One of the chaos are the twins with flamethrowers. Lighting enemies on fire. I have to jump back to keep the running ball of flames from licking my skin. Burnt flesh consumes the area. It lingers around the room like it's a favorite incense smell.

Apparently to the twins it is theirs.

A ball of flames runs towards Damien and his boot comes up and connects to their jaw. The ball of flames hit the floor and doesn't move after connecting with Damien's boot. I watch as flames shoot from the hall and screams fill the room. A second later, running flames heads towards me. Before I could side step out of its way. A shot rings out and the charging flame has hit the floor at my feet. I look at Damien to be the culprit however, he doesn't have his gun aimed this way.

"I got your back Sis." Eve says in my ear. Of course the sniper would shoot at flames. We finally emerge from the back room and into the main area of this compound. Burnt flesh fill my nostrils as I enter. Burnt bodies litter the floor and I can see flames darting further down the hall.

Does that thing ever run out of flames?

We run towards the flaming hallway to find the others. I'm in front as Damien covers my ass. I stop and shove Damien against the wall as an enemy's gun is sticking out of the furthest room. A bullet flies down the hall and hits a stand where Damien was previously standing.

"Good eye." He says as he pulls his assault rifle from his back. I mimic his actions and grab my own. As soon as I do, two enemies come out of the room. Their guns are raised. Before they could pull the trigger, Damien and I rain hellfire down the hall. Bullets hit their bodies. As each bullet enters their marked target, their bodies begin to jerk. After twenty shots into each one, we lower ours and begin to follow the burnt smell.

"Prisoners are secured. Main target is apprehended. Everyone move out." Kaiser says in our ears. Damien and I walk back out of the house together with the others behind us. I watch from the back yard as our people exit from the second floor. I watch as they carefully and skillfully drop to the ground below.

I really am with ninjas.

We make it to Doc's van and moments later another van pulls behind us. As soon as it stops, our people emerge from the darkness with several captives. The one Draven has in his hands makes my skin crawl. Damien's eyes harden as he stares back at Tiny. They roughly toss Tiny into the second van.

"We have the women and children in the vans waiting out front. We will bring them to the compound to be investigated. If they're innocent, where do you want them?" Ink asks in our ears.

"If they're innocent, take them to our second chapter. If they want to start a new life away from here. Wiz can set them up with new identities. If they prefer to stay here, they can stay at our second chapter and help the club out over there." Draven orders in a strong and professional voice.

"Sniper!" Felix yells out.

"Everyone down." Everleigh screams from the rooftops. A bullet is sounded in the distance and hits it's marked target...

Damien.

I watch as blood pools at his shoulder and he hits the van with a groan. Another bullet sounds in the distance as we all take cover. By the time Everleigh has come down from the rooftop to check on her parents, the bullet hits it's marked target.

Eve.

The bullet exits her leg and enters the buildings wall behind her. I watch as my new sister hits the dirt below her body. Anger fills my body as I run towards her. I grab her by her arms and drag her behind the van. I rush towards the stairway outside as everyone screaming at me. I yank Felix's rifle from his hands and look for the sniper. Once I have found who's injured my family. I look into the scope and lock dead center on their head. I fire once and quickly fire again. I watch as both shots hit their marks without straying. The sniper tumbles from the building in front and hits the ground below with a hard thud. I hand Felix his sniper rifle and head back down to check on Eve and Damien. As I hit the last stair, voices make me stop in my tracks.

"Did you see that?"

"She didn't even blink."

"She just pulls Eve to safety."

"She just shot that rifle like a champ."

"She just saved us."

"Damien needs to wife her up."
