"Sarah!" Her mom called

"Finish packing your clothes your dad will be here soon"

The house was big 2 stories high it looked kinda run down and shabby some windows was broken and I saw the door kinda broken to

I shivered slightly this house gives me the creeps it may not be so bad I thought we pulled up into the drive way and got our things out

my mom went to go open the front door as we walked I noticed dust everywhere and I mean everywhere its like this place been empty for a really long time I heard my mom sigh and say " we can clean it up later Sarah "

she looked back at my dad as he was pulling our stuff to the door she looked back at me and said "Sarah go upstairs and look for your room me and your father will be there in a sec"

I nodded and headed up stairs the stairs was creaky it felt like I was gonna fall

" this place is really old" I mumbled

I did a little happy dance when I made it up the stairs already pretty winded I blinked and looked from the left to the right which way am I suppose to go I thought I looked to the left it had more rooms on it I looked to the right a blank wall greeted me

" I guess I go left then" I say stupidly I walked down the hall suddenly I felt like I was being watched I turned around slowly and looked behind me nothing was there I turned back around and continued

I came up to the first door I opened it and peeked inside I found out it was the bathroom I closed it and continued I came to the second door I tried to open it but it was like something was holding it there I couldn't move it I gave a hard shove but it still wouldn't budge I got up to try again but then I heard a low growl from the other side of the door

I blinked and backed up I gazed at it puzzled I was thinking if that was my imagination when I heard it again but this time it added words like "get away" I gulped down hard almost choking on my own spit

I backed up and turned fast running as fast as I could down the stairs fear radiated from me "wha-what the fuck was that??!!"

was still pretty shook up about what happened up stairs I tried to play it off when my parents came in the living room to see me cleaning the dust off the furniture

my mom gave a raised eyebrow "I thought you was in your room" I gave her a small smile and said " I wanted to clean up before I do"

she just stared at me like she didn't believe me for one second then cleared her throat "well-uh-alright then me and your father will make something to eat you can finish this" she paused and looked at me

"if you want" she headed into the kitchen I looked at my dad he just gave me a smile and headed into the kitchen after my mom

~~~~~ after 2 minutes of cleaning I felt someone watching me on the stairs I looked up but no one was there before I could look away I caught a glimpse of a very pale hand

I just stood there dumbfounded we don't have no other kids its just me and my family so how in the world...I got more puzzled was something in this house I zoned out a bit just thinking about it my mom startled me when she called out that dinner is ready

I went into the kitchen and sat down I glanced at the time on the microwave it said its 6:30pm I smiled and looked at my family my mom looked at me and said "you okay honey?" I smiled at her softly and said "yeah Im just hungry this food looks amazing mom"

my mom grinned "thank you dear now let's eat" we pigged out for a few min I was so hungry that I didn't notice there was glowing red eyes staring at me through the cabinet...
