$15k
July 15th;
It was a week after Jessica's episode in the park. Ever since then, she has put on a brave face and carried on with her life. She hated they way she felt that day and promised to keep herself away from that feeling. She followed through with her doctors recommendation of seeing a therapist but still refused the medicine. Though she felt like she was being eaten alive with her emotions she didn't let anyone know. She didn't want to make her problems anyone else's and promised herself to keep it all in.

It was the middle of summer in Minnesota. Everyone was spending more time outside going on trips to the park, the lake, to see friends, and enjoy the warm sun. Since Sam would be leaving sooner he tried to make every day worth it since he'd be far away from his little family. He was feeling very sad at the thought of Jessica being alone... especially now with her current state. He did everything to try to make her smile or he herself again, but ever since the park, something hasn't been the same.
"Good morning, beautiful..." Sam says from the rocking chair as she soothes Eloise back to sleep
It was six in the morning, that was late for Jessica to get up now and days. But the sight of Sam holding their little girl melted her heart.
"Good morning." She smiles as she stays tucked in to the covers
"She's fighting to fall asleep, but I keep telling her that she's not going to miss anything for a few hours." He smirks
Jessica giggles then rubs her eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't hear her wake up." She says
"No, it's okay. She was tossing and turning. So I figured I'd cuddle her for a bit." He says
"Thank you." She whispers as she sees Eloise's eyes close from a distance.
Sam nods his head and looks back down at Eloise as she falls asleep peacefully in his arms.
"I can't describe this feeling." He says
Jessica sits up and walks over to Sam. She sits on the arm rest of the chair and holds Sam close to her. The couple both stare at this little baby that they created together.
"I know." She says softly

Later that day:
It was a beautiful day outside and Sam's mom invited Jessica and Sam to the country club for a pool day. The two of them packed up all the baby gear and headed over to spend the day with Sam's parents and siblings.
It was always fun being with Sam's family. They were all so close like Jessica's family. But what Jessica loved most was seeing Sam's parents together. Their family felt whole. Just like Jessica's did before it started to fall apart. Being with them made up for something missing in Jessica's life.
His sisters adored Eloise and were always so excited to see her, so of course they wanted to ride with Jessica and Sam. So they stopped at Sam's parents house to pick up his sisters.
"Hi Jessie!" Rocky says as she runs to Jessica to give her a hug.
"Hey girly! How are you?" Jessica smiles
"Jess! You're here!" Sandy smiles
"I am! Are you guys ready to go?" Jessica says
"Yes!" They scream
"Guys, Ellie is asleep.... okay, so we have to be quite." Sam says as he helps his sisters in the car.
"Okay..." they whisper
"Hey babe, I'm gonna run inside and get the member key from my mom, I'll be right out." Sam says running inside
He leaves the girls behind and runs into to see his parents. They were getting ready for the pool as well.
"Sammy! We haven't seen you since.... well." Jane sighs referring to Jessica being in the hospital.
"Yeah, I'm sorry." He says
"Here, mom and I wanna give you this." Samuel says handing his son an envelope.
Sam opens it and sees a load of cash. "Dad what's this?"sam says
"We want you Jessica and our grand baby to be taken care of... use it." Samuel says
"I can't Except this. This is over fifteen thousand." Sam says handing it back. "Should this be used for college?"
"No, son. Get Jessica the help she needs and put the rest in the savings. We already have college covered... Please..." Jane says
Sam sighs then hugs his parents. As they hug him he starts to cry.
"Im so scared for her... I don't know what's going through her head anymore... I don't want her to..."
"She won't, Sammy. Just be there for her, but take care of yourself too."

When they arrive at the pool sandy and rocky jumped into the water without a second thought. They loud noises from the pool slowly woke up Eloise.
"Do you know where I put her sunscreen?" Jessica asks Sam
"Right here." He says with a smile
"Thank you..." she sighs as Eloise starts to cry.
"It's okay baby.... we are at the pool!" Jane, Sam's mother says
"She's just not used to all the noise." Sam says
"Let me take her and you too go get some sun. You're a white as ghosts!" Jane giggles

A few hours later after Eloise had another long nap, Sam brought her over to the pool so she can get her toes wet for the first time.
"Look, it's mommy!" Sam says holding Eloise. She was in a little one piece suit with a tiny hat and sunglasses.
"Oh look at that little sweetie!" Jane says
"Wanna swim little mama?" Jessica smiles
Sam sits down on the side of the pool and slowly hands the baby to Jessica.
"Do I just dip her toes in a little bit?" Jessica asks Jane
"Yes, that will be good. So she doesn't get too scared."
"I have my camera!" Sam chuckles
Jessica takes Eloise and slowly dips her in. She first makes some noises but in less than a minute she was smiling.
"I think she likes it!" Jessica smiles
"I do too!" Sam chuckles

July 20th:
Sam was at work until dinner time and the baby was sleeping so it gave Jessica some time to clean up and do some chores. She had her therapy appointment earlier in the day. It threw her off so she was just trying to get her mind off things.
Jane was hanging with Jessica while she did laundry and put away clothes.
"Can you hand me Sam's jeans?" Jessica asks as she folds all of Sam's clothes.
"Jeez. He's a skinny man." Jane jokes
"Very funny." Jessica chuckles
"Oops, he forgot to empty his pockets in this one." Jane digs her hands into Sam's jean pockets and pulls out loose change and a small receipt.
"Holy shit!" Jane says
"What what??? Shhhh, the baby is sleeping!" Jessica says sternly
"You didn't tell me you and Sam were loaded." Jane laughs
"Loaded? We aren't loaded." Jessica says
"Then why does the receipt from the bank say that he put in $15,955 dollars into your account?"
"Give it to me." Jessica says snagging the paper out of her hands
"Wow.... you don't know? Is he hiding money?"
"This isn't my account or his... he made a new account behind my back!" Jessica says with sadness
"So the $15k isn't yours?" Jane asks
"No, it's not even mine! What is he up too? How does he have all of this money? We need the money and he's hiding it? We could put it in our savings!"
"Uh oh... trouble in paradise."
