Bani was moving downstairs when suddenly somebody held her hand , she parted her lips to shout when the person put his hand on her mouth stopping her from speaking.

She was dragged back. She could hear a door opening. As they entered the person loosened his grip. Bani was about to slap the person when she stopped midway witnessing who it was. It was Tapish.

Bani - Tapish!??? Where the hell am I? And Why did you pull me here!!?

Tapish - Bani calm down.. It's for your own good..

Bani - What do you mean?

Tapish - Aakesh sir is here..!

Bani - Aakesh..? You mean the principal of the academy?

Tapish - Yes

Bani - But what is he doing here and how does that concern me?

Tapish - Aakesh sir is Veer's older brother and alot more dangerous..

Bani - What do you mean? Be clear..!

Tapish- He hates humans Bani and he is ruthless especially when the matter is related to Veer..!

Bani - Meera.. Meera is outside... I have to go.. (She starts leaving)

Tapish - Bani you can't..! Veer is trying to deal with the situation..

Bani - Tapish.. She is already not well and I can't lose her.. She is the only one left for me . . My only family... (She said as pools of tears formed in her eyes)

Tapish also felt downhearted listening to Bani's cry and Meera's conditions but he knew he had to be patient and make Bani understand.

Tapish - Bani.. Trust Veer.. Nothing will happen to Meera..

Elsewhere

Veer walked in the living area. Meera was standing in front being scared and vulnerable while Aakesh stood with a devious grin on his face.

Veer - Aakesh Bhai.. Such a pleasure to have you... Or maybe not.. (He said with a fake smile)

Aakesh - My lovely brother... That's rude.. Don't you think ?

Veer - Why are you here?

Aakesh - Come on.. Can't I meet my brother..

Veer - Don't make me laugh.. You don't visit me unless their is some motive behind it..

Aakesh - When will you understand Veer.. That whatever I do.. I do it for you...!!! (He shouted)

Veer - Is that how you make yourself feel better because guess what Aakesh Singhania.. Whatever you do.. You do it for yourself..! (He shouted back)

Aakesh - VEER! That's enough !!

Veer - Why don't you just leave..?

Aakesh - I will but if I have come so far..I won't go without treating myself..

Veer - What do you mean?

Aakesh gave a evil grin as he turned to look at a trembling Meera. Veer knew what was going on in Aakesh's mind. He understood why Aakesh was actually here.

Aakesh moved towards Meera as Meera took few steps back. Her face stained with tears.

Meera - Pl.. Please.. Leave.. Me...

Aakesh was about to hold her neck when Veer stood in between holding Aakesh's arm.

Veer - You can't touch her..

Aakesh - And Why not..? (He arched an eye brow)

Veer - Because...

Aakesh - Give me one reason Veer before I rip her apart...

Veer clenched his jaw. Aakesh could do anything. Veer was more powerful to him but till his coronation all the power of the council lied in Aakesh's hand. He could do anything to anyone anywhere.
Veer had to come up with a solution. He knew Bani would never forgive him if something happens to Meera.

Veer - Because she is my meal..! My toy to play with..

He said in a go.

Aakesh gave an amusing smile.

Aakesh - Really?

Veer - Yes brother and you know very well that I don't share anything which is mine..

Aakesh - Ohh really then how about you feed on her..?

Veer - I am not hungry...

Aakesh - Ohh but I am.. If you don't feed on her.. I will do it by hook or crook...

Veer clenches his fist. He was at a tight spot now. He knew that whatever path he chooses would lead to an adversity but he had to call. He had to do this to save Bani's sister.

Veer - Okay then...

Veer said and turned towards Meera while Aakesh went and sat at the couch, celebrating the plan that he made in his mind. After today it was impossible for Veer and Bani to be cordial to each other. He smirked.

Veer took a step forward.

Meera - Please Prince.. I am.. I am here for Bani di.. Please leave her.. You can kill me if you want.. But spare her please... (She said sobbing)

Veer holds Meera's neck and whispers something in her ear. He loosens the grip and Meera stopped reacting. She just looked in another direction.

Veer got a light hold on her neck as he bit her on the crook of her neck.

Meera - AHHHH! (She shouted in pain)

Veer continued drinking the blood as tears dropped from her eyes.

Meera was also shouting in pain when suddenly she fainted and fell on the ground.

Veer - Oops.. I guess my prey was weak.. (He smirked).. Are you happy now bhai..?

Aakesh - Ohh I am.. Fine then.. I guess it's time to take leave.. (He smirked and left along with his men)

Aakesh went and that fake smirk from Veer's face disappeared.

Veer - Meera...

Bani - Tapish.. It's being more than an hour now.. Can we please go out... I feel something is not right..!

Tapish - An attendee will inform us as soon as Aakesh leaves.

Bani - Everything will be alright right..?

Tapish - It will.. (He gave a soft smile )
That's when the door opened and an attendee entered.

Attendee - Sir, Aakesh sir has left..!

He said and Bani immediately ran towards the living area. Tapish also followed her. They both ran with the hope that everything had sorted out but they didn't know what horrific scene they were going to see.

As Bani entered she saw Meera fainted on the floor with blood on her kurti.

Bani - MEERAAAAAA!!!

She ran and sat on the ground keeping Meera 's head on her lap.

Bani - Meera.. My baby... Get up.. Open your eyes... Please... (She sobs)... You know I have just you.... Vee.. Veer what happ..

She was about to question Veer when Bani looked at him and her face paled out. He had her blood.. Her sister's blood smeared around his face.

Bani- Yo.. You...

Veer - Bani.. It isn't what you think.. Let me explain..

He was about to say something when a strong punch landed on his face . His face turned due to it's impact. It was Tapish.

Tapish - How could you stoop so low???

Veer's clenched his fist. No body had authority to even touch him but he knew somewhere that his anger would make the situation worse.

Veer - Tapish.. Nothing is going to happen to her... Bani.. Let's not waste time.. Let's take her to the hospital.. (He said trying to hold Meera)

Bani - DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HER!! (She said her eyes filled with anger and tears)

Tapish - You are such a player Veer.. Great actor I must say.. Just like how you were fooling Bani with your acting.. You fooled us in believing that you could save Meera.. isn't?

He said and Bani looked at Veer being more shocked. Veer didn't know what to say. The hurt in her eyes was speaking volumes.

Tapish - Bani.. I will take her to the hospital....

Bani - Please Tapish... (She said in a pleading tone as Tapish held Meera in his arms)..

Tapish took Meera to the hospital in his Vampiric speed.

Now Bani and Veer were standing in the living area.

Veer -Bani please. . Listen to me... I did that to save her...

Bani - Save her !? By drinking her blood? You knew she is sick.. (She said holding Veer's collar while tears fell from her eyes)... But still you did it..

Veer - Bani... He would have killed her.. (He said in a desperate attempt to make Bani understand)

Bani - And you have already killed that tiny bit of trust that I had in you... I am such a fool.. Such a fucking idiot.... I trusted somebody like you..

Veer - What do you mean by somebody like me...? (He said holding her hand and pulling her closer as hurt and anger were evident on his face)

Bani - Somebody whose heartless, ego centric and a psychopath...!! (She said angrily looking into his eyes)

Veer loosened his grip. He was hurt.He felt like something broke within him. He loved to be called a monster but her telling all this was unbearable for him.

Veer - What about our moments?

Bani - Werent they fake!? Weren't you playing some stupid game with me..? Messing with my emotions?

Veer - I thought so.. But isn't true Bani.. When all of this became real I didn't even understand..

Bani - Cut your crap... And stay away from me.. The one day you asked for is done and I got out of your web of lies and deceit.. (She said and started leaving)

Veer - Bani please... I will do anything for your forgiveness.. To win your trust back..

Bani - You want to do something for me..?

Veer nods in hope.

Bani - You sure? You can do anything I ask for?

Veer - Yes.. !

Bani - Never show me your face again.. Cause I loathe your presence..

She said and again started leaving wiping her tears. She had to be strong for her sister.

Veer - I am sorry that I let you down..

She left while a drop of tear after years fell from Veer's eyes.

It seemed like an end but an end is also a beginning.
