I sat there...

Looking at the blank paper in my comp book.

It's as if I expected the words to just magically appear.

As if out of nowhere, something beautiful to behold would be spontaneously generated.

With no effort on my part.

It wasn't all too hard to believe.

It had happened before for me.

But usually I sit here, with no idea what the first word will be.

There are also those times when I have an idea of where I want to go with a specific thought.

But the words just never materialize.

I must admit that my best works happened when the words did magically appear.

I guess that's why this writing thing has worked so well for me.

It amazes me.
