The next morning,

Jungkook's pov

I woke up early in the morning, feeling energized and ready to start their day. I stretched my muscles and take a deep breath, feeling the cool morning air fill their lungs.

I wore my face viel which was placed on the table beside me,

I was fascinated looking at the beautiful view outside the window, everything feels so fresh.

I suddenly felt an urge to go outside the room although it was still quite early and cold,

I immediately got up from my bed and wore my slippers which were placed right infront of my bed. As I walked outside, a cold breeze hit me, I closed my eyes feeling relaxation

Because of the cold yet gently breeze which was hitting my face time to time.

Suddenly I got an idea of going to the roof, I already went there once at night with somia-shi so I think I know the way.

I looked around and saw the stairs which were leading to the roof top I suppose.

I went towards the stairs and started climbing them one by one.

Soon I reached the top floor where the roof was, some maids were working there, they greeted me when they noticed my presence and asked me if I needed something,

I told them that I didn't needed anything and I came here to go to the roof.

A maid accompanied me to the roof.

I was left speeches when I saw the beautiful and memorising view.

As the sun rised over the horizon, the sky turned a warm orange and pink hue, casting a soft glow over the landscape. The air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers and spices, and the sound of birdsong fills the air.

In the distance, i saw see the majestic Mountains, towering over the countryside and casting long shadows across the landscape. The rolling hills and lush green forests were dotted with small villages and temples.

End of jungkook's pov

Jungkook sat on the large luxary grey coloured sofa which was present there.

"It's beautiful " he said to himself while smiling beautifully.

He was sitting there looking at the view when he noticed someone's presence.

Jungkook looked towards the direction and saw that Taehyung was standing there, He stood up from his place when he saw him, his eyes switched from looking at the view to Taehyung within a second.

It seemed like the time stopped for him, everything blurred except Taehyung for Jungkook.

He came back when Taehyung cleared his throat getting his attention.

"Greetings onmega," Taehyung said, his voice as cold and deep as ever.

Jungkook felt that Taehyung's voice was more deeper but not giving much thought to it he said.

"Good morning," Jungkook replied, trying to hide the disappointment he felt at Taehyung's lack of warmth but still he was happy that Taehyung talked to him.

"What are you doing up here ?" Taehyung asked, his eyes scanning the cityscape.

"Playing hockey," Jungkook said with a smile, goodness his mare asks the most weird and senseless questions at times! 

"Excuse me?" Said Taehyung although he knew that Jungkook was for sure being sarcastic. 

"Soory for the slip of my tongue, I was just enjoying the view." Taehyung hummed hearing Jungkook's response.

Taehyung didn't say anything for a while, and Jungkook felt like he was running out of things to say. But then Taehyung surprised him by speaking up.

"You know I don't love you right?" Taehyung said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook's stayed silent for a few minutes before speaking.

"I know you don't," Jungkook said softly, looking down at his feet.

Taehyung sighed, "If you want to leave me then you can do it freely because you can never get the love of a mate from me and I don't want you to suffer because of me."

Jungkook looked up at Taehyung with water shining in his eyes and a smile," I don't want to leave you it's my choice. I could have left when you left me unconscious but I choose to stay."

"Why? " Taehyung asked in a raspy voice.

"Why, Why do you still want to be with me knowing that I love never love you," Taehyung said with an unexplainable expressions.

"I don't know ", Jungkook said with a plain face.

Taehyung sighed before he sat on the sofa on which jungkook was previously sitting, "Life is hard right," He said looking at the view.

"Lie is not hard it's just our feelings that makes it hard for oneself, life is really simple but we insist on making it complicated," jungkook said as he sat next to Taehyung but with a distance because of the heat.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook and then spoke, "I know there's something you desperately want to know and I can feel it in your scent... I didn't cheated on you." As these words left the Alpha's mouth, the omega felt his spirits lifting up in relief. 

Gosh he already knew his mate wasn't such a bastard.

"It ended before the time." Jungkook wanted to dance but he just hummed and pass a little sigh in response. 

They stayed silent for sometime.

"Do y-you want to be friends," Taehyung said to jungkook after the suffocating silent, he knew that he can't give Jungkook the love and care he deserves because of his fault so he thought that he can atleast give him a little friendship.

He himself didn't knew why he was being different today, till tomorrow he thought that he can never like Jungkook and today he is asking him to be his friend,

Jungkook's lips immediately formed a smile which was hidden beneath the Veil, he nodded his head.

"But still don't expect much from me because in the end you will be hurt, I know you are thinking that you can change my mind about love, I am sorry but I don't think I deserve that, " Taehyung said with a straight forward face.

"You do."
