Reader's P.O.V.

"Welcome to Seoul High's Sports Festival!" A loud shout was heard by everyone in the school, coming from the assigned MC. Mostly all of the students' attention were facing the front of the stage.

"Ready to compete on which year will be the ultimate champion this year?" Another MC questioned loudly and in response, all of the students cheered in agreement.

"Then let the games begin!" Confetti suddenly appeared in the background as all students continued cheering.

"This is gonna be sooooooo fun, ____~" Aylee said, jumping up and down in excitement.

"Really fun..." I muttered in a sarcastic tone and rolled my eyes. Since it's sports day, we all wore the same sports attire, except for the sports contestants, who wore different sports attire like Aylee for example.

"The first game will be Girls Volleyball Tournament! Please proceed to the volleyball court!" The MC announced as we all went at the volleyball court.

"I'm so nervous, ____." Aylee said.

"Just enjoy it, have fun and you'll be fine." I said, attempting to encourage her.

"I'll try..." She replied. The referee blowed his whistle and with that signal, all the assigned players headed their way to the volleyball court.

"Good luck." I said as I waved at her.

An hour later, the game finished. It seems like we won.

"OH MY GOD, ____! WE DID IT! WE WON!" She suddenly tackled me, shaking my arms.

"Congratz. But please stop shaking me." I said with a shaky voice.

"Oh, sorry. Haha..."

"Now, it's time for Basketball!" The MC announced as all basketball players proceeded to the basketball court.

I was looking at the basketball players and I suddenly noticed Taehyung. He then noticed me as well and waved at me with a smile.

"Oh My God! He just waved at me~" Aylee squealed.

"Good for you then." I chuckled at her then I mouthed at him saying 'Good Luck'. He then replied back with another smile and they continue going to the basketball court.

We were seating on the seats that looks like we're in an official basketball court. The game soon started and somehow it didn't go well in early game.

All were cheering and crowds were shouting the team's name with all their might. As me and Aylee were watching, I noticed Taehyung, panting heavily from all the running and full of sweat. I wonder why he didn't sub?

"Go Taehyung! Don't give up! You can do it!" I yelled really loud and soon I was noticed by Taehyung since I was in the very front row. He then focus back on the game and suddenly, it was different. Taehyung's team were catching up. Finally, last ten seconds, Taehyung ran to the enemy's court while dribbling the ball and shot a three pointer and it went in.

After that, the crowd cheered for Taehyung's victory with only one point ahead. All of his teammates ran up to him and they carried him up of joy. Me, on the other hand, grinned and jumped up and down like a little kid from happiness.

"Congratulations! Next, we're going to start the Track and Field competition after for a few minutes!" The MC said and all started going to the booths section.

"____, you coming to the booths?" Aylee questioned.

"Go ahead. I'll be there in a minute." I said and she proceeded her way to the booths.

I want to congratulate him...

"Looking for someone?" I turned around to see Taehyung with a towel around his neck.

"Ah! Congratulations, Tae!" I said with a smile.

"Thanks." He replied.

"And..." He paused.

"Hm?" I was suddenly hugged by him tightly.

"Thanks for cheering for me." He added, his embrace still around me.

"I can't breathe..." I said.

"Oh, sorry." He suddenly let go of his embrace from me and chuckled.

"I better go change. Thanks again!" He smiled and bid goodbye then went to the men's changing room. I waved goodbye and proceeded to the booths then I met up with Aylee.

"What took you so long?" She asked while holding a lot of food with her hands.

"Just nothing important." I smiled and we continue to explore the booths and continued chatting.

"Track and Field is now starting! Please proceed to the specified venue!" The MC announced and with that, all of us headed our way.

As we were already there, a line of contestants were already at the starting line. As I was scanning the contestants, there I saw Jungkook.

Soon, the race started and unbelievably, Jungkook won.

The crowd cheered and a lot of girls fangirled. As I was clapping for him, he noticed me and gave me his charming smile, making my cheeks tainted pink.

After numerous sports, students then went to the booths because of a very tiring day.

"____!" Jungkook ran up towards me.

"Jungkook! Congratulations!" I said.

"Thanks." He replied and smiled while rubbing the back of his head.

"Alright, everyone! Now it's time for some mini-games!" The MC said.

After that, the mini games were tug of war, relays, and lastly...

"Next up! Three-legged race!" The MC announced.

"To do that, we'll need 5 pairs in each year by draw lots!" The MC instructed.

"Okay for the First year..." The MC then continued picking lots and announced them each.

"And finally..." She mixed the folded papers in the box and picked two papers.

"We have Jungkook and ____!" She revealed.

WHAT?!

"Oh my gosh, ____! You're finally going to do something this sports festival." Aylee laughed and I elbowed her on the stomach gently.

"Please come up to the starting line!" The MC said then Aylee started pushing me towards the starting line.

"Good luck~" Aylee winked with a thumbs up and went back to the crowd.

I'm so gonna kill her later...

"Um... Let's do our best. I guess?" He said as he glanced at me.

"Y-Yeah..." We started tying the rope around my right leg and his left leg.

"On your marks! Get set. Go!" The referee blew his whistle then we started racing.

"Just follow my lead." He said and I followed.

We were doing good as we were in the lead. When we were close to the finish line, I was carelessly excited that I accidentally forgot that my foot is tied up with Jungkook's that we both fell down.

As I opened my eyes, I was on top of him while he was below me, hugging me to his chest that I could smell his scent. We quickly got off of each other and stood up then faced away from each other, our cheeks tainted pink. In the end, we lost.

"S-Sorry. I shouldn't have been careless..." I said as I looked down.

"I-It's okay. Atleast we have fun, right?" He chuckled.

"Y-Yeah." I nervously laughed. Later on, silence were surrounding the both of us, creating awkwardness.

"I better go then." I said then I immediately ran away from him.

Sooner or later, I ended up at the water fountain. I quick cupped the water into my hands and splashed it to my face.

"____! Thank goodness I found you..." Aylee stopped her tracks and breathed heavily from running to search for me.

"S-Sorry..." I said.

"Are you alright?" She asked with a worried face and I just stood there in silence.

"Hm... Do you like him?"
