Your POV:

That same thought was on my mind as everything started. He was in fact right. This place was hell. It was hell in its finest form.
Bugs surrounded Gonta, leaving him uncovered. The mass was all types of bugs, insects, and spiders. I could feel myself start to grow scared from it. The bugs soon swirled around Gonta, going in our directions.
I started running around the room, being obviously terrified. Bugs were surrounding all of us. Gonta had a creepy smile on his face as all of this was going on. We wanted to get away. We wanted to leave the room. We wanted to get out, but the exit was blocked.
An hour passed by, but it felt like an eternity. The time was 10 o'clock. The nighttime announcement flashed on the screen, showing the colorful cubs. Despite that, it didn't save us. We were stuck.
An army of spiders surrounded me as I tried to get away. My fear was a reality.
We were all packed into a corner. Himiko was covered by a huge mass of writhing insects. Angie was next to her, freaking out. Tenko was running to Himiko to save her. Tsumugi was on her knees, looking like she was going to get sick from all of this. Kaede as next to Shuichi, clinging onto him in fear. Shuichi and Rantaro were next to each other, trying to get away. I knew what was happening to me.
"What happened, Kokichi!? You said you'd be back by nighttime!" Shuichi exclaimed.
"He was probably lying..." Rantaro replied casually, but he had a disgusted look on his face.
"Ahhhh! Oh no! Himiko is being buried alive by insects!" Angie exclaimed.
"H-Himiko! Hold on!" Tenko exclaimed.
"The more you yell, the more bugs can get in your mou—PFTH! PFTH!" Tsumugi replied.
I looked at the situation I was in. I was basically cornered by spiders. I was terrified. Tears appeared in my eyes as they got closer. The fangs... the beady eyes. The eight legs. There were many different types as well. They were most likely poisonous.
I let out an ear piercing scream as they got closer. I fell onto my knees in fear.
"N-No.... please don't get any closer..." I cried.

Rantaro's POV:

I was having trouble staying away from the damn insects. I was next to Shuichi as I tried to stay away. I took note of some of the others and their situations. I had to think of a way to get out of this.
'There has to be a way to escape...' I thought, 'maybe if I—'
Suddenly, a loud shrill scream shook me from my thoughts. It sounded in fear and sadness. I knew the person it came from. How could I not?
I looked over to my left to see (y/n) on her knees, surrounded by a specific type of bug. Spiders. She was surrounded by tons of them. She had tears in her eyes as they got closer to her.
'Oh my god... (y/n)!' I thought.
I quickly went in the direction she was in. I took out my Monopad, and started using it to push the eight legged creatures out of the way. If I killed them, Gonta would probably kill me.
Soon enough, I made it to where (y/n) was.
I scooped her up, carrying her bridal style, before running  out of the opening I made. I was panting by the time I got her out of there and near Shuichi. I couldn't just let her stay there... she would've had a panic attack.

Your POV:

I was so focused on my fear of spiders that I had no idea what was going around me. I was scooped up into someone's arms and taken away from the group of spiders.
It was Rantaro who saved me. I blushed lightly when I was in his arms. I felt safe there. It was so nice.
I was taken near Shuichi and Kaede.
"(y/n), are you alright?" Rantaro asked me.
"I am now..." I muttered in response.
"Are you scared of spiders...?" Rantaro asked.
"No... I thought I screamed because I saw a butterfly..." I replied sarcastically.
"No need to be snippy..." Rantaro muttered.
Rantaro then carefully set me down, letting me stand near Shuichi and Kaede.
"(y/n) are you ok?" Kaede asked.
"I'm fine Kaede," I replied.
After awhile, our bodies became very exhausted. We were so close falling asleep. Once we were at this state... he finally came back...
The person who told us he'd be back by nighttime... he finally came back but at this point. I honestly had no idea if I should be mad or relieved. I decided I'd be both. I'd be angry that he was late, but relieved that he did show up.
"Ughhh! There are bugs everywhere! How nast—I mean, how nice!" Kokichi exclaimed.
I noticed he looked very nervous. Sweat was rolling down Kokichi's face. He was obviously lying.
"Oh, you come back, Kokichi! Come, we have fun!" Gonta exclaimed, "we gonna have so much fun!"
"Y'know, as much as I'd *love* to do that... maybe we should call it a day, hm?" Kokichi asked in response, "the bugs look really tired, and a gentleman knows to do things in moderation, y'know?"
"Oh...Gonta understand..." Gonta replied.
"So you clean up while I take care of business with the others," Kokichi said with a smile.
Kokichi's hands were full of several Kubs Pads. I guess he was telling the truth about the lock picking thing. I still felt slightly violated. He went into our dorms. He could've looked through the personal items of everyone. That was a very unsettling thought.
"You guys okay? You all look like drowned sewer rats. Well (y/n) is the more attractive sewer rat," Kokichi explained with a cheeky grin.
"Cuz you're late!" Tenko exclaimed.
"And who are you calling *Drowned Sewer Rats*?" I asked.
"You said you'd be back by nighttime, but it's already 11 p.m. now," Tsumugi explained.
"Sorry, I ran into some unexpected snafu," Kokichi explained, "but look. Kubs Pads! Gotta catch 'em all! I even got the pads belonging to the people who aren't here!"
"I should punch you for making a Pokémon reference after leaving us to be attacked by bugs," I said angrily.
"Nee-hee-hee, calm down (y/n). You're still cute when you get mad like this," Kokichi explained with a mischievous wink.
A blush of embarrassment made its way onto my features as he said that. I concluded that I shouldn't encourage his behavior.
"Anyway! Nee-heehee... Now everyone can watch their motive video!" Kokichi exclaimed.
"We said we don't want to," Tsumugi replied.
Kokichi excitingly balled his hands into fists and put them in front of him. He looked almost like an innocent child like this.
"Well, it's late and I'm getting sleepy! So let's start already," Kokichi said excitingly.
"...Start what?" Gonta asked.
"Oh, don't worry about it, Gonta. Just keep watch so these guys don't—" Kokichi said before...
"That's it! I won't let you do as you please!" Keebo interjected.
"Hm?" Kokichi asked in response.
    "I didn't want to have to use this unless I absolutely had to. It eats up a lot of my electricity," Keebo explained, "but that's neither here nor there! I will stop you right here, right now!"
    "Keebo...what are you going to do...?" Shuichi asked.
    I wondered that too. What was Keebo going to do to stop Kokichi? Was he going to have some sort of secret weapon? Was he going to somehow expose Kokichi? I honestly didn't know.
    "I'm actually wondering the same thing..." I muttered in response.
    They did say curiosity killed the cat. Hopefully none of us would die from whatever Keebo had in store for us.
   Keebo started to glow blue. His eyes looked like the static on a television screen. It was like he was about to turn into some sort of weapon. He was silent not even speaking a word. What was happening to him?
    Keebo was still glaring at Kokichi as he slowly reached a hand behind his ear. He spun the mechanical parts behind his ear. This brought more confusion to me. What do was he doing? That was the question being screamed in my mind.
"He's lighting up!? Is he gonna self-destruct or—" Tsumugi exclaimed, stopping midway through her sentence as...
    A whirling sound was heard now. It  was obviously coming from Keebo.
    "Huh? What's that sound!?" Tenko asked.
    "One moment please... I'm rewinding the tape right now," Keebo said.
    'Wait what?' I thought, 'what's that supposed to mean?'
    That was the thought in my mind. What did Keebo mean by *rewinding the tape*? Did he record us or something?
    That was the only plausible reasoning I could think of for this situation. He must've recorded us somehow.
    "The tape?" Himiko asked.
    "Riiiight...there!" Keebo suddenly shouted at us.
Keebo's eyes flashed as he pushed his palm against his ear. I was confused on what was going on. But then...
    "Is this your doing Kokichi? Did you have Gonta kidnap us?" Shuichi's voice asked.
    'Is that.... Shuichi's voice?' I thought.
    My mind went blank. I was right once again. It was most likely a recording.
    "What is your gain from this Kokichi?" My voice asked.
    That was my voice. I remembered saying this. This was a recording. Now I knew what Keebo's plan was. He was showing this recording to show Gonta that Kokichi was lying to him.
    "Nee-heehee... He's so simple-minded. As soon as I told him that everyone who hates bugs was trying to get rid of them...he started crying and said that he would get you guys to love bugs...or something like that," Kokichi's voice said in a mocking tone.
    "Could this be...?" Shuichi asked.
    The recording playing from Keebo stopped soon after. I was still slightly shocked. Keebo recorded the conversation to use it against Kokichi.
    "So, what do you think!? You just saw my audio recording function for the first time!" Keebo exclaimed triumphantly.
    "Did he really just whip out an audio recorder like it's some kinda secret weapon!?" Tenko exclaimed.
    "Really? It's a cassette tape? In this day and age?" Tsumugi asked.
    "But it's metal tape, you know!?" Keebo asked.
    "The sound quality isn't the issue!" Tsumugi exclaimed.
    "Come on guys... I think that Keebo did a good thing," I explained.
    "I agree," Rantaro stated, "we need to stop Kokichi."
    Keebo explained to us to put everything aside. Most likely he was talking about Tsumugi's comment. He told us that it seemed to work, which it did. I was curious on how Gonta would react to this.
    "Kokichi...what you mean? You...not like bugs?" Gonta asked with an angry expression.
    "...Maaan, now it's boring," Kokichi said disappointingly.
    "You say we get them to understand how amazing bugs are... Was that lie?" Gonta asked.
    "Haha, I wouldn't lie to you. I loooove bugs. From the bottom of my heart," Kokichi said, lying to Gonta.
    "Oh... So it not lie. Then Gonta happy... Let's have fun with bugs all night..." Gonta stated, "who want to pet more bugs!?"
    "Eh?" Kokichi asked, looking scared.
    "We must run while we still can!" Keebo exclaimed.
    "Wait! We need to take back our Kubs Pads first!" Tenko shouted.
    Tenko then snatched the Kubs Pads from Kokichi. Kokichi obviously wasn't happy about this.
    Kokichi was there. I knew he was a jerk, but I didn't want him to have to face everything alone. I watched as everyone left the lab. I had to do something.

Kokichi's POV

    'How could this be!?' I thought, 'All I wanted to do was make this game more interesting for me...'
    "What the hell are you doing just standing there!? Run!" (y/n) shouted, "do you want to be left behind!?"
    'What?' I thought.
    I felt warmth around me hand. The girl of my dreams grabbed my hand. I blushed at this. I didn't want to be left behind.
    "No..." I replied.
    I ran out of the lab with her. When did she become so brave and courageous? It was like I was with a different person.
    'I think that... yes... I've fallen more in love with you, (y/n)'
