Today's the day where it's the celebration of my birthday.

Well, it's kinda sad that my best friend, friends, and even my mom forgot about it.

"Hey, Aylee-"

"Oh, ____! Great timing. Please do me a favor?" Aylee questioned.

"Uh, sure. What is it?" ____ asked.

"Can you help me signing these papers? I really have to do something important in the house right now." She said in a hurry.

"Arasseo. Arraseo. I'll do it." ____ replied.

"Kamsamnida~" And with that, she quickly left.

____ looked at Aylee's table filled with a huge stack of papers. She sighed and just started signing the papers.

Aylee quickly went to ____'s house.

"Is everything ready, Aunt?" Aylee questioned.

"Yes, dear." ____'s mother smiled.

Aylee: Jungkook, where are you?

Jungkook: Just buying her a present.

Aylee: Arasseo. You got an hour before she gets here.

Jungkook's P.O.V.

I'm at the mall right now, finding on what present I should get for ____. She said that anything is fine for ____, but I wanted to give ____ something special.

I went through different shops, scanning items to search for the perfect gift for ____. I want to give her something memorable. Also, something cute like her-

What in the world is wrong with me...

Aish! Just focus right now, me!

After searching through several stores, I found a cute shop full of girl's stuff and with that, I entered the shop and started scanning through items. As I was searching, I finally found an item that catches my attention.

"I guess this is the perfect gift for her." I mumbled as I took it. As I took it, I noticed someone at the other side of the short shelf.

"Taehyung?" Jungkook called.

"O-Oh, Jungkook, what are you doing here?" Taehyung startled a bit.

"I'm asking the same thing." Jungkook said.

"I asked you first." Taehyung replied.

"I'm buying a gift for someone. You?" Jungkook answered.

"I already bought a gift for someone as well." Taehyung said.

"And who would that be?" Jungkook questioned, curious.

"Aish. None of your business. I'm going." and with that, Taehyung left while holding a paper handle bag.

"Hmph. weird..." Jungkook muttered as he went to the counter to pay.

"Oh, is this for your girlfriend perhaps?" The cashier questioned with a smile.

"Ah- no. I-It's for a friend." Jungkook stuttered.

"Oh, really? Sorry about that." The cashier said as she finished scanning the code of the item and put it in a small paper handle bag.

"Thank you for shopping! I put the item in a small gift box, sir. Good Luck!" The cashier said as she lend out the bag to Jungkook.

"Thanks." He said as he took the bag and paid then he left.

Girlfriend...

-At school-

"Finally." ____ sighed in relief as she signed the last paper. She then took the stack of papers and placed it on the table at the faculty office and after that, she took her things and left the school.

"Had a lot of stress today even if it's my birthday." She groaned as she continued walking on her way home.

"____!" ____ turned around to see Taehyung calling, coming from behind her.

"Taehyung?" ____ questioned.

"I have a favor to ask you..." Taehyung said.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Can you keep this and open it later at your house? Since it's something important and you can't let anyone see it." He questioned as he took out a plain normal box.

"Sure. But, what for?" She said as she took the box.

"You'll find out later. I gotta go. Bye, princess!" He replied while giving ____ a wink and ruffled the top of her hair. After that, he left.

"Oh, well..." ____ is what she could ever reply as she put the box in her bag and proceeded her way home.

"This is gonna be a boring day." ____ said as she unlocked the door and opened it.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ____!" ____ suddenly heard numerous yells in the house.

"H-Huh?" ____ was surprised as she entered the house and looked around, seeing colorful decorations, food, and a big 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' sign hanging on the wall.

"Surprised, aren't ya?" Aylee said as she gave ____ a warm hug.

"Oh my gosh, I didn't expect this..." ____ said as she lets out a few tears of joy.

"I made all the decorations by myself with the help of your mom and Jungkook." Aylee explained as she let out a smile.

After blowing out the candles, singing the happy birthday song, eating delicious food, having a wonderful chat, having fun and cleaning the mess, it's time for the guests to go home. Aylee went out ahead since she needs to get home early. What a best friend...

"Help me clean this up later, alright?" ____'s mom questioned as she took the dishes and went to the kitchen.

"Arasseo!" ____ replied.

"Hey, ____..." Jungkook called as he and ____ went outside of the house.

"Mhm?" She waited for his reply.

"Here. Your birthday gift..." He said as he took out the small paper handle bag and gave it to her.

"Jinjja? Can I open it?" She questioned as she took it with a smile.

"If you want to then yeah." He replied as he rubbed the back of his head.

____ opened the paper handle bag and took out a cute small box. She opened the box and she saw a cute bracelet with a heart charm.

"Kamsamnida, Jungkook! You don't have to give me this. But, thank you!" She said as she wore the bracelet.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

"I don't like it. I love it." She replied as she let out a grateful smile.

"I-I see. Happy Birthday, ____. Bye!" He said as he let out a smile.

"See you tomorrow, Jungkook! Thanks for the gift again!" After they both bid goodbye to each other, he left.

____ went back inside and went to her room. She took her bag and brought out the box that Taehyung gave her.

"I wonder what's inside?" She wondered and with that, she opened the box to look for herself.

She saw a cute kitten stuffed toy with a little crown on its head and a card next to it. To her curiosity, she first took the card and started reading it.

Happy Birthday, princess. Sorry if I didn't tell you in person since I want to surprise you as well. Haha! Anyways, I hope you liked the gift, though. The reason why I bought this cute kitten toy, is because it's like you (It also wears a crown). It defines that you're a cute, adorable, sweet, and a lovable princess. I wish that you'll always stay healthy, kind, and beautiful as always and I also wish that you'll always be the princess that I always knew.
