RYLE'S POV:

I freshened up and was getting ready to go for dinner at my sister's house whom now I don't feel like a sister anymore.

I grabbed my phone from the dresser and walked towards my main door.

My hand vibrated with the incoming call on my phone. I picked it up to see Stephan calling me.

Me: "Hello"

Stephan: "There is a good news!"
He exclaimed so loud that my ear drum was going to burst.

Me: "Yeah tell what is it?"

Stephan: "Well you remember Sofia from highschool?"

Me: "The Queen Bee?"

Stephan: "Yeah yeah her."

Me: "So what about her?"

Stephan: "She texted me about a reunion our highschool is preparing."

Highschool! What no! I don't want to go back to that place. It was the worst thing of my life.

Me: "I am not going Stephan."
I said and pressed the doorbell for Allysa's.

Stephan: "Are you still up with that thing that happened decades ago?"

Me: "To be frank yeah."

Allysa opened the door for, and Rylee came running towards me.

Me: "Stephan talk to you later. I am at Allysa's house right now."

Stephan: "Okay! But do call me."

Me: "Yep."

I cut the call and handed the little thing I bought for them in Allysa's hand and picked up Rylee in my arms.

She was the only reason, I still visited this place.

"Come in"
Allysa said to me with a heart-warming smile and to be honest it didn't look fake like the other times she had smiled at me. But, I couldn't believe it as my subconscious mind started kicking in all the other thoughts.

I entered the apartment with my loving niece in my arms, who was laughing her heart out. God she was so cute, I really missed Emerson.

I put her down on the couch and sat beside, Marshall was already sitting their and scrolling through his phone while Allysa came with food in her hand.

"Ah! You came."
Marshall exclaimed with delight as he saw me.

"Well, you barged into my hospital, I had to come."

"I didn't barge!"
He looked at me angrily.

"Oh yes you did."
I gave him a smirk.

He rolled his eyes at me and I did the same thing.

"You are annoying."

"Stop it both of you!"
Allysa shouted and Rylee started clapping when we stopped talking or actually fighting, I smiled at her act.

I took the cup of coffee and sipped on it. The place was so silent and it made me feel awkward.

"Ryle"
Allysa spoke.

"Yeah."

"I uh- I"

"Yes?"
What was she going to tell that she felt so shy?

I looked at Marshall who was looking at Allysa and gave her a heading nod. I was confused.

I looked back at Allysa, she immediately turned her eyes down.

"I am sorry Ryle."

I was silent. I didn't speak a single word, I couldn't speak actually.
She looked up at my confused face and guilt was in her eyes.

"I am really sorry for all the things I have said or done to you at the past. I am sorry for not hearing your side for once. It was wrong for me to not to listen to you. What you did was bad but I didn't even bother to know about what my bestfriend did. I am sorry, I hope you can forgive me."

I was stunned. Was this Allysa who was speaking? What happened all of a sudden? Did she know what all had happened?

"I umm don't know what to say or how to react but Allysa, I had forgiven you after a few days. It was me who had done everything and not you. Infact, you never did anything back. But,yes maybe it would take me sometime to get into that same normal brother sister relation."

She looked at me with sparkling eyes which had water at the edge but she sucked it up back.

"Take all your time. But, I hope we can talk again, I should have understood you in your tough times but I am really sorry."

I hugged her tight, when she hugged me back.

"It's okay Ally."
I said.

LAVENDER'S POV:

I folded the letter and kept it back in the box.
*Sigh*
What a day! First that amazing moment wth my senior, Ryle Kincaid and then now a letter from Ryle Kincaid given to me years ago. Hope them to be the same person.

"What a nostalgic day."
I said to myself.

I laid bacl and looked at the ceiling and closed my eyes to suck in all the feelings. All of a sudden, my phone rang. I got annoyed at that sound but got up and picked up the call without even seeing the caller.

Me: "Hello"

Sofia: "You are coming to the reunion right?"

Me: "Umm don't know buddy!"

Sofia: "Come on Lav, you need to come."

Me: "Umm"

Sofia: "Please Lav."

Me: "Okay okay I am coming. But, when is it?"

Sofia: "26th September to 28th September."

Me: "Oh okay. Sofia could you tell me who all are coming?"

Sofia: "Rachel, Stephan, Georgia, Jack..."
She kept on telling but I wasn't interested to know that.

Me: "Is Ryle coming?"
I asked.

Sofia: "Who that hot basketball captain?"

Me: "Yeah him."
What the hell! Did she just call him hot? The audacity.

Sofia:" Not sure."

Me: "Oh okay!"

I disconnected call being upset. Why isn't he coming? Is he busy? Isn't he Dr.Kincaid?
I hope he is. But, whatever I needed to mail for my leave.

I opened my laptop and started typing my leave application.

I typed on and I mentioned about the reunion too. Maybe, if he is my Ryle.

I closed the laptop after senting it to my bosses and bang my head in the pillow and wish with crossed fingers.

"For gods sake I want this ryle to be that ryle I'm thinking of."

I closed my eyes and let the sleep sink me in.
