Chapter 9
"Don't speak a word about what you saw last night."
"Wh-ha-at?" I stammer out with bug eyes.
"I saw you last night. Not a word is to be said about what you have seen." He says in a dark and cold voice.
A voice that sent chilling down my spine. All I can do is look at him with my jaws slack and my mouth gaped open; letting bugs nest in my open mouth. How did he see me in the pitch black night? I watch as he turns around and walks away like nothing has happened. Like he didn't sound threatening. How can he say something like that and just walk away? Maybe I should reintroduce him to my left hook.
"HEY!" I yell back.
I watch as he stiffens. He shakes his head and begins walking again.
"Hey Asshole!" I yell again.
He stops which causes me to running into his frozen form.
"Oof."
"What?!" He snaps.
"How can you just say something like that and walk off like you weren't threatening." I state.
"Threatening? I wasn't threatening you but now...." He pauses with a dark look.
"Now I am. You speak one word about what you saw and I will separate your skin from your bones and feed your body to wild boars." He says with an icy cold voice. He walks away and I let him. I have not intention on confronting him again.
School.... Everyone loves school, right? Who am I kidding, I don't. I walk into the school grounds and see Damien's bike parked in it's usual spot. Rolling my eyes, I continue on my way. Making my way through the crowded hallways. As I pull out my books from my locker, they're slapped out of my hands and fall onto ground with several thuds. Looking up I see a few of Allie's friends standing in front of me with corrupted smiles on their faces. Rolling my eyes at their antics, I scoop down to pick them up. As I go to pick up the first book, a foot stomps down pinning my hand under the book and their heel. The stiletto is driving its way into my skin. With all my strength, I pull the said book and watch the stiletto wearing female loose her balance and fall to the ground. Within milliseconds, I'm yanked up by my hair with a lot of force. I swear I can feel my hair being ripped from my scalp. I let out a shriek from the force. My books that were in my hands are back on the floor again.
"I see she's gotten a backbone." Cal taunts in his sickly voice that sends chills down my spine.
"Time to teach her where she belongs... She seems to forgotten her place." Janice snickers out.
Janice raises her hand to send a powerful slap to the side of my face. My head whips to the left as I spit blood on her heels. I slam my head back with as much force as I can muster and collide it with Cal's chin. His grip on my hair looses and I am able to break free. I slam my fist into the side of Janice's face. The impact cause her to hit the floor again. With my guard down, I am hit in the eye with a force to be reckon with. With blurry vison, I can make out the figure as Jason. Janice's brother.
"Back the fuck away from my sister!"
Before I collide with the floor, I land into soft strong arm. I blink several times to see it wasn't Silas who caught me. It was Damien. I hear commotion behind Damien and see Silas beating Jason to a bloody pulp.
"All of you in my office now!" The principal roars.
In the mist of arguing on who's fault the fighting was.... Allie's friends were left off the hook. Silas the principal turned a blind eye, like he didn't see Silas turn into a caveman and nearly kill a student. Luck wasn't on my side... Damien and I both got suspended for a week. The principal is a fucking dick.... At first I was fine with it, however, as I walked out the school doors...
That's going to go on my file....
There goes my chance at a prestige university.
