Quinn POV

It's around noon and Jamie is being dropped off by Wendy. Harry leaves for work around four and comes back home at nine. Jamie will be with me in the mean time though.

As I see him walk up to the mail box, he doesn't look happy. I look to Harry who excited to see his son, and warn him that he doesn't look so happy.

He brushes off what I said and opens the door for Jamie and Wendy. I stand beside Harry and see James, looking miserable and clinging to his mother who has her blonde hair pulled into messy bun and a gentle smile resting on her lips.

"Why are you upset bud?" Harry asks his son, kneeling down in front of him and cupping his cheeks.

"I want to be with Mommy." He says through a pout. He holds onto his mother more and nuzzles his head into her thigh. My heart pinches by his words and I bite my lip.

"You'll be with her tomorrow though." Harry says, trying to make him feel better about being away from Wendy.

"I want to be with her now though." Jamie argues.

"James, you'll see me very soon. You'll have a great time with your Dad and Quinn." Wendy says, trying to convince him.

My eyes are on Harry who looks sad and looks as if he wants to cry. My heart breaks for him because I know all he wants is his son to be happy.

Jamie ignores what his Mom says and hides behind her legs and clings onto her still. Harry stands up and itches his head. "You can take him tonight Wendy." He says, caving in.

"It's your night Harry." She says, tilting her head. She runs her fingers through Jamie's curls and strokes his hair.

"I know, but he wants to be with you, and I want him happy," He says while looking at his son who's staring at his feet. "Can I get a hug goodbye?" Harry asks, looking at his son.

James nods and moves away from his Mom and walks to Harry. "Bye Daddy." He says.

"I love you buddy. Have fun with your Mom, I'll see you Tuesday." Harry says while holding onto Jamie. It's Saturday today and I know how much Harry hates being away from him. He always acts different when he doesn't see Jamie for a few days. It makes me sad because I know he misses him a lot.

"I love you too." He says in a kiddish tone.

Wendy and James soon leave our condo and it falls silence between us. I reach for Harry's hand but he flinches and moves his hand away from me.

"Are you really pushing me away?" I ask my now fiancé.

"No I'm—" He stops speaking and turns around to face me. His hand runs through his hair and he lets out a deep breath. "I'm just confused. I feel like the worlds worst father sometimes."

"You're not a shitty father Harry," I assure him. "He just wanted to be with his Mom."

"I know but still. He didn't even look like he wanted to hug me. All I want is him to be happy, you know?"

His eyes are filled with saddens which makes me frown. I wrap my arms around his body and hug him tightly. He hugs back and holds me tightly.

"His birthday is coming soon. I have to talk to Wendy about what we want to do." He says sighing.

"Is that a bad thing?" I ask.

"No. I just don't want him being by her side the whole time or her boyfriends." Harry admits to me.

I kiss his cheek and rub his lower back. "Anything I can do to help?" I ask.

"You just being here helps. Thank you." He says, making me smile.

"Since we have time on our hands we can start packing," I bring up while detaching myself from his body. "Wanna start?"

"Sure." He says, grinning. He kisses my lips and my cheek.

We begin to pack up the living room with some boxes we had lying around the house. Music plays in the background as we pack, and we also make small talk.

I will hopefully not understand how Harry feels about thinking I'm a shitty parent. Hopefully if him and I have kids in the future he'll realize how amazing of a Father he truly is. And hopefully Jamie will come around on wanting to spend more time here. It's very often how much he wants to stay with Wendy and not stay here.
