to sleep. I was deprived for two days."

Oh well, who is Soobin to say no?
