Veer stormed off in anger.

He hated humans. Especially those claiming to be pure and pious when they were hollow from within. Humans were cheaters for him.

Vampires were cruel and manipulative too but atleast they weren't double faced was what he felt.

But today a girl..a human girl to be exact had lured him.The effect which she had on him was both soul stirring and heart warming at the same time.He was frustrated feeling this kind of attraction towards a lowly being.

How could he spare a human. He could have killed her.. He could have fucking killed her.. But he just couldn't bring himself to do so. Since when did those humanly tears started having affect on him.

Her eyes was something which fueled his anger even more. Her eyes which reminded him of the only human who he ever trusted. The only human who was his world.

He closed his eyes as the memories hit him again.

A little boy is seen smiling and giggling around splashing water on a lady beside him.

Lady - Veer what are you doing baby? (She laughed)

Veer - Esh.. I am the strongest!! (He says trying to show muscles from his tender hands )

Lady laughs.

Lady - You are Veer... No doubt..You the best..

Veer - Esh you know why I am the strongest.. (He said cutely).

Lady - Why my dear.. ?

Veer - Because you are my real strength.. (He said and hugged her)

Veer - You will not leave me like Mom and Dad.. right..?

Lady - Never Prince.. (She says hugging back)

Few days later

Veer - Aakesh Bhai...Where is Esh..? I can't find her.. (He said with a frown evident on his face)

Aakesh - She left you Veer.. She fled away with alot of money and jewels.. (He said with a serious expression)

Veer - Esh can't leave me.. She promised she would stay with me.. (He said with teary eyes)

Aakesh - That's how humans are Veer.. Pathetic, greedy, coward and pretentious..

Veer - You are lying Bhai.. (He says as tears come out of his orbs)

Aakesh - Listen to me Veer.. You are the Prince of Raktaanchal and Prince's never cry .. They are supposed to be strong headed... Not weak..

Veer - But Esh..

Aakesh- Don't you dare take her name again.. (He shouts as little Veer shudder )

Aakesh - From today your training for becoming the most powerful Prince begins..

Since that day Veer's life was filled with the duty of becoming a good Prince. Battles, raids, blood and throne were the only possessions that he was now supposed to hold.

He went back to a room which was his abode in the academy. The place had glass walls , a Couch and a bar counter especially designed with his taste . No one had the strength and courage to question or challenge Veer, as Veer was a pure blood and the most powerful Vampire of them all. And talking about Humans well they anyways never even raised their eyes at him. For Veer humans were hence a toy who he loved playing with.

Veer poured the wine in the glass, making a strong drink. He went and rested his shoulder on the glass wall while taking a sip of the drink.

Somehow he didn't like the taste of it at all because the only taste running in his mind was of her blood.

His imagination running deep and wild. How would she taste? He thought.

This drink was anyway incapable of making him drunk but somehow Bani's presence had intoxicated him today.

She had set his perfectly planned world on fire and he somehow wanted to do the same to her. He wanted her to crave for his attention, beg for forgiveness just like the others do but he couldn't even see tears in her eyes.

Everything about her was euphoric. He was lost in his thoughts when he sees Bani with a group of human girls.

Bani - What do you guys want?

Girl - What did you do to our prince that he declared you as our enemy!? (She says grabbing Bani's shoulder)

Bani - Leave my hand.. (She says gritting her teeth in anger)

Girl - What will you do, if I don't? (She saying hardening her grip)

Bani immediately gets her hand out of her grip and in a second the tables had turned. Bani twists the girl's hand, not hard enough to break it though, and holds her neck.

Girl -Ahhh... Leave me!!

Bani - You fucking stay in your limits.. Don't take me for a damsel in distress..I Know how to fight my battles and deal with superficial people like you... (She leaves the girl from her grip)

Girl - You made a grave mistake.. (She says holding her hand and tears gelled in her eyes)

Bani moves past her. Veer on the other hand had seen the entire encounter and he somehow had an interesting smile over his face. She had caught his attention.

Girl 2- Why are you hurrying.. The game has just begin..

Bani - I don't have time for your bullshit..

Before Bani would leave somebody kicks her from the back. She turns around and look at the girl. It was the same girl who had showed her the wrong way.

Bani - YOU!?

Girl - Well, I guess you didn't learn your lesson from our last encounter.

Bani - You deliberately sent me there..! That place where that monster was feeding off girls. Innocent people around you were being used by him like toys.. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Instead of protesting, you are bowing and adding on to his ego.

Bani says and Veer's grip on his glass tightens. He grits his teeth in anger, but wasn't she right? He thought. He was a monster for humans and he didn't mind owning that title. Somehow he didn't want her to call him a monster.

He just could'nt admit what this feeling was, we're they bonded by some spell or was there some reason. He definitely wasn't a love at first sight cliche person. In fact he hated love itself.

Girl - Done with your lecture girl..? Now let's have some action.

She smirks as two girls come and holds Bani's hand.

Bani - What is wrong with you all? Are you guys mentally retarded or something..?

Girl - Ohh you don't know.. What all we can do.. (She says moving closer to her clenching Bani's hair)

Bani - Leave my hair..

Girl - Ohh I guess you love your hair alot..! (She says touching Bani's hair as Bani frowns being disgusted)

Girl - How about we cut them then.. (She says holding a glass piece in her hand )

Bani - Don't you dare..

The girl slowly moves in Bani's direction. Veer was anxious. He felt restless but didn't he want this... He was fighting with himself.. He was about to go down and save her when he heard what she said stopping him in between.

Bani - I will never bow in front your disgusting Prince or you guys at all...

She says and ducks. The girl do try cutting Bani's hair but Bani just ends up getting a cut on her left cheek. The girls attack her but she fights with them ferociously.

She had fought many battles. Not the battles on battleground rather the battles of life. And sometimes the battle of life turn out to be more cruel .

The girls were now on ground with a disheveled and defeated look.

Bani moves past them. How she had thought of a peaceful first day but here the very first day she made enemies.

Bani - Veer Singhania.. I hate you..

He had set fire on her plan of a peaceful journey here and she was determined that she would fight back with the same fire that her eyes held at that moment.

Veer heard all this and her words had an effect on him.He leaves from there gritting his teeth. Her words seemed venomous to him but he was also the Vampire Prince and he had promised himself to make her surrender to him.

Veer - You hate me.. Then maybe I will give you more reason to do so sweetheart.. (He smirks)

Bani was going to her class when she was interrupted again by few guys.

Guy - Ohh look.. New prey..

Guy 2 - Looks fine too..

Guy 3- Delicious.. (He says licking his lips)

All three of them come and move in a circle around Bani.

Bani - Now who the hell are you people?... Are you guys going to fight with me in batches or something...??

Guy - Ohh Baby.. You don't know who we are..

Bani - Ohh well everybody in this esteemed institution (she airquotes).. Says the same..

Guy 2- Don't compare us with those pathetic humans...

Bani - Aren't you human too.. Like seriously you guys have problem with your own identity..

Guy 3 - Not all of us are weak humans baby (he says taking out his fangs while Bani looks at him being all shocked)

Bani - You guys are..

Guy 3 - Vampires..!
