Hello readers, this is Madilyn. In this article, I'd like to bring out the beauty of Vocaloid and its progress, if you haven't already given recognition to it. Explaining why you listen to singing synthesizers can be difficult when others think their voices are incomprehensible and see Vocaloid as something rather strange. I've faced this problem multiple times myself.

At times, I've found that I can't understand the lyrics to a song without reading along. Other moments, I can hear a Vocaloid's voice pronouncing words clearly. I have noticed that a matter of time changes the quality of clarity. Within thirteen years, Crypton has provided their song-producing products with so much updates, voice banks, and additional features, it makes my head spin trying to count them all. Not only that, but multiple Vocaloids have been produced for your entertainment. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of characters some fanatics actually know. To think there are seemingly always new characters right around the corner! I often find myself learning of more Vocaloids to this day.
The beauty of freedom is evident thanks to the publicity of the product. Anyone willing to purchase one can make synthsizers -such as Meiko, Kaito, Vy1, and many, many more- sing any song they want! And, as every new update is released, the easier it is to use one.

In my opinion, every vocal android has a voice that is meant carry out messages beautifully throughout society, making one's OWN voice heard. They're kind of like supportive electric friends in my book. (You see, I have a confusing book on my shelf.)

The fact that a person can make a robot sound as if it has a persona, as if a Vocaloid is its own person, impresses me.
Whether it's Miku, the Kagamine twins, Gumi, or others that made you enjoy in this unique style of music, you have a reason why it interests you. Now that I've told you my explanation (more like the basics) of why I like Vocaloid, I wonder: What's yours? If you need me, I'll be looking for answers to this question in the comments section!
