"I'm so sorry Chloe."Axe body spray was annoying me to my wits today.

He was apologizing so much.

I wanted to choke him or something to stop him from talking so much.

"Axel. Stop talking."I stated placing my hands on my sides.

I was using the third towel to dry my hair because we had to rush to the showers to get clean.

We were sort of clean.

I mean, Axel still had a faded red streak on his face, but I just kept my mouth shut about it.

He stopped in front of me worried.

I sighed irritated by the determination of this ass.

"Are you okay at least?"He asked with actual sincerity in his voice.

"Who are you and what have you done with Axel Grey?"I interrogated.

He rolled his eyes, "I just wanted to make sure that you weren't going to have a brain bleed so I wouldn't have to get rid of your corpse."

I blinked twice, "The things you come up with."

He could actually have murdered me any day now and gotten rid of the evidence easily.

Thank goodness we were in school otherwise I'd be done for.

But the halls were empty since everybody was either at a club or playing some kind of sport.

I shuddered at the thought of playing a sport.

That shit nasty.

"So...What's going on with the tutor?"I asked remembering why we were covered in paint in the first place.

Axel's temper was something else.

He shoved his hands in his pockets leaning against a locker.

"I was sorta wondering if you could maybe somehow be my tutor."

I was struck with surprise, no way he just asked me to be his art tutor.

Maybe he felt some kind of friendship spark between us.

"Me? Why?"I asked a little too enthusiastically.

"Because we're supposed to be friends and friends are supposed to help each other out?"He said it in some sort of question.

"Go on."

"And you're the best artist I know. Plus I don't want to have to pay some stranger."

I blushed furiously smiling like an idiot all whilst looking down as if I'd just spotted my future on the floor.

"Aww. Sure."I answered.

He smiled slightly and damn I swooned.

I really loved it when he smiled.

He rarely did so every chance I'd get to see him smile; I'd make sure the ambulance was on speed dial.

"Okay let's go to our first lesson then."He said interrupting my pervet thoughts.

We really had to stop leaving school before the school bell rang.

I wondered how it was even possible that we got off without ever getting detention.

"Okay."

~later~

We drove in silence once again; it was getting darker by the minute.

I didn't know why at the time but I just really enjoyed watching Axel drive.

He'd always be so focused and lost in his own world.

The air conditioner blew some fresh air into my face.

I loved the way it smelled, like pine on a rainy day.

I missed the rain.

"We're here."He announced when we arrived.

I leaned over to see the giant house adorned with lights.

I forgot how big his house was. I also forgot that he was rich.

I'd finally learned how to open the cursed door when I got stuck once.

He left me to teach myself how to open the advanced thing. Apparently all I needed was patience and a gentle touch.

Let's face it; I'm the opposite of patient and the opposite of gentle.

I'm the kind of person that screams at paint to dry.

It was lovely, there was a fountain right by the entrance.

Axel opened the door letting himself and myself in.

I heard the scurrying of tiny feet and tiny barks.

"Aaaahh!!"I screamed as the animal jumped on me.

I fell over backwards, its head was burried in my neck then it kept sticking out it's tongue.

I was overwhelmed by the weight and quite frankly scared to my toes.

Axel stood over me as this thing murdered me.

"You're just going to stand there while this wolf mauls me to death?!"I demanded.

He smirked, "Chloe it's just Royal. He's licking you."

I barely recognized him.

I was embarrassed at my own stupidity.

I got up and set him down carefully but he kept wiggling trying to lick my face.

Jeez.

He was huge.

The Jack Russel had grown fat, like lard lad fat.

He was so close to the ground it hurt seeing him walk around.

But he sure was energetic, running around in a circle chasing his tiny almost non-existent tail.

"What do you feed him?"I asked looking up at Axel.

"He has I.B.S."He stated calmly.

I held in a giggle.

"What?"

How'd a dog get I.B.S?

"Axel darling!"

The voice startled me and it seemed Axel was also startled.

The owner of the voice walked in her hips swaying and her arms out stretched.

She kinda looked like Elsa in Let it Go. Her blonde hair was silvery but her eyes were a stormy grey.

"Mother."Axel returned looking like he wanted to jump off a building.

She hugged him close and he tried to push her away.

It was so funny I laughed out loud. I covered my mouth panicking but it was too late; she'd already noticed me.

She smiled widely her eyes gleaming.

"Axel?Is this your girlfriend?"

"No...no no no."I objected hands raised.

"She's my friend and tutor; Chloe."He answered.

Her eyebrows raised her voice going up an octave, "The Chloe?"

What did she mean the Chloe?

I bet she wasn't talking about my street art, I never signed it in my name though....unless...

Oooohhhhh the fights.

Shit.

"Yes."Axel admitted.

Wow, way to throw me under the bus Axe Body Spray.

Remind me to never Rob a bank with him. That'd be disastrous.

But she did the most unexpected thing.

She pulled me into a hug. A bone cracking hug.

"Axel has told me so much about you! Would you like to stay for dinner?"She offered.

That was strange.

What exactly did Axel tell her about me?Maybe she planned this dinner just so she could poison me.

Maybe.

Axel looked very strange, he wasn't exactly thrilled when his mom hugged me. He looked embarrassed even.

Was he embarrassed of me?

Sure he was filthy rich, he came from old money.

But my parents were rich too, my dad was a ....was a...

Did I not know?

What kind of crappy daughter was I?

My mom was a...some kind of lawyer?

Damn my freaky brain.

How'd I not know?

But it hurt a lot to think that Axe Body Spray was embarassed of me. It hurt a lot.

"Mother that's okay. We just need to do the assignment that's all."Axel finally said looking right at me.

"Okay honey."She said cautiously letting me go slowly.

Axel took my hand and I tried to slip it out of his but he looked at me confused before letting go.

It felt nice to finally hold his hand.

Our hands fit perfectly like a piece to a puzzle. But the thing about a puzzle is that it never stays together.

He led me up his ginormous staircase.

I hated how gorgeous it looked. It was just so grand and well... expensive.

It pissed me off!

He increased his pace which forced me to increase mine to go after him. After a while he disappeared at the top.

"Hey!"I shouted.

He appeared at the top shrugging. It took a while, with the heavy breathing and hyperventilating; I finally made it to the top of the stairs and was met by his annoyingly handsome face.

"What took you so long?"He asked smirking.

Whilst catching my breath, "You...were way too fast."

"I can go slow too."

I nearly choked on my saliva, dirty images flooded my brain and I couldn't stop them.

"What the fuck did you just say?"But that sounded even worse.

"I said that I can walk slowly. Get your head out of the gutters."He answered slowly as if I were a slow child.

Damn my freaky brain. That teacher in fourth grade messed me up and a whole lot of other people.

She was so bored with her husband she'd talk the worst shit all the time, like how they hadn't done the deed in months ....I bet her virginia had curtains.

Axel walked down the hallway and I had to follow. He took long strides which made me quite exasperated because he was so fast, even though he was literally strolling.

I had a great view of his ass and damn...it looked breathtaking.

To think that he sits on that everyday and that farts come out of there? It completely blew my mind.

How could something so beautiful be so dirty?

*cough*

That's what he said.

"Stop eye-fucking my ass Anderson."

Eye-

....

How the fuck did he do that?

All the damn time.

"Damn it."I mumbled under my breath.

"I heard that too."He said; my jaw dropped to the ground making a *clickety kling kling brook dududududu* sound like a lid dropping at 3am when I'm in the kitchen trying to sneak some food into my room.

I wonder how it was so much louder at night.

I sighed fondly at the memories of my mom marching in to inspect the source of the noise with her slipper and belt in hand.

"Memories" I said dreamily.

"Are you okay...?" He asked startling me.

Great, now he thinks I'm crazy.

"That ship sailed years ago Anderson."
