You looked up at the trees as the autumn leaves blew down gently towards the ground. Fall was hands down your favorite season, for you loved how the leaves turned from green to a beautiful orange.

You closed your eyes and breathed in the morning air as you began to hear leaves crunch from behind you. You sighed as you opened your eyes once again, for you were interrupted from your peace and quiet time.

"Nice to see you're up this early Y/N." You turned your head to see one of your best friends, Jaeden, standing there in a black t-shirt along with grey pajama pants. You smiled weakly as he sat down in the soft grass beside you.

"Hey Jae." He smiled as you looked back up at the trees.

"Whatcha doing?" He questioned as he looked to where you were staring at.

"Just watching the trees," you replied, your hair blowing in your face. He couldn't help but admire you as he scooted towards you.

"Y/N, you know you should have a jacket on. It's like twenty degrees," he spoke, scooting even closer until your sides were pressed against each other. You just shrugged in response.

"I didn't feel like bringing one." He rolled his eyes before he wraps his right arm around your waist, pulling you into him. Although the action made you blush, it did warn you up a bit. "Jaeden I—"

"I like you," he cut you off. You diverted your eyes away from the trees and put them upon him. He had unwrapped his arm from around your waist and was now looking down at the ground. He ran his right hand through his hair before looking back up at the trees, biting his lip as he scoffed at himself. "Sorry, I just needed to—"

You cut him off by connecting your lips to his. He was taken aback, causing his eyes to widen. But it didn't take long for him to kiss back and close his eyes. Your lips moved in sync as he brought one hand to the back of your neck and the other to the side of your head, just behind your hair.

You two finally pulled away, in which he began to smile.

"I like you too Jae." His smile widened, and just before he could lean in once again, the sound of the backdoor to your house rang throughout your ears. You two turned to the door to see Jack standing there.

"Hey losers! You coming inside or not?" He shouted to to you two. The two of you looked to each other before he got up and stuck his hand out. You grabbed his hand before he pulled you up, and began to run, you scrambling after as you tightened your grip on his hand.

"Where are we going?" You questioned. He turned his head towards you, a big smile plastered on his face.

"Wherever the city takes us."
