"Hey guys," Richie said in a saddened tone, as he walked over to his friends.

"Hey Richie, what's up?" Beverly asked, "You seem a little..."

"Down." Stan said, finishing Beverly's sentence

"y-y-yea, wh-what's up?" Bill asked

Richie sighed in an over dramatic way and said,

"Well you see, My cousin's coming to Derry, and my parents are making ME hangout with her."

"How old is she?" Ben asked 

"She's our age, but she SOOOO boring. She doesn't like to get dirty, she doesn't like playing video games, she doesn't like your mom jokes, she's literally like the epitome of absolute boredom."

The group chuckled at him, which made Richie frown even more,

"What?!" He asked in annoyance and confusion.

Mike ceased his chuckling and said,

"Did it ever occur to you that you think she's boring, because she doesn't like to do the same things you do?"

"Yea, come on Rich, she can't be that bad, matter of fact, how about when she gets here and after she's all settled in you invite her to the quarry with us, I'm sure she'll enjoy that" Beverly said 

"I guess..." Richie said 

"Th-then it's settled." Bill confirmed

"Great, another person added to the losers club." Eddie mumbled under his breath

"Oh my God this is taking forever." Eddie complained

"I know right, leave it to Richie to come extra late." Beverly said blowing out the smoke from her cigarette.

"I'm Here!" Richie announced from behind his group of friends.

They all turned to look at him and were instantly confused,

"Where's your cousin?" Ben asked

"Yea, weren't you supposed to bring her?" Mike pointed out

"Y-you didn't f-forget her d-did you?" Bill stuttered out

"What! No, I didn't forget her, she's...coming..." Richie stated

"So you left her?" Eddie asked in an annoyed tone, "You guys were supposed to be here like 5 minutes ago and the person you were bringing isn't even he-"

"Richie!" A girl yelled out, "Why'd you go so fast man! I couldn't keep up."

The girl had a bike with her and was now heaved over on it trying to catch her breath. For the brief moment that Eddie saw her face before she hunched over her bike made his mind go blank instantly. She was stunning. 

"You were saying Eds?" Richie asked in a cocky tone, before continuing, "Anyways, guys, this is my cousin, Y/n. Y/n these are my friends, Bill, Ben, Mike, Stan, Beverly, And Eddie. Yadda yadda now let's jump into the quarry!" 

Beverly chuckled and walked over to Y/n and put a hand on her shoulder saying,

"I feel bad you're related to the trash mouth, but I'm glad you're here, you ready to get wet?"

Y/n's face lit up,

"Totally!" She beamed.

Beverly smiled,

"Well come on, let's get to it." Beverly said stepping back from her a bit to take off her dress.

Richie cheered and started to undress as well, the other boys doing so as well. Y/n blushed a bit, but she too began to lift her dress off as well.  While she was pulling her dress over her head she heard a splash. Y/n quickly pulled her dress off to see that Beverly was gone, and one by one each of the boys jumped into the water as well, until it was just Y/n and Eddie. Y/n walked over to the edge and stood next to him. 

"Come on you two!" Beverly yelled from down below.

Y/n shyly chuckled and looked over at Eddie,

"Uh sorry if this is a little weird, but it's my first time, c-can you jump with me?"

Eddie's face flushed red and he stuttered out,

"uh s-s-sure."

Y/n kindly smiled at him and interlocked her fingers with his causing Eddies face to become an even deeper shade of red. 

"One the count of three okay?" Y/n said a little nervously.

Eddie just nodded and Y/n closed her eyes and said,

"1...2..." 

Before Y/n counted to three she jumped off the cliff dragging Eddie with her. Once they reached the water they let go of each others hands. As soon as Y/n resurfaced and moved her hair out of her face She instantly looked over at Eddie who looked at her, and then she laughed causing him to laugh. While Y/n was laughing she was tackled into the water by Beverly,

"I knew you could do it! It took you long enough!"  Beverly exclaimed hugging her.

Y/n blushed thinking she was talking about Eddie, so she glanced over at him laughing a bit and he looked at her too and smiled right back at her.
