Rey's POV
I'm walking down the hall to room A-113. I enter the code easily and the door slides open. The room looks like how I left it, except it's clean, spotless even. I walk back into my old closet. I recognize the old red chair in the middle. I sit down and try to remember something, anything, about a memory in here.

I stand and stare a hanger when I suddenly feel someone attaching something to my back. I turn to see no one.

I'm dazed at how real it felt. I scrunch my eyebrows and walk out. I head into the bathroom I see a vanity at which I remember sitting at and doing my hair. I used to wear it in three buns, but I let it flow now as I walk through the halls and people look at me.

I open a draw and see my hair ties and bobby pins. I feel the urge to pull the draw further and do so.

There's a black bracelet, it's similar to the one I used to wear as a child. I turn it over in my hands and see writing on it.

'Kylo Ren'

I enter my room.

"Rey?" Hux comes out of the kitchen. "Oh dear, I missed you today during those awful meetings."

I smile at Hux as he steps forward and hugs me.

"I missed you too."

He breaks from the hug first, but keeps his arms around my waist.

"Where were you?"

"I went back to my old room. Wanted to see if I could find anything to reboot my memory."

"Oh." He looks down, then back up. "Did you?" I slide my hand in my pocket and pull out the bracelet. "Oh your bracelet?"

I curiously look down at it. "What does this mean?"

He unwraps his arms and takes it, walking over to the couch. He sits down reading the note.

"Where did you find this?"

"In my old vanity."

"Hmmm." He hums to himself. "Sassy." He calls out.

Sassy comes out from her room. "Yes sir?"

"Set me up a meeting with FN-2199."

"Yes sir. Is that all?"

"Yes." He hands me back the bracelet, as I take a seat next to him.

"I remember Kylo Ren."

"You do?" Hux questions.

"Yeah. He was my teacher at one point, yes?"

"Yes. What else?"

"He seemed like he was very intimidating, like I remember being afraid of him, yet I feel like I knew him."

"Well he was intimidating, he would often push you around and being overly protective of you."

"Why?"

"We found you as a scavenger on Jakku, Snoke and Kylo sensed you."

"Sensed me?"

"The force. Some force user thing."

"Oh yeah. That's right I'm a force user."

"Yes. Now shall we eat dear before I head off to another meeting."

Kylo's POV
I hear the door creak open and jump from the couch hoping to see Rey, but fund disappointment instead.

I sigh.

Alexa walks over and sits down next to me.

I look over and see her eyes are red and puffy.

I pull her into a hug and she grips my arm that's across her chest.

"I... I... I tried to save them, but I was outnumbered... First went Jack, then Morgan and Snap." Tears begin to stream down her face." Nien Nub and I covered Poe, and then suddenly it was just the three of us." She let's go of my arm and pulls her legs up to herself. "My team... Jack... Jessica... Morgan... Snap... Gone. Nien Nub died next protecting Poe and I." She let's out a sob and takes a deep breath, crying harder. Her breath is shaking and I feel the tears coming down my face. "Next... next went... next went Poe." She completely breaks down crying and my heart breaks with her.

The whole in my chest widens and deepens.

"No." I place a hand to my mouth. "No, no, no." The tears burn and fill my eyes. I feel like I'm drowning.

"I'm so sorry." Alexa cries. "After Poe went down. General Organa ordered me to land."

I look at her. "I'm so glad you're alive, Alexa." I wrap my arms around her and we contuine crying. I feel her tears drop on to my shirt and know I'm most likely doing the same.

---------- One Week Later ----------------------

I wake up on the floor next to the couch Alexa is sleeping on. The sun shines through and onto us.

There's not quite a knock, but a muffled pound on the door a loud high beeping.

I get up and walk to the door, opening to see R2-D2.

"Murin'." I mumble and rub my eyes.

R2 beeps about us having to attend a meeting.

"Hey, wake up, we have a meeting to go to."

Alexa yawns and mumbles "Good morning to you too Sunshine."

"What's so good about it?" I say as I walk past her into my bedroom.

"Ben be positive. Have some faith in the Resistance." She calls out to me.

I change my shirt quickly and recognize the scent on it right away... Rey wore it last.

I shuffle out of my bedroom, hopping up and down to put my other boot on.

"Did you hear what I said?" Alexa questions me as she ties up her hair.

"Yeah something about having faith in the Resistance."

"Yeah, have some hope Ben."

I scuff. "If I were still in charge. I would have the First Order already planning on a way to get Rey back to where she belongs. With me! I wouldn't just stop there. No. I would have them go check the wreckage for survivors just like I had Hux do on Jakku when Poe and Finn crash landed on badlands. They survivored. That's what they do."

Alexa looks shocked at me and is speechless. I scuff at her again. "Forget it."

I walk out the door and R2 turns to take me to whatever room the meetings at.

Rey's POV
"Hey babe?" I call out to Hux as we prepare for our meeting with Snoke.

"Yeah?" He comes into the bedroom.

"I was just wondering. What happened to Kylo Ren? I don't remember, I'm still trying to get my memory fully back and some things are confusing like I remember being with him."

"Umm... yes. You and him were together."

"But? I'm sensing a but."

"He died." He says bluntly. I gasp and hold a hand over my mouth.

"Uh when? How? Where was I when this happened?"

"Ben Solo killed him. I don't recall where you where, but it was during the Battle of Hoth... we won it in his honor."

I feel tears dwelling in my eyes and swallow hard. "Oh love, don't cry again please. I hate seeing you upset. That's why we agreed to never talk about Kylo Ren and why it's your mission to kill Ben Solo and the Resistance."

I let out a shaky breath. "Yeah, you're right... I'm right... Ben Solo will pay for what he has done."

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Ugh this chapter was so hard to write. I know you all probably hate me, but on the bright side Ben and Rey are still alive.
