Rob's POV
I got into my car as fast as physically possible, I started driving when it hit me...I have no idea where I'm driving too. I'm about to text Preston where he is, when one place comes to mind, the place we first met...the train station.

I drove there as fast as humanly possible, as soon as I got out I saw a figure standing at the end of the tracks. I prayed so hard that it was Preston standing there and not some homeless guy. I ran over to the figure and stopped when my hand was only a few inches from his shoulder "P..Preston?" the person turned around, and I saw Preston bruised and battered. He had a black eye along with a lot of cuts and bruises along his face. "Hi Rob" he said quietly, his voice I had only heard once was now raspy. I saw that his eyes seemed to be red and puffy like he's been crying, the thought of him crying was too much for me to bear, so I pulled him into a hug just wanting to hold and protect him from everything.

He hugged back and when we pulled away our lips were centimeters away, this time though instead of him making the first move I did closing the gap between us and kissing Preston, something I had been dreaming of doing for forever. And everything that night was truly perfect, Preston didn't tell me what happened to him or how he got those bruises, but I didn't care all that mattered at that moment was that he was safe with me...
