Here was Bani dressed in a shimmery golden saree with a black blouse studded with jewels. Her hair was curled and her look was complimented with her golden bangles. Her open locks making her look even more beautiful.

She was looking into the mirror, trying to awaken her courageous self. She needed it today.

She will not let him see her vulnerable side. Hriday had asked her to be her partener for the event and this time she didn't deny.

Bani - In the last party, I was fighting for you Veer but this time my fight is with you.

Aesi Jung hein ismein har gayi toh bhi har jaungi aur jeet gayi toh bhi haar jaungi.

Thats when she heard the bell and went to open it.

It was Hriday dresses in a white suit and a smile on his face. He looked at her and his world paused for a moment. She looked beautiful. Very beautiful.

Hriday - You look Beautiful Bani!

He smiled.

Bani - You don't look bad yourself Hriday!

She tried to smile a little.

Hriday - Thanks! So ready to go...?

He said extending his arm and Bani held it.

Bani - Yes..

Hriday - Bani if you want we can skip this party.

He said being concerned.

Bani - Sach se dur bhagna sahi nahi Hriday.

Hriday - You are really strong. Your Mom would be proud of you.

He smiled.

In the mansion.

Bani entered in the mansion. The entire mansion was lit with lights and flowers. Different type of people all around.

The elites and elders were at the upper floor while the students in the living hall.
That's when Veer walked down the stairs with Mayuri. Veer was dressed in a black shimmer suit. His hair well set. But his face had a placid expression.

Mayuri was dressed in a golden gown, looking like princess. A big smile formed on her face. Bani felt a sting in her heart. Didn't they look perfect? Two royals . Weren't they more compatible?

She didn't want to think this way but her heart.. The damn foolish heart was making her think all this.

Hriday put his hand on Bani's shoulder.

Hriday - I am here Bani..

Bani nods and thats when Veer looked at Bani. Suddenly a smile formed on his face. She looked beautiful. Like a goddess. Nobody in the crowd mattered other than her. His love. His queen to be. But the very next moment his eyes landed on the hand on her shoulder and the little smile faded away..

It was supposed to be him beside her. Looking at her beautiful face and soul. Making her smile. He didn't want to be so petty but he couldn't help it .

They both looked at each other. Their eyes we're telling thousand stories but their lips were sealed.

Everybody started congratulating them. Veer didn't pay any heed to them, though Mayuri did respond to all of them gladly.
Veer's eyes we're fixed on Bani.

Bani - Even we should congratulate the pair Hriday..

Hriday - You sure?

Bani - Usne mujhe bewafai di hein, main usse beparwahi ka dard mehsus karwana chahti hu..

Hriday - Par kya tum wakai beparwah ho?

Bani doesn't say anything and walks forward. Hriday follows her.

Bani comes in front of Veer and Mayuri.

Bani - Congratulations Prince and Princess.

She bows down along with Hriday to greet them.

Veer - You don't have to bow down...

Mayuri's smile turns into a frown.

Mayuri - You know her Veer Darling?

She said putting her arm across his. Veer pulls out of her hold.

Veer - Very well..

Bani - But I don't know him a bit a Princess.. .

Mayuri - But I don't understand you two..

She laughs being awkward while Hriday stays silent.

Veer - Kabhi kabhi hum bas itna hi umeed laga pate hein ki koi humare bina bole humari batein samjh jaye..

He said looking at Bani.

Bani - Kabhi kabhi toh hum khud ko bhi nahi samjh pate toh ek paraye ko kya samjh payenge..

She says taunting him . He knew she was trying to hurt him just like what he did but it still hurt. It hurt alot. Her pain. Her anger was suffocating him.

That's when Aakesh was heard.

Aakesh - Ladies and Gentlemen, I am very happy that today you all have gathered here for your Prince's engagement. It is a joyous occasion..

Veer almost rolled his eyes.

Veer - Joyous.. My foot.. More like forced. .

He mumbled.

Aakesh - Now our bride and groom to be will dance!!! You all join too!

Everybody claps.

Bani - Will you dance Hriday?

She says extending his hand in front of Veer. Hriday holds her hand.

Hriday - Sure.. (He smiles )

Bani and Hriday come on the dance floor. While jealousy strikes Veer.
Mayuri holds Veer's hand and pulls him on the dance floor.

Both Veer's and Bani's eyes we're fixed on each other. Bani held Hriday's hand and his one hand was on her waist as they swayed with the music.

Veer's vein was popping out of anger . He twirled Mayuri around as she smiled. Bani saw it  too as he smirked a little.

Soon the partners swapped and now Bani was in Veer's arm. Bani lowered her gaze to avoid meeting his eyes.

Veer - Tum kabse nazare churane lagi?

He said pulling her more closer by holding her waist.

Bani - Jabse tumhare aakhon main mohhabat nahi fareeb dikhne laga?

Veer - You haven't even looked at me properly since we spoke last time.

He said and Bani tried moving away but Veer pulled her towards him and she twirled and again was in his arms.

His face was inches apart from hers. Their cheeks rubbed against each other, arousing all those feelings within her which seemed forbidden now.

Bani- Is there anything left for you to say? Any more insults which you would want to throw at me?

She said tears formed in her eyes. Veer closed his eyes feeling her pain as he traced his fingers on her hand.

Veer - There is alot left sweetheart..

Bani - Don't call me that.. That endearment disgusts me now.

She said looking at him.

Veer turned her around and cupped her cheek.

Bani - What are you doing?

She said trying to not melt in his touch.

Veer - And if I say I was forced..? That I didn't have any choice?

Bani - We promised to share everything Veer.. Which means not just happiness but our pain and problems too but you clearly don't trust me enough then..

She said and moved her hand but Veer held it.

Veer - Don't run away from me sweetheart.. You know when you go away it feels like someone has detached my soul from me..

Bani - I don't trust you...

She said and Veer twirled her as she fell into his arms.

Mayuri watched the dance with frown on her face. Hriday also clenched his fist seeing the sight.

Bani looked at those eyes again. Those eyes that had captivated his soul.

Veer - You are now looking in my eyes.. What do you see?

He said as his eyes moistened.

Bani - I... I have.. I have to go..

She said feeling very vulnerable. The music stopped and Bani started running away.

Veer started following her when Mayuri stopped him.

Mayuri - Veer.. Where are you going? It's time for our engagement.

Veer - My engagement will be with my love..

Mayuri - What do you mean?

Veer - You will know soon..

He said and again started following Bani.
Hriday also tries following Bani but that's when he felt a hold on his hand.

Woman - My slave has taken a liking to somebody, is it?

Hriday got shocked.

Hriday - Elder Nandini!?

Bani was on the stairs when Veer reached and held her hands.

Bani - Leave my hand..

Veer - Ye hath main humesha thamne ke liye pakda tha..

Bani -  Aur mere dil main jagah kyun banayi usse todne ke liye...?!?

She said crying out aloud. A tear slipped from Veer's eyes too.

Veer - Bani, I know that your every tear was like a drop of acid on my hand. Your every broken piece of heart pierced my soul.

Bani - Then why did you spat so much venom? Why did hurt me? Why did you lie to me???

She said holding his collar.

Veer - Because of you!!!!

He said loudly as tear fell from his eyes.

Bani - What do you mean?

Veer - Because you taught me to be selfless. You taught me to help people in need, even though you might be in pain. You taught me to feel again, to care again..

He said cupping her face and touching his forehead with hers.

Bani - Please tell me the truth Veer or else I will keep suffocating..

Veer - The truth is that..

Tapish - Veer..!

Veer and Bani detach.

Veer - Tapish..

Tapish - Work is done..! He and his mother both are safe.

Bani - Who?

Veer - Rehan..

Bani looks at Veer shocked as Veer tells her the entire truth.

Bani - How could Aakesh sir do that? How could he be so cruel? How could he be blinded with his revenge so much that he is hurting his very own brother.

Veer - My brother is dead Bani, longback. He died with Ish. Now it's just a walking corpse whose existence is only for revenge.

He said blankly.

Tapish - Veer! I am very proud of you and I am glad you are taking stand for what is right. And Bani.. There is one more thing..

Bani - What..?

Tapish - I have shifted Meera too!

Bani - What? Where? Her Hospital..?

Veer - Calm down sweetheart.. She is at a secret place and all equipments and Doctors will be available for her..

Bani - But why are we shifting her?

Tapish - After what Veer will do today.. Meera might become the next target.

Bani - What are you planning to do?

Tapish - You guys talk.. I will take my leave.

He went giving them privacy.

Bani - Veer tell me..

Veer - I am going to make my Queen mine officially..

He said holding Bani in his embrace.

Bani - I don't understand..

Veer - Bani tonight is the night of my engagement, but not with Mayuri. With you my love.. I will make you mine today..

Bani - Veer.. Do I deserve this though?

She said as tears slipped from her eyes.

Veer - Hey! Hey! Stop crying! Nobody other than you deserve my ring on their finger. In fact I am not sure if I am good for you..

Bani - I didn't trust you Veer. I doubted you again. I tried to hurt you.

She said turning away.

Veer - Bani, this is real life not fiction where we can read minds. Words play a crucial role in our lives. It's important that we display our emotions through our words and whatever Venom I spat that day your reaction was justifiable.

He said as he kissed on her forehead.

Bani - I love you Veer Singhania.

She said with tears of love in her eyes.

Veer - Love you more Mrs Singhania to be..

Veer smiled and Bani blushed.

Veer - Also I know you are still young. So don't worry , we will get engaged and get married after we graduate. What say?

Bani nods in happiness.

Veer - Come out now..

Bani - Par kaha?

Veer - Sawal nahi..

He said brushing his fingers on her lips as she looked at him. Veer took her at the terrace where the moonlight's was falling on them.

The moon goddess was herself blessing the beautiful pair.

Veer brushed Bani's hair with his hand.

Bani - It's beautiful..

Veer - It is..but you look breathtaking Sweetheart.. The moment you entered and my gaze fell on you, I fell like I again fell for you.. But you came with him..

He said sulking like a little child.

Bani - He is my friend Veer..

Veer - But I suspect him..

Bani - If you suspect him..I know there will be some reason. We need a solid proof But it's better this way till then,keep your enemies closer .

Veer hugs her from behind.

Veer - I was really scared and helpless.. I never felt that way..

Bani - Veer... I am proud of you.. And I am very happy that you selflessly sacrificed your love for a child's life. Honestly you did 'nt even give up on us and that is why my love has magnified for you Veer..

She said cupping his face. Veer put his hand on her hand placed on his cheek.

Veer - Is baar tumne tay kar liya tha na .. Ki tum mujhe chor dungi..

Bani - Sach kahu toh tay toh kar liya tha maine, ki chand zami par le aao toh hi maaf karungi..

She said and laughed. Veer also smiled a little.

Bani - Veer, whatever happened let's forget about it.

She said kissing his hand.

Veer - But I have to tell you something Bani.. After this engagement.. Problems will increase for you.. People will try to break us apart.

Bani - No matter what happens, I will stay beside you and you will stay beside me. Forever. Our relation has always strengthened by these problems. Cause our relationship is like a diamond Veer.

Heera tabhi chamakta hein jab uspar dabab dala jaye.

Veer smiles and kisses her . He captured her lips completely. He didn't want to let her go. Bani also kissed him passionately.

Veer fisted her hair and pulled her a little back to get access to her neck . He dropped wet kisses on her neck as she closed her eyes with the ethereal feeling.

Veer went back to kiss her as his hands travelled to her bosom.

Bani -Ve... Veeer..

She said being out of breathe as she held his hand.

Bani - Veer aren't we getting late for the ceremony..

Veer - And I am worshiping my Queen before making her mine officially..

He said as he again caught her lips. He then put his hand in the pocket and took out the ring box. The ring was embedded with a ruby in heart shape. The perfect ring for his sweetheart.

Bani smiles looking at the ring as Veer bends on one knee.

Veer - Ms Bani Sharma will you marry me?

Bani - YESSSS!!

She said with a big smile on her face.
Veer slides the ring in Bani's finger and gets up. Bani hugs him and they twirl around. Laughing and giggling.

They hault and keep looking at each other.

Veer - Promise me this will be forever. We will br forever.

Bani - This will be forever.

They smiled and hats when a thunderous voice was heard.

Aakesh - What the hellll????

There stood Aakesh with bloodshot eyes. Mayuri had tears in her eyes while Andy was fing in anger too. Preeta stood still with a stoic expression.

It was now time to fight with the world for each other. Bani and Veer stood still holding each other's hand.

Today the power of love was going to be showcased and embedded in the hearts of evil.
