*A SCHOLAR - CALLER. ITS WHAT'S INSIDE - NOT ON TOP*
Once a famous Aalim of India was travelling by train. His seat was beside a Hindu man. Due to the extreme hatred for Muslims, the Hindu man moved away from the scholar. The scholar smiled at him and didn't get offended.
After a while, the man took out a blanket and covered his body so that even the breath of the scholar doesn't come close to his body. The scholar just smiled.
Later, the man had to go to the toilet. Upon seeing the dirty condition of the toilet, he ran back saying "Raam Raam." The scholar enquired on what happened and the man said that the condition of the toilet was very disgusting. At that, the scholar got up and with some water, went inside the toilet and cleaned the toilet completely.
He then came back to the man and told him to go in because it was now clean.
The man didn't know what to do or say. But due to the urgency, he went in and relieved himself. He now started thinking and wondered who would ever do such a noble act. He realised that, what the scholar did was not the action of an ordinary person. So, he approached the scholar and asked:
"Who taught you how to behave like this?"
The scholar replied:
"Prophet Muhammad ﷺ."
Then the man wanted to know more about Islam and the Prophet ﷺ.
When they reached their destination, the man addressed the scholar and said *"I will never forget what you've taught me today and would like to accept Islam.”*

*LESSONS*
1. Deen has spread through the exemplary character of Muslims and not the sword.
A life of a believer is a reflection of the Quraan.
A disbeliever doesn’t get a chance to see our worship but rather our character. Good character is a completion of Imaan and will be most weighty on the scales. People of this calibre will be the most beloved and closest to Nabi ﷺ on the day Qiyamah. Part of this is to respect and honor every Muslim no matter how big a sinner he may be. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Love the Ulema and never utter a word of disrespect.
There was never a good knife made of bad steel.
2. Doing good to those who do good to you is not an achievement as doing good to those who harm you. We are living in the times where people harm those who do good to them. Children harm their parents, Husbands harm their wives, students harm their teachers……
Tears come from the heart, not the brain.
3. Wherever we go, we should leave a trail of goodness. Every second of our life is a legacy in the grave. Why waste it in harming others, fighting ……when we can channel our energy to create rather than to destroy.
Don’t be an under-taker, be an over-taker.
*Be like salt in food, its presence is never felt yet its absence makes food tasteless.
