Welcome Oh Ramadan
🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀

As Ramadaan approaches, the sense of excitement grows bigger & bigger. The upcoming month is overflowing with incredible blessings & rewards, literally unlike any other.
The Sahabah ( radiallaahu anhumma) would prepare themselves by purifying their hearts & deeds so to meet this month with a greater sense of servitude & worship of اللّه Subhana wa Ta'ala
When Ibn Mas’ood (radiallaahu anhu)was asked, “How did u all welcome Ramadan?”
He replied “None of us used to dare to greet the hilal of Ramadaan [crescent moon signalling the beginning of the month of Ramadaan] with an atom of grudge in his heart for his Muslim brother.”
"If we hold grudges, our spirits get stuck like trapped birds. We can’t fly the way we’re supposed to, because our own resentments bind us & hold us down.
When u resent /hate someone, they don’t feel it. Only u do. It affects only ur own heart, until ur heart hardens & ur vision narrows, & life loses its joy & zest.
We must forgive each other & forgive ourselves. Let go of resentments from the past. Do it for ur own sake, because letting go & forgiving is the only way to be happy."
“Pardon them & overlook – Allah loves those who do good.”
(Qur’an 5:13)
Showing kindness to those who offend u brings them nearer to u.
Being lenient to them makes them abandon their evil intentions.
Aиϑ forgiving them is bound to win them over.
"The one who forgives others aиϑ shows mercy, Allah forgives him aиϑ gives him favors,
aиϑ the one who does not do this, اللَّهُ Subhana wa Ta'ala makes it difficult aиϑ troublesome for him on the Day of Judgement
Do not sever ties with a brother for a mistake,
For only the kind-hearted would forgive sins."
Allah, The Almighty Tells us
"The good deed & the evil deed cannot be equal.
Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allah orders the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, & to excuse those who treat them badly)
then verily he, between whom & you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend."
(Surah Fussilat: 34)

Let me tell u an incredible story about what happens when u forgive people. Please read this because it is a pure miracle & extremely beautiful.
There was a poor taxi driver in Damascus that mistakenly ran over a student studying medicine which unfortunately led to his death.
Shaykh Muhammad 'Aywad ( who was known for his righteousness) & other scholars went to the boy's father who was a judge, & they asked him to forgive the poor taxi driver for killing his son, & they offered him blood money as a recompense. The father beautifully replied, 'By Allāh, I have forgiven him & I do not want a penny from him. Tomorrow, I shall go to the prison & take him out my self.' Then he said, 'Shaykh 'Aywad, u came to my house & I shall NOT allow u to leave disappointed!' The taxi driver was hence forgiven.
Years later, this father became paralysed & ill so his family took him for a final visit to the Haram of Makkah. They held him up in a wooden stretcher & made Tawaaf. Whilst he was being carried, he tearfully said, "O Allāh, Shaykh 'Aywad came to me asking for forgiveness for a man who killed my son & I said, 'I will not let u leave my house disappointed.' Today, I come to Your House with paralysis & ask that that You do not let me leave disappointed!' He didn't finish his du'a except he was granted shifa in his body. He didn't complete Tawaaf except walking with complete cure! Everyone who saw him on that day broke down in tears.
Forgive those who have wronged you & Wallahi, Allāh will show u miracles!'
(As related by Shaykh Mohammad Aslam)
“May Allah forgive all men. May اللَّهُ Subhana wa Ta'ala forgive those who have wronged us.
May اللَّهُ Subhana wa Ta'ala guide us, aиϑ forgive those who have misbehaved.
May اللَّهُ Subhana wa Ta'ala be merciful to those who have spoken ill of us.
May اللَّهُ Subhana wa Ta'ala forgive us, aиϑ every other Muslim.”
Ameen
