"Hey Ishita!" Raman waved at Ishita as soon as he entered the class next day.

"Hey Raman!!" Ishita waves nervously.

Ishita had ignored his texts and calls the day before cause she was too ashamed to even face him. She couldn't help but think how the tables had turned and how it was Ishita instead of Raman in the bathroom.

She just hoped Raman didn't find it suspicious or got to know the truth because if he did he would probably laugh at her or may be even revenge his prank.

"Why so nervous huh?" Raman asked raising his one eyebrow.

"N-Nervous? I-I? N-No no! I ain't nervous." Ishita smiled nervously.

"Fine. Whatever you say!" Raman shrugged off and then frowned.

"Why the hell weren't you in class throughout the day yesterday and why weren't you answering my calls and texts?" Raman asked a bit angrily.

"I-I wasn't well you know. I was in the infirmary the whole day!" Ishita lied.

"Oh!" Raman's eyes widened a little. "Why is that? What happened to you?" He frowned worriedly and his lips parted.

"Nothing. A stomach bug." Ishita lied fluently as if she had mastered in it.

Raman nodded in understanding and then walked over to his group of friends.

Ishita had only told Mihika about it since she couldn't contain it in her stomach. Mihika too ended up laughing at Ishita but still she was worried about her health too.

Ishita watched silently as Raman's group laughed while Raman's expression changed. His lips turned into a thin line as he frowned. He blinked and then looked up at Mihir and his lips moved as he talked to him about something Ishita couldn't listen.

She blinked back and looked at Mihika who sat beside her and started talking to her while Raman's head swiped towards Ishita's direction and his jaw clenched.

The bell rang and the whole class is back to their places. Ishita looks at Raman who has his jaw clenched and was looking straight not once glancing towards her.

"Hey..." Ishita trailed off but he didn't even look at her.

Ishita pokes her finger on his shoulder but he ignores her.

"What happened?"

He still ignored her. Ishita too didn't speak to him after that.

For the next three periods Ishita tried having small talks with him. Asking him pencil, copy, water and what not but he didn't even say a word instead quietly gave her what she wanted. When she asked for an answer of a question in their history book but he just snatched the pencil from her hands and marked the answer.

When the bell for Games period rang. The class quickly howled and ran out of the class while Ishita grabbed Raman's hand and made him sit down on a chair. Raman just rolled his eyes and huffed.

"I'm not letting you go until you tell me what happened?"

Raman stayed silent.

"Hey I'm talking to you!" Ishita poked his chest.

After a moment of silence Raman finally spoke.

"Did you seriously plan that prank on me?"

Ishita froze.

"W-what are you t-talking about?"

"Cut the crap and tell me. The prank in which got backfired and you ended up instead of me in the washroom huh?" Raman asked.

"I-I am sorry." Ishita whispered.

"Seriously Ishita? I thought we were friends now. I know I played pranks on you but I didn't want to ever hurt you physically. You tried to hurt me physically!" He shouted.

"I'm saying na I'm sorry. Please." Ishita pleaded.

Raman breathed.

"Who told you?"

"Mihir."

"Who told him?"

"Mihika."

Ishita swore in her mind not to ever tell Mihika something ever again.

"I forgave you too right? Please forgive me." Ishita pleaded while Raman just shook his head and placed his hands on his hips.

"I'll think about it." He whispered and then he was gone leaving Ishita and Ishita quickly wiped the tears that threatened to fall.

She walked towards the changing room and quickly changed into her games shorts.

They were playing basketball and Ishita and Raman were in the opposite team.

Most of the players were out due to foul.

Both teams had same points.

While playing one of the boys pushed Ishita and Ishita fell down badly while the boy thought he would now win but their teacher saw all this and immediately blew the whistle.

"You're Out. Don't play next time if you want to push any student." He said angrily.

Ishita sat on the ground clutching her knee and tears were spilling from her eyes.

Raman was by her side after giving a push and a glare to him.

"Take her to the infirmary." Their teacher says and Raman nods.

He picks her up bridal style while Ishita clutches onto him tightly and nuzzles into his neck and whimpers softly.

"Ssh. It's fine. Nothing happened. You'll be fine." He says gently.

She holds onto him tightly and he makes his way to the infirmary.

The nurse looks up at Ishita as Raman places her down on the bed so she could sit.

"Oh sweety!" The nurse says and immediately comes to her with the first aid kit and cleaned her bruise and bandages it.

"It will be fine. You'll have a bit difficulty in standing but you'll probably be okay. If you feel pain then take these painkillers." The nurse instructs and Ishita nods.

Raman picks her up again and carries her back to the ground.

On their way, Ishita looks up at Raman.

"Did you forgive me?" She asks innocently.

"Yeah. Maybe." He smiles at her and then they reach the ground.

Their teacher looked at her concerned eyes and Ishita nods in assurance.

Mihika helps her back to the changing room where they changed back to skirts while Raman waits outside the changing room and picks her up again even though she protests but he doesn't listen.

They return back to the class and the rest of the day passed in blur until the last period where their teacher reminds them of their practices.

After the bell, they follow her to the Audi.

The teacher hands them their scripts.

Another boy who plays the role of Balthazar stands beside Raman and they first practice the scene with him and then with another character called Page.

Then it was Raman and Ishita's turn.

Raman and Ishita stand facing each other. Well Raman stands and Ishita sits on a chair but they still face each other.

Raman looks at the scripts and then reads it blankly before coughing and beginning.

(ROMEO OPENS THE TOMB TO REVEAL JULIET INSIDE.)

"A grave? Oh, no. A lantern, slaughtered youth,

For here lies Juliet, and her beauty makes

This vault a feasting presence full of light.

Death, lie thou there, by a dead man interred."

He continues the long speech till he reaches the almost end.

"...… Eyes, look your last.

Arms, take your last embrace. And, lips, O you

The doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss

A dateless bargain to engrossing death."

He stops and gulps seeing what was written next.

(kisses JULIET, takes out the poison)

"Ma'am?" Raman looks up.

"Yeah, I know what's written next. Just do it." The teacher said as she continued to instruct the staff about the lightning and then turned towards them and motioned Raman to continue.

She places a chair next to Ishita.

"Here. Ishita lie down now. Raman go on. Close your eyes Ishita!"

Raman gulps once again and Ishita lies down and looks at him. Both of them remember that they swore not to kiss.

"Raman. You are wasting time!" Their teacher scolds him and Raman nods at her.

He moves forward and with a blush presses his lips against hers.

"See! That wasn't so hard. Was it?" Their teacher raises an eyebrow. Both of them blush and nod.

Raman continues his rest of the speech till Romeo dies.

Now it was Ishita's turn but the bell rings.

"Ishita we will continue this practice tomorrow. Now you all may go!" Their teacher leaves followed by others.

Raman helps Ishita to sit on the chair and then both of them look at each other.

"We swore not to kiss!" They exclaim together and then start laughing.

In between laughs, Raman bends and pecks her lips.

They smile at each other and Raman picks her up again in his arms and both walk out of the Audi together.

I know it's a very late new year update. I was going to update yesterday but I don't know what happened and the whole update disappeared! I had to rewrite it😭😭

I can't believe we reached 30th chapter of this story and I still am not bored. I enjoy writing this story. Maybe because I'm still in school and you know...😂😉
