Good day/ night/ evening/ whenever you may be reading this rant, I am Madilyn. I've enjoyed looking at others' digital art of Hatsune Miku for some time. Their are some wonderful pieces out there. Before I go on, I want to make clear that this rant has nothing to do with "bad" art. I promise. What I've been wondering ever since I first saw Miku is...

Is her hair blue? Green? Teal? Aquamarine? Better yet, WHAT HAIR DYE DOES SHE USE?! The main reason why this question came about is because I have seen Miku with green, blue, aqua, (I think you know where I'm going with this) and want to know what her true colors are.

I'm so sorry, that was a horrible pun.

At times I think I might be the one that's going colorblind or something. Of course, Project Diva doesn't help, because her hair is every color under the sun in her performances. {PD is a great game, I'm not hating on it.} That's when it gets WORSE: pink, purple, yellow, black, red, ETC.! Man, Miku must have more wigs then Katy Perry. I mean, come on! Just stick with a color and show me what her hair really looks like. I promise not to ask you twice, Crypton. There are literally so many shades of blue and green, that I can't pinpoint what hue Miku's trying to go for. It's a lot easier with other Vocaloids-

Kagamine Twins: blonde
Kaito: dark blue
Yukari: lavender
Meiko: brown
Gumi: green.

Then, I get to THE MOST POPULAR VOCALOID THERE IS, and I just can't figure it out. Maybe, I should start this conspiracy theory where fans of Miku are hypnotized by her non-specific hair color?

....No, probably not.

Well, I guess that her unique hair could actually be one of the reasons why she is so iconic compared to other Vocaloids. Her straight, extremely long pigtails, framing side bangs, and matching hair ties do tend to stand out. But, that's as descriptive as it gets, unless you want to write it off as whatever color you think it is. Maybe, it's just Miku's color, and hers only.

All who agree with making a new color called "Miku", say I:

Me: "I!"

No one else? Okay... I'll be here pondering over what shade Hatsune's hairstyle is, if you are wondering.

Anyways, I hope you understand my unending confusion! So, what color do you think it is?
