It Calls

Arcadia and her soul sister, Eclipse were visiting their hometown with not only their boyfriends but with their closest friends as well. Chan and Felix of Stray Kids, along with Taemin and Key of SHINee had decided to join the two women on their first trip back to America since they moved to South Korea. Chan, Arcadia's boyfriend, was thrilled to be along for the ride, as he and Felix had some time off, while Felix was less than thrilled. He was enthusiastic about the trip at first until the two women had come up with the idea to go and ghost hunt on the third night of the week-long trip. Key had similar feelings about the ghost-hunting activities as Felix did. He was apprehensive about going, while Taemin was excited. So, this led to the six of them standing in front of an abandoned hospital in the middle of the women's hometown.

"Do I really have to be here?" Felix asked as he looked over to Chan. Chan knew that Felix was uncomfortable with this turn of events, but he was hoping the younger man would come around to the idea.

"Lix, don't worry, this will be fun." Arcadia side-hugged her closest friend, with Felix wrapping his arms around her in return.

"Arc, you can't hug the fear out of me, you know that, right?" Felix looked down at the short woman and chuckled as she looked up at him with a smile.

"It was worth a try?"

"Do I get a hug too?" Chan asked, frowning at his girlfriend and close friend, who were still hugging.

"Hush, you get plenty of love all of the time!" Arcadia stuck her tongue out at her boyfriend as Felix laughed at the situation. This prompted Chan to walk to them and try to pry Arcadia off of Felix. Meanwhile, Key was looking up at the building with horror in his eyes.

"Key, it'll be okay." Taemin patted the older man on the back, trying to reassure him but Key merely frowned at the younger one.

"I don't sense anything negative from the hospital. If I do start to feel something bad, I'll let you know." Eclipse spoke to Key, which actually took some of the tension out of his body.

"Ah!" The tension instantly flooded right back into Key's body at Arcadia's shriek. The three of them turned to look at Arcadia, Chan, and Felix, only to see Chan with his arms now around Arcadia, pulling her away from Felix.

"They're not helping. Why aren't they taking this seriously?" Key asked Eclipse, as the three of them watched Chan give Arcadia a kiss on the cheek as she tried to struggle against him playfully.

"She is trying to keep Felix calm. He doesn't like this any more than you do. She's just loud about it." Eclipse explained to the two men, who just nodded their heads in return. "Are you guys ready to head in?" Eclipse called out to the three playing around now. Chan paused in his kisses on Arcadia's face, while Felix paused in trying to take Arcadia back. Arcadia just continued to giggle and struggle, as she was very literally hovering above the ground, due to being in Chan's arms still.

"You can put me down now, you know?" Arcadia muttered to Chan, who clearly hadn't realized the situation they were in.

"Will you give me a kiss then?" Chan teased as he went to set her down, only to lift her up again. Arcadia let out a giggle again and nodded her head.

"I will! I promise!" Arcadia giggled as Chan finally set her down, only for her to dart away from him back to Felix. She stuck her tongue out again at Chan and laughed with Felix.

"Babe!" Chan pouted as he turned away from the two laughing at his misfortune.

"Okay, you big baby, I'll give you a kiss." Arcadia walked to Chan and he instantly pulled her into his arms, giving her a soft kiss on her lips as he did so. The two shared a quiet moment, just kissing each other, while Felix gagged jokingly next to them.

"Uh... Guys? Can we go in now? Stop with the cuteness. We're here for the spookiness!" Eclipse called out to the three of them as she, Taemin, and Key walked into the hospital.

"Oh, right..." Arcadia mumbled as she pulled away from Chan. Chan and Arcadia both blushed, having clearly forgotten where they were and that there were others around them.

"As gross as it is seeing you guys kiss, I think it's great how in love with each other you are," Felix commented to the two of them as he slowly approached the hospital.

"Why is it gross?" Arcadia asked as she and Chan, holding hands, followed after Felix.

"You guys are practically my parents at this point. It's gross to see it, no matter how many times I see you guys kissing."

"Parents?" Both Arcadia and Chan questioned in unison. Felix just laughed and shook his head.

"Let's just get this over with. It's going to rain soon." Felix walked into the hospital and instantly froze, causing Arcadia and Chan to nearly walk right into him.

"What's wrong?" Arcadia asked, peeking around Felix.

"The atmosphere in here isn't right... You feel that too, right?" Felix was freaked out instantly and just wanted to run out of the hospital.

"I feel it," Eclipse responded instead of Arcadia. Felix took another few steps into the hospital and ended up at Eclipse's side.

"Oh, I feel that now..." Arcadia replied finally after walking into the building fully.

"What are you guys talking about?" Chan questioned confused. He didn't feel anything at all in the building, but he was starting to feel a little worried.

"I feel it as well, what is it about?" Taemin looked at his girlfriend, with concern in his eyes.

"I don't know, but I think we should be careful. I don't know what's in here with us, but it isn't happy about us being here." Eclipse informed the group around her. Key was immediately horrified while Felix clung onto Arcadia and Chan, shaking now. "Arcadia, keep your guard up."

"Right..." Arcadia stood up a little straighter, trying to push the worry out of her body.

"Are you guys going to be able to keep us safe?" Felix questioned the two women. The two women nodded their heads in unison.

"Of course, Eclipse will be able to protect you guys better, but if it is just a basic spirit that's angry or a low-level demon, then it'll be okay for me too," Arcadia spoke to Felix as she smiled up at him, hoping he wouldn't see the worry in her eyes. Felix saw the worry but chose to not mention it.

"I hope we get out of here safely, but I also hope to get to see you both using your witchy abilities. I've always have loved seeing the moment of danger." Taemin spoke to Eclipse with a smile on his face. This worried Key more than anything since Taemin would take his love of Eclipse's witchiness a little too far sometimes. Key was also interested in Eclipse's witch abilities, but he didn't want to see them in a moment of danger as Taemin said.

"It would be cool to see you kick some demon ass..." Chan muttered to Arcadia, much to Felix's horror.

"Don't tempt the demons! I don't need to meet a demon!" Felix was horrified by his friend's words. Chan and Arcadia merely smiled at him and Arcadia wrapped her arms around him.

"I'll protect you, Lix, don't worry. I won't let anything bad happen to you." Arcadia squeezed the man, as he did the same to her.

"I trust you, Arc." Felix and Arcadia pulled away from each other with smiles on their faces.

"You know, with how lovey you are getting with Felix, I'm starting to get a bit jealous..." Chan mumbled to the two of them. Arcadia instantly hugged her boyfriend and kissed his cheek.

"As much as I love Lix, you're the only man for me." Arcadia smiled up at Chan, who wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lips.

"Can you guys stop?" Eclipse asked the two lovers, who were for once being more lovey-dovey than Taemin and herself. The only reason why Eclipse wasn't being too lovey-dovey with her boyfriend was that she was on edge now with the negative feelings surrounding them.

"Oh, fuck, sorry about that..." Arcadia mumbled as she and Chan pulled away from each other, blushing at their display of affection.

"You three stay here on the first floor, us three will go to another floor, okay?"

"Sure, but is it safe to separate?"

"Should be..." Eclipse's tone was hesitant, which worried Arcadia.

"Alright, well... I guess we'll see you later then?" Arcadia was also hesitant but Eclipse just nodded her head and turned around to face Key and Taemin.

"Let's go?"

"Right!" Taemin was thrilled about going off into the darkness of the hospital, while Key wondered how insane Taemin honestly was. To Key, the younger man was far too happy about going on this adventure, but deep within Key, he too was a little happy to be doing something out of his comfort zone.

"Be safe!" Felix called out to the group as they walked away and turned down the hallway where the staircase was.

"Well... I guess let's go explore?" Chan suggested as he turned to Arcadia and Felix.

"Yup. Let's go." Arcadia took a hold of Chan's hand and began to walk, only for Felix to slip his hand into her free hand. Both Chan and Arcadia looked at the youngest of them.

"You good?" Chan asked the clearly not-good Felix. Felix merely looked away with a blush. It was obvious that he didn't want to sound like he was horrified, despite being horribly scared.

"It's okay, Lix. I got you." Arcadia squeezed Felix's hand and walked with the two men next to her. Chan had a camera in his free hand and was filming the surroundings, while Felix had a flashlight. Arcadia didn't have a free hand for anything, so she was relying on Felix for light and Chan to warn them if he saw anything strange. "Lix, keep the light in front of us. I can't see where I'm going otherwise." Arcadia muttered as she nearly tripped over her own feet.

"Oh, right, sorry..." Felix shinned the light down in front of them and made sure that Arcadia could see well enough. "Sometimes I forget about your night blindness."

"I forget about it too, until I'm dealing with it." Arcadia chuckled with Felix, only for Chan to immediately stop walking. The two others stopped laughing and froze in silence as they looked over at Chan. He looked pale and his eyes were wide. "Chan?"

"I think I just saw someone..." Chan muttered quietly to the others with him. Arcadia released both Felix's and Chan's hands to take the camera from Chan. She stopped the recording and played it back, only for her to then see someone as well. They were standing in front of a door that Chan had swept the camera past, only to look back and see that it was gone.

"You did see someone..." Arcadia whispered to Chan which caused Felix to let out a little squeak of fear. The being on the camera was a taller-looking man. He had his head down and his hair was long and fallen in front of his face. Even so, a glowing red eye had shown through the hair. "And I think it was a demon..." Arcadia didn't want to tell that to Chan and Felix, but she knew that they needed to know what they were getting into.

"Are we going to be killed?!" Felix was about to lose his mind. He was already on the verge of tears and was now clinging to Arcadia, hoping she was joking about what she and Chan saw.

"No, I don't think so. I don't know though. It seems more sinister than it is. If it wanted us dead, we'd be dead. It might just be curious about us since I'm a witch. They probably don't get many witches visiting them here."

"Alright... That makes me feel a little better?" Felix loosened his grip on Arcadia's arm, only to then shriek and nearly throw himself forward away from Chan and Arcadia. Both Arcadia and Chan turned to look at where Felix was and then went to.

"What? What's wrong?" Chan asked the now crying man. Chan went right to Felix and held onto him, hoping to calm the man.

"It... it spoke to me!" Felix gasped out through his sobbing.

"What did it say?" Arcadia asked as she walked to the men and patted Felix on the back.

"It... it... it said that it was going to get me!"

"I understand how scary that can be, but honestly, it probably senses how scared you are and wanted to mess with you. I will protect you. I won't let anything get you. Just stay by my side and you'll be okay." Arcadia's words were calming to Felix. "Besides, we've got Chan with us. He'll protect both of us anyway!" Felix chuckled a little at her words and nodded his head.

"Are you going to be alright?" Chan asked the younger man as Felix slowly stopped crying.

"I'll be okay... I'm sorry for reacting like that..." Felix's apology broke both Chan's and Arcadia's hearts. They hated seeing Felix so worked up. Both Chan and Arcadia had the same idea; to hug the terrified man. They wrapped their arms around him and held him tightly. He hugged them both back, feeling safer than before now. "Let's keep going, I'll be okay now..." Felix mumbled as he pulled away from the others. Arcadia and Chan both stepped back and nodded their heads.

"Psst!" Arcadia's head shot up at the sound. Chan and Felix looked at her confused at her sudden movement. "Hey!"

"Do you hear that?" Arcadia asked the men with her, both of which shook their heads.

"Come here! Come find me!" The more words that were spoken by this voice, the more it sounded like Eclipse speaking to Arcadia.

"I think I'm hearing Eclipse talking to me, but it sounds far away. That is so weird. Maybe she's talking to me through our connection?" Arcadia looked around to see if she could see any sign of the other woman but there wasn't any. "Odd..."

"Want to follow the voice?" Chan suggested to Arcadia, much to Felix's relief and horror. Felix was getting bad vibes from the situation at hand but didn't want to say anything because he figured that he was just overreacting again.

"Sure, let's go find Eclipse," Arcadia muttered as she took a few steps away from Chan and Felix. Arcadia was feeling the same bad vibes, but she didn't want to outwardly show that she was freaked out because she didn't want to scare Felix. She was worried about what they were about to go and find, but she still continued walking toward the area she thought she heard the voice from. Chan and Felix followed after her and eventually slipped their hands back into her hands. Chan on her right and Felix on her left.

"Do you still hear her calling for you?" Felix asked as the three of them walked around the area they hadn't explored yet.

"No, I don't..."

"Where do you think they're hiding then? Shouldn't they be around here somewhere?"

"I don't know, honestly."

"Let's just keep walking a little further, then we'll call Eclipse, okay?" Chan spoke to the others in his leader's voice. Both Arcadia and Felix nodded their heads. All three of them were beginning to feel freaked out now. Chan was keeping a brave face while Felix had begun shaking and tightly holding Arcadia's hand. Arcadia was looking around cautiously, searching for any sign of Eclipse, Taemin, or Key. There were no signs of them though. It was so strange to her. She just didn't understand what was going on.

"Arc, I'm right here!" Eclipse's voice rang out, to all three of them this time. It came from behind a closed door just down the hall from where they were. Felix let out a whimper of fear, Arcadia gasped out in fright and Chan froze in place.

"Was that Eclipse?" Chan asked as he looked at Arcadia's horrified face. "I thought they were going to a different floor..." Chan was starting to show how freaked out he was now, as he tightened his grip on Arcadia's hand.

"Maybe she's just playing a trick on us?" Arcadia asked, knowing full well that was a dumb excuse. "Let's go a little further, then we'll turn back if there isn't anything there, alright?" Felix wanted to break down, he wanted nothing more than to just turn around and go back out to the cars. Chan was close to freaking completely out, but he kept his brave face on for Felix's sake.

"I don't think that's a good idea..." Chan spoke up to Arcadia as she tried to take a step forward toward the voice of Eclipse. Arcadia looked up at him and gave him a smile, before pulling her hands out of Chan's and Felix's hands. She then took the flashlight out of Felix's hand.

"I'll go alone then. Stay here." Arcadia didn't give them a chance to argue with her, as she started walking immediately. She made it a little way down the hallway before someone from the complete other end of the hallway called out to her.

"Arcadia?! That wasn't me!" It was Eclipse sounding completely out of breath, with Taemin and Key. Arcadia froze in place, staring at the door just a few feet in front of her where the other Eclipse's voice had come from. Arcadia turned to look at the others, behind where Chan and Felix were. She then turned back to the door, only to see it opening. A hand began to creep out from the door, pushing it open further. The hand wasn't human though, it was gray in color and was much longer than a human's. The fingers themselves were long and came to a point at the ends of them as if they were claws of flesh.

"Fuck!" Arcadia let out a panicked yelp and spun around to run down the hallway, as Eclipse ran toward her. Taemin and Key followed Eclipse as she ran to where Chan and Felix were, which was where Arcadia ended up. "The fuck?!" Arcadia breathed out harshly as she turned back around to look at the door. The friends watched as the door was pushed open for a moment longer, before it was just thrown completely open, breaking it off the hinges and falling to the hospital floor with a deafening thud. Everyone flinched at the noise and looked at Arcadia and Eclipse for guidance.

"What... what should we do?" Felix whispered as he clung to Chan. Chan reached out for Arcadia's hand and pulled her close to him, just as he'd done to Felix. It was like Chan thought he could protect them from whatever was now stepping out of the room, into the dimly lit hallway. It was hard to see since Arcadia had dropped the flashlight in her panic.

The creature had to duck to get through the doorway. As it fully entered the hallway, it stood up to its tallest height. It seemed to be about 7 to 8 feet tall. The arms of the creature were nearly as long as its body was, coming nearly to the ground. Its legs were long as well, showing that it could easily catch up to any prey. The rest of its body was as gray as its hand had been. It was like it lacked color, with the exception of its eyes. Its eyes were glowing a bright bloody colored red as it stared down the hallway at the group. Its mouth was curved into an inhumanly wide smile, showing its sharp teeth that may have already had blood on them, potentially from past victims.

"What do we do?" Arcadia asked Eclipse, not taking her eyes off of the creature that was still just staring at them.

"Run... I don't know where, but we need to run and get out of here one way or another..." Eclipse muttered back to Arcadia, wondering if the creature could hear her or not. Despite Eclipse's words telling them all to run, no one dared move as the creature finally did something other than stare at them. It began to laugh. It was a deep, guttural-sounding laughter. It sent chills down the group's spines and kicked their panic into full gear.

"Um..." Arcadia wasn't sure what to do at this as the creature tilted its head down to look at the ground.

"I'll give you humans a few moments to run. It's much more fun to play with my food before I eat it." The creature's speaking voice was as deep and guttural as its laugh had been.

"Run! Find a way out!" Eclipse yelled to the group, who instantly gave in to their fears and took off running. They were too far from the front of the building so they knew they couldn't get to that in time.

Chan kept a tight hold on Arcadia's and Felix's hands as they ran through the hallway before pausing at an intersection of hallways. Eclipse, Taemin, and Key went left, so that's the way the other three went as well. They all tried to stay together, but Taemin, Key, Felix, and Chan were in much better physical condition to do all this running. Arcadia and Eclipse decided in unison that they needed to face the creature, not just run from it. They knew that all of them wouldn't make it if they didn't stop the creature before it could get to them. They'd all die if they all kept going like this. So, Arcadia and Eclipse stopped running, tearing their hands away from their lovers' hands.

"Keep going. Hide if you have to. We'll stop this thing. We have to. We all won't make it out if we don't!" Eclipse told the group of men who were already trying to shake their heads. "GO!" Eclipse's booming voice left no room for argument. Taemin looked at his girlfriend with worried eyes, but grabbed Key's hand and pulled him along with him, starting to run away from Eclipse and Arcadia. Chan tried to open his mouth to speak, but Arcadia shook her head at him.

"Go, Chan. Felix. Don't worry about us. We'll be okay." Arcadia's voice was calm, far too calm for Chan's liking. She gave him a small smile, but behind her eyes, she was terrified and Chan could see that.

"Promise you'll come back to me." Chan's voice was low and sounded so small, and it broke Arcadia's heart to hear how much emotion was in that sentence.

"I promise." Everyone knew that wasn't a promise she could make, but Chan merely nodded his head anyway and took a hold of Felix before running off. By now, they all could hear the echoes of loud footsteps approaching them. The creature was running toward them, and even in the dim lighting, Arcadia and Eclipse could see it. Mostly they could see its eyes coming toward them with excitement in them. Even with Arcadia's night blindness, she could see the creature perfectly clear. It was worrisome to the woman, as the creature was the clearest thing she's seen in a while.

"Arcadia, are you prepared for this? We've never vanquished a creature this strong before." Eclipse looked at her soul sister with worry as she spoke but was surprised to see determination in her eyes, the fear was gone now.

"We've got this. If we don't, they all die. That's a good motivator." Arcadia smiled at Eclipse, which may have worried her even more. Whenever Arcadia got this confident, it usually meant that her blood was awakening, which could pose a problem in itself. Eclipse didn't say anything back to Arcadia though, she figured that her blood awakening was a good thing in this case, as they weren't strong enough as their normal selves to take down the creature.

You see, while Eclipse and Arcadia were witches, they were something much more powerful. They held ancient power in their bodies, as they'd been born with it, like everyone else. They, however, were able to channel it every so often, which usually resulted in Arcadia getting lost in power and destroying everything around her. While Eclipse's power was more controlled and calm. She was able to keep a better grip on herself, while Arcadia wasn't. Not to say that Arcadia was weaker, she just had more of a hint of natural insanity in her than Eclipse did. Besides, Eclipse had awakened her blood and her abilities before Arcadia had ever even believed in them. Arcadia was still fairly new to the whole thing. Most of the time, people didn't even know about their ancient blood in them, but those who knew and believed we able to use it with time and practice.

Eclipse reached out to Arcadia, taking Arcadia's hand into her own. Both women stared down the hallway at the approaching demon, who was just walking slowly toward them. It was still smiling at them and was emitting low guttural growls at the sudden power it could tell the women had.

"You aren't normal humans..." It spoke again as it paused in its walking.

"You're right, we aren't. You picked the wrong people to fuck with." Eclipse growled out to the creature as she began to build up her power in her right hand, making it glow purple. At her side, Arcadia began to build power into her left hand, making it glow blue. They knew that together they should be able to defeat the creature, but they weren't sure how much destruction would come of it.

"Now, now. Let's calm down. I don't think you want to do this." The creature kept its confidence up as the women lifted their hands with their power in them. Instead of replying to the creature, the women just let their power flow from their hands, out toward the creature. It was like everything was in slow motion as the blue and purple balls of power went toward the creature, only for it to open its mouth and very literally eat the balls of power.

"Uh, what?" Arcadia was floored and the terrifying feeling of horror came right back to her. The creature swallowed the power and then proceeded to smile back at the women.

"Thank you for the treat."

"That wasn't supposed to happen..." Arcadia looked at Eclipse, who seemed surprised but not fearful yet. Arcadia was about to go into panic mode when the creature began to walk toward them again. Arcadia wanted to take a step back out of fear, but Eclipse held her ground, so Arcadia did as well.

"I think we're going to need to get more powerful and unleash more than before, without worrying about the damage to the building," Eclipse muttered to Arcadia as she glared at the creature.

"If I do that, I'll lose myself completely and I might end up hurting you again! Or maybe someone else this time!"

"Just do it! I'll be fine! I will make sure you don't hurt anyone but that creature!" Eclipse's tone was harsh but stern enough to cause Arcadia to nod her head simply before closing her eyes. As Arcadia gave herself into the ancient power within her, Eclipse summoned hers to the surface. With this, Eclipse's skin took on an even paler tone, her hair went pastel pink and her eyes went silver. Arcadia had a change of her own, her skin paled as well, her hair turned a vibrant shade of red and when she opened her eyes, they were gold. They'd channeled their ancient counterparts and were now hoping they were more powerful than the creature that was merely a few feet away from them.

They were wrong to hope to be more powerful. After a few minutes of releasing nearly all of their energy at this creature, it only had a few scratches on it. Arcadia had long released Eclipse's hand, as she was now thrown into a room away from the now pink-haired woman. Arcadia, even with her giving into the darkness within her, was no match for this creature. She only hoped that Eclipse was by herself. Again though, the hopes were proven to be wrong as Eclipse was thrown into a room across from Arcadia.

"Fuck!" Arcadia struggled to get back to her feet, feeling bruised and broken all over. Eclipse stood up much faster than the redhead did though. It was amazing to see Eclipse's strength as it was obvious that she had much more experience in fighting creatures than Arcadia did. "What do we do now?!" Arcadia yelled out to Eclipse, who didn't bother responding to her.

"Die? That's an option." The creature laughed as if what it said had been the funniest thing ever. Arcadia, in a different position, probably would have laughed at the creature's words, but all she could do right then was slowly lose hope. She had no power left in her and she was slowly blacking out. She could see the edges of her vision slowly turning black and fading away.

"Don't give up! Remember Arc, if we die, the others do too!" Eclipse finally yelled out to the redhead.

"R-Right!" Arcadia moved to go toward the creature, only for it to be right there in front of her, smacking her away from it. The creature had hit Arcadia into the wall behind her, nearly knocking her all the way through it. She let out a gasp as she felt something within her break. She figured it was a rib or something, hoping it wasn't anything Eclipse couldn't fix later. She really didn't want to go to the hospital and try to explain how she'd gotten all these wounds. Not again.

"Arcadia!" Said woman's blood ran cold at the voice of her lover. She turned to see Chan and Taemin coming down the hallway.

"Eclipse!" Taemin called out to the pink-haired woman as he hurried to her side, ignoring the creature coming right for them. Chan ran to Arcadia and helped her stand up before going into a tangent of questions.

"Are you alright? Why do you look different? Is that your blood? What's going on?" Chan asked in rapid-fire, which made Arcadia's head spin in confusion.

"Chan, you shouldn't be here! I'm trying to protect you!" Arcadia gasped out, both in pain and worry.

"Are you alright?"

"You already asked that..."

"Arcadia!" Chan was horrified at the turn of events. He'd really believed that Arcadia and Eclipse were going to be able to fight this creature, but now it was obvious he shouldn't have run off in the first place. If they were going to die, he'd rather die with Arcadia than without her. "Come on, we need to-"

"To what? I can hardly move now. I can't run away."

"Then let's fight together."

"You're a normal human, Chan. You can't fight this thing, I won't let you get anywhere near it."

"Just watch me!" Chan released Arcadia and let her fall back to the ground, as he went toward the creature with a pipe in hand.

"No! Chan!" Feeling pure terror that Chan was about to die, Arcadia, feeling herself go numb with fear, stood back up and hurried for him, just as the creature turned around and went to smack Chan away. Arcadia was able to pull Chan away from the creature's hand, causing them both to fall to the ground. Arcadia instantly lifted her hand up and for the first time that night, her power was enough to knock the creature backward, hurting it in the process. Black blood came from the now open wound in the creature's chest where Arcadia's power had hit. "What?"

"You brat!" The creature roared, only to be hit by Eclipse's purple power, knocking it further away from Chan and Arcadia. It stumbled and tripped over some wall debris on the ground, nearly causing it to fall over completely.

"Get up!" Eclipse yelled at Arcadia and Chan. Both of them scrambled to their feet and hurried to Eclipse and Taemin, who were holding hands now.

"What's going on? How were we able to hurt it now?!" Arcadia was both relieved and terrified at this situation.

"I think it has something to do with their hidden power. Everyone has something hidden within them, remember? I think we're tapping into that with them here now."

"Seriously? That's... dangerous..." Arcadia wasn't sure about using their lovers' hidden power, as it could drain them and hurt them in the end. Even so, Arcadia knew exactly what Chan would say if she told him to leave now, he'd refuse and tell her that she can use him to help defeat the creature. So, Arcadia didn't even bother trying to send Chan away, she just grabbed his hand and smiled up at him. "You ready to help kill this thing? It might be a little... gory for you." Chan held Arcadia's hand tightly in his own.

"I'll do anything to protect you and help you." Chan's resolve was something else. It honestly made Arcadia proud to be with him, not that she wasn't always as he was wildly amazing at everything he does.

"Then get ready. You and Taemin will probably pass out in the end. You'll feel like your soul is being torn apart and it will be too much for you. You could die if Arcadia loses herself and takes too much." Eclipse spoke to Chan, as Taemin had already experienced this feeling. Since it wasn't Taemin's first time fighting a monster with Eclipse.

"No problem. I trust Arcadia with my life. I know she wouldn't hurt me or let me die." Chan smiled at Eclipse before smiling at Arcadia, who was worried now. She was notorious for losing herself, but she hoped with Chan there that she'd be able to remain stable.

"It's coming! Get ready!" Eclipse yelled out to the group as she noticed the creature had gotten over its shock and was furious now. It was no longer laughing or being cocky, it was growling and stalking toward them. Even Taemin and Chan could feel its power and anger radiating off of it. It worried both men to their cores, but they trusted their lovers so they knew everything would be alright, or at least hoped it would be.

"I will tear them apart, little witches. I will make you watch as the life drains from the people you love most. Then I will go after the pathetic ones and tear them to shreds as well." The creature had already had everything planned out for how this was going to go. However, it miscalculated how powerful the women were now that their lovers were there with them.

Eclipse and Taemin stood there strong as a mix of purple and red began to flow around them. It was obvious to Chan and Arcadia that they already had their union of abilities as strong as it could be. Arcadia shot one last look at Chan, who merely smiled at her before she allowed her blue power to flow around her and Chan. Chan was able to bring up the hidden power he had inside just enough for a darker blue haze to start to grow around him.

"Hmm... Blue as well. Cool..." Arcadia muttered to no one in particular as she admired the darker blue power mixing into her blue around Chan and herself. Chan was amazed at the fact he could pull anything from him, as he hadn't ever done anything of the sort before. Arcadia had never known how to explain it to him, so it shocked him that it came surprisingly natural for him to do such a thing.

"This show of power is nothing compared to myself. I will end you little witches and your humans too!" The creature roared as it lunged at the four of them. They waited until it was close enough before releasing all of their built-up power, purple and red mixed with the two blues, making it a black ball of pure energy that hit the creature right in the chest.

At first, it seemed like it did nothing but disappear into the creature. The being began to laugh, until it started to shake uncontrollably. The black ball opened up in the middle of its chest and began to swallow it hole. It tried to get away from it, but it was attached to it.

"Stop this! I won't allow you to defeat me! You're just pathetic humans!" The creature cried out in a mix of anger and fear. It then began to laugh as the majority of it was swallowed up. It became suddenly calm as it stared at the four humans. "How cliche, the power of love, saving the day..." With that, the creature continued to laugh at the confused humans in front of it. Just as it was about to be swallowed hole, it spoke once more. "I will return, don't you think you're safe yet!" With that, it was gone. The black ball began to eat away at itself until there was nothing left.

"Should we be worried about what it said?" Chan asked Arcadia, who just stood there staring ahead blankly in response.

"It might have just been trying to scare us, but I think we need to get out of here and seal this place off. Just in case..." Eclipse said as she looked over at Arcadia, who was oddly silent. "Arc? You good?" Arcadia ever so slowly began to turn her head to look at Eclipse, passed Chan, who was freaked out now.

"I'm... not sure?" Arcadia's eyes were black with gold irises.

"Is that normal?" Chan asked curiously as he leaned toward Arcadia. She flinched and took a step back away from her lover. "Arcadia?" Chan's curiosity turned to worry as she refused to look at him. Chan didn't like that she was trying to back off from him, so he took a larger step forward and took her face in his hands. "Hey, it's alright. Just breathe, okay?" Arcadia hadn't even noticed that her breathing was unnaturally fast and labored.

"Get away from me, I'm going to hurt you!" Arcadia managed to gasp out between her gasping breaths.

"No, you won't." Chan kept a tight hold of her face as he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers carefully. He didn't want to startle her and cause her to accidentally hurt herself or even pull away from him. However, Arcadia did the opposite and got closer to Chan as she deepened the kiss. Chan was about to slip his tongue into her mouth when Eclipse coughed awkwardly. This caused both Chan and Arcadia to step away from each other, embarrassed.

"Well... That was a way to get her back to normal..." Eclipse commented, making Taemin laugh and smile at his lover.

"It worked? I'm not losing it?" Arcadia looked down at her hands and then back up to Chan. "Thank you, Chan. I was really worried I was going to hurt you for a moment there."

"Nonsense. No matter how gone you could be, you'd never hurt me." Chan's faith in Arcadia was astonishing to his lover.

"You truly love her, that's good," Eclipse mumbled to mostly herself. "Well, let's go get Felix and Key. I'm sure they're freaking out."

"Oh fuck! Let's go!" Arcadia took a hold of Chan's hand and pulled him along with her as she hurried off to the front of the building where Felix and Key had surely ran off to. Taemin and Eclipse followed behind them, also holding hands as they hurried along. Once the group got to the front of the building, they found Felix and Key in a corner, huddled together, looking horribly freaked out. Once they spotted the group, they got up and hurried to them. Felix went to Chan and Arcadia while Key went to Taemin and Eclipse.

"Where were you?! You just left us all alone!" Felix yelled at Chan, as the older man pulled him into a hug. Arcadia couldn't help but hug the both of them, feeling a little left out.

"I'm so sorry, Lix, but if Chan hadn't come, we'd all probably be eaten or something," Arcadia explained to the younger man. Felix let go of Chan to change who he was hugging to Arcadia.

"I'm sorry for leaving you, but it's over now... I think?" Chan spoke to Felix, which didn't really help stop the younger one's worries.

"You think?" Felix asked horrified as he looked up at Arcadia and then at Chan.

"Uh... Let's just get out of here, okay?" Arcadia took Felix's and Chan's hand and pulled them along with her to leave the building. She didn't really care if Eclipse, Taemin, and Key were following them or not, she just wanted to get out of there. Once at the closed door to the building, Chan reached out to open it, only for it to not open.

"What now?!" Felix cried out in horror.

"I think it's locked," Chan responded, starting to feel a sense of dread.

"I don't remember us locking it... did we?" Arcadia looked over to Eclipse, who wasn't even paying attention to Arcadia and her little group. "Eclipse? The door won't open."

"Why not?" Eclipse asked as her attention was finally drawn to the three trying to leave. Arcadia shrugged her shoulders in return, unsure of what to answer. Eclipse sighed and walked over to them and kicked the door in the middle, causing it to fly open. "It's open now."

"Yeah, no fucking shit it is." Arcadia laughed at the now broken door before hurrying out of the hospital with Felix and Chan still holding onto her hands.

"Can we go back to the hotel now? I wanna sleep for at least half a day." Felix looked at Chan and Arcadia for a response.

"Yeah, let's go." Arcadia turned to look back at Eclipse, but she had already gone back to Key and Taemin. "We're leaving! Don't get murdered or anything!" Arcadia yelled out to the group still inside. Eclipse merely waved a hand at her in response.

So, with that, Arcadia and her two favorite guys went to her car. They hurriedly got into it and then drove off, hoping to leave the negative vibes and terrible experience behind them. It would stick with them for a bit, but for Arcadia and Chan, it would serve to grow their relationship further. They'd finally fought off something together and Arcadia had learned that Chan was the calm to her storm within. It was overall a negative experience for everyone involved, but it had its good sides as well. The witches had grown stronger from this. It would become one of their many trials throughout their lives as witches, but with Chan by Arcadia's side, and Taemin by Eclipse's, they knew everything would turn out just fine for them all.
