Taehyung's P.O.V.

Even if ____ isn't with me, I still went there all by myself, at Seoul Grand Park. This is the place where me and ____ met 12 years ago. I quite remember it, since I saw the old picture of me and her as little kids at this park. I just want to see my memories in this park one more time.

As I was walking, I suddenly saw familiar faces. Oh, it's just ____ and Jungkook- wait. Why are they wearing the same clothes? Are they actually...

Suddenly, I saw him wiping her cheek with a handkerchief. My heart suddenly ached for a bit.

"____?"

Ugh, Nevermind that. ____'s here. So that means now's my chance to talk to her about it. Even if it's just for a minute.

-End of P.O.V.-

"____?" Taehyung said as he saw ____ and Jungkook.

"Taehyung? What are you doing here?" She questioned.

"Um... can I talk to you for a minute? It's really important." Taehyung asked.

"I'll just go to the toilet." Jungkook said as he and ____ exchanged looks, like they're communicating and he proceeded his way to the nearest toilet.

____ and Taehyung went to an old playground where there aren't any people around.

"Remember this playground?" Taehyung questioned as he faced her.

"What are you talking about?" She said, confused.

"Here." He took out an envelope and handed it to her, which she accepted it.

She opened the envelope and took out the picture.

"What... Why am I here?" She said as she looked at the picture in shock.

"It's you." He said.

"But how?" She said.

"Because you're the princess that I've been looking for. She's here, right in front of me right now" Taehyung said.

"K-Knight? Is that really you?" She asked in happiness and suddenly hugged him with tears of joy.

"Yes, I am." He smiled and hugged her tightly as if they'll never see each other again.

"But how? How did you know?" She questioned as they let go of each other and she wiped her tears with her sleeve.

"When we first met, you accidentally dropped your picture when you were a kid. I was really surprised when I saw it was really you, but I didn't make it obvious and I don't want to tell you too early." He explained.

"Thank you, Taehyung."

"What?"

"Thank you, for searching for me for all these years. I wouldn't have see you again if you didn't..." She said.

"...and, I love you, ever since childhood even until now. I didn't really realized it was you, but, everytime when I'm with you, I always have this feeling, that you are the one. My knight that I have loved for 12 years." She said.

He was speechless, he didn't know that she liked him for 12 years even until now. He was really happy when he heard that, but also sad at the same time.

"____..." He called.

"Yes?" She questioned.

"I'm really, really happy to hear you say that. But... I can't love you..." He said as his face saddened.

Her heart stopped, as if she was hitted by a truck. She just stood there, her heart hurt by his words.

"W-What? But why?" She said, trying to hold back her tears.

"You'll understand. I love you too, but I can't..." He said, feeling hurt as well.

"What's the reason? Why can't you tell me?" She said as her tone is filled with a mix of sadness and anger.

"I don't want to say anymore or you'll get hurt even more of what I'm going to say." He answered.

"I'm already hurt now, Taehyung. Or are you just going to let me know the truth soon that I'll get hurt again even more! Just tell me right now-"

"Because I'm being forced to marry someone that I don't even love!" He finally said it with his expression and tone full of hurt. She just stood there in shock of what she just heard.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm... just gonna go." He said as he turned his back on her, and slowly walked and left.

"____! I was looking all over for you!" Jungkook suddenly went to her and stopped his tracks and breathed heavily.

"You haven't replied to my text messages. Is something wrong?" He questioned with worry.

"Oh, Sorry! It's nothing." She said as she nervously laughed, trying to hide her sadness.

"Is that so? Then let's just go. I think you're not feeling so well today." He said as he held her hand and they both walked.

-Soon-

"So, we're now at your house." Jungkook said as they stopped right in front of her house.

"Ah, yeah. Thanks for bringing me here." She said.

"Oh, by the way." He took out a small box and handed it to her.

"What's this?" She questioned.

"Remember Jiwoo? The little girl you were talking to 2 years ago?" He said.

"Jiwoo... ah yes, the sweet and cheerful little girl. I miss her. How do you know?" She asked in curiosity.

"Well, she's my little sister." He said.

"Whenever I visited her, she would always talk about you." He added as he let out a chuckle.

"Really? Where is she now? Is she fine now?" She questioned.

"She's in America for now for her operation." He replied.

"Oh, I see. I hope she can do it." She said as she smiled.

"Thank you."

"Hm?"

"Thank you for making her smile and happy. I never get to see her smile and her being happy when she was diagnosed with cancer until you talked to her." He said as he took both of her hands with his hands and kissed her knuckles.

"Bye, ____." He smiled as he slowly let go of her hands and with a bid of goodbye, he left. Her cheeks suddenly were as red as cherries.

"Welcome home, dear. How was your outing with your friend?" Her mother questioned while holding a laundry basket full of clothes.

"Great. I have a lot of fun. Let me help you with that, eomma." She said as she took the laundry basket from her mom and helped her.

After that, she went upstairs and proceeded to her bedroom. She took the small box from her pocket and opened it. As she opened it, it revealed a folded paper and a bracelet. She first unfolded the paper and there was a message.

To: My wonderful unnie!~
From: Jiwoo :)

Unnie, how are you today? Ever since you're not going to the hospital anymore, I always talk about you to my family, especially my brother. When you first talked to me, you made me laugh and your stories made me smile. You encouraged me to do my best and never give up, which I still do even until now. I'm soon going to America for my special operation and I promise I will do my best! Thank you, unnie. I don't know what will I ever do without you. I'll always remember your encouraging words. She grew up a lot... She thought as she let out her tears of joy. Wiping her tears away, she took the bracelet and wore it.
