Two weeks later (Veer's perspective)

"Never show me your face again... Cause I loathe your presence. "

These were the lines that were going on in Veer's mind since the last two downcasted weeks. Her last lines to him and the hate that her orbs held for him was killing him from within.

You know what weapon injures a person the most? Few may say a knife, few may say a bullet, the list keeps going on but actually the most fatal weapon in this world are "words".

A small misunderstanding usually leads to the demise of even strong relations.

And today Veer and Bani were stuck in the web of both of these. Painful words and misunderstanding.

Here was Veer sitting in his room with a glass of wine in his hand. He was hoping for all the pain in his chest to subdue with the intoxication of the wine .

Shayad woh samjh nahi pa raha tha ki rooh ka nasha ho jaye toh insaano par aur koyi nasha nahi chadta.

(Perhaps he was not able to understand that if the soul get intoxicated then no other intoxication can affect a person.)

Last two weeks were torturous for him. Veer, who was considered a living terror himself was in a torturous state.

He was questioning his destiny for never being in his favour.

After years his lifeless heart had beaten, she had given a life to his heart. But just in few moments everything got ruined. The one who gave life to his heart was the very same person who broke it into million pieces.

He knew he deserved the mistrust , after all he did thought of playing with her emotions but it still hurt. Tapish's words played in his mind.

Sometimes the player himself gets played in his games.

And that exactly had happened.
That's why he hated emotions. That feeling in his chest gave him happiness for few moments but ultimately what he got was the treasures of sadness and loneliness.

The sun was beaming brightly in front of him but the memories of her grief and complains filled him with darkness.
He suddenly got a call bringing him out of his thoughts.

Veer - Hello..!

"Sir, Our patient Meera is out of danger now, she will get conscious very soon."

Veer - Good!

He said and cut the call.

Veer had himself arranged for the best doctors for Meera. He knew what she meant for his sweetheart. She was her whole world. He couldn't see even a single drop of tear in her eyes then how could he see her world shattering.

Guy- Jab itni parwah hein toh milne kyun nahi aaye?

(When you care so much then why didn't you come to meet?)

Veer heard a voice and turned. It was Tapish.

Veer - Tapish...

Tapish - Answer Veer..

Veer - I don't want to prove anything.. I am just doing this for..

Tapish - Bani..

Veer turns in another direction.

Veer - Why are you acting like you trust me now or something..?

Tapish - Cause I do trust you Veer.. I always have.. Even when you didn't trust yourself.. I had faith in you but that day..

Veer - You hit me..

Tapish - I misjudged you Veer.. I was wrong but Meera was in such a state that nothing else mattered in that moment..

Veer knew that feeling. The same feeling which he had when Chandani had abducted Bani. The feeling of burning down the whole world.

Veer - Tapish.. Can you feel something in air..?

Tapish - What..? (He frowns)

Veer - Love and care.. (He laughs)

Tapish - What rubbish..!

Veer - Deny all you want.. But I know the truth.. (He smirks teasingly)

Tapish - Don't change the subject.. This is what you always do.. Hiding your pain from others.. Showing off your cocky self to protect your vulnerable side..

Veer - What do you want to hear Tapish..? (He said putting his hand on his forehead)

Tapish - To fight for her if she matters..

Veer - She matters.. And that's exactly why I am not going to fight for her...

Tapish - What do you mean?

Veer - No matter how hard I try Tapish.. Things always fall apart..Maybe it wasn't my fault but all this happened because of my brother.. Because I brought her in my world... And I can't keep hurting her or her loved ones.. So it's better we part ways..

Dard dene wala dur hojayega toh dard apne aap hi khatam hojayega..

(If the person giving pain goes away, then the pain will end automatically.)

Tapish - Jazzbat chupa paoge.. ?

(Will you be able to hide your feelings..?)

Veer - Chakor ko dekha hein Tapish..?Bewakoofo ki tarah raat bhar bas uss chand ko taqta rehta hein.. Aaj samjh aaya uski uss bewacoofi main kitna sukoon hota hoga...

(Have you seen Chakor bird Tapish ..? Like idiot, it just keeps staring at that moon all night.. Today I understood how peaceful it must have been feeling in that it's stupidity...)

Tapish sighs sadly.

Tapish - I don't know if I should be happy or sad? Happy for you becoming better or sad for you sacrificing your happiness..!

Veer - How is she..? (He asks with a lot of hope in his eyes )

Tapish - Just like you.. Acting to be strong even when she is very vulnerable..
Veer gives a sad laugh.

Veer - You should go Tapish.. Meera will gain consciousness soon.

Tapish nods and leaves.

Veer again gets engulfed in his thoughts.
Their cute fights. Her Concern for him. Her smile.Their dance.

Everything was running all over his head. And that moment he knew what he was supposed to do. He had to see her. One last time.

He reached the hospital and saw Bani talking to the doctor. Seeing her after two dreadful week was enough to fill his chest with the feeling of solitude.

She got inside and sat beside Meera. He could feel her pain.

Feel. If somebody would have spoke about feelings and emotions with him few days back, he would have laughed but today he was feeling all her emotions.

That's why he hated emotions because now he had to live with this hateful love.
Slowly Bani fell asleep and Veer got in.

He sat beside her and admired her for a moment. He saw her smiling in her dream. That smile.. How much he had missed it.

Bani - Prince... Charming.. (She said cutely)

Veer chuckled.

Veer - I wish I could be that but I am beast.. (He said with a sorrowful smile as a lone tear escaped from his eyes)

Thats when she opened her eyes.

Bani - Veer..

Veer - Sweetheart.. (He gets shocked)

Bani - What are you doing in my dream?

Veer - Troubling you as usual I guess.. (He laughs a little)

Bani - Yes you are very bad.. (She said pouting like a child)

Tumhare barein main kuch sochna nahi chahti magar iss dil main khayal sirf aur sirf tumhare hein.. Tumse nafrat karna chahti hu par ye dil manta nahi.. Dimag tumhari hazar galatiyan dikhata hein aur dil sirf tumhari khoobiyon ko jatata hein... Kyun Veer?

(I don't want to think about you but only your thought lingers within my heart all over. I want to hate you but this heart doesn't listen to me.. My mind points out all your mistakes while my heart just sees the good in you. Why is it so Veer?)

(She said as a tear slipped from her eyes)

Veer keeps looking at her with tears filled in his own eyes.

Veer - Sleep sweetheart.. Everything will be over now..!

He said softly as Bani closed her eyes falling asleep.

Veer - Janti ho Bani.. Mujhe bhagwan se kayi shikayaten hein.. Sharir usne zarur meeti ki banayi par Khambhakt dil kanch ka de diya.. Aur kanch ki cheezein tut jati hein.. Chot na pohchana bhi chahe toh bhi ghayal kar hi deti hein.. Mera sath bhi uss kanch ki tarah hein...

(You know Bani, I have many complaints from God. When he made this body of sand then why did he make this heart of glass. Glasses break.. Even if it doesnt want to hurt someone, it still ends up hurting then. My companionship is just like that piece of glass.. )

Ye ishqiyan sirf tumhe ghayal karengi aur tumhe ghayal koi kare iski ijazat main khud ko bhi nahi deta.. Sweetheart.

(This love will only hurt you and I don't even allow myself to hurt you anymore

He slowly got up and put a blanket on her.He kissed her forehead gently as he left from them trying to capture her last glances in his heart.

Next Morning

Veer came to the academy.Since last two weeks even he had not gone to the academy. He knew there was a rumor going on that Veer was busy feasting on the new girl that was Bani.. But he didn't care. He knew she would very well handle such people. She was very strong. She was his sweetheart.

Yours? His heart asked as Veer felt a pain in his chest.

Ponky - Hey Veer ! Our Prince!

Veer - Ponky!

Daksh - Where were you? Two weeks is a really longtime.. Don't you think?

Monil - Was she that delicious?

He said and Veer immediately gave a death glare to him.

Monil -So.. Sorry Veer..

Veer - You know I never share what's mine.. Don't you ? (He said holding Monil's neck)

Daksh- Spare him Veer.. You know he is stupid..

Daksh said coming in between.

Veer - That's why he is alive now..! (He leaves his hold)

Veer - Stay away from her.. All of you!

Ponky - Sure.. Prince... (He says being scared)

Chandani - That's the Veer I like.. Hot and angry..!

(She said getting inside with a smirk on her face)

All the guys walked out as she entered.

Veer - What the hell are you doing here?

Chandani - Ohh come one Prince, isn't this my place... Beside you? (She said touching his arm)

Veer - Don't fucking touch me.. (He said moving back )

Chandani - Why? Why do you loathe me and my touch? You don't mind that bitch touching you.

The words left her mouth and suddenly her face turned with the impact of a slap that landed on her face.

Chandani - Yo.. You.. Hi.. Hit me!!!

Veer - Be glad that I didn't kill you Chandani.. I have told you thousand times.. To stay away from her... But that doesn't fit in your pea sized brain..

Chandani's eyes gets filled with tears and anger.

Chandani - I love You Veer.. Can't you see?

Veer scoffs.

Veer - Do you even know what that is?

Chandani - And you know? The ruthless Prince of Raktanchal now knows what love is? (She retaliates)

Veer - Get out Chandani.. Before I Do something which might not be good for you...

Chandani walks out of the room as Veer settles back.

Veer - Goddam Drama..! (He sighs)

That's when Chandani came out and see saw few of the girls bullying Bani.

Chandani - Veer hit me today because of you Bani Sharma.. Now just wait and watch how I will make your life a living hell...!

Veer mera tha, mera hein aur mera hi rahega.

(Veer was mine, is mine and will remain mine.)

She went ahead.

Chandani - Kya Raaz hein? Humein bhi batao Bani Sharma..

(She said with an evil grin)

(What's the secret? Do tell us as well Bani Sharma)

Bani - YOU!

Chandani - Yes, the one and only.

Bani - Right the one and only born after sacrificing hundred devils.. (She said with a fake smile)

Chandani - Will take that as a compliment..(she retorted)

Bani - Ohh and also thousands of dimwits.. Forgot to mention that..
She said and the other girls almost laughed. Chandani was fuming in anger.

Chandani - It's Veer's order to not kill you or else you would be dead by now...

Bani - Done with your talks? Now let me go..!

She heard moving ahead.

Chandani - By the way Veer didn't restrict me to not kill anybody's sister.. (She smirked)

She said and Bani turned.

Bani - Don't you dare take her name from your dirty mouth..

Chandani - Or else..? (She said moving closer to her anger)

Guy - Or else you will not be a part of this academy anymore..!

Bani and Chandani turned around in the direction of the person.

Chandani - Don't poke your nose in my business..!

Guy - You really want to challenge me..?
(He said arching his eyebrow)

Chandani - What do you want Jay Mathur.. ? (She said in anger)

Jay - Her.. (He said pointing towards Bani)

Bani looked at him being shocked while a particular someone was watching the entire scene while gripping his fist in anger. And that person was Veer.

As he walked in the corridor, he looked at his sweetheart. His feet stopped automatically as nothing else leaving her was visible to him at the moment. But that's when he saw the girls surrounding her.

Veer - Fucking Chandani.. (He said in anger and started moving in Bani's direction when he saw Jay there and he stopped)

Bani - Excuse me.. What? (She said looking at Jay)

Jay - I mean I want to save her.. I want to save you Bani...!

Bani - Who are you..?

Jay - I am Jay Mathur, a member of Academy's ethics council... I make sure there's peace among Humans and Vampires in this academy..

Bani - Quite a tough task...!

Chandani - Well.. Well.. If you both are done with your flirting... Can you just fuck off Mathur..

Jay - Ek gal abhi lal lag raha hein, kaho toh dusra bhi rang du..

(One cheek is looking red already, tell me should I paint the other one too..)

He said and Chandani fumed in anger.

Chandani - Youuuu! (She was about to slap Jay when Jay held her hands and twisted it)

Jay - Stay in your limits Chandani... You never know .. One wrong move and the end..!

He smirks.

Chandani and the other girls leave from the scene leaving Jay and Bani behind.

Bani - Thanks but I could have handled her..

Jay- I know.. I was kinda just saving her from you actually..

(He said seriously and both Jay and Bani ended up laughing)

Bani -  Thanks again though..

Jay - Mention not..

Bani - Well, I just wanted to know.. How do you know my name?

Jay - Everybody knows about you due to....

Bani - Veer..

She said as again his face formed in front of her eyes.

Jay - Yeah.. He is danger..!

Bani- Anyways I should leave now.. My sister is waiting for me..

Jay - You have a sister?

Bani - Yeah.. (She gives a soft smile)

Jay - Do you want me to drop you somewhere?

Bani - No.. It's fine.. I will manage!

Jay - Please I insist..!

Bani - Okay...

Veer - She is not going anywhere with you !!!

He growled.

As Bani turned to look that very same black orbs which had turned out to be her serenity and doom.

Sorry for late update. My last two weeks of college is left, farewell is approaching, finals on the edge .. Too many things happening plus I wasn't well🤦‍♀️.

I am getting headache by watching the screen for long time.Legit got my eyes checked today but my sight is absolutely fine. Really don't know what the issue is :'(

Anyways enough of me ranting. Just know that I will not leave you guys hanging and definitely update as soon as I get time.
