I woke up at the sound of my phone alarm. I groaned before stretching my hand and switch off the phone, yes I switched it off , the easier route. I was too lazy to open my eyes to snooze the alarm.
Five minutes is all I needed; I told my mind before going back to my beauty sleep. In less than two minute, my blanket was yanked away from me, letting the cold air hit my chest. I knew who it was even without opening my eyes.
"What's wrong with you Sherry," l yelled as I curl my legs towards my stomach as an attempt to shield myself from the cold.
"Get up," she demanded.
"NO! now get out of my room you psycho," I retorted back, my eyes still closed.
"No you moron!! I am not getting out till you get off that bed," she yelled while dragging me off the bed.
I groaned, knowing her she would never leave the room unless she saw me getting in the shower so I decided to get up.
"Ugghh I hate you," I yelled while heading to my bathroom that was directly connected to my room. Each room in our house has it's own bathroom.
"We all know that's not true, after all you would never get to school on time if it weren't for me. You should be thankful," she yelled back.

I walked out of my room with clean light blue skinny jeans and a white top on, my black and white converse on and my black backpack hanging on one of my shoulder, my black medium length hair was in a loose low ponytail.
I knocked Sherry's room. "Sherry!! You better be downstairs in a minute if you don't want to walk to school," I warned her while proceeding going downstairs to grab my breakfast.
"I am already down here you idiot," I heard her yelling from downstairs.
"Watch your language when speaking to your sister!" I heard mom scolding Sherry.
"Thanks mom, I keep telling her the same thing but does she ever listen??" I sighed dramatically. "Wow!! pancake," I hurriedly to the kitchen and grab one pancake from the plate.
Mom in a striped dress and her apron on was standing near the stove holding a spatula as she waits to flip another pancake and Sherry in her usual baggy outfits was sitting on the tall island's chair eating her last pancake.
"She is just one year older than me," Sherry pouted.
"Even if I were born two minutes before you I would still be the older one," I reasoned.
"You better start moving now if you don't want to be late," my mom told us while checking her watch.
Sherry grabbed her bag and we headed out after kissing mom on her cheek and give her our goodbyes.
Sherry and I are not blood related but we love each other like blood related sisters. Sherry and I are different in many ways, we differ opinion-wise, personality-wise and we differ in looks too. For example she is a morning person while I'm so not. She is not girly while I'm so girly. She is a blondie while I am a brunette. Both our parents are natural blondies too, that and my natural tanned skin are the only things that kept reminding me that I am adopted. Apart from that you can never tell, our parents loves us both and treats us equally. I couldn't ask for better parents and family.
We, the Daltons all have brown eyes, although I always joke I've mom's eyes, our shades are lighter than Sherry and Dad. The female in my family are blessed with natural slim bodies and so do I. My Dad is tall and a bit muscular.
Most of the time Dad is away in business trips so we spend most of the time with our mom, though she sometimes has business trips too. Dad is an international lawyer while Mom is an interior designer.

Betty and I were sitting at our usual table during lunch break. Beatrice Thomas had been my best friend for over ten years, we were like sisters, we told each other everything and I mean everything, we kept no secrets between us.
Betty is a brunette like me. She has light brown hairs and amber eyes. She is a little curvy and a bit taller than Sherry and I but most people can't tell the difference. She is one of the prettiest yet don't-mess-with girl I know. Betty is that kind of a person who is very social, everyone likes and at the same time everyone is scared to get on her bad side.
Betty and I are alike in a lot of things. We are alike in our sense of fashion, our sense of humor, our likes of gossiping especially when we encountered handsome guys. We are both girly yet we both love sports. I guess that's why we got along so well.
Betty, Sherry and I are all in a girls basketball team where Betty is a captain. Sherry is not a sport person but we used to drag her to play with us ever since she was young so she eventually grew to like basketball and now she is so good in it. Us three were among the five key players in the team.
Betty and I were 17 and seniors while Sherry was 16 and a junior in our school. Since Betty and I were like sister, she also treated Sherry like her own sister.
"So how was your weekend?" Betty asked me.
"It was boring getting stuck in the house with Sherry; it's the last thing to having a normal weekend," I answered her.
Did I mention that Sherry is the most weird person on the earth? No? Well let me tell you now she is, her personality is the weirdest, she spends three quarter of her day reading weird boring fiction books about vampires, witches and werewolves. And the remaining quarter she watches the movies of those weird stuffs, that's how she defines a perfect weekend. She is so obsessed with those non-existent creatures.
"Speaking of the devil!" Betty shouted while chewing a piece of her pizza. I turned on the side she was looking at and saw Sherry heading towards us with a tray of food in her one hand and a big book in her other hand. I shook my head at the sight before turning back to continue eating my pizza.
In less than a minute Sherry reached our table and sat beside Betty.
"Hey Betty! I missed you, where were you this weekend?" Sherry asked Betty after hugging her.
"I went to visit my Aunt, that's why you didn't see me around. But don't worry I will be there to drag you out of your room this weekend," Betty winked at her playfully.
"Are you going to sit here?" I asked Sherry.
"Yes, why?" she answered.
"Aren't you ever going to sit with your friends? I mean you should try to socialise now more than ever, what will you do when we go to college next year? Sit alone?" I asked her.
"Can we worry about that when you actually go to college?" she asked, giving me an innocent look with a smile.
I rolled my eyes before going back to grab another piece of my pizza.
"So, new book?" Betty asked sherry with an amused look on her face while taking the book from sherry.
I knew what Betty was doing, she wanted to piss me off.
"Yeah it is, it just came out last Thursday. It's this story about a vampire girl falling in love with..." I cut her off before she could start rambling about those nonexistent creatures.
"No one is interested, now start eating before your food gets cold and end up in dustbin," I told her, putting a fake smile at the end.
Sherry shoot me a glare before starting eating her pizza. Betty was looking at us with amusement all over her face.
"So what are your plans for tomorrow?" Betty asked me.
"Nothing, you know how I don't like birthday parties. A simple dinner with my family at home with a cake like every year and let's not forget the girls night," I answered her while getting excited with the last part.
"Well I thought since you are turning 18 you would do something different this year," Betty stated her thoughts.
"Well you thought wrong!" I informed her. "You better be there early for dinner and girls night. I have...." I was about to tell Betty about this new chick flick before Sherry interrupted.
"Count me out, I have a book to finish. I'm not having another one of your girls night," Sherry interrupted me.
"Too bad you have no saying in this, you will be there and that's final," I snapped at her while giving her a glare. That is how it's always with Sherry, I have to force her otherwise she won't agree with anything.
"Hi," I heard a familiar voice greeting me. I looked up with a wide smile and came across sky blue eyes which I grew to love.
"Hi Luke!" I answered while waving awkwardly.
Betty and Sherry were looking at me with amusement all over their face. Luke was also grinning awkwardly. Well that's how we had been acting around each other for two years, I had a huge crush on that pretty boy for two years.
Luke Wilson is 18 years old. He is tall, he has dark brown hairs and blue eyes. He transferred to our school two years ago. He is also a senior and a football Captain. He is one of the hottest guy in Filbert High school.
"Umm.. Are you free tomorrow?" Luke asked.
"Yeah I am, why?" I answered him curiously.
"Well I was thinking... I mean could you go on a date with me tomorrow?" Luke asked me nervously.
I am positive my heart stopped beating for a second. I waited for that day in two years, at last.
"Yeah, why not," I tried managing my coolness which I am sure I failed.
"Ok, I'll text you the details later," he replied with a smile on his face.
I smiled as I watched him going back to his table of football players and some cheerleaders.
I looked back and exchanged looks with Sherry and Betty before we all left a loud scream simultaneously. We earned some few glares from student in nearby tables. I am sure we looked like a bunch of psychos but I didn't care.
"I am so happy for you. At last your two year crash is having a progress. I am so proud of you," Betty told me while shading an imaginary tear out of her eyes.
"So, no girls night tomorrow? Thank God," sherry added with a sigh of relief.
"Nope, we will have more than girls night tomorrow. You girls will be there planning my outfit, my hairstyles and how I should act on a date," I told them, exaggerating the last part.
"This will be the best birthday ever!!" I grinned.
I have never been more wrong.
